Kamen Rider Ryuki Broken Mirror

What if Kanzaki Shirou won the Rider War? Yui Kanzaki may have been given a new life, but nobody was there to stop the Mirror Monsters from ruining the world. Now in a post-apoclyptic world where Kamen Riders are mass-produced, Yui becomes a rider and teams up with the "After Image" of Kamen Rider Ryuga, who despite his resemblance to Shinji does not share his personality.

3. Episode 3

After reading this old scripts again, I thought they were interesting enough to continue posting. Please enjoy.

{Yui is on the ground in her Ryuki form as Ryuga walks menacingly towards her.}

Ryuga: The deck. Give it back.

{Yui pulled herself off from the ground.}

Yui: Ryuga..I could use this deck to help people!

{Ryuga stopped for a moment.}

Ryuga: You just want to atone using my deck.

Yui: {Yelling} Why is that wrong?

{Ryuga doesn't answer as he loads a card in his visor.}

Visor: Sword Bento!

{He then charged. Yui squatted down as she rolled away from his attack, grabbing her own sword. Ryuga then turned around and jumped forward, she blocked the attack with her sword.}

Ryuga: Just give it back..!

Yui: You don't understand the things I saw when I transformed. I think I'm supposed to become Ryuki.

{Ryuga then tossed aside his sword as he rushed again, this time grabbing Yui. He tried to wrestle her sword from her hand.}

Ryuga: Don't care.

{Yui's grip was loosening as Ryuga was much stronger than her. Thinking quickly she kicked him in the stomach. While he was knocked forward, Ryuga did not let go. Instead, he threw her over him onto the ground. He next attempted to remove the Advent Deck from her deck.}

{The signature roar of DragRedder was heard as the Mirror Monster flew into Ryuga freeing Yui from his grasp. DragBlacker then flew into the fight roaring at his counterpart monster. Both dragons assaulted each other with fireballs in multiple directions. One of these fireballs hit Ryuga and he fell to the ground.}

Ryuga: Screw dragging this out.

{Ryuga took out a single card from his deck. And suddenly he was surrounded by fire. Yui looked on in shock as his Visor changed. Ryuga was holding the Survive Card.}

Ryuga: Last chance.

{Yui didn't respond as she watched, catching her breath.}

Ryuga: Fine.

{Ryuga loaded the card and closed the teeth on his DragVisor Zwei. We hear the click sound it makes.}

Visor: Survive!

{Ryuga then transforms into a black and gold version of Ryuki Survive. Behind them, DragBlacker then turned into a black version of DragRanzer. DragRedder roared in confusion.}

{Ryuga charged up a gun blast from the DragVisor Zwei and fired it at Yui. She rolled out of the way and loaded Strike Vent in her own Visor.}

Visor: Strike Bento!

{DragRedder sent a fireball at Ryuga. Direct hit. However, Ryuga walked out of the smoke unscathed.}

What does he want with this deck? He has his own cursed deck!

Ryuga: Don't make me hurt you over a dumb deck.

{Yui ran towards cover taking shelter in a grocery store. Ryuga walked following her inside as DragBlacker raced to pursue her.}

{DragBlacker roared as Yui jumped over an aisle. The beast despite being slender, angrily flew around knocking over things.}

{DragRedder tried to fend off his counterpart but was easily pushed away by the superior Survive form of DragBlacker.}

{Suddenly Yui jumped forward with her sword towards Ryuga. Taken by surprise Ryuga smacked her down and pointed his gun at her.}

Ryuga: You can't win.

{Then an electric charge shocked Ryuga throughout his body. He shook uncontrollably, dropping the DragVisor Zwei. His armor burst into pieces and the Survive card ejected itself into the air before fading away.}

Ryuga: *weakly* Nnnnooo..

