A/N I'm not doing the Charmed episodes, episode by episode or even in the exact same order, nor will I be doing all of them. Essentially, it's season three of charmed right now, same as Buffy, but I'm going to pick and choose which ones I'd like Xander and later Xander and Cordelia to interact with. Ones I think would be affected by their presence. The first one will be a favorite of mine, Pardon My Past, which was part of the second season of Charmed.

About a week after Xander's whitelighter healing ability manifested, Mayor Richard Wilkins simply disappeared and was never seen again.

"Kind of anticlimactic." Xander commented when Cordelia called to tell him about. "But I'm glad you guys didn't have to deal with him. The Watchers Council probably used some sort of Special Forces types to deal with him. It's what the military does in a situation like this. You take out one key player and the entire operation can come apart. I don't think it's an easy thing to decide to take a life, but if eliminating one life can save many, sometimes it's a choice that has to be made. His final transformation would apparently have been at our graduation. Or rather, your guys graduation now. How many of our classmates or you guys would have died trying to fight a giant demon?"

"Even one would have been too many. The investigation turned up so many horrifying things the Mayor did over the last century. I'm sure the Professor only told us a few things. She's shielding us from most of it. He chose to build Sunnydale in order to be a monster. You chose to leave Sunnydale in order to avoid becoming a monster. There's irony for you."

"Yeah. I'm just glad it's over and hopefully things will be quiet. I have to go, both Phoebe and I have studying to do. She's studying phobias for her psych classes and I've got a test tomorrow. And Prue and Piper are throwing a party. They've had it planned for awhile. So I'm going to lock myself in my room and hope they don't play the music too loud."

"I'll talk to you later. Love you."

"Love you, too."

The music was loud, but Xander tuned it out. Then it quieted down. He heard a crashing sound downstairs and went to check. Demon attacks happened quite a bit around here, after all. He found Prue, Piper and Leo anxiously hovering over Phoebe.

"What happened guys?"

"I had some sort of premonition. A full body experience instead of just pictures in my head. We're trying to figure it out."

"So what exactly did you experience?"

"Well it started with hearing music, but not the same kind they'd been playing earlier. And then it was like I was being seduced."

"Seduced?" Xander said, startled.

"Yes, I was being kissed and someone was pulling at my clothes."

"What if it was a ghost? When we dealt with the ghosts I mentioned before, they were a student and a teacher that had gotten involved back in the fifties. The teacher broke it off, realizing the harm it was doing. But it was too late. The student was in love and didn't want to break up. He confronted her with a gun and it went off because he was upset. Killed her accidentally and himself on purpose. Then he got trapped in a loop. It happened during the Sadie Hawkins dance. So every year after that, he'd possess someone in an effort to change the outcome. Eventually he took possession of Buffy and the teacher took possession of Angelus. Since he didn't die when possessed Buffy shot him, the teacher was able to tell the student, she forgave him for shooting her and they were both able to move on. What if there's a ghost in the house trying to communicate?"

"By seducing me?"

"By being trapped in loop that involved seduction."

"It's worth checking out." Prue said.

"So how we do it?" Xander asked.

"If there is a ghost, a combination of the summon the dead spell with a seance." Prue said, as they headed to the attic. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a bust.

"No ghost." Piper said. "Okay, so what else could it be?"

"It might be a variation. It could be one of her own past lives haunting her. Maybe trying to warn her about something." Leo suggested.

"You know, that might actually be it." Phoebe said. "The music I heard, it was ragtime music."

"I'm not great at knowing different kinds of music." Xander said. "But that sounds familiar. Wasn't that like from the twenties or something?"

"Yes, it was." Leo said.

"If it was a past life, maybe there's something in the Book of Shadows." Piper said and they all crowded around the book.

"There's a past life spell here. I'm going to try casting it and see if it is my past haunting me." Phoebe said.

Remove the chains of time and space

And make my spirit soar

Let these mortal arms embrace

The life that haunts before

And promptly passed out.
