Chapter Seven

"They have completely separated." Seth announced. The other passengers do not see the fear and panic in RJ's face as he was knelt down and his back was against them.

"It is in him!" Roger exclaimed, "Do you see? I said it was him all the time!"

"She is free!" Siobhan exclaimed, "She has been saved!"

"Oh, it was so cold!" the entity pretended to be Winifred as it was in its body.

"Oh, it was so cold!" RJ echoed.

"I could not breathe."

"I am sorry."

"I must have scared you so much."

Siobhan went to hug "Winifred" to comfort her, "No, it is alright. I have got you. Oh, there you are. It is gone. Everything is all right."

"I wouldn't touch her!" Casey exclaimed.

"But she's clean, it has passed on to him!" Roger exclaimed.

"That is not what happened!" Lily exclaimed.

"Thank you for your opinion, Missy," Brooks told the daughter of the Phantom, "but clearly Miss Burkle has been released."

Deann nodded in agreement.

"No!" Lily exclaimed with insistence.

"Just leave her alone," Siobhan stated, "She is safe, isn't she? Seth, it has let her go, hasn't it?"

"Think so, yeah." Seth replied, "It looks like it. Professor?"

"I would say from observation," Brooks noted, "RJ cannot move, and when Miss Burkle was possessed, she could not move."

"Well, there we are then," Roger replied, "Now the only problem we have is this hippie boy."

"It is inside his head." "Winifred" spoke with an evil smirk on her face.

"It is inside his head." RJ echoed.

"It killed the driver."

"And the mechanic."

"And now it wants us."

"I said so." Siobhan chimed in.

"He has waited so long." said "Winifred".

"He has waited so long." RJ echoed.

"In the dark..."

"And the cold..."

"And the diamonds..."

"Until you came."

"Bodies so hot..."

"And pain."

"For heaven's sake, make him stop! Someone make him stop!" Siobhan shouted.

"It can't be RJ!" Lily exclaimed, "It just can't be!"

"RJ," Casey walked over to his former teacher, "if you can hear me, you have to snap out of it!"

Lily replied, "She is the one saying all this!"

"You can just shut up, girl!" Siobhan snapped, "And you boy, get back from him!"

"It is not him!" Lily exclaimed, "It is her! He is only repeating!"

"But that what the thing does," Roger replied, "It repeats."

"Let her talk." the stewardess told the group.

"What do you know?" Roger snapped at her, "Fat load of good you have been!"

"Just let them explain." the stewardess insisted.

"From what we have seen," Theo explained, "It repeats, then synchronizes, then it goes on to the next stage."

"What else could be happening?" Seth asked, "The voice is the thing."

"Yes." Lily answered, "And she is the voice! She stole it! Look at her! It is doing more than possessing RJ, it's draining his life force!"

"It is possessing him!" Theo exclaimed.

"And draining his spirit too?" Casey added, trying to wave his hands and shake him to try to break him free from the possession.

"She's got his voice." the stewardess gasped.

"That is not true," Siobhan was obviously in denial like the rest of the passengers, "cause it cannot be. I saw it pass into him. I saw it with my own eyes."

"So did I." Roger chimed in.

"You did not!" Lily exclaimed.

"The thing went from her to him!" Siobhan insisted before looking at her son, "You saw it, didn't you?"

"Um, I do not know." Seth replied.

"Oh, do not be stupid, Seth!" Siobhan exclaimed, "Of course you did!"

"He was next to her." Seth said.

"Everyone saw it!" Roger stated, "Everyone!"

"I know what is going on here!" Lily exclaimed, "It possessed Winifred, swallowed her soul and now it has taken RJ's voice."

"She is as bad as him." Siobhan stated, "Someone shut her up!"

"I think you should be quiet, Miss." Brooks told the Cheetah Master.

"But you do not understand..." Lily started.

"And that is in order!" Brooks exclaimed, "You might be a master or whatever, but you are clearly not an expert in mechanics and hydraulics. You are nothing more than average at best. Now shut up!"

"That is how he does it."

"He makes you fight."

"Creeps into your head..."

"And whispers."

"Listen."

"Just listen."

