Lincoln began pacing back and forth, clearly scared about what he was told.
More vampires in Royal Woods?
It certainly doesn't help that one of these vampires was already willing to kill before he got transformed.
Lincoln walked over to the phone out of instinct.
He picked it up and started dialing, only to be stopped by Ellie.
"What are you doing?" Ellie asks
"I'm calling my family." Lincoln answers
"What, why?" Ellie asks concerned
"I need to warn them." Lincoln said
"You can't, if you call them they'll try to force you back home. Besides, we don't know if they are really like me, I blacked out, they could have been killed." Ellie explained
"I can't take the risk." Lincoln said
"Life is all about risks, I'm sure I killed them all." Ellie said
"Can you look me in the eyes and promise me they are all dead?" Lincoln asks
Ellie tries to look into his eyes but finds herself unable to.
"I can't." Ellie said feeling defeated
" I need to tell my parents." Lincoln said
"Tell them what? That you've run away with a girl that turned a bunch of kids into blood sucking monsters? They wouldn't believe you anyway. Please just give me a chance to prove I killed them." Ellie pleads
"Ellie we don't have time for this." Lincoln said
"Please." Ellie said
Lincoln exhales in frustration at the situation unfolding.
"Okay, but be quick, If you take too long I'm calling." Lincoln said
"Thank you." Ellie said before running upstairs
She needed to find something urgently.
She successfully found a laptop.
She prayed it wouldn't have a password on it.
Luckily it didn't.
She started looking up details about what happened that night.
She was getting frustrated at all the conflicting reports.
Some reports say they survived.
Some reports say they all died.
What is the truth?
She found a article that seemed more trustworthy.
It cited multiple sources, had police statements, threw in some local residents being interviewed.
She read through it.
A horrific tragedy has occurred at a local swimming pool in the small town of Royal Woods, Michigan.
The scene was described by multiple people on sight as a *blood bath*
The gruesome scene was so unspeakable that no one knew what they were looking at.
The worst part is that several young children were the ones involved in this.
As unfortunate as it is to talk about, some casualties did occur.
Ellie kept reading, hoping for confirmation that they were all dead.
A few minutes later, Ellie came back down the stairs with her head hung low.
"Well, what happened?" Lincoln asks
Ellie looked up at him.
"Trent and Richie died. But that was it." Ellie said disappointed
"Oh no, Chandler is still alive." Lincoln said while reaching for the phone.
Ellie stopped him.
"Ellie, fucking let go of me!" Lincoln exclaims
"Lincoln it's no use calling your family." Ellie said
"How can you say that?" Lincoln asks
"They won't come after your family, people like me can sense each other, they will track me down first." Ellie said
Lincoln stared at her in shock.
