"Naruto! Naruto! WAKE UP AT ONCE, NARUTO!" shouted Kurama.
The bijuu's shouts caused the jinchuriki to jolt awake as he sat up with a startled cry.
"Ouch! What was that for, Kurama? You almost deafened me!" said Naruto.
"That might be the least of your problems. Look around you." said Kurama.
"Huh?" asked Naruto looking around, realizing he was in a forest near the bank of a river. "Where am I?"
"I don't know, but what I'm sure of is that we're not in our world anymore." said Kurama.
"What makes you say that?" asked Naruto mentally.
"I feel something different from the chakra circulating everywhere. Also, before we ended up here, I felt that same feeling all around us." said Kurama.
"Yeah, I felt it too. Mmm. I should walk around a bit. Maybe I can find someone who can help me?" asked Naruto.
"That's the smartest thing you've come up with so far." said Kurama.
"Shut up." thought Naruto before walking around the grounds.
For a while, Naruto was walking without stopping and so far he didn't find anything or anyone who could tell him where he was or what place it was.
That's when, at last, he found a yellowish brick road.
"Finally. A road. It will surely lead me to a city." said Naruto before proceeding to follow the path.
"Maybe, but don't let your guard down. We don't know what might be in this world or if they are friendly." said Kurama.
Naruto was walking down the road for a while until then, he spotted something.
"Hey, I see a city." said Naruto picking up his pace so he could get closer to the city.
However, the moment he reached the entrance, he froze with his eyes wide with shock.
All around the city streets were creatures of all kinds walking the streets and talking as if it was normal.
"What the hell…? What is this place?" asked Naruto mentally.
"I don't know, but I can sense some people with a lot of the strange energy of this world." said Kurama.
"Okay. That's worrisome, but I won't get anything by staying here." thought Naruto before entering the city.
As he walked through the streets, Naruto kept looking around in amazement, as the city looked just like the ones he had visited during his missions, the only difference being that there were no humans.
He also noticed the street creatures acting normally around him.
He didn't even notice them looking at him funny or anything like that.
"Okay. They haven't reacted strangely to seeing me. That means there are humans in this world. Which is a relief." thought Naruto.
"Yeah, but we need more information than that." said Kurama.
"Well, that has an easy solution." thought Naruto before looking around and seeing a girl with horns and a pink kimono. With a smile, Naruto approached the girl with horns. "Excuse me." began Naruto catching the horned girl's attention. "I'm a little lost and would like to ask you where I am." said Naruto with a nervous smile.
"Oh, of course. You are currently in the city of Rimuru, the capital of the Jura Tempest Federation." said the horned girl.
"Jura Tempest Federation? I've never heard of that." thought Naruto.
"Maybe it's because this isn't our world." said Kurama.
"Oh, yeah. I forgot." said Naruto rubbing the back of his head.
"So now what will you do with that information?" asked Kurama.
"Well… I don't know. I guess I could go see the leader of this nation and see if he can help me." thought Naruto shrugging his shoulders.
"Sure. I'm sure he'll help someone who claims to come from another world." said Kurama sarcastically.
"Hey, it's possible he's not going to believe me at first, but I don't think there's any other way. It's possible he knows how we can get back to our world." said Naruto.
"Hmm. I hate to admit it, but you're right." said Kurama.
"Another thing, do you know where the leader of this nation is?" asked Naruto.
"Lord Rimuru? Sure. Go down that street and you'll see a large building. At this hour, Lord Rimuru is usually in his office." said the horned girl pointing in one direction.
"Thank you very much." said Naruto with a smile.
"You're welcome. By the way, my name is Shuna." said the horned girl introducing herself.
"I Naruto. Again, thank you very much." said Naruto before walking away.
Naruto was walking for a few minutes down the street that was pointed out to him until he came to an area where there was a building that looked different from the others.
"Well, I guess this is the place." said Naruto.
"Yeah, I can sense a great deal of power in there. Whoever that Rimuru is, he's certainly powerful." said Kurama.
"How powerful are we talking about?" asked Naruto.
"At this distance, I'd say almost like a bijuu." said Kurama.
Naruto's eyes widened in surprise for if Kurama said that, it meant that this Lord Rimuru was much more powerful than he imagined.
Regardless, he had to go see him as he believed he could help him get back to his world and now that he knew he was very powerful, he was surer of it.
Entering the building, Naruto came to an empty room.
He stood there, wondering which direction to take when...
"Greetings."
Turning to the side he saw a woman with a horn on her forehead and a purple outfit.
Though what Naruto noticed most was the size of her bust.
"Wow. She could compete with old Tsunade with those." thought Naruto.
"I'm the secretary of Lord Rimuru, how can I help you?" the horned woman asked, snapping the jinchuriki out of his state.
"Oh, yes, excuse me, but I would like to see Lord Rimuru." said Naruto.
"What do you want to see him for?" asked the horned woman curiously.
"Uh… For a personal matter." said Naruto not wanting to reveal his truth at the moment.
"Hmm. I don't remember Lord Rimuru having to talk to anyone." began the horned woman, making the jinchuriki nervous. "Well, never mind. Fortunately, Lord Rimuru is available right now. Follow me, please."
The two were walking through the halls of the building, with Naruto following the horned woman.
Once they finished passing through a hallway, they stopped at some huge doors and it didn't take Naruto being a genius like a certain friend of his to know who was behind those doors.
"Lord Rimuru, may I come in?" asked the woman with horn knocking on the door.
"Yes." said a voice from the other side of the door.
