Hours Later

Brooke thanked her parents for coming over to their house.

Lucas was never not on top of keeping in touch. Especially when he was away. Which is why Brooke drove to the airport and made her way to LA. On the first flight she could get.

Brooke knew the hotel where Lucas was staying. And found herself waiting outside his suite door.

"They love you. All the hard work and sacrifices. It's paying off now. I'm so proud of you." Arthur said.

"I couldn't of made it this far without you." Lucas replied.

He was taken aback by the sight of Brooke in the hallway.

"Why don't i give the two of you some privacy. My boy. It's there. The future you want. Don't lose focus now." Arthur said. Before turning back down the hallway.

"Brooke what's going on.?" "Are you and the boys okay.?" Lucas asked. His face full of concern.

"We're perfect Luke. I got this call from Arthur using you're phone he announced to me that the book tour is being extended."

"When i called you and texted i didn't get an answer. That isn't how we handle things. I got worried so i booked th first flight i could." Brooke explained.

"The tour being extended was so last minute. The fans they want more events and they are spread out all over."

"Arthur siggested we extend it. I wasn't going to bother you with that. Especially since you didn't want to go anyway." Lucas replied.

"That's a decision we should make together. Then i would of made sure to carve out time to join you." Brooke explained.

"I know everything got so busy and time just wouldn't slow down."

"It'll only be for a few more weeks. Then i'm back in town."

"These days you're more happy and content being at home. Why do all that travel?" Lucas asked.

"Because us spending time is all that matters. I'm going to stick around. I brought my luggage with me. All i need to do is call my parents." Brooke replied.

"I'm sorry Brooke. I didn't plan for that to happen. You call you're parents. And meet me in our suite." Lucas said. Handing her a copy of the suite key.
