Garou the Monster in MHA

This is the story of what if Garou was born into the My Hero Academia world. Who else from One Punch Man appear in this story and how will it change the MHA world. (This is my first Fanfic, so it might not be good. I am open to any criticism that you may have as it will help me for future fanfics. I will try to post during the week and take a break during the weekend.)

31. Chapter 31

At the beginning of the battle

Garou's pov

"RRRRRAAAAAUUUUGGGGHHHHH!" All for One, All Might, and I scream as we begin the battle. When I get close to them, I jump in the air as All for One and All Might's fists collide, making a shockwave. I dive while in the air and I try to slam both my feet on them, but they dodge and I hit the ground instead. My attack destroyed at least two blocks of the city that is now in ruin because of the earthquakes from Rover during our battle underground.

All Might then dashes at me to land a hit on me, but I duck and kick him into a building, does it. "Come on All Might! That can't be all you got!" I yell. "Try that on me!" I hear All for One say from behind me. I quickly turn only to get hit by some kind of air attack. The attack pushes me back a long way, but I plant my feet into the ground to stop myself. All for One doesn't stop as he sends lightning at me, but I manage to dodge.

This guy has so many quirks! No wonder they call him All for One. "SMASH!" All Might yells his move as he appears out of nowhere to attack me. However, I quickly put my arms up for defense and I block the attack in time. "You're stronger than you were at the USJ!" All Might says. "And you've gotten weaker!" I say as he throws another punch, but I redirect the attack and I strike his wound on his stomach causing him to vomit blood. I'm not holding back this time! I'm going all out!

Midoriya's pov

The others and I eventually arrive at the battle and we are shocked. "What is Garou doing here?!" Iida asks. "More importantly, when did he get here?" Todoroki says. "Tsk! I don't see Kota anywhere!" I yell. The others look for him too until Yaoyorozu grabs my shoulder. "There!" She yells. "I look and see Kota running out of a destroyed build. He's alright! Thank God!

However, All Might, Garou, and All for One take notice of Kota while fighting. "Ah. Perfect. A hostage." All for One says as he goes to grab Kota. However, Garou comes out of nowhere and kicks All for One in the face, sending him into a building. "Get out of here, turd!" Garou yells as he attacks All Might. "All Might is having to hold back to make sure Kota won't get hurt." I say out loud.

"If so, then we need to get him out of there." Kirishima says. "Iida, do you think you can get him?" Yaoyorozu asks. "I can't. I'm not fast enough to get to him." Iida says. I look at the battlefield and an idea comes to my mind. "Maybe, I can get him." I say. "What?! You're not fast enough—", "I know." I cut Iida off. "But I have to try." I say. Maybe, if the monster fication enhanced my strength, then maybe it enhanced my speed.

"I need you 4 to start running and get out of Kamino. I'll meet you back at UA." I tell them. "Huh?!" They all yell. "Just trust me!" I yell. They reluctantly nod as I focus up. I have to get Kota out of there. As fast as possible. I power myself up and run towards Kota at extreme speeds, while pink lighting surrounds me. I reach him and run away as far as I can.

I arrive at a crowded street far away from the battle. "Woah! How did I get here?!" Kota yells. "Don't worry, you're safe." I say to Kota as he turns and is shocked to see me. "M…Midoriya? How…How did you get me out of there?" Kota asks. "No time to explain. Let's go." I say, but Kota stops. "Wait. Look!" Kota yells as he points to the news broadcast showing the battle happening.

Back at the fight

Garou's pov

After I block another hit from All for One, I punch him in the face so hard that his mask breaks, revealing half of his face. Holy shit, he's ugly! I look around and notice something. "Hey where's the turd?" I ask. Did he make it out alright? "The young man must have left. That's good because I don't have to hold back anymore!" All Might says with a smile.

"Hehe. Don't lie to yourself All Might. We both know you're running on fumes now." All for One says. "I still have enough power to bring both you and Garou down." All Might says. "Hehe. Please, you couldn't beat me while I was still human. And yet, you still think you can beat me in this form?!" I say. "Yes, you've gotten stronger ever since USJ, but are you strong enough to take on both of us?" All for One says.

