"I can't give you an answer on that yet."
"I look forward to when we can have these work trips and turn them into family trips." Lucas replied.
"Me too. I love any family time we get to spend together." Brooke stated matter of fact.
"You know saying no to you is basically impossible." Lucas said.
"Well that's the price i pay for being irresistible." Brooke said. With a smile.
Lucas leaned over and kissed her. Brooke pulled hm closer.
Brooke wrapped her legs around him. As he picked her up. And placed her on his desk.
"Lucas Scott. Someone could in." Brooke said. Gazing up at him.
"Not when the door is locked." Lucas replied.
"You just need to be quiet." Lucas added in.
"If only i could." Brooke said. Cupping his face with her hands.

Days Later
Lucas entered the office of his editor. Surprised to see it looking emptier then normal.
"Luke what can i do for you.?" The older man asked.
"I just wanted to talk about the book tour. What's happening in you're office? Redecorating?" Lucas asked.
"No plus i would pay someone else to do that. Me and my wife are divorcing and having all these memories in here is too much of a distraction." Arthur Glen explained.
"What happened? The two of you seemed so right for each other." Lucas questioned.
"Sometimes people change. What they want how they view the world and their future." Arthur replied.
"She said i had to choose the life we had or my career. And i choose my career. This life is a choice. People aren't going to always understand that or be willing to do what needs to be done."
"But this success and what comes with it is something i spent years working towards. If she is unwilling to do what it takes to be along for the ride then there is nothing i can do." Arthur explained.
"I should get to why i came here. Brooke wants to join me on the book tour." Lucas announced.
"I have no problem if she joins you as long as she isn't a distraction." Arthur replied.
