After three days, Hiccup finished rebuilding the forge.

Fern answers "Snotlout keeps bothering my sister. Can you just save her?"
Ryder sighs "I'm sorry, Fern, but I don't believe Hiccup is ready to come back from hiding. If you want I can go talk with Snotlout about bothering your sister."
Fern grins "thank you."
Ryder goes back to working on the sword.
After he finished it, he left to go to the Meade Hall to eat lunch.
The teens walked the Meade Hall to eat lunch.
Astrid walked over and punches Ryder in the shoulder and regrets it because it was armor "ow. Shit. Shit. What the heck is that made out of?!"
Ryder answers "dragon scales."
Astrid grumbles "the punch was for you not coming to get me."
Ryder apologizes "oh, sorry, Hofferson."
Astrid says "call me, Astrid."
Ryder comments "I finished the forge yesterday night. Tonight I can get started on building you a new double bladed axe."
Snotlout wraps his arm around her waist and ask "why would she need a new axe when she's going to be sitting at my house being my housewife."
Astrid grabs his hand and twist it "how many times do I have to tell you that I'm engaged to Hiccup?!"
Snotlout spins around and grabs her by her arms and says "after dragon training, your mine to marry!"
Astrid gets teary-eyed at that.
Ryder decided to jump in and pull Snotlout away and pull Astrid behind him and scowls "if she isn't your wife, you are not to touch her!"
Snotlout scowls at him "I challenge you to a fight."
Ryder nods his head "I accept."
Snotlout grins "if I win, you leave Berk and never return."
Ryder sighs "tomorrow afternoon."
He goes to sit down and eat some chicken.
Astrid decided to sit next to Ryder and hugs him "thank you for saving me."
Ryder turns his head "no problem, milady."
Astrid blushes at the pet name.
(Evening)
Ryder pours the Gronckle Iron in the mold.
He place the rod inside the mold to fuse the head to the rod.
Astrid comes by and ask "was it wise to agree to that deal?"
Ryder turns around to see Astrid standing there and says "Snotlout thinks that it's going to be an easy fight with me losing because of my size, but he forgot that I went under training."
Astrid gape "oh. Wait a minute you only have three years of training!"
Ryder grins "Hofferson? If Snotlout can't beat you in a duel, there's no way he can beat me."
Astrid comments "if you beat Snotlout in a duel, I challenge you to a duel."
Ryder laughs "really, Hofferson?"
They leave to go eat dinner and go to bed.
