Disclaimer: I do not own The Loud House or Pokemon.

"WHAT?!"shouted every single member of the Loud family besides Lincoln, who had covered his ears to protect his precious eardrums from the loud yelling of his family.

'It's now or never!' thought Lincoln as he uncovered his ears, before he turned to face his family.

"I know I'm asking a lot."said Lincoln, before he was interrupted.

"No shoot you're asking a lot!"said Lori, as what Lincoln was asking was the most ludicrous thing she's ever heard.

"Yeah, dude! Your only 11! How on Earth can you go to Japan by yourself!"said Luna, feeling like Lincoln was asking for too much.

"Is this some kind of joke? Because if it is, I'm waiting for the punchline."said Luan, waiting for the punchline that would never come.

"Are you finished?"inquired Lincoln, causing his family to go silence.

"Look. I know asking to go to Japan by myself is a lot to ask. But at some point I'm going to leave the house to explore the world to see what I'm good at, and professor Birch has giving me that chance a little early. So I want to take it while I still have a chance."said Lincoln, before he looked over at his parents.

"Mom, Dad, I know I'm putting you guys an awkward position, but please. Please let me go meet up with professor Birch! I need to do this! It's not a permanent thing as I'll come back."said Lincoln, pleading with his parents to allow him to go.

"Everyone besides Lincoln, go upstairs."said Lynn Sr, causing a few of his daughters to mumble complaints.

"He means now!"shouted Rita while pointing towards the stairs, causing the Loud sisters to go upstairs while grumbling.

A few seconds later the sounds of their doors being shut could be heard, indicating that they were in their rooms.

"Lincoln, what is going on?"inquired his father, wondering why Lincoln wanted to go to Japan by himself to stay with someone he's never met.

"I wasn't feeling like myself lately and this letter in the mail feels like a miracle."spoke Lincoln."I know I don't know professor Birch, but this opportunity sounds like the opportunity of a lifetime has let's face it guys, we would never be able to afford a trip to Japan."

Neither of his parents could disagree with Lincoln statement as they knew it was true. Although they love all their children dearly, they know that eleven children plus their extra curricular activities and passions can cost a lot... so it would be a miracle if even one of them could take a vacation.

"Lincoln, where is all of this coming from?"inquired his mother, wondering what Lincoln was up to.

"Haaaa... I'm just feeling down after what happened yesterday."said Lincoln, causing his parents to look at him with a confused look.

"What do you mean?"inquired Lynn Sr, wanting to know what Lincoln meant by that.

"Yesterday I saw how amazing my sisters are when they all won first place in their competitions! But me, I don't have a single trophy to show for anything other than that pity trophy the girls gave me for being the best brother."said Lincoln, pointing over to the trophy case which was filled with his sisters trophies, well his spot only had one pity trophy...

"Ohhhhh..."said Rita and Lynn Sr, realizing that seeing your sisters excel at something while you didn't can put someone down so to speak.

"I mean, you're good at a lot of things Lincoln. After all, if it wasn't for you, we would have never made it for any of those competitions."said Rita, with her husband nodding her head in agreement.

It was true, without Lincoln's coordination skills none of the Loud sisters would have made it to their events to succeed like they did.

"But the point is that I tried everything I could here in Royal Woods to excel, and we all know how that went."said Lincoln, before he reminded his parents of his past failures.

"Remember when I tried out for karate?"inquired Lincoln, causing his parents to remember that he had to go to the hospital after trying to break a wooden board.

"Remember when I tried to enter that Marathon?"said Lincoln, reminding his parents that they had to go pick him up hours later, when everyone else left.

"And remember that video competition that I ended up losing?"said Lincoln, pointing at the pity trophy in question.

That made Lincoln's parents remember that Lincoln had to publicly embarrass himself after he accidentally humiliated his sister's online.

"Okay, but I'm sure there's something else you can try."said Rita, feeling like there was something else that Lincoln could try to earn a trophy like his sisters.

"What, mom? I literally tried everything Royal woods has to offer. Sure I've read every Ace Savvy comic book twice. Sure I can sing. Sure I'm the fifth best Junior magician here in Royal Woods. And Sure, I did get an 8 plus in my history report. But we all know that my sisters beat me in those categories... I just want something that it's just for Lincoln, and I feel like Professor Birch is the one who can give it to me."said Lincoln, once again telling the truth, as he feels this Pokemon trainer business could be his thing.

"Hmm... well he does make a point."said Lynn Sr, causing his wife to look at him.

"Lynn!"shouted Rita, unable to believe that her husband said such a thing.

