Izuku and Katsuki both get out of their dorm rooms to look for each other and meet at the halfway point between their rooms. They at the same time say "Will you go on a date with me, I'll pay. What? What do you mean you'll pay? You do so much for me already." They then explain why they think the other does so much for them at the same time "You're taking etiquette classes for me" Izuku says while Katsuki says "You saved me and you told me you secrets." They then looked surprised at each other and then laughed "Why don't we split the bill" They both say and shook in agreement. They (after getting changed into their clothes from I-Island) went out for dinner without getting permission first. At the diner (red lobster) they ordered you guess it, lobster. Where they both say "You look good tonight, I don't mean you don't always look good because you always do look good and..." They then laughed at their own behaver "Let's not make this a big deal, it's just two people going out on a date. Nothing uncommon about that, I want to have fun tonight." Izuku says then Katsuki seats back in his chair while crossing his arms behind his head and says "But I'm already having fun, anytime with you is a good time." Only for Izuku to say "I think the same way about you." They then kissed while in the middle of kissing their waiter arrives with their food and says "You lobsters sir and oh I didn't realize I was interrupting something." "Don't worry about it, we can do this anytime we want like right now." Izuku sayed as she started feeding Katsuki who in turn fed Izuku as well, once doing it at the same time. Once they were out of dinner walking back to the dorms with Katsuki's arm around Izuku's shoulder "I had a good time tonight, what about you?" Izuku said, only for Katsuki to say "Me? I HAD A GREAT TIME." Izuku laughed at his behavior, they then arrived at the dorms "So, were here. Is there anything you want to do to me?" Katsuki said, only for Izuku to say "I believe there is." And began to kiss Katsuki, only to be interrupted before she could kiss him by Aizawa opening the door and saying "You two in, now" They (Katsuki and Izuku) are put under house arrest for leaving without permission which they both think it was worth it.
While taking out the trash Izuku encounters a face on the wall "You want to put the trash in the cans on the sidewalk." The face says, before Izuku can question what's going on the face disappears as quickly as it appeared. Only to appear on the ground moments later which is when Izuku asks it "What are you?" Only to get answered "You will be answered soon enough." Then disappears again. After three days Izuku and Katsuki hand in their handwritten apologies and resumed normal classes. Izuku asks her fellow classmates "What did we miss when we were gone?" Only for none of them to answer "Typical." Katsuki says unimpressed by his fellow classmates's behavior. On that day Aizawa introduces to the class, the big three (the school's top three aspiring heroes). Their names are Mirio (who Izuku recognizes as the person belonging to the face she met), Tamaki and Nejire. Aizawa states "Introduce yourselves, starting from you." he said referring to Tamaki who simply stared at the wall out of stage fright while saying "I want to go home." This got Nejire to introduce them (herself and Tamaki) "Hi, I'm Nejire and this boy is Tamaki and all three of us are here to talk to you guys about Hero Work Studies and whoa. You guys have got interesting things about you, huh. Like you frog girl, just what type of frog are you? You mask man, why the mask? And you..." Only to be interrupted by Aizawa saying "Enough of that." Mirio tells a joke in order to break the ice but fails as the class gets the joke and all the class start to think 'Whoa, the big three have such weird personalities.' "The best way for you guys to learn about work studies is to fight me." Mirio said and so fight him they did (with the exaptation of Shoto and Katsuki) with Izuku who tried to capture him with Cloud Capture (a cloud that captures people) but her's and everyone else's attacks were foiled by Mirio dropping through the floor, leaving his clothes behind. He then appears behind them easily defeats more than half of them while screaming "POWER!" Shoto watches in shock while Aizawa explains "He's the closet to being the number one hero." referring to Mirio "By the way why are you and Katsuki not fighting." Aizawa asked, only for Shoto to explain "We didn't pass the license exam, remember." The remaining conscious student discuss what Mirio's quirk is "It's a phase quirk." One student says, only for another to say "No, it's a warp quirk." "Guys, it doesn't matter what he's quirk is. All that matters if we defeat him and we do that together." Izuku says and they (the remaining students) ready a counterattack. Mirio appears behind them but Izuku has caught on to his style and strikes him with a kick to the head, only for Mirio to phase through Izuku's body and defeat her with a super move called "Touch Eyeball Crush." Mirio says and then subdues the rest of class 1A "You need to learn hold back." Tamaki says
