CH 14
"Colonel"
"There is a ship on this planet sir left behind by the ancient sir and the weapon on, it powerful and I'm the only one who can use it cause of the ancient gene"
"How powerful sir" one of the Majors asked
"One fire ball can destroy a mother ship" Sam said they were all shock. They all talk about what else they been doing while stuck on the planet.
"Jacob are you ok?" Hammond asked
"Yes I've got some wonderful news to share with the tok'ra when we return"
"What that"
"There is over one and half million tok'ra living on this planet and million symboites ready for hosts" every one went quiet
"Are you sure?"
"Sir, Nigeria was living here for twenty years, in that time, well she been busy, she saved people lives from Ra, she brought them here and they all been living here before Ra showed up and took her away. She the one who did up a story that she was the only survivor on the planet while every one else and her children were in hiding till the ship left, the tok'ra been waiting all this time for there queen to return" Daniel said
"That would be wonderful news got them alright"
"They want to join in the war"
"The tok'ra will be please with this"
They talk for an hour before the kids went down for their nap. While they were resting, Jack and the others show Hammond and the crew from Promethis around, telling them what they have done. When they came to the waterfall, they could see kids going down the water slides.
"This is Sam latest project sir" Jack said
"You have been busy Major"
"Yes sir"
They spent the rest of the afternoon looking around including flying over to the island for few hours, meeting the tok'ra, seeing where the pools of symboites is and Jack saved the best to last the ship. Hammond and the others were shock when they saw it for the first time after jack show them the in side of the ship, they all couldn't believe that it was still working after all these years. When they return back to the village Hammond look around
"Where the women?" jack smile
"Swimming and waiting for us men to join them we will be right back sir, guys grab extra towels for these guys here" he called out as he walk to his house. The others went to their homes and then walk back out with towels and other clothing in hand
"Shell we" they all walk over to the river, they could here talking, laughing and giggling.
"Were back" Jack called out, all the women turn to see the men standing they're looking at them with grins on their faces.
"It's about time" sam call out then they all turned around so their backs are to them the men started getting undress while the women started mouthing the strip tease tune. Hammond and the others stood there in horror watching the others taking their clothes off
"You better hurry up guys cause one they finish with the tune they will count to five before turning around on us" then they started to strip them selves with they finish the tune then they started counting. By the time they got to five they were all naked and in the river.
"Oh ready or not" they turned around to see them all in the river. Sam swam over to where Jack is and gives him a kiss. They all talk and swim around for the next two hours.
"Sir how many X-302 are on Promethis?"
"Forty, why?"
"Well sir we going to need all the help we can get, the creatures we were taking about at lunch time today, they well be waking up in lest than eight days for feeding, we need to stop them"
"Why?"
"It what they eat" Jack said
"What do they eat?"
"Animals and humans, they are fast so humans are easy target and they are bigger" Jack face went pail, Hammond look around to see the others faces go pail as well
"Couldn't the villagers stop them?"
"One village tried with bows and arrows, only five survive out of thousand, if we didn't check the village out when we did and Janet and Jan heal there wounds they would have been dead with in a month"
"Oh my god"
"From what we found out a ship crash here two hundred years ago, there was cocoon survive the crash. The people on the planet at the time didn't know what it was so they left it, year later fifty people were killed, they all through it was the wolfs so they decided to spilt up and head south. Then five years later the same thing happen again but there was nine of these creatures. One person survives and told the next village what had happened and what he saw, so some men went to check it out. Out of thirty men that left, only five return, they others were killed by wolfs, the survivors was one of the ones that was killed also. Then word was spread, around, till Nigeria showed up with some of the villagers, and they lived here not knowing what was going on with the creatures till they showed up not long after Nigeria left. From what I can work out sir, if there was no creatures, there would oh been cites like on the island by now, instead of villagers" Sam said
"What can I do to help?" sam smile
"We will need every glider out there searching the hills for caves, I can use Promethis computers to confuter with the cargo ship computers and work it from there"
"When do you want to start major?"
"In the morning sir"
"Ok" then the waterfall stop
"What's going on?"
"It ok sir it happens at this time of day, river been diverted so other villagers can get some water, we help them make swimming holes like this on so they won't run out of water"
They talk for the next hour till the water fall started up again then the women got out first to dry down and got dress.
"See you guys back in the village" sam said, they all walk back to the village leaving the men there.
