Olive was on-edge all week long, and Izuku could see it. Olive was worrying about his master's arrival, and had actually begun tearing out strands of his hair because of the stress. Izuku was actually beginning to worry for him, as Olly's comfort didn't seem to be helping. Thankfully, Olly had begun to speak to Izuku again, mostly it being a simple 'hello.' But that was good news that Olly was beginning to trust him again. Olive seemed to know when impending doom was coming, because his hair-pulling got worse as the weeks progressed and he actually started talking to himself. By the time the month ended, Olive wouldn't leave anyone's side.
"Oni-kami, you need to stop being so clingy," Todoroki said. "You're preventing Tenya from walking."
"B-but I can't. I have to make sure he doesn't k-kill me."
"Let go of his leg, Oni-kami."
"Is Olive some sort of doomsday clock?" Kaminari asked.
"Yeah, I'm surprised he didn't go bald from how much he was pulling out his hair." Kirishima agreed.
Olive sparked but quickly recovered. "He's here. Oh *&$%, he's here. He's here, he's here, he's here." He laughed like a maniac. "We're all going to die! And it's my fault! Woe is me and the rest of the world!"
"Oh, shut up already, Olive. You were already annoying."
Izuku looked around to see who spoke. His gaze went up to a person floating above them. They were too far to make out.
"Is that him?" Izuku asked.
"I don't know. Why don't you go and ask him? After all, you had me tell you where he was going to appear so you can have a fistfight with someone with the power of a god!"
"I'm glad you know that much, Ducky!" They floated down closer to Izuku and his friends.
He was giant. Izuku was convinced he was some sort of clown or jester based off of his style of clothing. The black shirt was covered by a yellow and purple striped poncho, the pants also black and puffy, and the shoes matched everything else in color, Izuku finding the pointed part to be a bit much. He had no arms, just floating hands clothed in black gloves. His hat matched his poncho, the purple stripes bearing small, golden bells on the ends. His mask was black on the left side and the right side white. The left eye was yellow and the other black. Izuku was unsure if it was part of the mask or not.
"Hey there, Ducky. Long time no see?"
"Ducky?" Olive asked.
"I thought I ordered you to shut up."
"Bu-" Olive jolted back, sparks coming from his neck and his head spinning out of control.
He clicked his tounge at Olive. "You were made to follow orders, Ducky. If you don't, well..."
Once Olive fixed his head, Olive's master held out his palm, holding a shadow version of Olive. The head began spinning out of control, then popped off, a spring replacing his neck.
He crushed it. "You'll short circuit, Ducky."
"Ducky?" Olly questioned next.
He sighed. "Must I tell you all what happened to me?" His left eye twitched. "Alright...Fine. Since you all want to know so much-"
A bush rustled. He whipped around and fired a purple beam at it. The bush caught fire and the cat inside burned to a crisp.
He twitched again. "I guess I'm a little on-edge. Like expected when I've been trapped in the Underwhere for years!" He twitched again. "Or was it days?"
"Explain, please?" Olly said.
"Fine, Mr. Impatient! I'll tell you my story!" He cleared his throat. "To start, I'm the Master of Dimensions, Pleaser of Crowds, Dimentio!"
"Dimen...tee-o..." Olly said slowly.
"After I...horribly failed against Mario, they banished me in the Underwhere. I was still alive, trapped as a Super Dimentio with the Chaos Heart inside of me still."
"Wait, Super Dimentio? Chaos Heart?"
"Are you going to interrupt me every five seconds, or are you going to let me talk like you wanted?" He twitched again.
"Sorry."
"You better be! Anyhow...I was there for a while. Days, months, years, I don't know. I wanted to get out so badly. One day, I tested the door, and it was unlocked. Queen Jaydes didn't even know I was there! I went to leave, but she caught onto my plan and stripped the Chaos Heart from me. At least...she thought she did. I still have it, but only half of it." He twitched, hands trembling. A small section of his black hair fell in front of his face, so he tucked it back into his hat. Izuku noticed that the mask moved when he spoke. "Don't mind the twitches. You kind of start...losing your mind when you're trapped in a place with no passage of time for possible years! How long has it been since 2007...?"
