Days Later
"You've already been there done that Nate."
"You and Haley have four kids. Jamie. Lydia. In high school. Then Ryder and Naomi later on."
"How were the pregnancies.?" Lucas asked.
Nathan looked to his brother. As their meals and drinks were brought to the table.
"Well i remember all of them. Haley was moody with Jamie and Lydia. With the last two it was a smooth pregnancy."
"I mean we were closer then ever." Nathan replied.
"I take it you're asking because you and Brooke are hitting a rough patch. I don't have the perspective given the situation the both of you are dealing with."
"All i know for sure is this pregnancy takes a toll on you in every way. I'm well aware. You can be honest and open with me."
"We're brothers afterall. Fatherhood is life changing in the greatest way possible."
" Being a husband has requirements and expectations."
"To make it work long term. Brooke is vunerable right now. In a way she's never experienced."
"Her life body moods. Are all over the place."
"She's taking it out on you because you're there by her side." Nathan explained.
"What am i supposed to do about that.?" Lucas asked.
"Give the space she's asking for. But be available. Show up in the ways she needs."
"Ted and Victoria abandoned her for years."
"When she needed them the most. Brooke is starting to push you."
"Wanting to see what you're limit is to see if you will walk away too." Nathan explained.
"I basically accused Lucas of wanting someone else."
"Which went over badly. No surprise. Besides feeding me and basic things. Things between us are quiet."
"He's got his walls up now and i don't blame him."
"He's been doing everything possible to support me and i basically acted like none of that mattered." Brooke confessed.
"The two of you really need to talk and lay everything out."
"Pregnancy is a huge test for couples. Especially high risk ones."
"He loves you. Believe that. Trust him." Peyton advised.
