CH 10
they walked out side, it was the first time Sarah was able to see the planet for the first time, she looks around in amazement
"Wow, I can't believe it, this place is incredible"
"All of this area is nothing but trees when we arrived here and now it home"
"I can see that, Daniel said that you been here for just over three years?"
"Yeah, but there is some thing in the rings and in the water that makes all of us look and feel younger"
"I notice it with Daniel how much younger he look"
"Well now you know" they walked over to where the cells are
"Ready?"
"Yes" Jacob nodded to the guard there, he open the doors and they walked in
"My lord" one of them said.
Sarah looked at them and she saw the dead symboite in the bowl, she looked up at Jacob and he nodded, then she turned to look at the jaffa.
"I am not a god and I'm not Osiris, this is Osiris" she pointed to the snake
"I was his prisoner for two years, this goa'uld are not gods as they clam to be, all they are is this things. These snakes who takes over a person body and do what they want with it while the host fight it the best way they can, trying to put a stop to the touchers that these thing causes. And for you to carry their young and make you follow orders, seeing your brothers and sisters die in a name of a fulse god, no more. I heard what happen to the goa'uld Yu, do you want to end up like him? The thing is we are all trap on this planet and we all need to live and work together, I also found out that there are other jaffa here both men and women who are stuck here like the rest of us"
"What about the tok'ra?"
"They are stuck here also, from what I've been told, there are creatures out there in the Forrest who have killed people in villages for food and when they had there fill. They leave and another creature that we call back on earth called wolfs and from what I was told they are twice as big as wolfs on earth. So for us to survive we have to work together, the choice is yours"
"Can these creatures be killed?"
"Yes" Jacob, said
"The first month after the killings we went to look for survivors in other villagers, what we saw made all of us throw up. Even Selmac my symboite was sicken and shock with what we both saw and she almost two thousand years old, she heard and seen a lot of things in her time but nothing compeer to what we seen. We were able to find survivors there was lots of young babies and children, but with this planet so big we did the best we can after that there was nothing we can do, there are to many villagers for all of us to check"
"That is why we need all the help we can get to find these creasers and kill them before they're next feeding"
"How big are these things?"
"Over seven feet tall and there mouth are that big you head can fit into it with more room to spear"
"What is seven feet?" One of them asked
"This tall" Jacob showed with his hand
"What about our symboites when they mature?"
"These is some juice that you can have that will replace and rebuild your ammine systems for you, there twenty jaffa out side walking around with no symboites, some of them have been here for years" then George walked
"Grand dad, daddy looking for you" Jacob turn and smile
"Come here" he ran over to Jacob and he picked him up in his arms. George looked at the jaffa
"Is this child one of the survivors?"
"No, you heard of SG1"
"Yes"
"The women on the team is my daughter, and this is my grand son George, we need to stop the creatures before the kill again, not just for my family but for every one who trying to survive here" they look at the boy with blond hair and brown eyes
"Have you got any more grand children?"
"Yes twin boys four and half month old"
"Have you got families back on your planet, think about what you think might happen if they were all stuck here trying to survive, think about this little boy, his brothers and all the other young children here who are also trying to survive" Sarah said
"It up to you"
"Who is the leader you your village?"
"Jack is, you know him as Colonel O'Neill leader of SG1"
"What is his rules?"
"Help one another and watch each other six while working in the caves or look for caves where the creatures live"
"Why?"
"Cause there are wolfs close by, we have come across these wolfs before when we were checking out caves"
"Where would we live?"
"There a saying on earth if you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours, other words, if you help us we will help you"
"And after our homes are built?"
"We still can help each other, Sam my daughter did up a roster were every one takes turns in doing thing around the village, looking for caves, checking villages, it a big planet and were haven't got many gliders, Sam might be able to fix some of the other gilders, we got a big planet to check out"
"Many hands make like work" George said sticking his thumb in his mouth, Jacob smile
"He right" Jacob said
"You said that there are jaffa here?"
"Yes"
"Can we talk to them?"
"I'll see what I can do, we better go and find Jack, think about what we just said" then they walked out of the cells just as jack walk over to them.
"How did it go?"
"They want to talk to some of the jaffa here"
"Ok I'll get some of them together and Bra'tac as well"
"Ok so what did you want to talk to me about?"
"Looking after the kids, Sam itching to get her hands on the gliders" Jacob laugh
"Sure"
"What can I do colonel?"
"Well you can help Jacob here look after the kids till we can get things sort out"
"Ok, where Daniel?"
"On the island, do translating"
"Ok" then Jacob lead Sarah over to where the kids are.
They build a fence with a gate so the kids don't try to run away, there was three slides, swings, see saw, and other play things for the kids, even a big sand pit area for them as well. There was even a gazebo build so the young ones can sleep when they have their afternoon nap under it.
While Jacob, Sarah and four other women look after the kids, Jack spoke to Bra'tac and some of the jaffa about talking to the ones in the cells before leaving with one of the SG team members to check an area out for few hours for villages and caves. Bra'tac and the other jaffa spoke to the ones in the cells about freedom and survival while stuck on the planet.
