As the girls debated, Nova devised a plan and got Jupiter's attention. "HEY! Nova has an idea!" Jupiter's daughter shouted over the commotion.

Unable to speak, Nova pointed at the upper right-hand path, then the Inner Senshi and Asteroid. She did this for the Outer Senshi with Comet, Dark Kingdom Senshi with Rose, and the Princesses with Quartz, too! Jupiter explained the plan to Venus, Pluto, and Sun, who could not see what Nova said.

"Doing that gives us only a 20% chance that two of us will get our senses back!" Pluto argued.

"It's better than the 1% chance we'll have if we go one-by-one." Eclipse countered.

As there is no clear clue which path leads to which sense, the girls and kittens turn humans before they set off in the groups above into the opaque mist. Roshi smiled as they departed, half-sinister and half-pleased they had devised an ingenious plan! In short-sleeved shirts and mini skirts, the girls began noticing the cold, even though they had not been walking that long.

"Why does Roshi's realm have to be so cold?!" Mars complained.

"Maybe the heat is broken." Venus joked.

"Or maybe Roshi prefers it chilly." Jupiter sensibly said.

"Do you hear that?" Asteroid asked, quieting everyone.

Soon, the girls and Asteroid began to see/hear strange shadowy shapes and sounds in the distance. Thankfully, these shapes did not move closer, and the sounds were mechanical, so it was not as scary as otherworldly sounds could walk right up to the structure.

"It looks like some kind of obstacle course?" Jupiter guessed.

"From what you described, not like any challenge I've heard of before," Venus commented, shaking her head and making her red locks wave about.

Mercury pointed, and they saw (minus Gracie and Asteroid) Kikazaru darting about the area, finishing it up. When he saw them, he excitedly beckoned them forward.

"Seeing as this thing is smack dab in the middle of our path, we'll have to go through it anyway..." Jupiter grumbled, sounding irritable.

"How are we supposed to pass an obstacle course in our condition?!" Mars screamed indignantly.

"We've been doing it...Throughout the weeks, we've been making arrangements to accommodate each other's disability. This is just another hurdle." Venus explained as she began to understand and wrote this down for Mars.

Tiptoeing inside this gadget, it is dark and quiet, except for the sounds of the gears, but it is not loud at all.

"I couldn't see anything, and now, I can't hear much of anything either," Venus whined.

"It's less cold in here." Mars tried to look at the positives!

"Where did Kikazaru go?" Jupiter glanced around cautiously.

Suddenly, lights clicked on, carnival music played, and Kikazaru hurried in, giving Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter what looked like overview maps and walkie-talkies! Venus was assigned a walkie-talkie.

"What are we supposed to do with these?!" Mars noticed each map looked the same and had Venus's civilian and Asteroid's names written.

"We're in a maze!" Jupiter shouted in alarm as she started piecing their odd surroundings together!

Mercury scribbled down the revelation for Mars to read.

"What?! Why do I have a map with Venus's civilian and Asteroid's names?" Mars questioned.

"I think we're supposed to guide them through the maze?" Jupiter looked to Kikazaru, who nodded.

Mercury scribbled that explanation down, too. Her analytical blue eyes spotted the right directions in seconds! Her mom had taught Crystal to solve mazes quickly by starting with the exit and tracing her way back to the entrance! Also, she solved puzzles by beginning with the edge pieces and using the middle tile of tic-tac-toe toe first to win any round! Mercury tapped the other girl's shoulders to show them. After that, Kikazaru led Venus and Asteroid into the beginning of the maze!

Jupiter looked at the map, then up at her poor green-eyed friend and the white, black-tipped-haired teen, but her eyes showed she trusted they could get them out. "Left!"

Venus's daughter ran left, Asteroid beside her, but she slowed down when she realized she might crash into one of the walls. Her walkie-talkie crackled, and she heard Christen's eager voice, "Right. Turn right!"

Immediately, Venus spun on her heel to the right and pushed on. For minutes, it went on like this, with Jupiter and Mars following Crystal's viewpoint.

"OK. You should be in the center right now. Do you need a break?" Jupiter could hear Venus's labored breathing.

"Yes! This maze is complicated." Venus panted as she sat down.

"I'm tired!" Asteroid collapsed next to Gracie.

"It seems that way now because you two are blind, but you're both doing great. As long as you follow our directions, everything will be fine." Jupiter assured.

"I know we'll be OK. I wonder what the others are going through?" Venus mused.

"I'm sure our friends are dealing with their trials as well as we are." Asteroid turned his head towards Venus, though he still could not see her.

"That's not saying much as we're not in the easiest predicament either..." Venus said gloomily

"Hey, we'll be alright. I'm here for you." Asteroid hugged Venus as he could sense she was scared.

Soon, with Mars's voice snapping them out of their heartwarming moment, Venus and Asteroid are trekking through the maze again. It is tedious to listen to constant "right" and "left," but how else would they navigate? Strangely, Venus heard her friends cheer when she left the maze, but it sounded like they were right before her?!

"Girls?" Venus wanted to make sure she was not being deceived.

Mercury hugged her.

"Not much of a maze if you ask me. You just went in a big circle! What was the point of that?!" Mars laughed.

"If I never get my sight back, it was to prove I could trust my friends to aid me through life." Venus smiled cheerfully and mouthed "Thank you" to Mars.

Exiting the building, there is a faint glimmering in the air ahead. Racing towards it, it seems to be a shimmering, invisible bubble with a small, bright light inside it! Plain confusion is written on the group's faces.

"Venus...I think that's yours and Asteroid's sight." Jupiter concluded.

"WHAT?! WE PICKED THE WRONG PATH!" Mars burst into selfish tears and started spewing blueish-white flames again!

"MARS!" Jupiter wanted to scold her but did not want to get too close.

Mercury blasted water into Mars's face!

"Thanks. I'm better now..." Doused, Mars is in a bitter mood but a less hot one.

Slowly, Venus reached up and held the sphere in her hands for a second when it popped of its own accord, and the light touched Venus and Asteroid's eyes. They blinked, and piece by piece, their sight began to become restored.

"My sight!" Venus fluttered her emerald gaze as Mercury, Jupiter, and Asteroid joined her in celebration.
