I'm afraid once your heart is involved, it all comes out in moron.
A few weeks Later
"What are you looking at.?" Brooke asked. With a smile. As they carefully set down Lennon and Logan.
The boys quickly making their way towards the playground equipment.
Brooke gazed over lovingly at them.
"My beautiful wife. I can never take my eyes off of you."
"But you being pregnant and growing with life and how you're body is just even more curve filled and you're just a vision." Lucas replied.
"As loveky as that is. This is going to be our last baby. Especially since it's a girl. Us having a big family like this. It's beyond my wildest dream." Brooke stated matter of fact.
"That's fair. I think you already know i will be powerless against our daughter."
"I mean i already love her so much and she's not even here yet."
"You are officially 10 weeks. You're baby bump is very visible." Lucas said. Reaching over to put his hand on it.
"She is turning me into a rollercoaster of mood swings. Worse then when i was pregnant with the boys." Brooke replied.
"I know you've been impossible. But i love you. And will take whatever you dish out. I'm not the one giving birth so whatever you want or need i'm here." Lucas reassured her.
"I'm hungry. A burger. Fries and onion rings. A milkshake. Strawberry. And get anything you want." Brooke replied.
"I'll hold off on ordering until i get there. The three of you enjoy the park." Lucas said. Leaning over to kiss her gently.
Brooke kept a close eye on Logan and Lennon.
Her hand on her baby bump.
She was happy. Overjoyed. At peace.
This was her life now and nothing else mattered.
...
"It's funny how we keep bumping into each other Luke." Arthur said.
Lucas had just given the take out order Brooke wanted. Along with getting something for himself and the boys.
"I just finished having lunch with one of my kids." Arthur added in.
"I'm glad this happened. Last time we saw each other. I was taken aback and didn't say much."
"But i have to be honest." Lucas said.
Once Lucas got his orders he went out into the parking lot. Put the food in the backseat. Then went back out to talk to Arthur.
"Okay. I am taking a leave a absence. I have no start date pending regarding when i'll be back."
"The boys. Brooke's pregnant. I really am making my family a priority here. Given what you've gone through you can understand why it's so important to me."
"When and if i'm reading to start writing again. I'll reach out to you." Lucas stated matter of fact.
"How are things with you're kids really.?" Lucas questioned.
"We don't talk or see each other much anymore. They took their mom's side." Arthur explained.
"I'm sorry to hear that. I really should go now." Lucas said.
"I still have you and that means everything." Arthur replied.