Afterwards, Mirio says "Sorry about being naked, it's a side effect of my quirk. So, do you have a better idea about workplace studies?" "No, why would we? All we did was get beaten up by your amazing quirk." All the students from 1A says, only for Mirio to ask "Do you think my quirk is strong?" "Yes." The class answers, only for Nejire to explain "His quirk is called permeation, it allows him to go through any surface including the floor and when he deactivates it, it makes him repel himself out of the ground at top speeds." The students commend Mirio for having a strong quirk, only for Mirio to say "It's only that strong because of workplace studies, you see when I'm using my quirk, I can't use any of my senses as everything is going through me and that's why I had to get smart and predict my opponent's movements, something I learned how to do through workplace studies. So, you see why the workplace studies are of such importance?" "Yes." The whole class answered "At workplace studies, you will be treated like sidekick rather than guests and you will go through some crazy events that will scare you but that's why you must go as these events will make you grow stronger." The class applauds Mirio's speech as they realize what the work studies could do for their skills. Shoto and Katsuki watches from the stands and both worry about being left behind. Aizawa tells his students to "Thank the big three before they go." Nejire asks Mirio "Did any student stand out to you?" Only for Mirio to answer "Yah, that Izuku kid. She will fit in great working with sir." Later the girls discuss the workplace studies with Izuku saying "I wonder if gran Torino will take me." But when she calls him, he says "I can't, I'm working with the police to track the league of villains. But you should talk to All Might about his old sidekick, Sir Nighteye."
Izuku asks All Might "Can I go work for Sir Nighteye as my workplace study?" Only for All Might to say "Kid, I don't think that's necessary besides me and him aren't exactly on good terms." "Please you got to reconsider, if not for you then for me." Izuku says "Fine but I won't be the one to introduce you two." All Might said, leaving Izuku to wonder what he meant until she heard over the intercom "Mirio Togata, please come to the teacher's lounge." 'I guess he knows Sir Nighteye.' Izuku thought referring to Mirio, that's when Mirio arrived and All Might said to Mirio "I need you to introduce Izuku to Sir Nighteye, I would but me and Sir Nighteye are not exactly on good terms." Mirio asks Izuku "What kind of hero you want to be?" Only for Izuku to say "I want to be the hero whose smile says "I am here and everything goanna be fine", I want to be the type of hero who saves everyone with a smile and..." Only to be interrupted by Mirio saying "Woah, woah, woah. I heard enough alright; I'll introduce you to Sir Nighteye, I can already tell you're going to be a great hero Izuku."
That weekend, Izuku leaves with Mirio for Sir Nighteye's agency "Now I got to warn you, Sir is very strict and you must do your best to make him laugh. You must do well to impress him on your own, so do it. I believe in you." Mirio says, Izuku enters the agency and is shocked to find Bubble Girl being tortured by tickles and gets glared at by Sir Nighteye. In an attempt to lighten the mood Izuku pulls out her face impression of All Might. Mirio is shocked by Izuku's plan and Sir Nighteye isn't impressed and asks "Are you making fun of All Might? Because his wrinkles are all different than yours, so I suggest you leave." "But I'm not impressing regular All Might, I'm impressing him following the Vinegar Riverback incident." Izuku says, they (Izuku and Sir Nighteye) discuss the incident and the interview All might gave after "Were you testing me?" Sir Nighteye asks Izuku, Mirio releases Bubble Girl from the tickle machine and Mirio says "I'm impressed with Izuku's first impression with Sir as she got through it despite the fact, she didn't get him to laugh." Sir Nighteye asks Izuku to "Present me with your contract and the difference between the workplace studies and the week-long internships is that workplace studies give you more time to develop your skills." Only for Izuku to say "I want to participate so I can stand out and..." But was interrupted by Sir Nighteye refusing to stamp her paper and saying "I see no benefit to bringing you on like for one, how do you plan on being useful? I challenge you to prove your worth using actions, take the stamp from me within three minutes, so you can make it official yourself. Mirio and Bubble Girl, leave." 