"Rita, we owe Professor Birch a lot. If it wasn't for him giving us that money as a wedding present, we would have never have been able to afford this house. He never even asked for the money back or any kind of favor, and the only time he asked for something is for Lincoln to come to Japan to help him with his research. Now, I know it's a lot to ask to send our 11 year old son to Japan, but this is something he wants to do, Rita. I know I'm not happy about Lori heading off to college in a few months... but maybe this will help mentally prepare myself for the day Lori leaves for Fairway University."said Lynn Sr, making his wife realize that he did bring up several good points.

Professor Christopher Birch did do a lot for them... and the one thing he asked isn't too unreasonable...

Plus she knows how much of a mess her husband will be when their oldest child leaves for college... she's already heard him crying several times about Lori not leaving and all that... so she wonders if this is a good idea.

It's not like it's a permanent thing, it's just Lincoln going to go help a family friend with his research, what could be so bad about that?

"I still don't know..."said Rita, who was on the fence about the whole thing.

"Come on, mom. It won't cost you guys anything and realistically it will actually help you guys with some finances."said Lincoln, making his parents look at him once more.

"What do you mean?"inquired Rita.

"Me not being here will be one less mouth to feed, one less person to compete over the bathroom, one less person you have to stop when we get into a fight cloud. And I'll even add a cherry on top. I'll give up my allowance for the next several months while I'm in Japan. That way you two can save up a little bunny for something nice. And a professor Birch gives me money for his research, I'll send some of that money to you guys, that way they will be help with the finances."said Lincoln, who felt like this Pokemon trainer business could earn him some serious coin.

Coin he could use to help his family in the long run.

"Hmmm... okay we'll make you a deal."said Rita, who looked over at her husband, who nodded his head in agreement.

"What deal?"inquired Lincoln.

"Promise to be on your best behavior and do everything professor Birch tells you to do, then we'll let you go."said Rita, feeling like that's the least Lincoln could do.

"I promise!"said Lincoln with zero hesitation, as he was planning to do that anyway.

"We owe that meant a lot and you helping him with his research is the least we can do to repay him for helping us pay the down payment for this house."said Lynn Sr."So, when do you want to go to the airport?"

"Well this plane ticket expires tomorrow so today would be nice."said Lincoln, pulling the plane ticket out of his pocket and revealing that it went back tomorrow.

"Isn't that a little too sudden?!"said Rita with shock, feeling it was not enough time to mentally prepare herself for one of her children leaving.

"I promise to come back! And when I do, you'll see a new Lincoln."said Lincoln, before he gave his parents a big hug.

"Oh... just don't cause him any trouble. Now go pack up everything you need and we'll get you to the airport as fast as possible."said Lynn Sr, who look like he was about to cry.

"No problemo!"said Lincoln, before he made his way up the stairs, and headed towards his room so he could pack up for his trip to Hoenn.

"Are you sure we're making the right choice, Lynn? I know we owe Professor Birch a lot, but is this the way we can repay him?"inquired Rita, having second thoughts about sending Lincoln to Japan.

"Rita, we already gave Lincoln our word. If we go back on it now, Lincoln will never look at us the same. This is something that he really wants to do, and although I don't like it, both you and I as parents need to support his passions like we supported his sister's passions."said Lynn Sr, who despite feeling heartache felt like he was being a good father at that moment.

"Haaaaa... I suppose you have a point. I've never seen Lincoln so excited about anything else before. We supported our daughters passions, now it's time we support our son's passion. Although... I wonder why he's so excited about being a research assistant?"said Rita, wondering if there was more to this than Lincoln was letting them know.

"I'm sure Lincoln is not telling us everything, but I have a pretty good idea why."said Lynn Sr, before he pointed up to the stairs where he saw his daughters glaring at Lincoln as he packed.

"Ohhhhh!"said Rita, realizing what her husband was implying.

Lincoln was leaving several details out, but that was because he didn't want his sisters to meddle. She you better than everyone that her daughters love to metal with her son, but Lincoln was not allowed to do it the other way around. She knew it was hypocritical of her daughter's to do that, but then again she knew how unreasonable her daughters can be, so she just leave it alone as it's less of a headache.

Now that Lincoln has finally passionate about something, she knows that he doesn't want his sisters to meddle. That is why he left several key details out of the family meeting... that way his sister's couldn't mess with it and possibly mess it up.

Like they've done several times before when Lincoln tried to do something... like when they ate all the chocolate for his cookie business...

"Haaa... Lincoln may be hiding something but I guess for his sake it's better if he leaves it like that. I just hope we don't regret making this decision later."said Rita, while she and her husband looked up the stairs.

