He kept her up half the night, reaching for her every chance he got, so it was nearly noon when Kagome finally opened her eyes, face scrunching up as she pulled the covers over her head. They were suddenly thrown aside when she realized he wasn't beside her, and she sat up frantically but was rewarded with an enticing image of a spare sheet draped loosely around his hips, stripes on full display.
He smirked at her, though it was softer than his regular expression, and she tugged on the bottom of the sheet. "Where are you going?"
"I assumed you would require sustenance upon waking," he said, holding up the covering with one hand.
"All I require is you." He hesitated, and she tugged on it again, pulling him closer. "Come on, are you going to make me beg?"
His gaze turned feral. "You were begging last night. Why not now?"
She released the sheet and threw a pillow at him. "Rude."
"Is it rude if it is the truth?"
Pursing her lips, and wanting to get the upper hand, she casually rolled over, the blankets pooling around her hips as she stretched. His pupils dilated, and this time, it was Kagome who smirked. "Fine. Go get me food. I'll just lay here until you get back. I might get bored while you're gone, though—" She squeaked as the sheet dropped, and he flipped her onto her stomach, pinning her to the bed.
"You are lucky your scent is so intoxicating, or I would have to punish you for your audacity, Kagome," he promised darkly.
She wriggled against him. "You could do that anyway," she taunted, humming in satisfaction as he grabbed a fistful of her hair, forcing her body to arch as he pushed inside her.
"I will endeavour to fulfill your every wish until my debt is repaid, Kagome." It wasn't long until they were both gasping for air, but she knew he would make good on his promise, regardless of how many lifetimes they spent together.