'Izuku doesn't stand a chance against Sir using his all-seeing quirk.' Mirio thought, after locking eyes with Izuku and touching her face Sir Nighteye begins the challenge. Izuku tries to capture him with Cloud Capture but he easily side steps it and then Izuku tries tackling him with Full Cowl but again Sir Nighteye sidesteps her, she then tries kicking his legs from behind put he moves forward at the last second without even looking. This went on for a minute with Izuku trying to stop him with One For All or/and Cloud Capture but neither nor both were working, "I admit I am disappointed in All Might's successor, Mirio should've been the one to receive One For All." Sir Nighteye said, surprising Izuku and making her nervous as she begins to panic. "I refuse to acknowledge you, simply because there is someone better then you who should've gotten it." Sir Nighteye said, Izuku remembers All Might's encouraging words and all the things she went through to get here. Doing so resolves her confidence Izuku propels herself around the room at high speeds trying to outmaneuver him while usings different spells upon spells "Ice Walk." This made the floor icy "Glue Trap." She said that caused the floor right under where sir nighteye is going to step on became a glue trap but he avoids it at the last minute. Sir Nighteye says to Izuku "You're the poor man's Gran Torino and that's saying something considering you have magic on your side, real magic. You got no chance of stamping your paper." The more the test goes on the less impressed Sir Nighteye becomes and that's saying something because he wasn't impressed with Izuku to begin with. Izuku purposely knocks some books over in hopes of knocking him off his game but this doesn't change anything and the three minutes are up. Sir Nighteye says "You had only one plan and that failed miserably which made you clumsy." Only for Izuku to fire back "No, my plan was not to harm any of your All Might merchandise and I didn't, did I?" Sir Nighteye then looked around the room and saw like she said none of his merchandise had been hurt during the scuffle, heck none were even tampered with in the slightest. This impresses Sir Nighteye who lets Mirio and Bubble Girl back into the room where Sir Nighteye announces that "I will be taking in Izuku something I always was going to do and you're not useless Izuku but I still haven't accepted you. I'm taking you in to make sure you know who's truly worthy of the power by making sure you work alongside pros." Only for Izuku to say "Thank you, Sir." And stamps the contract.
The next day workplace studies begins, they (Izuku and Mirio) begin patrolling while contacting their investigation into the Shie Hassaikai (lead by Overhaul) which their believe is in contact with the league of villains. Only during their patrol they run into a little girl named Eri who came out of an alleyway, suddenly the man they been looking for, Overhaul comes out of the same alleyway. He says "Come here Eri, I'm sorry that my girl was a barter to you." Not believing him because Izuku thinks he's part of the Shie Hassaikai Izuku says "Not From The Roof, Tell The Truth." "She's not my daughter, I'm not even biologically related to her. What I am is her guardian who does horrific experiments to her in order to procure an antidote to quirks." Overhaul said only to realize too late what he said, he immediately went into attack mode for Eri, only for Izuku to try capture him with Cloud Capture only for him to dissipate the cloud with his hand. Then he immediately went in for the attack only for Mirio to appear behind him and kick out his feet from under Overhaul who tried to hit Mirio in retaliation only for his fist to go through him and to get shot in the back with Laser Shoot from Izuku. Overhaul then moved the walls to attack Izuku only to get hit in the back by Mirio. Overhaul would've retaliated but that's when the police arrive (who Mirio called immediately when they (Izuku and Mirio) first saw Overhaul) "I will get you back Eri, count on it." Overhaul said then blocked (with the walls) both Izuku and Mirio. By the time Mirio phased through the blockage, Overhaul had already dug himself (using his quirk) into the sewers and had disappeared.
"That was real smart of you Mirio to call the police and get his confession on recording, Izuku you did nothing." Sir Nighteye said "Hey, I only got the confession thanks to Izuku and her quick thinking with that spell, so the one you should be really thanking is her." Mirio said "Well in any case, you two should be glad of yourselves because thanks to you this little girl was saved and if that's not enough to make you proud then the fact she can lead us to the Shie Hassaikai will. Now child where is the Shie Hassaikai." Sir Nighteye said "Why do you need to know? You're goanna turn me in, aren't you? Oh no, you are. DON'T TURN ME BACK IN! I PROMISE TO BE A GOOD GIRL, I PROMISE!" Eri said while crying "We not going to turn you in, think about it why would we save you if we were just going to turn you back in anyways? Wouldn't that be pointless." Izuku said "I don't, I don't. Huh, I didn't think of it that way. I guess it would be pointless but what about him, he scares me." Eri said referring to Sir Nighteye who in turn went and said "How could you be scared of me? When I do this." he said then got a candy from his pocket while saying "Surprise, Eri. Happy Day." "Woah, thank you." Eri said while smiling for the first time. She then grabbed the candy and ate it while saying "Thank you, Mr. I guess I misjudged you." Bringing a smile to Sir Nighteye's face, which then quickly disappeared when he remembered to say which he did say "Anyways about the Shire Hassaikai base." "Oh, yah." She said then gulped her candy and went on to tell them where the Shire Hassaikai base is.