"That is him."

"Inside."

"Throw him out." Roger growled.

"Get him out of our heads!" Siobhan shouted.

"Yeah. We should throw him out."

"No!" Lily shouted.

"Do not just talk about it!" Siobhan yelled at her husband, "Roger, you are useless! Do something!"

"I will!" Siobhan exclaimed, "You watch me. I am going to throw him out."

"Yes!"

"Throw him out!"

"Get rid of him!"

"Now!"

Instantly, Roger advanced towards RJ but Casey leapt in between the two men.

"You're not throwing him out!" Casey insisted.

"Wanna bet?" Roger replied.

"Casey, don't!" Lily yelled in fear.

"You'll have to go through me to get to him!" Casey insisted.

"Fine." Roger replied grabbing him by the arms.

"No!" Lily exclaimed, "Theo, do something!"

"It will be you next!" Siobhan threatened Lily.

"I do not think we should do this!" the stewardess exclaimed.

"It was your idea." Roger replied as Casey was struggling, "Professor, help me! Get the hippie boy!"

"I cannot..." Brooks whimpered in fear, "I am not..."

"What sort of a man are you? Come on!"

"Throw them out!" Siobhan shouted.

"Come on!" Roger added.

"Just do it!" Siobhan urged on, "Throw him out!"

Theo and Lily looked at each other as they knew time was running out as Roger was dragging Casey out while Brooks managed to get a hold of RJ.

"They are really going to do it, aren't they?!" Theo exclaimed.

"We have to help them!" Lily told the others.

Brooks was aiding Roger in throwing RJ and Casey out of the shuttle.

"Cast him out."

"Into the sun."

"I want him out!" Siobhan shouted.

"And the night."

Seth was whimpering in fear, holding his head with his hands. Everyone on board was shouting at once. Lily and Theo hurried to help their friends to prevent them from being thrown out of the shuttle.

"Do it!"

"Do it now."

"RJ is trying to fight this thing from within!" Lily exclaimed.

"I knew he could hang in there." Casey stated, struggling against Roger.

"RJ! Hold on!" Theo exclaimed.

"Faster."

"That is the way."

Now, Seth was helping Brooks and Roger throw RJ and Casey out of the shuttle and the three men were in an apparent tug of war with Theo and Lily, who were trying to keep their friends from being thrown off the shuttle.

"Help RJ!" Casey yelled.

"You can do it."

"And that we shall!"

The stewardess realized that something was off, and she glared at the entity that was possessing Winifred's body and realized that "Winifred" was not there anymore and she was causing all this as Deann was cowering in fear.

"That is his voice!" the stewardess exclaimed.

"The starlight waits!"

"It has taken his voice!" the stewardess exclaimed in realization.

"The emptiness."

"The Midnight dimension!"

The stewardess faced "Winifred" as to tell her the jig was up, "It's her."

The stewardess grabbed the entity that possessed Winifred's body as she shouted, "She has taken his voice!"

She broke the emergency glass next to the door which opened and was face to face with "Winifred", or the being that was possessing her body as well as RJ's. Everyone in the room screamed as they were startled by the bright white light that came from outside.

"Noooo!"

"One, two, three, four, five, six!" the stewardess counted before the weight collapsed the entity along with the stewardess were out of the shuttle and the door closed. The passengers all backed away as RJ and Casey dropped to the floor, with RJ finally freed from the possession.

"It's gone. It's gone." RJ spoke as he knelt face down on the floor, "It's gone. It's gone. It's gone."

He laid on his back, still paralyzed as if he was waking up from a terrible nightmare.

"It's gone. It's gone." RJ continued his mantra, "It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone."

Brooks whimpered with his hand in his hands. Siobhan looked around in sadness and worry. Seth held his head in his hands. Deann looked down in sadness and fear. Roger sat down at the other door.

"RJ, are you alright?" Casey called to his friend as he and Theo helped him up to the nearest seat. Lily whimpered from the ordeal. Slowly, RJ nodded as movement was returning to his body.

"I said it was her." Siobhan said.

"Yeah right." Lily scoffed.

RJ, Casey and Dominic all just glared at her.
