Two Years Later…

Today was Dex and Octavia's wedding day. And Snow was on sniper duty. Only received the news of the wedding when he had returned a week removed from a mission in Samoa with Loona. Upon his return. He'd been asked by Stolas to provide a one-person security detail for the royals attending the wedding today. The only reason Eric hadn't asked Moxxie, Millie or Blitzo to help him provide security for the event was due to them being in attendance with the rest of Snow and Loona's friends and family. By extension, the I.M.P. is in attendance today. Loona also attended knowing Snow would be on guard duty.

Ground Level. With Loona

Seeing the glint of a gold wedding band under the only sunlight Hell had to offer. Loona had spotted Snow on a skyscraper in the distance. With her phone still out. The hound begins texting away to her husband.

Knowing she wasn't going to get a reply from the focus on the building he was aiming at. She smirks at the fallen angel in the distance when she heads inside the church with the others.

Back To Snow

The hybrid is now seen sipping a flask of coffee while the barrel of his rifle rests upon the stone edge of the building. Beside him, to his left-hand side, was a small radio blaring what was being said within the church during the ceremony. Snow is seen with his hat over his eyes to keep the sun out while he rests.

If this was all the security he had to do for his best friend and stepsister-in-law. Sniping any threats that tried interrupting the ceremony and making sure everyone was safe. Then Eric would take this job more often. It would be on top of his freelance work, of course.

Noting how dull today was going to be since he couldn't attend the ceremony. Eric hit the snooze button on his sleeping form. Turning off the radio once the ceremony was done. The hybrid is now seen asleep on the concrete roof of the skyscraper he was positioned on.

Sometime later, however, the hybrid's slumber was interrupted by the sounds of fighting and gunfire down on the street level he was supposed to watch over. Snapping awake and, taking his position at his gun. He got a good look at what he was looking at.

Down below. The new husband and wife were being evacuated with I.M.P. and his wife. They were being kept safe from the protesting Hell hounds led by someone who had a gripe with the Goetias. Eliza, not seeing the sniper that was meant to be protecting her aunt and uncle in the distance, grabs the earpiece from one of the other guards and shouts down it.

"What the fuck are you doing Dad?! Shoot that asshole!"

Snow smirked. He looked down his scope and saw the target his daughter had indicated to him as Ryker. He steadies his aim and tries to get a clear shot on the hound that was assaulting anyone to do with the new couple.

Steadying his aim. He says down his earpiece to his daughter.

"Taking the shot now, Liz."

BANG

The sooner a protester's head exploded off of her shoulders. The sooner Ryker and all of his cronies scattered at the unknown shooter that had shot their ringleader's girlfriend dead. Smirking in satisfaction at a job well done. Eric unfurled his wings and took off towards his next job in Hell.

If only he knew what was in store for him when he would return home tonight.

That Afternoon at Blitzo and Stolas' Home

"While you were taking your little 'siesta' on your job, Snow. The I.M.P. team had to mow down sixteen Hell Hounds. Sixteen hounds! My little Starfire could have been hurt. And, on her wedding day! Do you have any idea how upset my daughter is!"

Stolas was furious with the hybrid standing before him and Blitzo. When he had come to visit them about payment for the job he had done. Snow wasn't expecting to see Moxxie, Millie and Loona standing before the angered Goetia and Blitzo.

Millie was stood with Winter and Eliza beside her. While Moxxie kept a stoic expression on his face. Even if he was shitting bricks about the angered Goetia. When Snow had walked into the room without a care in the world, Loona was the only one happy to see the hybrid she called her husband.

Now. He was answering for the whole siesta thing while he was supposed to be giving protection to the royal family. And, personally, Snow knew he'd fucked up. Sighing sadly. Stolas stood from his chair behind the desk he and Blitzo occupied. Looking the hybrid in the eyes. He speaks up clearly.

"This is the first hiccup I've had with you, son. It is not like you to slack off on your duties. Is everything all right at home with you and Loona?"

This caught Snow off guard. Now that he thought about it. He never really asked Loona how she was. Or, how she was doing with him being away every time for a long time on jobs. That was until he heard an angered shout beside him.

"NO FUCKING WAY!"

Snow raised an amused eyebrow at the mithed hellhound he loved dearly. Causing Blitzo to ask in worry.

"Looney?"

"Everything is okay at home, Stolas! How dare you say Eric and I are going through marital problems."

Spotting Snow with his amused eyebrow raised. She suddenly turns on him too.

"Don't think you're in the clear dickhead!"

"What?"