"All Might, you know the threat he poses. I recommend that we work together for now and then finish our duel." All for One says. All Might stays silent for a little bit before answering, "Very well, but then I'm taking you down, All for One." All Might says. "So that's it?! Are you two getting so desperate that you need to team up against me?!" I yell before simply smirking. "Go ahead. Even with you two teaming up, you still won't be able to stop me." I say.

No one's pov

All of the world is shocked. The Symbol of Peace has teamed up with his arch nemesis to defeat Garou. Many are asking themselves, 'How can a quirkless nobody be so dangerous that both Symbols of good and evil must unite to defeat one man? A quirkless man?'

The pros who are watching the battle at their homes are cheering for All Might to win. While Tomura Shigaraki cheers for his master to win. However, his League of villains are mixed. Spinner is aware that Stain said to follow Garou, but Spinner doesn't truly understand Garou's motives since Garou has targeted true heroes. Twice and Compress respect Garou, but are unsure if he is truly trying to make the world better. Magne was already starting to dislike Shigaraki and is wondering if Garou is just like him. As for Toga, she is mixed about Garou. One one hand, she thinks he looks cute covered in blood and wishes to taste his. On the other hand, she is still pissed about Garou knocking her out a few days ago.

As for Dabi and Kurogiri, they're silently cheering for Garou. Dabi is almost completely with Garou, but he still doesn't know Garou's motives. Kurogiri is silently praying that Garou wins so that he can finally be free. From both All for One, and Shigaraki.

But back to the fight, both All Might and All for One dash at Garou at high speeds. All Might throws a punch at Garou, but he dodges only to be hit by air cannon from All for One and electrocuted by lightning. 'Damn! It's going to take everything that I've got to beat them!' Garou thinks to himself. He tries to come up with a strategy and concludes that he should take out All Might first since he is weaker right now, then take down All for One.

"It's over Garou! You won't put this world in danger any more!" All Might yells at Garou as he throws a punch at Garou. However, Garou smirks and simply ducks under the punch and performs martial arts on All Might that attacks his lungs. 'Since his lungs are his weakness, I'll strike them first then finish him off!' Garou thinks to himself. Garou then uses Fist of Flowing Water Crushing Rock to attack All Might's pressure points.

'Damn it! He knew my weakness and his attacks are much stronger than before. He might have even surpassed me when I was in my prime!" All Might thinks in shock. All for One comes up from behind Garou to strike at him, but Garou senses him. Garou proceeds to uppercut All Might to stagger him before jumping in the air and twisting his whole body in midair to grab All for One by the head with his legs. Garou flips himself and All for One and slams All for One into the ground, nearly burying All for One's body.

With Garou distracted, All Might makes his move and tries to punch Garou, but Garou turns around and collides his fist with All Might's. However, Garou uses Bomb's style, Fist of Whirling Wind Slashing Steel, to slice All Might's arm and creates deep cuts that nearly take off his arm. "GGGAAAAHHH!" All Might screams out in pain. Garou then uses Fist of Flowing Water Crushing Rock to beat All Might to a bloody pulp.

'I can't lose! Not now!' All Might yells in his head. Without any other options All Might decides to use his ultimate move to defeat Garou. "UNITED STATES OF SMASH!" All Might yells his ultimate move as uses what is left of One for All to punch Garou. The hit connects with Garou, sending Garou flying through the air and destroying the surrounding area.

However, this actually works in Garou's favor. While flying in the air, Garou sees that he is about to collide with a building. So, he twists his body to were once he touches the building, he can jump back at All Might, destroying the top of the building with the same amount of force All Might hit him with. He hits the building and jumps back at All Might. While flying at All Might, Garou positions his body in a similar way to All Might's stance.

When Garou saw All Might use his ultimate move, Garou saw his body movements and determined the amount of power behind the attack. This info allows Garou to copy All Might's style without All Might's quirk. All Might is beyond exhausted. He is nearly about to debuff when he sees Garou destroy the building and is heading straight at him with incredible speed. 'How?! I hit him with my ultimate move!' All Might thought to himself. "Hey All Might, thanks for the new move!" Garou yells as he uses All Might's style. "That's my style!" All Might yells. "UNITED STATES OF SMASH!" Garou yells as he punches All Might in the face. The attack is equal to the amount of power All Might uses when powering One for All. Yet, Garou is quirkless and is still able to copy it.

