Evening came, Valka and Ingrid were sitting at the kitchen table talking about old memories.
Hiccup stirred from his nap and felt weight on his chest and turned to see Astrid sleeping peaceful and wakes her up.
Astrid stirred to talking and gets up blushing.
Hiccup comments "it's okay."
Astrid kisses his lips before standing up and smirks "don't think your off the hook. Your going to marry me or I'll just live with you until you come to terms that I want to be your wife."
Hiccup gulps "uh sure?"
They walk into the kitchen together.
Valka ask "so, son? Was I right that it was a misunderstanding?"
Astrid gasped "Valka Haddock?! What are you doing here?"
Valka laughs "I came to keep the village running while my husband is away."
Astrid ask "mom? Where's my shield?"
Ingrid answers "right over there" pointing at the shield laying against the counter.
Hiccup nervous ask "are you sure you want me as your husband?"
Astrid answers "yes. Now take the shield back to your house before I do it and then I'm going to hold you captive like my slave!"
Hiccup gulps and grabs the shield and runs home.
Ingrid sighs "daughter? If you talk to him in a loving manner, he'll do as you please."
Astrid sighs "it's new to me feel in love with Hiccup and the same time scary about this relationship."
Valka grins "take it one day at a time. He may be the dragon Prince, but after being broken by the tribe and you, he's cautious about trusting the villagers."
In the morning, Astrid woke up to see Hiccup sleeping next her and smiles "I'm very happy to be next to you" and kisses his lips waking him up.
Hiccup consciously wraps his arms around her waist to draw her into him making her giggle in kiss.
Astrid breaks the kiss "come on, dragon boy. We have dragon training today."
Hiccup comments "you mean you have dragon training today. I'm Ryder, the dragon Prince."
Astrid ask "do you have a tip against today's dragon?"
Hiccup answers "don't know until we get there."
They eat breakfast and leave to go to the arena.
Gobber comments "now that Astrid arrived, we can begin class. Today you'll be facing the Deadly Nadder."
Ryder stood by the gate.
Snotlout and the teens entered the maze.
Gobber comments "your be learning about blind spot. Find it and hide in it."
Ryder comments "here's a tip. Stormfly likes to play fetch so if you get corner, save yourself by playing fetch."
Ruffnut and Tuffnut argue in blind spot in front of Stormfly.
Stormfly chirped at the two before spitting a flame knock them over.
Gobber comments "blind spot, good. Death spot not so good."
Snotlout followed after Astrid.
Astrid decides to go tag her.
Snotlout push her aside "stand back, babe. I got this" and threw his mace at Stormfly.
Stormfly duck under the mace and cuff at the idiot and chase after them.
Astrid comments "your an idiot, Snotlout."
Snotlout complained "the sun was in my eyes, babe. I could move the sun, but I don't have the time right now."
Stormfly chirped again.
Ryder found Fishlegs ducking under a fireball.
Fishlegs ask in shock "Ryder?! What are you doing?"
Ryder yells "run!"
Fishlegs runs out of the maze to meet up with the twins.
Snotlout spun Astrid around and says "I think we lost it. How about we have a little moment of romance?"
Astrid widen her eyes at him.
Snotlout leans in to kiss her lips.
Astrid knees Snotlout in the groin hard and climbs up the wall to run from Stormfly.
Stormfly fires a shot at Snotlout knocking him down.
She jumps on the walls and chirped at the axe that Astrid is holding in her hand.
The walls collapse on the weight.
Astrid jumps to another wall.
Ryder finds Astrid on top of the wall and says "jump, I'll catch you, Astrid."
Astrid jumped as the wall was knocked over and lands in Ryder arms bridal style.
Ruffnut comments "oh look love on the battlefield."
Tuffnut comments "isn't she engaged to useless?"
Stormfly got out of the walls and chirped at them.
Astrid prepares herself for a battle.
Ryder comments "Stormfly likes to play fetch."
Astrid sighs and toss her axe over to a spot and says "fetch, Stormfly."
Stormfly runs over to the axe and grabs it and brings it to Astrid and drops in front of her feet and chirped again.
Ryder grins "now do it again two more times and then tell her to go sit in cage for some chicken tonight."
Astrid frustrating throws her axe again and again before sending her to her cage for a treat.
Gobber dismissed them.
Snotlout and the teens question Astrid.