Snow asks before Loona continues.

"Every night I have to wonder when you're coming home. You never call, you never text. And, don't get me started on half of the bullshit you give me as an excuse!"

"I'm sorry I'm busy trying to keep my family comfortable Loona! And, I'm sorry about the bad reception I have on most of my jobs!"

Loona laughs bitterly whilst getting nose-to-nose with her husband when she continues.

"You seem to have no fucking issue making me and the kids worry about you! You walk around like you're some invincible being. News flash asshole. You're not!"

Moxxie and Millie shrunk back due to Snow almost changing into the wanderer from his rage bubbling above the rim. Luckily, Stolas stepped in.

"ENOUGH!"

The two that were almost strangling each other, Blitzo, Moxxie, Millie and Eliza all looked towards the Goetia who had shouted to get everyone's attention. The sound of Evangeline crying at the sudden shout from her grandfather scaring her caused Eliza to take her gently from Millie's arms.

However, Snow would say something he would regret.

"Fine. If my job bothers you so much. Then leave. Go back to being that selfish, bitter, flea-ridden slut that everyone once knew you to be before you met me!"

Loona backed up with a tear-soaked and shattered look on her face. Hell, when it dawned on him what he'd just said. Snow felt his heartbreak that he'd said such a thing. But, what sealed it was when Loona said definitively.

"Fine."

Loona barged past her husband before running out of the door crying. Leaving a heartbroken Snow stood with a lot of shocked and angry looks towards him. Sighing in defeat, he says quietly.

"Let's just give her time to cool off. Then, I'll go and apologise to her."

Eliza, after handing Evie back to Millie, walks by her dad in anger. But, not before saying.

"I don't know who the bigger monster is. My real, dead mother… or you."

Snow's heart shattered further. He had to climb out of the grave he'd dug himself now. Otherwise, a wave of Hell was going to crush him in its current.

Snow and Loona's Apartment

Standing outside his bedroom that he shared with Loona. Eric takes a deep breath before knocking on the door to the shared room. Even if he had a cold shiver up his spine from Eliza glaring at him from her bedroom.

"Honey?"

"Fuck off!"

Sighing again. Eric has to compose himself again before speaking.

"About earlier, babe…"

"I told you to fuck off Eric!"

"Look… I was out of line. I didn't mean a single word of what I said at your dad's place. I was just mad that you never told me you had a problem with me being away all the time. I never wanted to hurt you and our kids."

Sound of a Door Unlocking

Smack!

Loona clocked Snow with a straight punch to the face. Though Snow didn't feel it. He just allowed his wife to, justifiably, take her anger out on him. The punches only stopped when Loona began crying into her husband's arms. Even saying between sobs.

"I just don't want to lose you to your job, Eric."

"I understand."

That was when Loona pulled away after Snow's reply. Not with anger. But, with a heartbroken look in her eyes towards Snow.

"No… you don't. What if you never come home? And, I got THAT phone call. Then what, Eric?! I can't lose you!"

Snow nods. Pulling Loona close to his chest so she could listen to his heartbeat. He says softly.

"I guess… I was just too, preoccupied, with work. I guess forgot about the people that mattered to me."

Keeping Loona held closely to him. He strokes the top of her head while she keeps her arms around him.

"Plus… I was worried you'd met another woman. And, you were going to call it quits with me."

That was the answer Snow was looking for. Looking his wife dead in the eyes. He asks gently.

"And, pray tell babe, why would I do something like that? I have a happy life with you and the kids. Why would I up and leave you for someone who isn't you?"

Loona just shrugs in the embrace. This action caused Snow to chuckle at the hound in his embrace. Feeling the mood lightening up, Loona speaks whilst meeting her husband's gaze.

"I guess being married comes with its downsides too. Huh, Eric?"

"It does Loona. It does. It's not easy when a couple who loves each other hits that patch. But, we can overcome it."

Loona nods. Sharing a kiss, Eric asks one thing that was bugging him.

"So… am I forgiven?"

Loona looks at him with a mock-thinking expression before smiling at him and answering.

"What do you think handsome?"

Snow smiles back at his grinning wife before they begin making out. They only stop when Snow asks.

"Wanna go on a date to that coffee shop you like so much? My treat."

"I would love to babe."

Continuing with their heavy kissing. It soon turned into wild passion. This caused Eliza from her room to plug her ears into her music after she heard her stepmom shout in pleasure.

"FUCK ME, ERIC SNOW. FUCK ME LIKE YOU MEAN IT!"