Hour later it was getting dark they the fire torches were lit around the village and the picnic tables where every one sat down to dinner. Some of the crew was flown back to Promethis for their shifts and the others were flown to the village. So they can talk to the others there and also join them in dinner and talks three hours later the crew flew back to Promethis for the night in two of the cargo ships.
The next morning Jacob and Sam arrived in one of the mini cargo ships that was able to fit in the glider bay. Hammond, was there to great them when they walk out of the ship
"Sir we brought breakfast for every one but we need some help here" Sam said
Hammond got on the phone, then few minutes later some of the morning crew showed up and help take baskets of breads and fruits to the mess hall for every one to enjoy. While every one was enjoying their breakfast, Sam was on the bridge working on the computers there.
She was up loading every thing from the four computers to one of the bigger hard drives so then the teams could carry on filling out reports and every thing else that needed to be done. When that was happening, sam started working on the configuration on one of the other computers on the bridge. When Hammond went looking for Jacob he found him on the bridge watching Sam work
"Jacob are you ok?"
"Yeah just watching sam work like what she dose when she was in her lab back on earth or with the tok'ra or on one of the cargo ships. I still can't believe what she has done for her self and now things are going to change once again for her and all the others"
"What do you mean Jacob?"
"Home George, but there is going to be one problem when every one returns"
"Court marshal"
"Yeah, and they aren't the only ones"
"I know, we will work some thing out"
Jacob nodded they both watch sam work for half an hour, then she walk over to where the four computers and check them. Then discounted one from the hard drives and shut it down then she did it to the others and then packed every thing up and turned around and smile
"Every thing is done this end and the hard drive here sir is full of reports from all of us so far, photos every thing from what has happen in the past five years and there is more to come"
"Good work major, I'll let you guys get back to the village"
"Yes sir, shell we dad" they left the bridge and walk back to the cargo bay and walk in the ship, sam poke her head out.
"Sir groups will be here in an hour to go with some of the guys here"
"Ok good luck"
"Thanks" she smile the walk back in and close the door, then he heard the engine start up and they lift off and turn around and they were off back to the village.
Jack got every thing set up and gave the ones who were going to be flying in different areas to check out orders. All but one cargo ship left half an hour earlier He sent forty men to promesthesis since they know what to look for and also what do so since they got the most experience. Then he sent other gliders out to other areas on the island and gets them to start checking out the hills.
Sam was on Promethis with Jake while Jack was staying in the village next to the radio. Once aboard the ship started up their engines and lifted off and headed to and area at the same time the X-302 left the bay and headed to their areas and started searching for caves. They all spent all day checking caves and zating the creatures and any wolfs that they to attack them.
Sam was at one of the computers typing away, making each spot where they have found caves as well giving each pilot orders. As well use the cameras that is on each of the X-302 to check out if there is any caves that they couldn't detect cause of tress and scrubs were in the way. By using in for red and heat detection, then she lets them know if it clear of not.
By the end of the day every one return backs to the village for a swim and relaxed in the swimming holes. Jack and Sam talk about what areas have been covered when she return and compeered notes, every thing before going for their swim with the others. That evening they all enjoyed a big meal with some of the others. They all talk among them selves. Jacob was talking to George
"George any change for you to get me to one of the Asgard ships in the morning?"
"Why?"
"I want to contact the tok'ra to let them know that more tok'ra have been found"
"Just be fore we came down here thor told us that there is a planet not far from here with a stargate on it if you want to go and talk to them you self"
"Yeah problem is me, that would think I'm a goa'uld, look at me George"
"Why don't I come with you then"
"Thanks, it going to take some conniving"
"Don't worry, every thing is going to turn out alright"
"I hope so"
Early the next morning two X-302 headed out to space, it took them twenty minutes from Promethis to the Asgard ships Hammond spoke to thor and both he and Jacob were beam aboard, then the two gliders headed back to the planet. Thor ship then jump into hypo space for twenty minutes.
While they were going to the closest plant with a gate on it, every one else has been working in killing the creatures and any wolfs. When they came out of hypo space Thor check the planet out before beaming them down to the gate. Jacob dials tok'ra home world and they both walk through the gate to the other side.
"I hope they still here" Jacob said they walk around one of the sand dunes with tok'ra appeared pointing weapons and them then lowered them when they saw Hammond.
"We need to speck to the council," Selmac said then they raised their weapons.
