Tape carefully examined the hole on his chest. "Yeah...I'd say tat's a busted plate. Hang on a sec. I gotta grab meh tools." He turned around. "HP! Git ya dirty little truck over 'ere!"
"Truck?" Olivia asked.
"We've been here for less than a month," Olly said, rubbing his temples, "and Hole Punch already has a driver's license?"
"He's had it fer a while. How else do ya think he'd git around teh desert? Walkin'?"
Olly inhaled heavily. "He's an art supply, Tape. Why does he need a driver's license?!"
Hole Punch pulled up next to them. "Toolbox, ri-?"
A fair-skinned, blond haired, male shoved Hole Punch's face away. He was wearing a red coat with a golden pin of Olly's insignia hanging off the collar. A certain spark resided in his red eyes. The ends of his hair were dyed the colors you'd most likely see in a colored pencil set, the rest of it layered like pencil shavings.
"Zat boy!" His French accent was so heavy, he convinced Izuku for a minute he was from his world and not the Mushroom Kingdom. "He'z so...so...plain! He iz ze perfect model for my art!" He squealed like a fangirl. "Let me draw you, plain boy!"
Izuku looked around. "Me?"
He nodded quickly. He came from the dirty brown truck. "Yes, you! Look at you! Zose eyes are in ze most perfect placement! Zat hair almost makes me jealous! Look at zose perfectly symmetrical curls!"
"[Crrrp...]" Olive muttered.
"Keep your tiny mouth shut!" He whipped around to face Olive. "Ah, wait. You uh...don't have ze mouth." His face reddened. "Ah...#$&%."
"Apologies for meeting Colored Pencils like this," Olly said. "He's been on a quest for the 'perfect model' and I guess your plain style is just what he was looking for."
Izuku was so confused he was speechless.
Tape tossed a light purple toolbox at Olive's feet. "Ight. Let's see what I can do to help yeh." He pried Olive's chest plate open and inhaled sharply through his teeth. "Oof. Tat's pretty bad, boi. What'd ya do, stab yarself wit an axe or somethin'?"
"[Clssssz enf...]"
Tape pulled out a handful of broken cords. Olive looked horrified. "Relax, boi. Dey weren't tat important if ya didn't die or somethin' when dey were cut."
Colored Pencils turned his paper around to reveal a horrifyingly-accurate drawing of Izuku. "Well? I think I got your good side, no?"
"That's...really thoughtful...Thanks." Izuku accepted it. "Looks almost...like a picture...But you can um...see the pencil lines..."
He gave Izuku a thumbs-up.
"Ah, dere we go. Ya voicebox." Tape tore it out. "Nah, can't fix dat. I'll git ya a new one." He snapped his fingers twice. "CP, git ova 'ere."
"Coming, Tape." Colored pencils went over and squatted next to him.
"What is he doing?" Izuku asked.
"Asking Colored pencils for help, obviously," Olly answered. "Colored pencils in an android here, so he would know how the voice box thing and all that works." Olly chuckled nervously. "I, on the other hand, have little to no know-how of electronics and that kind of thing. That's part of the reason how I crashed that kart and broke both of my legs..."
"You what?"
"Done-o-rama." Tape slammed the chest plate shut. "And I got ya friend a new plate too. Tell 'im to be more careful next time, 'cause I ain't fixin' him again." Tape dropped his tools back into the toolbox and picked it up. "Bye." He hopped into Hole Punch's truck, Colored Pencils doing so as well, and Hole Punch drove off.
Olive straightened his stance, clearing his throat. "Now that I'm all repaired...I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner but...I'm an android created with the purpose of destroying the heroes of this world. My master uh...Master, sent Mimi and I to keep a close eye on you all. Mimi only attacked you all because I deprecated Master's orders. Now he's going to kill me..."
"Not on our watch!" Olivia cheered. "Your master's going to have to go through us if he wants to get to you!"
"Great, because that's just what he wants. He wants to kill all of the heroes, starting with everyone at this school."
"Wait," Ochaco said, "why everyone at UA first?"
Olive shrugged. "But it's bad news for you and I. And now that's he's mad, there's no escape of fate."
"I still don't trust you," Bakugou snapped.
"That's fair. Mimi and I had a plan of killing Olivia then-and-there onstage but I decided to...not."
"What? You were going to kill me?!"
"We were planning it to look like a stage accident. I was supposed to be the one to kill you from offstage but..." He hugged his knees, Izuku hearing the quiet clanking of the gears inside his legs. "I've made a big mistake. I put you all in danger. I am so, so, sorry."
Olly sat down next to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, Olive. We'll be sure to protect you from him. You can trust us." He placed his free hand on his chest, giving Olive a gentle smile.
"Oh, trust me when I say you don't want to meet him. He sounds like a horrible person."
"'Sounds?' You mean you haven't seen him yet?"
"Or met. He made sure to stay away from me for a reason I don't know."
"Is he the reason you don't have feelings for me anymore?"
"Ye-Wait. You knew about that?!"
Olly chuckled softly. "I overheard you telling Izuku about it."
"Great, and I managed to embarrass myself too..."
"Hey, it's okay! Not everybody's the same. After all, our father's bisexual."
"Is he?" Olivia asked.
Olly nodded. "He told me. Then I research-dumped everything about the LG TV-"
"LGBTQ," Izuku corrected.
"-Community after that," Olly finished. "Sadly, I am straight. Sorry."
"Why are you being so nice to me? I almost killed your sister."
"Olivia taught me to see the good in people, despite how bad they act. After all, that's what she did with me. Trust me, I was worse than you. I almost killed her on multiple occasions, threw two people off a bridge; killing them, and attempted Patricide. Trust me, your's is nothing compared to what I've done."
"And you were redeemed?"
"Pretty unbelievable, huh? But that's Olivia for you. She could help me, I can help you, Mimi, and your master-"
"No way are you helping him!" Izuku exclaimed. "He sounds bad. It's like saying you can redeem Shiguraki! Not going to happen."
"Who's Shiguraki...?"
"Okay, that was a bad example. But you get my point! He's impossible, so you shouldn't even try."
"And why should I let you tell me what to do? After all, last I checked, you are technically under me, Izuku."
Izuku had no argument, and instead crossed his arms and let out a huff. "Don't say I didn't warn you."
"Oh, Izuku. You need to lighten up a little. After all, we don't know Olive's master. He could be entirely different from what we know." He stood and helped Olive up. "So you shouldn't just assume things about people you don't know. Can you promise me that, Izuku? Since you like making promises so much."
"Wait..."
"Yeah, I figured out what your little 'pinky-cross' meant. So thanks for the trickery, Izuku."
"Izuku, you didn't!" Olivia said. "You know how he is with promises, right?"
"Oh, he knows. I told him." He faced back to Olive. "Do you have somewhere to stay?"
Olive shook his head. "Besides where Master is, no."
"You can stay with Iida, if it's alright with him. I'll have to ask him."
"Thank you, Olls."
"Olls? Is that what you call me?"
Olive's face reddened. "I'm so sorry! I can stop if you want me to!"
"No, no! You're fine. It's kind of cute, and not weird. So you can call me that if you want..." Olly looked back at Izuku. "Look, I'm sorry for getting so upset, but I already told you about the whole 'promise' thing and thought you actually cared enough to understand. But I see you truly don't."
"Olly no, that's not what I meant by that."
Olly held up his hand to silence him. "Just don't, Izuku. And let me earn your trust back on my own."