A few seconds later Lincoln came down with his duffel bag, filled with essential items like extra underwear, extra clothes, toilet paper, comic books, etc.

"I'm not taking any food as we all know the TSA is a nightmare if you try to bring food on an airplane."said Lincoln, before showing both of his parents that he did not have any snacks in his duffel bag m

"Good idea son, as the last time I tried to bring food onto an airport to TSA almost strip search me."said Lynn Sr, shuttering as he remembered the thought of a latex glove almost touching his butt.

"Let's get you to the airport, before I change my mind."said Rita, causing her husband and son to quickly make their way Vanzilla, with her following behind with the keys.

Lincoln, Lynn Sr, and Rita made their way to the van, before each of them got inside, with Lincoln taking The 'Sweet spot', or the best seat in Vanzilla!

The white haired middle child was so excited it has his parents agreed to send him to Hoenn without so much as kicking off us. He knew they suspected that he was hiding something, but they correctly guess that he had those details as he did not want his sister to meddle!

He didn't want to hide the fact about Pokemon from them... he just didn't want them to meddle in his Pokemon trainer debut! He needed to do this on his own if he was ever going to show everyone in Royal Woods that he is just as special as his sisters! Meaning he had to do this alone!

His sisters chased after their passions alone, and that got them to where they are right now! Now she needed to do the same, and in order to do the same, he needed the conviction to go to Japan and meet with his professor Birch character!

He wondeds what kind of guy this Professor Birch was, and if he would give him a Pokemon to start his journey on?

Lincoln couldn't wait to meet the Pokemon that would start off his journey!

Whoever he or she is, Lincoln was sure they were going to be the best of friends!

"Okay, let's get you something to eat and then we go to the airport."said Rita, while her husband was turning on Vanzilla.

"Makes sense."said Lincoln, before his stomach rumbled which made him blush with embarrassment.

"How about some burping Burger."suggested Lynn Sr, feeling like Lincoln would love to go to the family's favorite burger joint.

"Agreed!"said Lincoln with zero hesitation, as I send off burger is something he would enjoy as his final meal in Royal woods for the next several weeks.

"Yeah!"said Lynn Sr, Rita, and Lincoln as Vanzilla drove out of the driveway and began driving through Franklin Street.

A few seconds after Vanzilla left the driveway, the loud sisters quickly make their way down the stairs to look through the window.

"I can't believe it. Lincoln is literally going to Japan without us."said Lori, before she started growling with anger.

"How come that professor bench guy gave Lincoln a plane ticket and not us."said Leni, feeling like it was not fair.

"It's Professor Birch, dude. And I agree with you on that."said Luna, correcting her older sister before agreeing with her.

"This is so not funny at all. I love Japanese game shows since they're hilarious!"said Luan, who was jealous that Lincoln got to go and she didn't.

"And I've always wanted to do parkour in Tokyo!"said Lynn, angry that Lincoln is going but she didn't.

"He said he's going to a set of islands off the coast of the Kyushu region... That's a little far off Tokyo."said Lucy, who knew this as she studied Japanese urban legends, and ended up learning a lot about Japan and it's geography.

"Does Lincoln have no idea how good I look in a kimono! Now he gets to go somewhere while we have to stay here!"said Lola, angry that Lincoln left without them.

"I'm sure there's an explanation for this."said Lana, willing to give Lincoln the benefit of the doubt after everything he did for them yesterday.

"I say we going to his room and search! He must have left a clue as to his real reason for going with professor Birch."said Lisa, causing the rest of her sisters to voice their agreement before they headed up the stairs.

They quickly made their way to Lincoln's bedroom and broke down the door! A few seconds later every Loud sister was looking for every nook and cranny of their brother's bedroom, trying to find something Lincoln left behind.

"Ah, there's literally nothing! How did Lincoln stop his entire bedroom into his duffel bag?! He literally took everything he valued with him."said Lori, noticing that most of Lincoln's valuables besides the stuff he could not carry was gone.

"Yeah, most of his wardrobe is gone too. And I know I'm not the sharpest tool in the... place where you put the knives... but even I know he couldn't have fit that much clothes into his duffle bag."said Leni, who was not aware that Lincoln used his trainer cube to store his clothes away.

And that his trainer cube was the reason that he could carry so much stuff with him in the first place!

"Dude, he didn't even leave that letter behind!"said Luna, trying to find the letter that Professor Birch sent Lincoln.

"Yeah! It was like that letter never existed in the first place!"said Luan, before the Loud sisters came to a realization.