Later That Afternoon

Taking a sip of the tall cup of coffee he had while checking his phone. The male just minded his own business when he heard a voice coming towards him.

"Hey, babe."

Loona was just in a normal t-shirt and jeans shorts when she came to a halt at her husband's table outside the cafe. She looked happy to see the male sitting outside with a coffee when he asked her.

"Long day?"

Loona glares lovingly at her husband before taking her seat. Once she got her boba tea order from the waitress. She browsed through her phone. Eric, being the bold one he was known for being, interlocked his fingers with Loona's own. Causing the hound to blush bright red at the intimate contact from someone who had rearranged her guts earlier during their wild make-up sex.

The rare time Loona did look up from her phone to look at the male across from her concentrating on his phone. The woman saw something from a male across from her. Snow was content—no pain, no sadness, no anger or wanting to leave Loona high and dry. No, Loona saw contentment. And, judging by the fact Snow had adjusted his grip on Loona's hand. He didn't want to let Loona go at any time until they both were ready to leave the coffee shop.

"Excuse me..."

Snow looked up from his phone to find the shy female waitress with her serving tray in front of her. I want her to continue with her thought track. Snow motions for her to continue with his hand. Something the waitress wasn't expecting.

"I'm sorry. But the manager has asked me to ask you and your hellhound to leave the premises. As, in his words, not mine. He says that we don't serve flea-ridden mutts in this establishment."

Loona was furious. But, when she was about to rise out of her seat to go give the manager a piece of her mind. Snow held his hand up and said calmly.

"Allow me, darling."

That wasn't a request. From what Loona could see, that was a demand. It was a demand to the hound for her to allow Snow to get up and go instead of her. Seeing the calm anger in her husband's eyes. And, going back to her phone. Snow kissed Loona on the cheek before entering the establishment.

Loona had no time to go back to her phone. Because, the minute she looked back towards the screen, the sound of a window smashing. And, seeing someone trying to scramble to his feet. A moustached demon is seen at the mercy of Snow. He stalked the, now, cowering demon who dared discriminate against Snow's wife.

"What's the matter asshole? Sword in your face stopping you from being racist now I'm choosing to fight back?!"

The demon didn't know what to do with the falchion's blade edge staring him in the face. Despite being at Snow's mercy. The demon tries to weasel his way out with his words.

"Listen, I didn't mean a word I said, honest! Please, let me live!"

Snow looked at the witnesses that were now gathering around the scene the hybrid was causing. Hell, Loona even had her phone recording the incident with a smile on her face from her husband defending her. But, because he just wanted to scare the imp. He places the sword down by his side. Looked at the demon in disgust before turning away. He never even got close to Loona when the demon decided that Snow's threat was a bluff.

"You're not so tough anyway, Snow. Take your diseased riddled mutt and go home."

Snow paused mid-step at that word he had to apologise to Loona for saying earlier that morning. Sighing in agitation. And, with a look towards his wife. Snow turns back around. And, with his burning anger now returning to his face. The male charges back at the demon. And, with a tap on the demon's shoulder. Eric sends the demon flying with a right hand to the face. Instead of showing mercy to the demon as he had done before. He mounted the demon on one knee and, with fists clenched. The hybrid began raining shots down onto the demon's face. Much to the crowd's horror and, Loona's now shocked face while she was recording.

Snow was letting out centuries of rage with each punch raining down on the racist demon under him. All he saw was red.

"CALL HER A DISEASED MUTT AGAIN! GO ON! YOU FUCKING COWARD! CALL MY WIFE A DISEASED MUTT ONE MORE FUCKING TIME!"

No one wanted to step in and stop the raging male. He was incensed about killing the manager of the coffee shop. All he wanted, was a simple coffee date with Loona to make up for the lost time. Now? His knuckles were covered in blood from his blood dripping from his knuckles. And, from the blood of the demon under him.

The only time Snow stopped was when Balthazar appeared. He hadn't seen him until the hybrid had his arm restrained by the black-winged angel mid-punch. When he did see him. Snow was still angry at the stoically staring male holding onto his arm. With a few words, Balthazar spoke evenly.

"That's enough, Lazarus. You've proved your point."

Snow paused. No emotion, nothing. He just stared at everyone and, his mind went blank from the rage he had just displayed in front of people. Before anyone could get a word in. Snow left without a word. Loona was the only one who wanted to get close to him. And, taking her husband's blood-covered hand, she speaks.

"Thank you."

Snow lets out a small smile. As long as he had Loona in this world. Fuck what the others think. They may fight and argue. But, their love would remain strong.
