"We have two new students in today," Aizawa told the class.
There was a male and a female. The male had a similar design and build as Olly did, being a bit more thicker in the arms and legs. His bangs mirrored Olly's, and he wore a blue suit with a white dress shirt and a yellow tie. The pants matched the suit, possibly being part of the suit, and he wore mauve dress shoes.
The female had a more curious design. Her thick, green curls were pulled into pigtails. Izuku noticed right away that her arms held a black gradient, and her legs as well. Her pale skin held a slight green complexion. Her hourglass body figure was surprisingly thin with thin limbs, the yellow polka-dot dress loose enough to add a bit of false thickness to her body, the puffy sleeves doing nothing for her. The most interesting feature about her, perhaps, was he line on her neck. It almost looked like a seam, like she was nothing but a sewn-together monster. Izuku examined her up and down, but couldn't find any other seams on her.
"Wait, is the guy Origami Folk?" Izuku heard Olivia whisper to her brother.
The male waved. "My name is Olive Oni-Kami." He bowed. "I really do hope you welcome Origami Folk here at this wonderful school!"
The female curtsied. "And I'm Mimi. I'm sure Olive and I will love it here."
There was something unsettling about her. Olly noticed it too, as he flinched away from her when she walked past his desk. She winked at Izuku when he watched her, and shoved Olive from the seat he chose and sat there instead. She laughed at him when he gave her an irritated glare, and he was forced to sit behind Ayoyama.
Izuku couldn't focus on classes that day. He was trying to figure out what that seam was for. It could be related to her Quirk, since she couldn't go to UA without one, or something else entirely. Could it actually be a scar? If so, how could it be so close to her neck without her being dead? With closer examination, he found it wrapped around her entire neck. He ruled out the option for it being a scar at that point. He was pulled from his thoughts when Olly tapped his shoulder.
"Huh?!" He whipped around. "Oh, it's just you. Next time, let me know if you want to talk. Tapping someone like that is a good way to give someone a heart attack."
"Sorry. Anyways..." He pointed at the board.
Izuku never noticed they were in a different class! Taking a look at the board, he saw it was the roles for the upcoming play The Tale of Pirates. Ochaco was excited, like a few of the girls, but the boys seemed pretty irritated. Present Mic grabbed Izuku's name, which was written on a sheet of paper, off the board and moved it to the spot of the secondary lead role, The Pirate Captain's Second in Charge, as it was named.
"Oh no...I wasn't even prepared for the play yet!"
"Uh...Mimi?" Present Mic asked. "That's one of the new students, right?"
Mimi raised her hand. "I'm right here, Mic."
He placed her on the main character's rival. "Nice."
She quietly clapped.
He grabbed Olivia next. "Olivia Shokunin."
"Ooh, I hope I get someone good!" Izuku heard her say.
She was chosen for the lead role, Esmerelda the Pirate Captain.
"Ooh! Yay!" She clapped excitedly. "Rubber Band will do great on my costume!"
Izuku noticed Olive was watching Olivia with a certain shine in his rectangle eyes. Izuku decided to talk to him during lunch.
He sped up to catch up with him after getting his food. "Olive, hey!"
Olive stopped and turned. "Oh, it's Zuzu. Why are you running?"
"I wanted to ask you a few questions."
Olive sat down at the table. "Alright. What do you want to know? You're so friendly, asking me questions on my first day of school!" He smiled.
"Do you know Mimi?"
He nodded.
"What's with the line on her neck?"
He shrugged.
Mimi slammed her tray down on the table next to Olive and sat down. "Grr, who does that Olivia think she is, stealing my role!"
"Hey, you'll do great."
"Don't you get it? She's the lead. Her character is supposed to win!"
"Next question," Izuku inserted. "Why were you staring at Olivia like that? Do you have a crush on her or something?"
"O...Olivia?" He laughed. "Ah, no. Sorry. I wasn't staring at her."
"Huh...?"
Mimi gave him a look also.
"I was staring at her brother. Olly, was it?" He sighed happily. "I mean, can't you just feel the power coming from him? It makes me want to-"
"Shut up, Olive," Mimi interrupted. "That's too much info."
"But...Deku asked."
Izuku nodded and scribbled down on his study of Olive: "Definitely gay."
"He likes girls, Olive." Mimi spun her fork in a small circle. "Girls like me!"
"I know, but can't a guy dream of finding his true love one day?"
"You are so weird," she said, standing. "I'm sitting somewhere else." She walked off.
"Why are you sitting here alone?" Izuku asked Olive.
"Um...I don't know anyone here, and Olly keeps giving Mimi strange looks. What if I'm next? I can't have my reputation ruinined from the Origami King!"
"Seems like you know Olly just fine." He raised a brow. "Why don't you just talk to him?"
"Uh, duh! I have feelings for him. I don't want to get turned down by someone like him. It'll hurt me for life!"
"Okay. How do you know about him?"
"He's kind of famous. It'll be like saying I don't know who All Might is. It's kind of impossible for you to not know who he is."
"Good point. Why don't you try Ayoyama? He's...also like you, plus he's just a more flamboyant version of Olly."
Olive glanced at Ayoyama. "Eh...I'm attracted to power. Magic, actually. It makes me complete, in a way. It's like I crave something I know I cannot have. Olly's the strongest guy here besides uh," he eyed Izuku up and down, "you, no offence. I just feel so drawn to magic and-Are you even paying attention?"
"Huh? Oh, yeah. I was, sorry."
Olive stood, huffing. "Rude! But that's fine, because I don't need to talk to you!" He grabbed his cup of water and splashed Izuku with it. "If you ask a question, you should have the patience to listen!" He stormed off.
Izuku wiped the water from his face.