Olly counted on his fingers silently for a minute, then held up six of them. "16 years. You were stuck there for 16 years."
"That was rhetorical! I know now how long it's been!"
Olly flinched back. "Wait, you said Mario. You fought him?"
"And why do you care? But yes. I did."
"I knew you were from my world! You look kind of flat compared to everybody else here."
Dimentio stared at his hand. "Stupid paper world affected me bad."
"Why don't you have arms?" Kaminari asked.
"Oh you know, the usual. Trying to stop a collapsing, unstable portal. Thanks to Mario, I lost my arms, my life, my sanity!" He tucked his hair away again.
Izuku saw his gaze shift to the book under Olly's arm. The book that held the paper world that he originated from. Dimentio's smirk grew wider.
"So, you thought it was a good idea to bring that thing?"
"Huh?"
Dimentio snapped and it vanished from Olly's arms. It reappeared in his open hand, open on the page Olly used the Magic Circle on. He had been using his origami father as a bookmark for that page. Dimentio grabbed the Origami Craftsman by the head.
"Huh." He eyed Olive. "Hey, Ducky. You want to help me with something?"
"N-" Sparks came from the bends in his arms, legs, and neck this time. He was forced to agree. He sadly went over to his master.
Dimentio put the book in Olive's hands. "Burn it. Let's have some fun with these guys."
"No!" Olly went to stop Olive, but everybody sank to their knees in the ground. Below them were deep purple portals that were shut tightly around their legs. "Olive, don't do this! Remember what you said? You said you were different now, right?"
"I'm sorry, Olls." He held out a lighter to the book. "But this would cost me my life, and that's the only thing I have." He light the lighter. "I'm so sorry, Olls."
The book burned easy, to Izuku's surprise. Olive looked so sad, but as long as Dimentio was there, there was nothing he could do.
"You just made me kill millions of people."
"Aww! Daddy's little arsonist! Say, Ducky, do you want to see who this little bookmark is?"
The Origami Craftsman unfolded and turned back into himself. He landed harshly on his hands and knees.
"A Toad? Here? You must know Olly then."
He immediately reacted. "Olly? That's my son! You better not have hurt him!"
"Relax, old man. He's safe with me. Why don't you turn around?"
The Origami Craftsman cried upon seeing Olly. "Y-you're safe! I was so worried about you when everything suddenly got dark."
"I folded you, I'm so sorry!"
"Oh, I'm sure it was just an accident."
"Ew!" Dimentio mocked. "Family bonding! I feel myself getting weaker! Blech." He held up his hand. "Say, you want to be helpful? Then you should just sit still!"
He snapped, the Origami Craftsman knowing it wasn't a good sign and quickly standing and taking off running. He reached out for Olly, who also reached out, his hand coming close to Olly's before he was engulfed in stone. Olly's hands began shaking as the Origami Craftsman floated over to Dimentio.
He chuckled. "See why you don't mess with magic? Besides, I'll just get rid of Olive later, so I might kill you all first as a way of-Oh? What's with Izuku? His organs are flat...Let's fix that, shall we?" He snapped again and Izuku had a wave of pain shoot up his entire body.
"Oh, hey! Thanks for th-ah, ah! Oh...Everything hurts."
"Y-you..." Olivia finally mustered. "You just petrified our father...You just petrified our father!" Izuku saw her eyes glow yellow.
Olly wasn't the least bit mad.
He was crying.
Olivia started trying to pull herself from the portal.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you, Princess." Dimentio was using the hair of the frozen Origami Craftsman to clean out his teeth. "You'll rip for sure."
"That's what you think!" She pried open the portal and jumped out as it slammed shut.
"What?! How did you do that?"
"I won't let you hurt the Origami Craftsman!" She pulled Olly out, his eyes glowing purple when she touched him. "That's our father!"
He looked at the Origami Craftsman. "So you want to fight for him? Okay. Don't expect me to play fair."
Olly wiped the tears from his face, strangely quiet.