The punch sends All Might through three buildings, causing them to collapse and leaving All Might on top of the rubble, deflated back to his skinny form. Everyone watching the battle on the news is shocked at what happened to All Might. They question whether Garou did this to him, or if this is All Might's true form.

"Hehe. I finally beat you—" Garou is cut off when All for One comes out of nowhere and grabs him by the throat while dragging him all over the ground. "Did you really forget me?!" All for One taunts Garou. "I waited for you to deal with All Might, no doubt draining your stamina from fighting him. Leaving me the opportunity to kill you!" All for One yells as Garou tries to think of something.

While being dragged on the ground, Garou is struggling to find an opening. "And to think that you could ever be the symbol of despair. You are nothing, but a quirkless fool who tries to be something more than he is!" All for One says. This really pisses Garou. So much so that he manages to find an opening. Garou slams his fist on the ground to yank himself out of All for One's grip.

Garou stands up, all bloody and clothes torn up. He can't give up however. He must win. He will win. "I will be the symbol of despair. You will be nothing, but an old fairytale." Garou says with a smirk. "You ignorant child!" All for One yells as he fires black tendrils at Garou. Garou tries to defend himself, but gets pierced by one tendril.

"NO!" Kota yells in despair. Everyone sees that it's a fatal blow that could kill anyone, but Garou is different. He simply stands up and looks at the hole in his gut. "Heh. And I just healed that earlier." Garou says as his wound heals. "It's going to take more than that to kill me, you ugly mother fucker." Garou insults All for One. Now pissed, All for One sends multiple black tendrils to pierce Garou again. However, Garou uses Fist of Flowing Water to redirect them all even as All for One creates more. Seeing an opening, Garou jumps out of the way and starts to run as the tendrils are right behind him. 'Come on! Move!' Garou thinks to himself. He starts to move fast, faster than anything in the world and breaks the sound barrier.

All for One can't keep track as all he sees is a massive blue blur swerving all over the city and buildings before jumping towards All for One. All for One sees Garou using All Might's moves to attack him from one side, but then All for One sees another Garou and another Garou. It turns out, Garou moved so fast that he created 15 after images of himself. The attacks connect with All for One, tearing up his suit, destroying his mask, and breaking so many of his bones.

"I won't let it end like this!" All for One yells as he creates a shockwave that knocks Garou back. With no reason to hold back, All for One combines all of his quirks into his right arm, creating a massive monstrosity of an arm with multiple quirks running through it. "Behold Garou, the ultimate combination of quirks! Even All Might wouldn't survive this!" All for One yells as he charges at Garou and hits Garou with his massive arm.

The attack creates a massive shockwave that destroys what is left of the city and more. Everyone is left on edge as there is a cloud of dust covering the area. "Please be okay, Garou." Kota says. "Don't die on me, Garou." Dabi says. "Did Master do it?" Shigaraki asks.

The dust settles and everyone is shocked. "How…How did you…" All for One is at a loss for words as he sees Garou standing his ground and blocking the massive fist with his whole body. "I've become…grr…much stronger than you realize." Garou says as he pushes the fist back. "Today, I take your throne as the new Symbol of Fear!" Garou yells as he gets in his stance and dashes at All for One.

All for One is not prepared for the onslaught of attacks that hit him. Every blow breaks one of his bones and destroys his pressure points completely. Garou doesn't stop as he uses Whirling Wind to cut All for One's limbs off. "Goodbye, All for One!" Garou yells as he uses All Might's United States of Smash on All for One and slams his head into the ground, destroying the whole area and knocking All for One unconscious.

Garou breathes easily now that he has won. He is happy. He has shown the world that he is stronger than both All Might and All for One. "AAAAAWWWOOOHHHH!" Garou howls like a wolf at night to the sky, declaring victory. Everyone is shocked. Not only has Garou beaten All Might, but he beat All for One by himself.

"This can't be." Midoriya denies what he is seeing as do the other students and pros who are watching this at home. "He did it." Kota says to himself, smiling that his hero won. "What do you know?" Dabi says, pleased that Garou won. "No. Nonono! He cheated!" Shigaraki yells in anger that his master lost. Garou begins to walk away when he sees a skinny figure in front of him, all bloody and wearing All Might's uniform. 'So this is All Might's true form.' Garou says. 'How pathetic. The unstoppable hero is actually an old man.' Garou thinks to himself. "If you want to fight me, just know you won't win. I know you're powerless in this form." Garou says.