{He was in human form again as he collapsed at Yui's feet. Scene end.}

{The next scene starts with Ryuga waking up from inside a sleeping back in a tent. He has a cold sweat. The Ryuki Advent Deck lays on a blanket beside him. Yui sat on the ground asleep. Ryuga sat himself up to quietly reach for the deck. The sheet fell from his chest showing scars covered by some bandages. As soon as his fingertips touched the deck, he clutched it.}

{Reacting to his touch, the Deck glowed bright red as Ryuga's expression turned to an annoyed one. Suddenly at the end of his bag, the After Image of Kamen Rider Ryuki appeared kneeling.}

Ryuga: *groaning* Leave me alone..

Ryuki: *Flailing his arms and pointing.* Why'd you do that? Starting fights with Yui, she can help you.

Ryuga: No she can't. Nobody can.

Ryuki: You're always so hopeless.

Ryuga: How can I not be? Look around you! Stupid After Image.

{Yui then tossed and turned, the sounds of voices starting to awaken her. She opened her eyes to Ryuga alone with the Deck in his hands. She reached into her pocket showing the Knight deck.}

Yui: Keep it.

Ryuga: Why did you save me?

Yui: I'm tired of bloodshed. If there's something I can do to stop it, I will.

Ryuga: Makes sense.

Yui: Why so attached to a memory of someone you hate?

Ryuga: *Ryuga looked down at the deck.* I didn't hate him. Just parts of him.

Yui: You seem to like him enough to kill me for it.

Ryuga: I wasn't going to kill you. This deck. It's a part of me.

Yui: *She hung her head down.* Can I trust you?

Ryuga: No.

Yui: Do you trust me?

Ryuga: No.

Yui: I could have destroyed that deck, or killed you. Yet I didn't.

Ryuga: You'd never have the guts.

Yui: I didn't even want the deck at first, but yet here I am. Get a move on we've got to get going.

{Yui exits the tent.)

{The next scene is Yui (As Alternative) and Ryuga (transformed) entering the village. The villagers gather around surprised to see her. Reiko and Okubo rush out to greet her.}

Reiko: Miss Kamen Rider, what happened out there?

Alternative: *Clearing her throat.* ATTENTION! Your Kamen Rider, Disrider was a trickster and a con-artist.

{Ryuga dropped down the unconscious human alter ego of Disrider onto the ground. Ryuga observed the survivors around him.}

Man: Then who will sponsor our settlement?

Alternative: I don't know but I will do what I can.

Okubo: Who's your menacing and scary friend?

Alternative: Oh him? He's my assistant.

Ryuga: ...Assistant? *He crossed his arms.*

Reiko: Having no Rider presents a problem then.

Alternative: Problem?

{We then transition to the inside of ORE Journal 2, where a large holographic image of Kamen Rider Verde is playing on a loop.}

Verde: My fellow Riders and Survivors, it's time we unite Japan. We are scattered out apart in 13 different factions. Untrusting and often merely surviving. But we can change that. Years ago, a secret war changed all of our lives, now another war will save it.

Alternative: He can't be serious.

Verde: *Playing with his yoyo.* We shall restart the Rider War. All 13 Factions should send a Rider to fight in their place, whoever survives will be granted a wish. The winner will wish away our world back to normal, or maybe they'll wish for something completely selfish. Only blood will tell. All Rider Faction Leaders are eligible to enter, any Rider not leading a faction will have to join one and help their leader win. Use any means necessary to win, I know I will...

Shimada: It won't stop looping! *She kept trying to tinker with it.*

Reiko: He wants everyone to hear..

Alternative: He wants to start a war across Japan..

Reiko: This is what I was saying about the big things before. What will you do, miss Kamen Rider?

Ryuga: *Smacking his fist into his hand.* We either win or cancel this mockery of what came before.

Alternative: But the other factions will be caught up in the crossfire of wars.

Ryuga: There are lots of Riders out there, if Shinji had allies, then you can find some as well.

Alternative: I will.. Protect this village, even if it means revealing my identity..

Ryuga: We can't hide who we are.

Okubo: How do you know about Shinji?

{Ryuga removes his Advent Deck. We see him mostly shirtless with bandages. Shimada and Reiko are shocked.}

Ryuga: Because I'm..

