(Royal Woods - The Loud House - Lori and Leni's bedroom)
As Lincoln was getting taken to the airport by his parents, his oldest sister is Lori and Leni were currently sitting in their room. Everyone was kind of mad that Lincoln decided to do something without them, but they couldn't do anything about it so they decided to cool off in their rooms.
"Hey Lori..."said Leni, getting her older sister's attention.
"What is it, Leni?"asked Lori while she was looking at her phone.
"Don't you think we're kind of being big jerks right now?"said Leni, making Lori stop looking at her phone she she could look at Leni.
"What do you mean?"inquired Lori, wanting to know what her roommate meant by that.
"Well, after Lincoln helped us with everything yesterday. Should we really be mad at him for wanting to do something without us? I mean, that sounds like kind of a jerky thing to do."said Leni, who was feeling guilty about being mad at Lincoln, especially after everything that happened yesterday.
"I'm sure he's just mad that he had to walk home."said Lori while rolling her eyes.
"Why did he walk home yesterday?"inquired Leni, who couldn't remember why Lincoln walked home l, instead of riding in Vanzilla with the rest of them.
"Because he left the restaurant, and we didn't notice he was not in the van until we reach Franklin Street. By then we couldn't tell Mom and Dad that Lincoln was not in the van, that would have literally been a disaster after everything."said Lori, reminding Leni why they didn't tell their parents that Lincoln was not in Vanzilla yesterday."Besides, he made it home in one piece and that's all that matters."
"Well... I've decided not to be mad at him anymore and wait for him to come home from Clyde's house on Wednesday. I'm sure he'll be feeling better by then."said Leni, before she got off from her bed and began making her way to the bedroom door.
"Where are you going?"questions Lori, wondering where her roommate was going.
"I'm going to spruce up Lincoln's bedroom a bit as we did leave it as a big mess."said Leni, before she walked out of the bedroom and began heading to Lincoln's bedroom.
"I swear that girl is too nice for her own good sometimes."said Lori, before she began to think about everything that happened yesterday.
If it wasn't for Lincoln, none of them would have made it to their events and earned the trophies they earned on the Loud wall of fame. Maybe Leni had a point for once and they were being unreasonable jerks...After all, she knew better than anyone that most of the Loud sisters tended to never admit they were wrong... until things got out of hand...Maybe she should be the bigger person for once and admit that Lincoln should do whatever he's planning by himself, even without including them.
"I doubt Lynn and Lola would give in easily though."said Lori, realizing that the two most stubborn members of the family will not admit they are wrong until things get out of hand.
And since that point has not happened yet... all she can do is wait to see what happens and hopefully Lincoln does come back on Wednesday from Clyde's house.
Surely he was not serious about going to some island off the coast of Japan...Right?
"Dude, what's Leni doing in Lincoln's bedroom?"inquired Luna, causing Lori to break from her train of thought.
"Oh, she just feeling bad about being mad at Lincoln and hopes to make it up by cleaning his room."said Lori, who decided to tell the truth as she had no reason to cover for Leni.
"Why? I thought we agreed we should all be mad at Lincoln. We stick together as a family, and that rule hasn't changed."said Luan, who appeared next to Luna.
"Yeah... but it's not like Lincoln has many things going for him. Maybe would you cut him a break...I mean, he did help us out yesterday with our tournaments and all that."said Lori, knowing she wouldn't have her first place golf trophy if it wasn't for Lincoln.
"...I don't know, dude. I understand where the little dude is coming from, and I've been thinking maybe we've been unreasonable and all that. And I can let a lot of things go, as that's the rocker lifestyle. But we all know that certain members of our family are not the kind of people to let things go."said Luna, before she pointed to something in the hallway.
Lori got it from her bed and followed her tomboy sister to Lynn and Lucy's bedroom. There they saw Lynn hitting her punching bag with a picture of Lincoln on it. Luan then brought Lori over to Lola and Lana's bedroom, where they saw Lola attacking a teddy bear with Lincoln's photo taped to the front...
'Okay, this is going to be easier said than done.' thought Lori, realizing that getting the rest of the loud sisters to let go of their unreasonable anger against Lincoln was going to be a very tall order.
Especially when it came to Lola and Lynn.
Meanwhile, at the Royal Woods airport, Lynn Sr was trying to find a parking space, which was easier said than done as it was an airport in airports tended to be full when it came to their parking lots...
"Ahhh... I can't believe we're having this much trouble finding a parking space."said Lynn Sr, wondering why he was having so much trouble finding a parking spot in the ding dang airport.