Naruto arched an eyebrow in confusion, as the tone of voice was that of someone very young.
Wasting no time, the horned woman opened the door, allowing her and the jinchuriki to enter.
It was then that Naruto's eyes went wide as, while the office looked very plush, his eyes were focused on the central desk, or rather, the blob-like creature on top of it.
"Wait, what?! That thing is their leader?!" asked Naruto mentally and in shock.
"I'm shocked too, but looks can be deceiving. I can sense in that creature an enormous power that could match us, the bijuu." said Kurama.
That made Naruto nervous.
If it was true that he was as powerful or more than a bijuu, then he had to be careful what he meant, for if he ever pissed him off, he didn't want to know what he could do to him.
"Hello, Lord Rimuru." said the horned woman.
"Hello, Shion. Tell me, to what do I owe this visit?" asked the droplet who revealed to be Rimuru.
"Well you see, it turns out that this boy wanted to talk to you about a personal matter." said Shion pointing at Naruto who was doing his best not to look nervous.
"Huh? How odd. His outfit doesn't look like he's from some kingdom I know. Could it be some foreigner?" asked Rimuru mentally before jumping back and transforming into a blue-gray haired boy as he sat down in the chair.
Needless to say, that surprised Naruto a bit, as he didn't expect him to be able to take human form.
"And who are you?" asked Rimuru.
"Uh… G-Good morning, sir... I'm Naruto Uzumaki. Nice to meet you." said Naruto bowing in thanks.
Normally, he acted normally in front of adults or superiors such as calling them old or something like that, but now he was in another world and was in the presence of someone who was even as powerful as a bijuu, so he had a feeling that if he disrespected him, there would be a good one whose outcome would be with him being locked up, tortured or executed and if he wanted to go home, he couldn't let that happen.
"Hmm. His name looks Japanese. Could it be some summoned one?" asked Rimuru.
"Analysis. An energy different from magiculas is detected in him." said Raphael.
"That should confirm it." thought Rimuru.
"Warning. A powerful presence has been detected inside it." said Raphael.
"What kind of presence?" asked Rimuru.
"Result. Of the demon category." said Raphael.
"What? How does he harbor a demonic being inside him? I need answers and I think he does too." thought Rimuru. "Shion, would you mind leaving us alone?"
"Sure." said Shion with a nod before leaving the room, leaving the human slime and the jinchuriki alone.
"Tell me, Naruto, where are you from?" asked Rimuru.
"I-I come from the Hidden Leaf Village in the Fire Country." said Naruto.
"I see. You really are from another world." said Rimuru.
"Yes, that's right, sir, I…" began Naruto before comprehension caught up with him. "Wait, what? How did you know I was from another world?"
"For two reasons. One, you're not the first to arrive in this world; and two, I could sense that you possessed an energy very different from magic." said Rimuru.
"Magic? That's the strange energy that inhabits this world?" asked Naruto.
"That's right. What do you call that energy you have in your world?" asked Rimuru.
"We call it chakra and we usually use it to perform jutsus, among other things." said Naruto.
"Jutsus? Are you even a ninja?" asked Rimuru.
"Why yes." began Naruto with a proud smile before grabbing his forehead guard. "I'm a ninja from the Hidden Leaf Village."
"I see. I have another question, if you don't mind." said Rimuru.
"Sure, you ask." said Naruto.
"Who is it that lives inside you?" asked Rimuru.
Naruto fell silent, shocked by the human slime's question.
"WHAT?! How does he know about you?!" asked Naruto mentally.
"My guess, he sensed it from the first moment." said Kurama.
Seeing that there was no other choice, Naruto decided to explain.
"Well, you see, it turns out that in my world there are huge chakra creatures known as bijuu. Those who possess a bijuu within them are known as jinchuriki." said Naruto.
"And why would you have such a beast inside you?" asked Rimuru.
"Long story. The point is that now the bijuu, by name, Kurama, and I, are one, so I can use his chakra to power my jutsus." said Naruto.
"Only if I let you." commented Kurama.
"So how did you come to this world?" asked Rimuru.
"Well…" began Naruto before scratching his head in confusion. "I don't know myself. I was in my world peacefully until suddenly a sphere of some sort surrounded me and the next thing I remember is waking up here."
"Hmm. It's probably a failed summoning spell, but I don't think that matters at this point." thought Rimuru. "In that case, I guess you came here to ask me for help, right?"
"Yes. I didn't know what to do and I thought that you, since you are the leader of this nation and apparently very powerful, might be able to help me get back to my world." said Naruto.
"Mmm." began Rimuru crossing his arms. "Raphael, is it possible?"
"Analysis. The process of creating a travel between worlds spell is possible, but the estimated time wouldn't be short." said Raphael.
"How much are we talking about?" asked Rimuru.
"Result. A few days." said Raphael.
"That's enough. Thank you." thought Rimuru. "Good news, I can prepare a spell to return you to your world, but it will take a few days to get it ready."
"Really? Great. I don't mind waiting a bit." said Naruto.
"Great. You'll be provided with accommodations to rest during your stay here." said Rimuru.
"Oh, that's not necessary, sir. I can sleep in the forest if necessary." said Naruto.
"I insist. Consider yourself a guest in my city and we treat our guests very well here." said Rimuru.
"Wow. In that case, thank you very much, Rimuru." said Naruto bowing in thanks.
"However, there is one thing I would like to ask you." said Rimuru.
"Anything." said Naruto.
"I would like to give you a test so I can observe your skills." said Rimuru leaving the jinchuriki surprised.