"…Why?" All Might asks. "Huh?" Garou is confused. "I don't understand your motives. You claim to be evil, but you haven't killed any heroes. And you are clearly aware of what is happening to you. I just don't understand. Why? Why do you do the things you do?!" All Might demands an answer. Many pros appear with missing limbs and carrying their fallen comrades, clearly the result of the battle with the Nomu Monster hybrids. They gather to hopefully capture Garou, but they know that they won't be able to stop him. So, they want to know his motives as well. Even the League are listening so they can find out his motives, as did everyone watching the news.

Garou's pov

They want to know why? Fine. I tell them. "Hehehe." I chuckle. "All of you. IT'S BECAUSE OF ALL OF YOU!" I yell. "The people! The world! None of you see anything. Anything! You act like heroes even though you can't save one child. You're all insane!" I yell as they listen to what I say. "Yet people rely on you madmen. They make the mistaken assumption that of course you'll save them. No matter what happens, someone will do something." I say as some start to think about what I'm saying.

"It's not their problem if a monster appears. It's not as if most people's lives will change. And so, in a small part of their heart, it will have room to grow. Evil will be born. But still, the evil of people will never be judged. That's the difference between them and monsters. The phony peace that heroes create will dye the people with evil. That's why I'm doing this. I will be the count devil that plunges humanity into terror!" I yell.

"In a world with no room for survival, evil will disappear. And so will bullying, and discrimination, even war! What this world needs is not biased justice! But absolute evil!" I yell. "You asked what I'm fighting for, well I'm fighting for world peace! No justice will be able to overthrow me. I will be stronger than anyone. I will be…AN ABSOLUTE MONSTER!" I yell out with all my heart.

"Once I've completed my transformation, unbiased terror will scatter throughout the world and it can establish real peace. Don't think that all children are waiting for heroes. There are even kids around the world waiting for a great monster to take the stage. Can you save them?! Can you follow the ugly kid being picked on in the park?!" I ask. "I do! I can save the whole world with terror! While humanity is fearing Garou the Monster, everyone's hearts will unite to survive." I yell.

"Is there any peace other than this?! Can you create peace? Can you unbiasedly save the world without that flimsy cape? Do you have the means to stop the unseen tragedies? You're strong, but so what? You may defeat me one day, but can you handle it? The Responsibility?! Well?! If you're going to stand there, then answer the question! What will you accomplish? Why will you kill me now? Do you have a sense of duty like mine? Why are you heroes?!" I yell, finishing my speech.

No one's pov

Everyone is at a loss for words. The heroes, who once believed Garou to be nothing but a psycho rampaging through Japan, now see that Garou is trying to achieve world peace. Midoriya is both surprised and confused, since he and the other students don't truly know what is wrong with society due to how they were raised. Kota now understands why Garou hated being called a hero and why he wants to be seen as a monster. The League is also at a loss of words.

Dabi, at first, didn't truly know Garou's mission, but now he does and is now fully with Garou. The other members also understand. They each followed Stain's ideology, but they didn't understand what Stain saw in Garou. But now, they see that Garou is truly the one to reshape society in a better way. They now know that Garou is the one they should follow. Not Shigaraki. Almost everyone now understands Garou.

'Garou has a point. The hero world is corrupt and it can be biased, but there are better ways to reform it.' All Might thought to himself. "Garou, I understand where you're coming from, but the way you're going about it is wrong. If you want to change society, then work with the system to eventually change it from the inside." All Might says. "They won't listen to reason, only action. And I'm going to give it to them." Garou says.

"Garou…I know what it's like to be discriminated against. I was quirkless when I was younger, but I met someone who gave the power to protect–" All Might is cut off by Garou punching him in the gut. "You were quirkless like me? If so, then why didn't you make life better for us. You could have stopped the discrimination against quirkless, but you did nothing. Not only that, but you took the easy way out by taking a quirk from someone else. You're a coward, All Might." Garou says. All Might listens to what Garou says and he knows deep down that Garou is right. 'I should've been better than this.' All Might thinks to himself. As Garou walks away, All Might says, "My successor will stop you.", "And I'll be waiting." Garou says.