"Well, us either!" Olivia warned. She grabbed her brother's hand and they summoned a Magic Circle together. "You'll pay for this, Dimentio!"
Purple mist gathered by Olly and Izuku saw his silhouette grow larger. He saw Olivia's unfold and begin to refold, but he didn't know what she was doing. He saw Dimentio look kind of surprised at this.
Olly, now in his Giga Form, swiped the mist away. "Dimentio..."
Olivia was a giant hammer being held by Olly's 1,000-Fold Arms. The color pallet was still the same, her crown sitting atop the head of the hammer.
"Hey, wait a second..."
Olly took no hesitation to smack Dimentio upside the head with Olivia, sending him flying into a wall. Dimentio smirked.
"A fight it is!" He held out his hands. "Eat this, like the final feast of your life!" He fired that purple beam from before at them.
Olly smacked it away and charged for Dimentio. He ducked under the Olivia hammer and grabbed his hat quickly. He shoved it on, the bells jingling.
"Watch the mask, brat!"
Izuku saw Olivia eye Dimentio's chest.
"Olly! We need to get that Chaos Heart out of his chest!"
"I read you loud and clear, Livi..." He slammed Dimentio into the floor with the Olivia hammer and stomped a foot onto his head. He folded his hand into a sword and aimed it at his chest.
How was Giga Olly so calm? That question rung in Izuku's head as Dimentio fought him off. Giga Olly was Olly's rage, right? So why wasn't he acting like before?
"Comment faites-vous cela?!" Dimentio shouted.
Izuku looked up right when Olly stabbed Dimentio directly through the chest. Olly yanked his hand out, holding a pitch-black figure in the shape of a cartoonish-broken heart.
Izuku was a little pleased it was cartoonish, actually.
That would have been horrifying otherwise.
I mean, it already was, but it would have been worse.
Olly's hand started to shake and he dropped Olivia, who unfolded before touching the ground. She shook the glow off.
"Olly? Are you okay? What happened? Why are you giant again?"
Olly started screaming as he returned to normal size.
Izuku gasped at what he saw. The dark heart-figure was coloring Olly's arm to match the pitch-black color of it. Olly was unable to let it go.
"Olly!"
The entirety of Class 1-A was shot out of the portals and they closed below them. Once landing, Izuku ran over to Olly.
"What's going on with his arm?"
"Help me...please...!" It was creeping up his face now.
"I'll save you!" Izuku grabbed Olly's hand and forced him to drop it without touching the figure itself.
The black on Olly faded away as he stood back up. "This must be what's left of the Chaos Heart." He floated it up to him. It was still beating.
Olly went over to Dimentio, who was now roughly the same height as Izuku, and who was bleeding black blood onto the floor. "Ol...ly...Give...me...the...heart..." He weakly reached for it. "I...can't...live...without...it...Please...Olly..."
Izuku noticed the expression change on Olly and immediately stopped him. "Olly! Are you an idiot? He just tried to kill us! Why would you just give it to him?!"
"Izuku! You should be ashamed of yourself! He's dying on the ground, and you want me to let him?! He's just a mortal! You have disappointing stereotypes for Heroes. You just resort to violence all the time and turn down the option of actually being nice. Maybe I shouldn't have trusted you after all."
"Olly! He's literally insane! Don't you remember what happened with Mind Weaver? Dimentio would do just the exact same thing!"
"Izuku. Leave me alone. Maybe you should consider other people first before jumping to conclusions like this." He crouched down to Dimentio's level. "The heart is dying. The beat is slowing."
"Give it...to me...Olly..." He wriggled his fingers at Olly's direction. "Please..." Black blood streamed out of his mouth.
Olly hovered it over the hole in Dimentio's chest. "Alright. This might hurt. Are you sure?"
"Ye...yes..."
"Olly, no!" Izuku called. Olivia held him back.
It vanished from Olly's hands and Dimentio twitched. Olly moved away as Dimentio rose from the ground. He wiped the blood from his mouth.
"Wait, did it actually work?" Izuku asked.
"Th-" Dimentio started before a crack sounded and the black half of his mask slid of his face.