Later "All Might, why didn't you tell me that someone else was considered for One For All?" Izuku says "Because I wasn't the one to consider Mirio, Sir Nighteye was. You see with his ability of Foresight he sometimes thinks he knows better than everybody else even when he's not using that and one time he saw my future. That I would die in a future battle, I disagreed with him. We fought and things have been awkward between us ever since, things intensified when I didn't chose his pick for One For All. You see for a while I thought that what he saw about me dying was fate, then I met you and I made a promise to your mom to always watch over you. So, Izuku will you fight fate with me?" All Might says to which Izuku says "Yes, maybe you can get Sir Nighteye to use Foresight on you again to see if anything changed." Only for All Might to say "No, I'm not ready to face Sir Nighteye again."
The next day after school Izuku, Ochaco, Eijiro and Tsuyu (who all have different agencies) are surprised to find themselves going the same way, to Sir Nighteye's agency. "What are you guys doing at my workplace agency?" Izuku asked, only to get the same exact answer out of everyone "Because my agency is helping with this one." To their surprise many pro heroes are there as well including Fat Gum, Ryukyu and Gran Torino to minor heroes like Rock Lock, Kesagiri Man and Mr. Brave. Even Eraser Head and the big three are there for the meeting between heroes hosted by Sir Nighteye. Neijire asks Ryukyu "What's going on?" "We been included in a special case, remember." Ryukyu responds, that's when Sir Nighteye announces "We will be discussing the Shire Hassaikai, thanks to recent intel me and my workplace studies got. We now know the exact location of the Shire Hassaikai base and what they're doing there. They're making an antidote for quirks there." "And it's on the streets as I and my workplace studies found out." Fat Gum said, only for Sir Nighteye to say "Then I think we're all in agreement here, that we should go now to stop this" Everyone in the room agreed
During training with Ochaco, Eijiro and Tsuyu. Izuku remembers Aizawa telling them (Izuku, Eijiro, Ochaco and Tsuyu) that they don't have to go on this mission, only for Izuku and the others to say back at the time "We want to go, we want to bring the ones who hurt Eri into justice even if that means having a smaller roll then the big three then so be it." Back to the present it's now lunch time and Izuku is bothered with Sir Nighteye's prediction, Tenya notices Izuku in need and this prompts Tenya to say "If there's anything you want to talk about with me, you can because we're friends and heroes in-training and heroes save lives, remember." This brings Izuku to tears until she remembers that heroes don't cry. "Heroes don't cry. Thank you for the support, I really needed it." says Izuku, only for Shoto to argue that "Heroes sometimes cry too, it's to remind people that they're human too." They (Tenya and Shoto) then share some of their lunch with Izuku who gladly accepts "Thank you guys." Izuku says
Three days later in the morning, the raid on the Shire Hassaikai hideout begins and Sir Nighteye leads everyone (not including Ryukyu) inside in charge. Sir Nighteye finds a hidden panel and uses his foresight to deduce the proper code, opening a pathway to the underground labyrinth. Suddenly, more Yakuza thugs appear from underground. Centipeder and Bubble Girl act quickly to subdue them, allowing Nighteye and the others to proceed. They quickly run into a blockade that impedes their path through the underground maze. Mirio uses his Quirk to slip through the wall and confirms it was a hastily created blockade made by Overhaul's Quirk. Izuku and Red Riot (Eijiro) use their quirks to break down the wall but they're impeded yet again. Mimic uses Trigger to enhance his Quirk and merges with the walls, contorting and twisting the walls to make the pathway difficult to navigate. Tamaki panics and believes they won't be able to move forward, but Mirio encourages him and goes on ahead by himself. Mimic's Quirk can do little to halt Mirio, so he leaves him be. Tamaki gets separated from the group dealing with three bad guys on his own with Izuku and Red Riot saying "Aren't you at all worried about Tamaki, Fat Gum because we are." "Don't worry about him, he got this" Red Riot decides to trust in Tamaki, Aizawa notes "The guy behind the walls moving, there's a lack of activity here. It must be limited to one area at a