Garou's pov

With All Might on his hands and knees, I simply turn and walk away from the other pro heroes. They're too wounded to fight me now, so I don't have to worry about them. While walking, Shigaraki gets in my way. "So, that's your reason for hunting heroes? World Peace?! You truly don't deserve to be a villain! I will avenge my Master by turning you into–"

Suddenly, blue fire hits Shigaraki in the back, cutting him off. I look behind him and see Dabi right there. "Grr, Dabi? Why?!" Shigaraki asks, now with his back burnt. "I'm done following you, even though I wasn't really on your side." Dabi says. "My new leader is right there." Dabi says, pointing at me. "What?" I ask. "You truly are the one to change society for the better. You may not want me around, but I want to follow you and plunge the world into despair so that world peace is possible." Dabi says.

Suddenly, the other League members are standing by his side as well. The lizard guy, Spinner if I'm right, plants his sword into the ground and bends his knees in front of me. "When Stain said to follow you, I was unsure. But now, I see what Stain saw in you! I wish to join you in your fight!" Spinner says. "You do seem to be a better stage manager than Shigaraki." Mr. Compress says. "You are truly someone who too wants everyone to be treated as equals." Magne says. "You seem like a cool dude to chill with! I hate you!" Twice says in a weird way. "You're cute. And I want to get to know you better." Toga says, staring at me with lustful eyes. I simply look away, blushing a little.

This is not what I thought would happen. I could just say no, but maybe…I could use some help sometimes. "...You can follow me if you want, until you get back on your feet then you can leave." I say as I begin to walk away. I land my eyes on Kurogiri as he stands in front of Shigaraki.

"Kurogiri, please help me." Shigaraki begs. "...No." Kurogiri says as Shigaraki looks shocked. "I tried to teach you morality, but you have none. And I'm tired of being a slave. I'm going with Garou." Kurogiri says. "Why?!" Shigaraki asks. "Because he has a noble goal to reach and I will happily help him in any way. Goodbye, Tomura Shigaraki." Kurogiri says as he walks to me.

"Please allow me to teleport you to your base." Kurogiri offers. It beats walking. "It's the old apartment building in Tokyo." I say, whispering it to him so the heroes don't hear. Kurogiri nods as forms a portal around me and my new…roommates. Not so sure if I made the right choice.

Shigaraki's pov

I watch as Kurogiri teleports Garou and the traitors away. Damn you! You have taken everything from me! I was meant to be the symbol of fear, but you took that away from me! You poisoned my league with your morals! I swear I will destroy everything you love and care about, Garou!

Suddenly, a flying monster comes over to me and picks me up. "W…What?" I ask. "Relax Tomura, my creation is taking you to my location." I hear a voice as an eye-ball fly monster appears. Isn't it that Gyoro Gyoro monster that Master worked with? "You want power? I can give you it. Enough to kill Garou." Gyoro Gyoro says. "Really?" I ask. "Yes, but we will discuss matters later." Gyoro Gyoro says. If this thing can give the power to kill Garou, then I'll take whatever I can get.

Midoriya's pov

With All Might defeated, the world will plunge into chaos. This isn't how it was supposed to go. I did nothing to help. I was supposed to save Kota, but Garou did instead. But, his motive is so confusing. What is wrong with stopping evil? And the hero society isn't that bad. You're just making excuses. I will stop you. Even if it takes me forever.

No one's pov

The world has entered a new stage. With Garou having most of the public on his side as well as a team, he might accomplish his goal. But only time will tell.

(Note: Now that the chapter is out, I'll be taking a week long break. Also, for those who need a reminder on who dropped out of UA. Those are Aoyama, Ojiro, Koda, Sato, Shoji, Jirou, Sero, Hagakure, and Mineta. Why did I get rid of these guys. Well, in my opinion, they do absolutely nothing major in the story. And I disliked that Aoyama was the traitor. Which is why I changed that up. The traitor is someone different. Anyways, I'm going to enjoy my break and especially enjoy watching the finale of Attack on Titan. When I come back, it will involve a certain little horned girl.)
