"Why not.?"
"You're mom is overjoyed that her grandsons are spending the night. I thought we would take the night to ourselves and enjoy the quiet. Have dinner and just be together." Brooke said.
"I'm actually meeting with Arthur. You wouldn't have a problem with that right.?" Lucas asked.
Brooke sighed deeply and looked back at him.
"I would actually." Brooke said. As she went into detail about her encounter with Arthur at the mall.
Lucas's eyes went wide once she finished talking.
He decided then to be honest with her as well.
They had always been that way before kids were in the picture. And they needed to get back to that.
"I think we rushed into having another baby so soon." Lucas admitted.
Brooke felt her heart drop. "What exactly are you saying Luke.?" She asked.
"We barely had a handle on the boys before you got pregnant again." Lucas replied.
"You seem to have forgotten you were pushing for another baby."
"You wanted this just as much as i did." Brooke said.
"I'm being honest. But that doesn't change that i want this babygirl."
"You know that." Lucas said.
"I'm going home. This whole conversation has just drained my energy. I don't want you to go back yet."
"He's using you to fill a void. He doesn't have his own children in his life. You know that. Why are you playing along.?" Brooke asked.
"I'm not playing along. I feel bad for him." Lucas replied.
Sometime Later
"Why are we meeting here instead of a restaurant.?" Arthur asked.
"We need to talk." Lucas replied.
The bridge nearby.
"You're fired." Lucas announced.