time." Only for then for Mimic to target Eraser Head and strikes him using the walls, only for Fat Gum and Red Riot to push him out of the way at the last moment. The walls then begin to twist Rock Lock uses his Deadbolt super move to lock down the area around them in order to avoid being crushed by Mimic. Irinaka continues to send stone walls at the heroes but Izuku fights back by crushing the walls by using and saying "Rock Crush". Mimic realizes he has reinforcements and decides to separate all the heroes into using the walls. Izuku and Eraser Head are together, Nighteye is with the police, and Rock Lock is alone. Rock Lock is ambushed by Himiko and quickly dispatched after he's distracted by a double of her. Himiko stabs the hero and reveals that she's Himiko the gangster now, and not with the League of Villains. Eraser Head notices the noise from the other side of the wall and Izuku knocks it down with another Rock Crush. Himiko transforms herself into Rock Lock but Aizawa quickly sees through her ruse before she can attack Izuku. Eraser uses his Erasure to destroy Himiko's disguise but she still attempts to attack Izuku. Eraser Head stops her with his scarf, but she counters and stabs him in the back before escaping thanks to another wall from Mimic. Aizawa is surprised to see the League of Villains working with the Shie Hassaikai. Mimic snaps and drags everyone deeper underground as he tries to crush both heroes and villains alike. Himiko taunts Mimic and gets him riled up. He screams out with frustration, giving his location away to Izuku and the other heroes. They try to pinpoint it while avoiding Mimic's rage-induced attacks. Himiko baits Mimic into letting out a loud scream after she insults the Yakuza once again. Izuku uses Full Cowl - Shoot Style to break the roof open, revealing Mimic's body. Eraser Head nullifies Mimic's Quirk, forcing him to fall down. Sir Nighteye knocks him unconscious by throwing one of his Hyper-Density Seals and Izuku catches Mimic before he crashes into the ground. Sir Nighteye realizes the League betrayed Mimic and Sir Nighteye says that "Weve been used.". Meanwhile, Mirio has managed to catch up to Overhaul and Chronostasis. The young boss is surprised that Mirio was able to catch up so quickly. Overhaul said "Your is no hero, now die" referring to Mirio who's suddenly effected by a Quirk that disrupts his equilibrium. This power belongs to the drunken Deidoro of the Eight Bullets. Deidoro is joined by Shin, who tries to shoot Mirio with a gun. Mirio avoids it and allows the bullets to pass through him. Shin asks Mirio "What is your Quirk?" using his own power to force the hero into answering it "My quirk is Permeation, it allows me to move through objects and/or people.". Mirio realizes Shin's power and learns that he's the only one allowed to follow Overhaul's ambitions. Mirio claims "Your ambitions are corrupt if you're willing to hurt a little girl to do them." Mirio refuses to waver and takes out both Shin and Deidoro. Shin uses his power to try and break Mirio's spirit. He makes Mirio reveal Izuku was the one behind rescuing Eri. Shin claims "You're just trying to stop us to make yourself feel better." He fires off more shots, in hopes of crushing Mirio so Shin can continue walking beside the young boss. However, Mirio avoids the incoming attacks and strikes both villains with his Ultimate Move: Phantom Menace! Despite still being under the effects of Sakaki's Quirk, Mirio can move because he's always off balance using his Permeation power. He fights on because he can't stand the thought of Overhall getting his hands back on Eri. Mirio cannot waver, he cannot allow Eri to go on without smiling any longer. With overwhelming strength, Mirio defeats both villains and goes straight after the young boss and his aide. Overhaul dodges Mirio's punch, but the hero kicks Chrono away. Overhaul demands Eri return to his side, calling her diseased and claims she breaks people. Overhaul removes his gloves and uses his Quirk to break the ground apart and reshape it into stone spikes. Chronostasis gets back up and aims his gun at Mirio under orders to shoot his arm. Overhaul destroys all the spikes so his aide can get a clean shot, but Mirio hides behind his cape to force the villain into missing. Mirio slips through the ground and nearly takes Chronostasis by surprise. Mirio strikes down Overhall. "I admit you're strong Overhaul." But Mirio overpowers him and reveals that he's even stronger. Mirio uses Overhaul's