"Younexcited about your first day of school tomorrow, as I'm excited too." Casey heard Rocket asking making the female-kit nodding, as she'd just had a relaxing bath and put on her pyjamas but with her brother in the kitchen having a bedtime snack.
"I guess but a bit nervous in case the teacher gets freaked out if my powers spurt out or the other kids don't like me." she said in between bites of brownie making Rocket get it, knowing from Ms Stripes that his sister had never been to school. He'd reassured her that the school she sas going to would help her control her many powers which relaxed her a bit, yawning making Rocket guess it was bedtime for her.
"Yeah I am tired, after playing at the park all day and need to recharge, for school in the morning." she told him following him to her room as he was tucking her into bed telking her a story seeing her out like a light putting on her nightlight before leaving after kissing her furry head heading into his room, but felt his comm going off seeing the Guardians needed him knowing he'd be back before Casey woje up in the morning suiting up into his armour and left, after activating the security system.
"There youbare, what took youbso long, Rocket." Cosmo asked making Rocket sigh.
"Sorry I'm late but tending to Casey, she has her first day at Avengers Campus in the morning, I can still be the captain." he replied seeing Phylla smile. She'd been hearing all about Casey from Rocket and wanted to meet her thinking they could be friends maybe sisters making Rocket chuckle.
"We'll see Phylla, but let's blast off." he told her as they got into their seats for blasting off.
I wonder why Rockie's so tired this morning, maybe he didn't get enough sleep last night.
It was the next morning, and Casey had just wojen up and gotten dressed in her signature attire flying downstairs and had entered the kitchen, seeing a tired Rocket sitting at the kitchen tabke drinking coffee which made her guess he needed sleep unaware he'd went on a late-night mission squeezing his paw gently which was waking him up realising she was up.
"Ohhhh, Groot Morning kiddo, I was up late last night, but don't worry, I can still take younto school." he told her making her breakfast and pouring her juice since she was too lil to have coffee yet but she was feeling excited yet nervous about her first day of school making Rocket understanding reassuring her it would be okay making her lunch and snacks yawning as they were leaving for the day seeing her quiet when they got to Avengers Campus as she saw millions of kids which made butterflies in her tummy happen which Rocket sensed, putting a paw on her shoulder.
"Hey everything will be okay, you'll see and I'll pick you up at the end of the day." he told her seeing her taking deep-breaths as she walked ijto the school building. She headed to the first-grade room which was her classroom seeing her teacher smile warmly at her as she welcomed the female-kit only Casey felt her paws tremble seeing all those eyes on her be coming unseen through her cloaking-power
"Whoa, is sheca mutant, that's pretty cool." she heard a kid say makijg the teacher sighing.
"I-I have many powers that I can't control all the time and mybemotions sometimes activates them." Casey replied sitting at the back of the class paying attention but hoping Rocket was okay as he'd looked really tired this morning hoping her day would go okay.
