Chapter Four

Dominic and Fran hurried to the hotel, arriving earlier than planned.

"Boy, that was unexpected." Fran stated.

"Yeah," Dominic added, "boy will RJ and the others be surprised?"

"They said they'll meet at the Jungle Grill and Dine."

"I wonder where they are."

Dominic and Fran turned around and saw the announcement about the shuttle being delayed due to an unusual incident occurring.

"I wonder what could have happened there." Fran stated.

"Maybe the others are there." Dominic stated.

"If that's the case," Fran glanced up, "I hope RJ and the others are okay."

"If they are," Dominic told his girlfriend, "all we can do is hope for the best. Besides, they are Pai Zhua Masters, and they are capable of handling things."

Fran nodded, slightly assured.

Back at the shuttle, The people on board the inter dimensional shuttle started to recover from that attack sent by the entity.

RJ found himself back on his feet along with Casey.

"Are you okay?" RJ asked.

"I think so." Casey answered. Then Lily stood up, recovered. Followed by Theo.

"Are you guys okay?" RJ asked.

"I think so." Lily answered.

"Me too." Theo added.

RJ looked up before calling for the others, "Is everyone else okay?"

"Earthquake." Brooks stated, "It must be."

"But that is impossible." Deann replied, "The ground is fixed. It is solid."

"Flashlights!" the stewardess told the group, "Everyone take a flashlight! They are in the back of the seats."

Everyone, including the young former rangers grabbed a flashlight. Theo followed Seth to a direction as they were startled by something.

"Uh, Theo?" RJ called for his friend.

"Oh Seth," Siobhan came for her son in concern, "Sweetheart, come here."

"Never mind me." Seth replied, "What about her?"

Everyone looked to see that the brunette woman was crouched down with her head covered by her hands.

"What happened to the seats?" RJ asked.

"Who did that?" Lily added.

"They have been ripped up!" Siobhan exclaimed. RJ walked over to the blonde woman, "It's all right. It is over. You are safe, okay?"

"RJ!" Casey exclaimed, "be careful!"

RJ nodded before going back over to the frightened woman, "We are still alive. See? The wall is still intact."

"Driver Bill?" the stewardess called for her crew via her phone, "Edward? Driver Bill, Edward, can you hear me?!"

She hung up the phone before telling the others, "I am not getting a response. The intercom must be down."

The stewardess tried opening the door that the two men were in only to find a bright white light waiting for them. It was so bright that everyone had to cover their eyes. Seconds later, the door closed again.

"What happened?" Siobhan asked, "What was that?"

"Have we lost the driver?" Roger added.

"The cabin is gone." the stewardess answered.

"Do not be ridiculous." Brooks replied, "It cannot be gone. How can that be?"

"You saw it." Deann told the professor.

"There was nothing there," Lily stated.

"Like it was ripped away!" Casey exclaimed.

"What are you doing? The cabin is gone, you better leave that alone, kid!" Roger asked Casey as he managed to get one of the panels on the side of the shuttle open, what the tiger master found alarmed him.

"It cannot be gone!" Brooks exclaimed.

"It's safe." Casey told the group as he was about to reveal his discovery that the wires have been cut in half for some strange reason, "or not. Something must have sliced it off! The cabin is gone!"

"But if it gets separated..." the stewardess stated, "it loses integrity."

"They have been reduced to dust!" Lily exclaimed from all he had observed.

"They sent a distress signal," the stewardess informed the crew, "I saw a red dot, informing me that before the shuttle got attacked. So help is on its way. We are going to get out of here."

"That woman!" Seth exclaimed. The group looked to see that the brunette woman had not moved from the spot that she was crouched in.

"Why won't she turn around?" Seth asked.

"What is her name?" Brooks asked.

"Burkle." the stewardess answered, "Miss Winifred Burkle."

"Winifred?" RJ called for the frightened brunette woman, "Can you hear me?"

RJ walked over to her, "You are alright."

"RJ, don't!" Casey exclaimed.

RJ ignored him as he was calling for Winifred, "Can you move, Winifred? Can you look at me?"

"The noise from outside stopped." Theo announced.

"What if it is not outside anymore?" Casey asked, "What if it is inside?"

"Inside, where?" Lily asked.

"It was heading for her." Seth answered, implying Winifred.

"Winifred?" RJ called for her again, "Yoo hoo, are you alright? Can you at least face me?"

"Robert James, get back here!" Lily exclaimed. Casey and Theo glanced at her.

"What?" Lily shrugged her shoulders.

Slowly, Winifred first removed her hands from her head, and then she slowly turned around to reveal her hazel eyes were purely white, lacking any pupil or iris. Winifred was possessed by the being that was on board as she looked at the other passengers before looking at RJ. The wolf master moved his head a bit and Winifred was copying his moves.

"Winifred?" RJ called.

"Winifred?" the brunette woman echoed.

"Are you alright?"

"Are you injured?"

"Listen. You do not have to talk."

"I am trying to help here."

"Do you know about the Pai Zhua Masters?"

"Okay, can you stop now?"

"Please stop copying my friend!" Casey exclaimed.

"Please stop copying my friend!"

"Why is she doing that?" Lily asked.

"Why is she doing that?"

"She has gone mad!" Roger exclaimed.

"Stop it." Siobhan tried getting her/the entity to stop.

"Stop it."

"I said stop it."

"I don't think she can." Theo told the others.

"Now, stop it. This is not funny." Brooks told Winifred/the entity.

"Guys quiet!" RJ exclaimed.

"Guys quiet!"

"My name is Seth." Seth spoke up.

"My name is Seth."

"Shut up, Seth! Leave it alone!" Lily exclaimed.

"Why are you repeating us?" RJ asked.

"So are you learning from us?" RJ went to interrogate the thing that was possessing Winifred.

"RJ, stop it!" Theo exclaimed.

"It is impossible to copy like that!" Brooks exclaimed.

"Tell her to stop!" Siobhan exclaimed.

"She is driving me insane!"

"Just make her stop!"

"Stop staring at me."

"That is just to weird." Theo stated.

"I am telling you who ever you are, shut it up!" Roger exclaimed.

"Can she even help it?" Casey asked.

"This is just insane!" RJ exclaimed.

"Miss Burkle!" the stewardess called for "Winifred".

"Aces are high, deuces are low!" Seth exclaimed.

As everyone was yelling at once again, Lily, Theo, RJ and Casey looked amongst themselves.