"What if there was no such letter? What if Lincoln is making all of this up?"suggested Lynn, causing many of her sisters to come to the same conclusion.

"Yeah! If Lincoln had received such a letter, I would have seen it on my spy camera."said Lisa, causing her sister to look at her.

"You have a camera in Lincoln's room?"inquired Lucy.

"I have hidden cameras in all of your rooms."said Lisa, shocking her siblings.

"What?!"shouted Lola, wanting Lisa to repeat herself.

"Nothing!"said Lisa, trying to avoid the question as she shifted her eyes left and right at a fast pace, all the while sweat fell off of her for forehead.

"Hmmm... so what are you guys saying?"questions Lana, wanting to know what was really going on.

"Well we kind of forgot Lincoln at the restaurant yesterday... so maybe he's doing this to get back at us!"suggested Lori, who realized last night that Lincoln was not with them in the van and that he had walked home.

"Yeah! I bet that's what it is! He's just upset that he didn't end up in the photo."said Luan, feeling like that was the case.

"I'm sure Lincoln is telling Mom and Dad the real reason right now and is telling them to take him to Clyde's house or something. I that we'll see him at school Monday morning!"said Lynn, feeling like that was what was happening.

"But school won't be open until next Wednesday."said Lucy, reminding her sisters that school was closed for the week.

"Oh yeah...The teachers are on that retreat and they won't be back until Wednesday."said Lisa, remembering that the school district had an annual retreat for their educators.

And they wouldn't be back until Tuesday afternoon.

"Okay, so we'll see Lincoln on Wednesday! I'm sure he just hurt that we accidentally left them behind. And that he's doing all of this convoluted professor Birch nonsense to teach us a lesson."said Luna, feeling that had to be the case.

"But then how did Lincoln know about professor Birch in the first place?"asked Leni, who brought up a good point.

The Loud sisters had no response for this. Leni did bring up a good point and they didn't know how to answer that. How did Lincoln know about Professor Christopher Birch when their father has never mentioned it before. How could Lincoln know about him if he didn't even know he existed.

"I'm sure he figured it out through the albums in the Attic or something."said Lola, with the rest of the Loud sisters agreeing that had to be the case.

"Well, I don't know about you guys but we have to get ready for our interview with the newspaper. So I suggest we get ready when Mom and Dad get home."said Lori, before she and the rest of her sisters left Lincoln's bedroom as they figured Lincoln was lying about the hole going an island off the coast of Japan stuff.

"Nice try, Lincoln! But you're a million years too early before you can get the drop on your sisters."said Lola, before she closed the bedroom door to Lincoln's bedroom behind her.

What the Loud sisters didn't realize is that Lincoln was telling the truth and that right now their parents are taking Lincoln to the airport so he could go to that set of islands off the coast of Japan. Lincoln was not lying about going to Hoenn and all of that... he just left out key details as he didn't want them meddling with his affairs to become a official Pokemon trainer.

And that is exactly what would happen as his road to be coming up Pokemon trainer was now paved!

(After some negotiating with his parents, Lincoln ends up with their approval to send him to Hoenn! Now his mother and father drive him to the airport, where his journey will officially begin as he sets for for Littleroot Town, located in the Hoenn region. What await Lincoln and Hoenn as he journeys to a world that he never knew that existed until now? What will be his starter Pokemon? Only time will tell as Lincoln's Journey officially begins)

(To Be Continued)

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, Stretegus here.

Lincoln has now officially been allowed to go to Hoenn.

I rewatched a lot of loud House episodes to make the scene seem believable. I really went in depth with the characters to make sure I got their response to Lincoln leaving without them just right. I'm sure if this was a Canon episode, the Loud sisters would have reacted the same way, with them believing that Lincoln had lied about the whole thing.

Only to realize later that Lincoln was telling the truth the whole time.

The chapter after this one, which will be chapter 5 will be with a chapter where Lincoln gets his starter Pokemon.

Now, his starter Pokemon has already been decided as it's my favorite Hoenn starter.

But if you guys want to guess which starter Pokemon Lincoln got, feel free to leave a comment or send me a private message with your answer.

Now, let me remind you all that this is not a vote system as the starter Pokemon has been decided!

I'm just letting you know that you have a chance to guess, so when chapter 5 rolls around, you can see if you were right or wrong!

I'm having a lot of fun writing this people as writing in public is a lot more fun than I thought it would be. I love hearing all the positive and negative reviews I receive.

It will make me a great writer as the years go by!

That is all I wanted to say, so I'll see you next time.

Strategus, out!