Okubo: SHINJI!

{He rushes to hug Ryuga. Grabbing him Ryuga has a grumpy look on his face as he picks up Okubo pushing him against the wall and dropping him.}

Ryuga: I'm not Shinji..

Shimada: ...He's so strong..!

{Okubo has a dazed silly look at his face as Ryuga makes eye contact with the others. Shimada instantly starts blushing and hides her face. Ryuga is puzzled.}

Shimada: I-I-I'm sorry! I just need to get some water!

{She rushes out of the room very red.}

Ryuga: What was that about?

Reiko: *Looking towards Alternative.* This is…?

{Alternative is caught off guard for a moment.}

Alternative: This is Shinichi..! Shinji's long-lost brother!

Okubo: *Slowly getting off the floor.* Shinji never mentioned having a brother…

Ryuga: *Slamming his fist against the wall* That little pipsqueak!

{Okubo opted to stay on the ground. Alternative gave Ryuga a look before he looked down at Okubo.}

Ryuga: *Extending his hand.* Come on.. Get up..

Okubo: S-sorry Shinichi..

Ryuga: Why are you apologizing?

Okubo: I don't know.

{Ryuga pulls Okubo up ungently and fast.}

Ryuga: I never apologize.

Alternative: I know.

.{Okubo holds his arm on his back as he goes back to sit down.}

Ryuga: What's that supposed to mean?

Alternative You know.

Ryuga: I don't know!

Reiko: *cough* Ahem..

Alternative: Right.. I guess it's my turn

{Alternative stands in the center of the town as the people gather. She removes her Advent Deck and looks down.}

Yui: Yes, it's me I'm Yui Kanzaki. You all know me as "The Girl Who Ruined the World." I want to sponsor your village, not to rule over you but to protect you.

Reiko: No, we know you as the woman who saved us from a narcissist Rider, and who helped us get supplies when we needed them.

Okubo: Yeah! You were Shinji's friend and ORE Journal 2 will stand by you!

{Yui let out a small smile.}

Woman: I suppose we should give her a chance.

Men: But we'll be keeping a watchful eye!

{Other villagers nod. Yui shows the people the Knight deck and Ryuga holds out his deck.}

Yui: I wish to stop this war before innocents are lost. Tomorrow, Shinichi and I will head out to search for allies.

{The scene then transitions to a night setting. Yui and Shinichi are staying in a tightly packed two room living space. Yui is packing essential supplies for the trip when Shinichi walks into frame.}

Shinichi: Why did you call me.. Shinichi?

{Pausing to face him.}

Yui: It was a short easy way to distinguish you from Shinji. Why?

{Shinichi pulls out the Ryuki deck.}

Shinich: I like the name. Thank you.

Yui: You're welcome but you didn't answer my question.

Shinichi: I'm going to lie down.

{Yui ignored the question dodging and resumed packing.}

{The next scene the morning sun is rising as Yui and Shinichi travel across a large field of overbearing foliage. Yui holds out a makeshift map that indicates the next faction hugs the coast past the city.}

CLACK CLACK CLACK CLACK CLACK.

Yui: What was that?

{Shinichi scans the area, he climbs up on a tall rock and looks over. They would then hear a distorted sound similar to horse naying. He notices a herd of Mirror Monsters. DragBlacker and DragRedder roared indicating willingness to attack.}

Shinichi: It's a group of Zebraskulls. Twelve of them.

Yui: There's not a lot of wild Mirror Monsters anymore, the remaining ones tend to travel in large groups. They won't bother us.

Shinichi: Why are there fewer of them?

Yui: Doctor Yuuta suspected overhunting.

Shinichi: Nah, they're too tough. Something's amiss with the world.

Yui: All in due time. What do you think about the Mirror Monsters?

Shinichi: I feel connected with them yet so far away. Like a monkey to a human.

Yui: Connected?

Shinichi: I came from the Mirror World like them. Yet, I also came from a man who fought to kill them.