Three of them show them all their pouches where the 'X' was. One was almost gone and the other two where starting to close since they haven't got symboites any more. They all talk over two hours before they left to go and do some work leaving the others to think about what they just said. Later that after noon when Jack return, Bra'tac spoke to him and decided to let them out so long as they follow some simple rules which Bra'tac told them about.
When they agree, they were all let out and were able to walk around and talk to the other jaffa and others there. Jack was able to find a place for them all till new homes were built for them. It took Jack and Sam a week to get them into groups with the others and started working on building new homes.
Checking out villagers and caves which they all had turn in doing, seeing decompose bodies every where, wolfs that they were told about, the size of the cocoons, every thing. Sam was able to fix three gliders in a week, which made Jack happy. He got each team to take turns in helping Sam fix the gliders since some of them got damage wings which can be replace from another glider and the ones they are to badly damage were strip down for parts. And they were able to salvage the radios where they could have set up at ten mining sites and twenty villages to use for emergency use only.
Month later every one knew it was that time again, Jacob and the men and pregnant women look after the kids for the next ten days. Ry'ac and one of the young jaffa women whom he got to know got married week before the flower bloom, they weren't the only jaffa couple got married. Teal'c and Ista also got married, they did a month before hand. While the men made sure that the ones who were making passionate love for the ten days get food and drinks which was left out side there homes every day.
When all the couples walk out of there homes on the eleventh day, they all went down to the swimming hole to swim and bath while talking to the others there before returning back to the village to see their kids whom greeted their parents. The next day every one went back to work, Jack, Bra'tac and Jacob all got together and talk about mapping out the planet the best they can with a cargo ship.
Which they through is a good idea, so they asked for volunteers to go on the long mission, there was lot of volunteers, so Jack choice fourteen of them. The next day Jack, Teal'c, Jacob and fourteen volunteers left after saying good bye to there families before they left. Every one else went back to work. Jack through it was a good idea to map the coast first, which they did do, that took five days to go around the coast and they also saw other thirty islands size of the one where the tok'ra are living on.
Then they started going up stream on the first one and they found eight villagers, with five teenagers and twenty young children at one of them. While Steven was checking them over, half of the group went to check out cave in the cargo ship and the other half stayed in the village.
When the ship return, they just came back just before night fall and they all stayed the night there, help take care of the kids while the teenagers got some sleep. The next day four men stayed with the group while the rest check out the other villagers, one village there was still heaps of people there.
They found out that they build under ground tunnels, so the day before the creatures' came, they all went under ground. Jack told them that there are survivors in other villagers and asked them if they could live with them, which they agree to after they found out that the next village was three-hour walk up the river. Teal'c and four of the team went to get all the survivors while Jack spoke to the leader.
They found out that they also got a wolf problem in the area. Just after the cargo ship landed, the people in the village help look after them all after they found out what was going on and what happen. They spent the night there at the village. During the night, they all heard a scream so every one got up and ran to where the screaming was coming from. When they got to the edge of the village they saw a young teenager couple up a tree with about fifty wolf around it jumping up trying to get there legs.
"Zats, fire" jack said,
They zat the wolfs ones which made them turn to them and started running to them, so they fire it again which made the wolf collapsed and died where they were, then they heard a howling.
"Come you two before the rest of the family show up," jack said. They got down and ran over to where they are when more wolfs showed up
"Get to your homes, deal with you in the morning" they ran into their homes.
"Slowly step back towards the cargo ship" Jack said they started steeping back with four checking their back
"Jack we are surrounded"
"Ok circle" the all go into a circle then the wolfs started towards them
"Ok pick one zat twice, hopefully the rest will get the message"
Then Jack zat one twice then the others did, they headed towards them so they carry on firing with both zats in their hands, few minutes later it was over, all the wolfs were dead. They all waited for half an hour when no more wolfs showed up
"Ok let get back to camp, we all will take two hour shifts just in case" they all walked back to camp and shifts were all spilt up till morning. The next morning they walk back over to where the dead wolds are to find them gone
"Where the wolfs?" One of the women from the village walk over to them when she heard them ask about the wolfs
"They are been taken care of, thank you for saving my son life last night"
"What do you mean taken care of?"
"The skins from the wolf will come in handy for the one they you brought to us yesterday"
"What do you mean?" jack asked
"The skins of the wolfs will keep us warm at nights"
"Oh for your beds?"
"Yes, it been hard for the men to hunt them when they are in packs as you call it. This is a blessing, thank you"
"Your welcome"
"When will you be leaving?"
"Soon I'm afraid, there is caves not far from here we would like to check out"
"Of cause, I must return back to home" then she turned around and walk back to her home.
"Come on let get back up and get ready to ship out" they all headed to their camp site and started to pack every thing up when the leader and few others there walk over to them
"Thank you for what you did last night"
"Your welcome, you should tell the others to stay in doors at night just in case any more of those wolfs show up"
"Yes I will talk to every one, thank you"
"Your welcome, we better get going"
"Will you be coming back this way again?"