"Hold it, this is Selmac"
"What happen to the host Jacob Carter"
"You looking at him" Jacob said
"We don't believe you"
"Then take us down to the science lab where they can take blood sample, it will come back that I am Jacob Carter, but younger"
"We not armed" Hammond said
"Come closer" then walk over to there the tok'ra is and were ring down
"Ah home sweet home" Jacob said making Hammond smile they walk to the lab with two tok'ra with zats behind them.
"General Hammond, what can I do for you?"
"Anise, can you do the test proving that this is Jacob Carter and Selmac" Anise was shock when she heard what Hammond just said, she look at the young man next to him
"Of cause, this way" they walk over to one of the tables, Jacob held out his hand and she prick his finger to ger blood sample then got glass disk and put his blood finger over.
"This well take few seconds" she walk over and put the glass over where one of the tok'ra computer is and push four buttons then it beep and stop then some writing came up, she turn around in shock
"What" Jacob said?
"You are Jacob Carter" the two tok'ra were also shock
"How can this be?" one of them said lowering their zat
"We need to speck to the council we got some wonderful news"
"They will be in the chambers"
"Thanks, come on George we are waiting time here" they walk out and headed to the council chambers where they were meeting when they walk in. the tok'ra stop and turn to see them there
"General Hammond is there some thing we can do you?"
"First of all this is Jacob Carter and Selmac"
"What" Hammond put his hand up?
"Anise had him check out and it is Jacob, but younger"
"How can this be?"
"Forbidden plant" Selmac said
"We know about that planet for centauries"
"Nigeria was there for twenty years before Ra showed up and took her away"
"I don't under stand" Jacob told them about what Nigeria did when she saved lots of lives and how long she was on the planet for, when he finish telling them
"That is why she did what she did, to protect them for all goa'uld including Ra"
"What made you look younger?"
"Sam thinks that there is some thing in the rings and also time differences"
"Time difference?"
"Yes we been on that planet for over five years"
"But you been missing for four weeks" he nodded
"We do have some wonderful news through"
"What is it"
"First of all I'm a grandfather, colonel o'neill and my daughter Sam have got four boys"
"Congratulations"
"Thanks, Baal, Yu, Osiris and Anubis is dead"
"Anubis dead?"
"Yes he and his ship all have been distorted by a powerful ancient weapon on the ship which only jack can make it work cause of the ancient gene he carries"
"That is wonderful news, but the system lords were wondering that happen to them"
"Now you know, but the best news is" he was smiling
"We have found tok'ra living on the planet"
"Tok'ra, are you sure?"
"Yes but they won't all fit in here"
"How many are there?"
"There is over one point seven million tok'ra living in hosts" they all gasp with the news
"And there is about million symboites waiting for hosts, so Nigeria has been busy while stuck on the planet" he said smiling at them
"This is wonderful news, can we meet them?"
"Sure they all would like to meet you, oh there are jaffa living on the planet"
"What" they were shock
"Don't worry they get on well with the tok'ra, they have been working side by side for the time we have been there and there is a cure there where jaffa won't have to depend on symboites any more, Bra'tac and number of jaffa are free of carrying symboite and they all look younger like me"
"This is what Teal'c and Bra'tac have been looking forward to for years and now it has happen" Hammond said
"When can we go and meet them?"
"When you are ready, we will have to gate to a planet where we will be beam up to a Asgard ship, he can take us to the planet" Hammond said
"If you do come pack plenty of clothes since we don't know how long we are going to be there for"
"Of cause, some of us will go with you"
"Ok when you are ready we will wait by the rings" then they walk out and headed to where the rings us
"I should have brought a camera with me George"
"Why"
"To take photo of the looks on their faces" Hammond chuckled
"Yeah your right" when they reach the rings
"I wounder how things are going on the planet?"
"Who knows Jacob"
When eight tok'ra showed up, they were ring back to the surface then walk to the gate and dial back to the planet. When they reach the other side
"Hold hand please" Selmac said, so they did and Hammond pulled a white stone out of his pocket and push it then they were on Thor ship.
"Greeting"
"Ready Thor" then they went into hypo space. Hammond did the introductions then they all talk till they reach the planet.
While on the planet every one has been busy checking out caves and zating the creatures in side, they have even came across some villages where there has been survives. Some of them were young children with few adults, so they radio for a cargo ship to pick them up and take them back to home base so Jan, Janet and medical staff could check them over, give them a bath and food to eat since they were hungry.