"Just keep looking honey."said Rita, before she looked at her son who was in the backseat.
"Sweetie, I know we already agreed to send you to that island off the coast of Japan. But are you sure you have to leave so suddenly?"inquired the mother of eleven.
"I told you Mom, these plane tickets go bad tomorrow so it has to be today. I know it's a little too sudden, but what else can I do. If I let these expire who knows when's the next time professor Birch will send new ones... that could take forever and we're not paying for new ones."said Lincoln, who knew that the family budget couldn't afford plane tickets to some island off the coast of Japan, that would be insanely expensive.
"Oh, I just wish your sister's weren't so unreasonable right now and had come with us to send you off."said Rita, feeling like her daughters were being complete jerks right now.
"They let their emotions get the better of them, honey. I mean, I kind of understand where they're coming from since Lincoln is going on a trip and they're not. But this is Lincoln's trip that's only for Lincoln, and we can't exactly afford to get ten extra tickets for Japan."said Lynn Sr "Besides, the girls have to learn sooner or later that life's not fair."
"I suppose you have a point. I just wish we could send Lincoln on a proper send off like a family."said Rita, feeling like the family should be closer than this, especially with all the stuff that went down yesterday.
"Dont worry, Mom. I know my sisters and I know they will eventually get over it. It may take certain some of them longer to get over there supposed anger."said Lincoln, who was not surprised one bit that his sisters reacted the way they did.
After all, a lot of them have expressed wanting to go to Japan for various reasons and although he technically wasn't going to the mainland, it was basically the same thing. He can only imagine how angry they'll be when they figure out about the existence of Pokemon, and that Lincoln knew about that beforehand and didn't tell them.
He knew some of them would probably turn him into a human pretzel... but considering the rewards, he felt like it was worth it.
'I know my sisters are going to be upset that I didn't tell them about Pokemon. But this is my chance to really find out if I'm good at something or not! I've always been good at strategy since I'm the man with the plan, so maybe being a Pokemon trainer is my calling in life! I'll definitely tell my sisters later when I'm settled in, but for now I'll keep them in the dark as they'll want to meddle and I can't let the meddle until I have everything secured on my end.' thought Lincoln to himself, before he hurt his father shot with joy.
"Finally!"said Lynn Sr, who found a parking space and drove in just as a guy on a motorcycle drove in and tried to take the parking spot for himself.
It was too late, since Vanzilla was closer and managed to secure the parking spot before the guy on the motorcycle had a chance to cut Lynn Sr off. This action infuriated the man on the motorcycle, who started yelling several profanities at the loud family, before giving them the bird and driving off.
"What a very rude man!"said Rita as she was covering Lincoln's eyes.
"Yeah! Some people!"said Lynn Sr, who was covering Lincoln's ears.
"What did that guy do?"questions Lincoln, who didn't see or hear anything thanks to his parents protecting him from hearing or seeing what that man did, as they didn't want Lincoln copying that rude man's actions.
"Okay, let's head into the terminal and go meet up with someone in the front desk to get Lincoln on a plane..."said Rita, before she, her husband, and their son got out of Vanzilla.
They quickly made their way out of the van, close the doors behind them, and walked out of the parking lot. As they were making their way to the terminal, they saw many kinds of people doing a bunch of things as they were either answering or exiting the airport. Lincoln spotted a businessman who looked like he had been overworked. Rita saw to police officers escorting a man out of the airport. And Lynn Sr saw a man whose shirt was so long that he wasn't sure if he was wearing pants or not... he mentally decided in that very moment to stay away from that man.
Within moments, all members of the loud family made it into the airport and quickly made it to the reception where a woman wearing a stewardess uniform happily talk to them.
"Can I help you?"inquired the female airport employee.
"Um, I like to use this plane ticket."said Lincoln nervously as he handed the female employee the ticket.
"Oh yes, right this way."said your female airport employee as she typed the thing into her computer."If you'll follow me, I'll escort you to the private airfield."
"Just give us a moment."said Rita, before she and her husband got on their knees so they could talk to their son.
"Lincoln, I know this is a lot to ask but please be on your best behavior. Don't do anything that will risk your life."said Rita, feeling like she need to tell that to her son as Lincoln had a tendency to put himself in danger if he thought someone else was in danger.
"Okay."said Lincoln, who had no problem agreeing to that.