real name, Kai. Shin reappears beaten and battered, but ready to support his master. Overhaul throws him the Quirk-Destroying Bullets and orders him to shoot Mirio. He knows he can't waste a shot and that Mirio will be able to avoid it. Overhall prepares to attack but Mirio throws Chronostasis's body at Overhall and breaks his arm with a single punch. A battled Overhall manages to back Mirio into a corner which is when Izuku breaks into the room and immediately goes after Overhaul. Only for the quirk erasing gun to be fired at her, only for Mirio to jump in the way at the last minute. Izuku punches Overhaul's arm and sends him flying away. Eraser Head seals Overhaul's quirk and asks Nighteye to see to the wounded. Nighteye realizes that Mirio has defeated nearly half the Eight Bullets and injured Overhaul all by himself. Sir Nighteye embraces his protégé and commends him for a job well done. With his Quirk erased, Overhaul is pushed into a corner and yells for Chrono to wake up. Chronostasis actives his Quirk of the same name and cuts Eraser Head's arm. The hero was trying to save his student, but now his body moves slower as a result of Chrono's power. Overhaul managed to heal Hari during their fight with Mirio. The aide to the young boss meant to skewer both heroes at once, but Eraser is able to push Izuku away at the last moment. Forced to blink, Eraser's power wears off on Overhaul. Overhaul creates a fissure of spikes that fill the battleground. Irate, Overhaul refuses to allow his plans to end here. He fuses with Shin and assumes a monstrous new form. "I admit that Lemillion (Mirio) was the stronger man, however, it was all for nothing." Armed with four arms, Overhaul demands the heroes return Eri! Izuku is shocked that Overhaul destroyed himself and his underling in order to fuse them both together. Overhall admits "The process was grueling, but I feel so much stronger now than I did before." Izuku notices that Chrono and Eraser Head are gone, while Lemillion is being cared for by Nighteye. Overhaul taunts Lemillion once again "You lost your heroic dreams forever for trying to save her." Referring to Izuku. Izuku and Sir Nighteye are shocked to learn that Mirio lost his quirk forever. Izuku then shouts while pointing the wand at Overhaul "Separation, Permutation" This instantly got them to separate permanently getting Sir Nighteye to say "Well, that was eas..." but was interrupted by a stab by Overhaul's spike attacks "NO!" Izuku then deeped down with the wand in hand and said "Firey Vengeance." Overhaul tried to defend himself with the floor but the blast easily blasted through the floor and hit him. Leaving him a burnt corpse, much to Izuku's horror. "What have I done?" Izuku asked while looking at herself in horror, only for Glosserick to appear out of her pocket and say "You were deeping down which was when your emotions taking over and controlling the magic, any princess would have submitted to the same fate in your shoes. In fact some have, you're not the first princess to kill especially while deeping down." Only for Izuku to say "But I, I..." Only to be interrupted by Mirio saying "You not the first hero to kill in fact I have killed, why do you think my goal is to save one million to compensate for the fact I killed someone. It was between him and me and he was putting a citizen in peril and I, I..." He finished unable to continue due to him crying "Well at least you had the excuse you were helping someone, me I was looking for vengeance. I was..." Izuku said unable to finish due to her crying and Mirio hugging her.
Later in a state of unrest Izuku told Mirio about One For All, where she got it and told him that he can have it if he wanted it. "No thanks, I don't want it. I have my own power that I'm getting back, somehow. Besides All Might chose you for a reason, try to remember that any time you decide you're not worthy because of something dumb anybody would've done even me if you hadn't beaten me to it." Izuku watched in shock while still in a state of unrest, Mirio walk away. Later at Sir Nighteye's hospital bed where Sir Nighteye and All Might had just rekindled their relationship "Healing Rain." Izuku said while pointing the wand above Sir Nighteye but the rain didn't heal him. "Glosserick, why isn't it working?" Izuku asked only for him Glosserick to answer "Might be because of that thing in him." referring to the spike in Sir Nighteye "But if we remove it, he'll instantly die and magic can't revive the dead, can it?"