Yui: Does everyone have a Mirror World Counterpart?

Shinichi: Maybe. Everyone has dark thoughts, who's to say that they won't manifest in the Mirror World?

Yui: My Mirror Counterpart wanted to help me.

Shinichi: Maybe.

Yui: Maybe?

Shinichi: I've never heard of something good coming from the Mirror World.

{Yui then hung her head low contemplating in silence.}

{Finally, they reach the next village. The smell of the ocean and the waves crash together. Large stonewalls surround the village with a pen built in the water as well. The banner cloth sports a crocodile-like symbol. Yui and Shinichi stand at the gates awaiting a response.}

Man: Strangers, what do you seek?

{The man was dressed in Rider-like armor. Yui recognized the pieces of armor as coming from the Mirror Monster Evildiver, with each half of the fins being mounted as shoulder armor. She could distinguish its eyes on his chest armor. The tail whip is extended down from the helmet. The man had no facial protection.}

Yui: We seek to speak to your Kamen Rider! We do not come to harm!

{The man then disappeared and sounded a trumpet. They waited a few minutes.}

THUMP THUMP THUMP

{The gates creaked opened loudly. The first thing they saw was a black, dark, and light green crocodile-themed Rider sitting on a throne made of bone. He was riding on a similarly colored giant crocodile. Its tiny legs made a thumping sound as it walked forward. Not a part of his armor, the Rider wore a scrap metal bronze crown and bow + arrow on his back.}

Rider: Greetings strangers, I am the exalted ruler of this village. You are met with suspicion and mercy. Where did you come from and how did you get here?

{More the same guards with differently colored Evil Diver armor surrounded them with whips.}

Yui: We came from a Contracted faction from beyond the abandoned city. We were not attacked.

Rider: Interesting, my scouts could not get past the herd.

{The Rider leaned forward to get a better look.}

Rider: Ah, I see why.. The Monsters would not dare attack their sister's maker.. Yui Kanzaki.

{He placed his claws together.}

Yui: I seek allies to stop the upcoming Rider War, we cannot let innocents be caught in the crossfire of warring factions.

Rider: Precisely I agree!

{Yui takes out her deck and Shinichi follows suit.}

Yui: We are Riders ourselves.. Mister..

Rider: I am Kamen Rider Kurokodaijin.

Shinichi: {Leaning forward} What a mouthful.

Kurokodaijin: You will address me, your King, as Majesty.

Shinichi: King? {Ryuga smiled as he looked down} Listen your "majesty".. We're not here to play Democracy..

Kurokodaijin: Democracy?! HAHAHAHAHAHA You are a fool! We are a monarchy! {He slapped his knee.}

{Shinichi's expression turned to surprise then anger.}

Yui: Ryuga.. Don't!

{He gripped his Advent Deck and a shard of mirror to transform. The guards ready their whips.}

Kurokodaijin: Look at this.. The lesser thinks he can put up a fight.

Ryuga: I'll show you who the strongest Rider is..

{One of the guards took the first shot swinging his whip at Ryuga. Using his quick speed he grabbed it and began to pull the man forward. He pressed a button on the whip which sent an electric shock through him forcing him to let go. A second guard joined in punching Ryuga's helmet.}

Ryuga: Heh..

{He loaded in a card.}

Visor: Strike Bento!

{DragBlacker flew in as Ryuga charged towards the crowd, flames brewed at the teeth of the Strike Vent armament. Punching one to the ground, Ryuga then dodged a tail whip and shot a fireball at the attacker. Quickly turning around he kicked another and then slammed his fist down on another getting up. Another tail whip soared towards him, and he grabbed it again, this time resisting its electric shock. With his immense strength, he pulled the man forward onto the ground and stomped on his shoulder before turning his attention to Kurokodaijin.}

{The frame freezes creating an Advent Card. This time, the card is Kurokodaijin's Strike Vent. Decepticing a large armament based on the jaws of a crocodile.}