"And don't upset Professor Birch.. He's a good man who helped us out during some of our more... financially unstable years of marriage. Help him out with his research. And like your mother said, don't do anything dangerous."said Lynn Sr, feeling like this is some advice he should give Lincoln before they part ways for who knows how long.
"Mom, Dad, I'm going to be fine. It's true that I can be selfish and irresponsible at times, but at the end of the day I always do the right thing. Don't worry, I'll definitely come back and when I do I'll show you two something that will make you two very proud of me."said Lincoln, before he gave his parents a big hug.
"Now let me see if I finally found something I'm good at."said Lincoln, referring to becoming a Pokemon trainer.
"Okay, but you better come back in one piece!"said Rita, before she returned her son's hug.
"Yeah! We don't want you getting seriously hurt or anything!"said Lynn Sr, before he hugged his son as well.
The hug lasted a few more seconds before they broke it off. Lincoln smiled at his parents well he waved them goodbye,as he followed the female airport employee to the private airstrip part of the airport. Rita and Lynn Sr were waving their son goodbye as they left the airport as well.
Tears of Joy fell down their face as they realized how mature their son must be for going somewhere on his own, so far away from home and not even cry about it. It was clear to both parents that their little man with a plan had some big plans on that island off the coast of Japan, and whatever they were, he would come back and show them something that would make them so proud of him.
They couldn't wait to find out what it was!
Meanwhile, Lincoln follow the female airport employee to a plane that was read on top, white on the bottom, and had a black line in the middle. He immediately recognized that the small aircraft was themed after a pokeball. He then noticed a man wearing a typical pilot uniform approach the plane.
"The Pokemon League is happy to sponsor your trip to the Hoenn region. We hope you enjoy your flight."said the pilot, before emotions for Lincoln to climb the stairs so he can head inside the plane.
And that is exactly what Lincoln did as he quickly made his way up the stairs, and what he saw next made him have stars in his eyes. The inside of the plane look like one of those planes millionaires and possibly billionaires could afford. Everything look like it was the best of airport luxury as the seats look like they were made at the softest fabric you could find. Lincoln quickly confirmed that as he sat down.
"Peanuts or pretzels?"inquired the pilot as he pulled out a bowl full of peanut bags and pretzel bags.
"Oh, pretzels."said Lincoln, who took a few bags of pretzels.
"We hope you enjoy your stay in Hoenn. Just a reminder I will take about ten to twelve hours to arrive at our destination. I hope you can keep yourself occupied until then."said the pilot, before he went to the cockpit.
"I'll try my best."said Lincoln, before he opened a bag of pretzels and began eating the delicious salty content inside said bag.
The airport pilot meanwhile was doing everything a pilot needs to do before he could take off. He press some buttons and move some levers. He then put on a headset and inquired the airport tower if he was cleared for liftoff. A few minutes later he got a response that it was all clear. Once he got that confirmation, the pilot turned on the plane and began driving it down the airstrip.
Lincoln meanwhile secure his seatbelt as he waited for the pilot to take off. He was so excited as once he got to hoen and got to Littleroot Town, his journey as a Pokemon trainer would officially begin when he meets up with his grandfather's old friend, Professor Birch.
He wondered what kind of starter Pokemon he would get from the professor, as the ones he saw in the Pokedex looked extremely interesting. He had one in mind that was particularly interesting for him. Lincoln couldn't wait to meet that starter Pokemon and get one of that species to become his first Pokemon.
The playing carrying Lincoln meanwhile finally took off into the sky and began moving in the direction of Japan, the Land of the rising Sun!
Vanzilla on the other hand drove out of the airport with two proud parents crying tears of joy as their son set off on his journey to explore the world and find himself!
Little do they know that he's going to a world that they never thought existed in their world until now. Now Lincoln can officially say that he has taken the first step to becoming a Pokemon trainer by finally making his way to Hoenn! What would he encounter on the small archipelago off the coast of Japan.
Only time will tell as Lincoln officially takes the first official step to becoming a Pokemon trainer!
(As somenof his sisters are wondering if they are being unreasonable jerks. Lincoln finally takes the first step necessary to go to Hoenn and become a Pokemon trainer. Now he must make it to Hoenn, or more specifically Littleroot Town. What will Lincoln encounter on his journey to meet up with Professor Birch, the man who will give him his first Pokemon? It makes sense then the best grass starter Pokemon gets his debut as Lincoln's starter Pokemon!
Now that the starter Pokemon has officially been decided, I hope everyone can understand and live with their decisions.
Next chapter Lincoln will get his starter Pokemon.
That is all I have to say.