He was surprisingly human. His pale skin had visible veins, as Izuku could see black through his face in certain spots that followed the flow of a vein. His eye color was yellow. The other side also slid off, and Izuku saw that eye was black.
"M...my mask..." He looked down at his shaking hands. "Piper...How could you do this...? And to think I was actually going to leave you all alone..." Black tears streamed down his face. He stood.
Izuku took a step back. "Olly...I don't like the sound of this."
Dimentio screamed and tossed his hat on the ground. He stomped on it a few times and whipped his head in Izuku's direction. "You."
His hair had a slight curl to it, white roots peeking through the black and yellow streaks. It was brought back into a ponytail, being held in place with a red hair tie.
"This is your fault." He walked closer to Izuku, pointing an accusing finger at him. "You'll pay for this."
"Wait, I didn't do anything!" Izuku backed away from him.
He held out a small, green sprout. "A Floro Sprout. Do you want to see what it does?"
"No, not really!"
He held it between his pointer and middle finger. "Well, it's too late now, Izuku." He flicked it Izuku.
Izuku attempted to whack it away, but it stuck to his hair and a headache followed.
"What is this thing?! Get it...off..."
"Izuku," he snapped his fingers, "finish off the rest of these fools." He floated higher so nobody could reach him. "Let's see you work up the courage to fight your friend, Class 1-A. Ciao for now!" He flew away.
Izuku wrapped a bandana around his neck and finished the look with a black eye mask. Why he had those on him already, nobody knew.
"Izuku?" Olly asked. "What did he do?"
He pointed his hand at Olly. "Shut up. I'm here for Kachaan." He folded his arms. "Come out, Kachaan. You can't hide forever!"
"Shut up, Deku!" Bakugou prepared for battle. "I'll rip that stupid plant from your head!"
"Let's fight then! And after I finish you off, I'll do Olly next!"
"Why is it always me?!" Olly cried. Olivia pat his shoulder.
Olive sparked again. "He's gone, for now." He grabbed Izuku by the bandana. "You fight me, Zuzu."
"Okay then!" He winked. He brought back his arm. "Delaware smash...Full Power!" An x-shape crossed over his face, the pattern also appearing on his arm.
He slammed his fist into Olive's face, forcing the android away from him and sending his head spinning. Bakugou responded with a full-powered explosion to Izuku's face.
After a short battle of Izuku being overpowered by the classmates he knew well, one last blast from Bakugou sent Izuku to the ground. The Floro Sprout popped off, landed on the ground, and withered. Izuku got back up, dusted himself off, and rubbed his head.
"What happened?"
"You failed is what happened!" Dimentio screamed. "Are none of my minions reliable?!"
"Master, this is far enough!" Olive fought. "Mind controlling Zuzu? What's next for you, huh?"
Dimentio eyed Olive's chest. "Oh? That black mark...It couldn't be..."
Olive looked down at his chest to find a dark aura coming from it. "Ugh?!" He covered it with his hands, it seeping through his fingers.
Dimentio laughed like a maniac. "I knew it, but I wasn't sure! You have the other half of the Chaos Heart in you! Queen Jaydes thought she could keep it away from me."
Olive sank through a portal and reappeared next to Dimentio. "Master? What are you doing?"
"Taking back what's mine." He held out his hand to the crowd. "Who here is ready for the true power of the Chaos Heart? Izuku? How about the Origami Twins and their dad?"
Olivia held onto Olly's arm. "You wouldn't!"
"I would, and I did." He grabbed Olive by the head and lined up the dark spots on the both of them. "Get ready for your final curtain, because your future's about to change!"
"He's reuniting the Chaos Heart!" Olly said.
They were both engulfed in a dark mist.
"Ahahaha! The pain!" Dimentio screamed. "Oh my gosh! This is so painful!"
Izuku saw a spark through the mist as the shadow inside of it began to grow. "Guys? This doesn't look good!"
"If they had the pieces inside them, that means..." Olivia started. "Oh no. The Chaos Heart reuniting would kill the both of them!"
There was a loud thud inside the dark cloud, and a pair of eyes lit up inside. "Hello, Zuzu."