"Don't know"
"I under stand" then they left jack and the others to pack every thing up before leaving.
They went to check out the caves and found hundreds of cocoons and naqadah, so they zat them all and collected naqadah before leaving. To follow the river up stream, when the senores have pick up more caves, so they check them out since there is no villages in the area. They found the caves empty so they carry on going up stream towards the mountain. When they reach the top where the river started flowing, they found a spot to put the ship down for the night. One of the men found a hot spring not far from the ship, Jacob tested it and gave the others thumbs up so they all strip down and got in and relax.
"This is great," Jack said
"Indeed"
"Jack how long to you want to carry on mapping for cause I know you Miss Sam and the boys?" jack smiled
"Well when do you all want to head back"
"We just started mapping out this place"
"I know and I also know that we will be needing fresh food in couple of days, so why don't we see with the next river and villages. Then we can talk about after checking out the area, so why don't we give it another three more days and if you want to head back, then we will, ok" they all agree.
That night jack caught some fresh fish for their dinner, which they all enjoyed and talk around the campfire for the next two hours before turning in for the night. The next day they headed down stream after Jack planted orange, apples, lemons, plums and grape seeds. They flew down the river till they came to the sea, then they went to the next river and went up it, and they found twenty villagers, so they check them all out.
Every one was dead so they zated them three times and check the village out, seven of them were made of stone and cerement, so they left it and carry on till they reach the tenth village where they camp for the night. The next morning they carry on checking the other villagers out, they were all the same. Four of them wolf showed up, so they killed them before they kill them.
The even found caves and had them check out, they were full of cocoons, so they zat them all before they left. Out of seven hundred and eighty two rivers they lead out to sea, they manage to check out twenty of them in a month before they decided to head on home.
When they arrived home, every one greeted them with hugs, handshakes and kisses. After they all had a bath, shave, dress and had some thing to eat, they told every one there what they found and have come across the time they were away. Every one was shock with what Jack and the others have told them. It was getting late so every one went to their homes for the night. After Jack and Sam made passionate love, Sam snuggled in to his side.
"Jack" she was lying on top of him looked down at him as he stroke her back
"Yes sam"
"I'm pregnant" He smiled at her
"Are you sure"
"Yes Janet work it out, I'm about ten weeks long" he pulled her down for a passionate kiss
"I love you so much Sam"
" I love you to jack" then she gave him a kiss
"Dose dad know? "
"Yes, and he is happy for us and hoping that it is a girl this time" she said smiling
"What do you want Sam, boy or a girl? "
"A girl would be great but what ever we going to have, I'll be happy" they both kiss before they snuggled down for the night and feel asleep in one another arms.
The next day they share the good news with every one else there, they were all happy for them. Sam showed jack and Jacob what she been up to while they been away for the month. She and her team have been about to fix twenty more gliders which they were all happy about and showed them the trees that have been removed they now showed a wide path between there village and three others.
Then showed them and the others an area which was just over four hundred meters away. Before there was trees, now there are homes being built for the jaffa and their families since the women have found a mate with the men and are happy, that there was plans of having weddings that Bra'tac will be going the service for all of them. After lunch Jack and Jacob went to see how things are over at the mines, when they arrived there, they saw pack of thirty wolfs showed up and that the men on guard were shooting them all till they disappeared. When Jacob and Jack showed up
"How often do they show up? "
"Two, three times a week"
"Ok, hows it going here? "
"Good as you can see most of the trees are gone between here and the village"
"Ok keep up the good work"
"Thanks" then they left to some checking out and big flat area.
"Jacob what do you think of this area for any big ships to land like the ancient ship? "
"Good spot what dose the reading show? "
"All clear"
"Ok, well the only way to get down there is by rings for starts"
"That is what I was thinking also" they flew back home and started getting things plan.
Month later a group of ten men and cargo ship headed over to where the flat land is and started moving trees to where the jaffa new homes. They all still took precision just in case any wolfs or any only aliens showed up. They were there for two weeks when two packs of wolfs showed up and headed to the group luckily the cargo ship showed up, and was able to be ring aboard just in time. So they headed home.
Jack decided to wait for a week before returning back to the area. They found other animals in the Forrest; they found rabbits, goats, deer and other wild animals about. Two weeks later every one found out that Janet, Claire and Ista were all pregnant. Every one is happy for them and there mates.
Sam was starting to show and every time jack see her, it makes him smile and every night and morning, he has his hand over the bump that is forming under his hand. Over half of the jaffa homes were finish and they were able to move in, which they were all happy. Bra'tac symboite matured so he went to see Jan about the drink, which she made it up for him. He first removed the adult symboite and broke it neck, then he drink the drink before he left and zat the snake three times before he went to his home and rest for the next three days. Jan told Janet about Bra'tac and she been keeping an eye on him in that time.
