King Derek-Ch 5

Derek woke up to an empty bed, he raised up and looked and Penelope's clothes were gone, had he pushed her too hard, had he gone to far to fast and lost the only woman that he's truly ever loved. He wouldn't lose her, he couldn't, not after what had just happened between them, he would make her see that they belonged together, that they had always belonged together", he threw the covers back, put his clothes on and headed out of the room in search of his baby girl.

He went through the house and couldn't find her, he then heard something outside in the back yard so he peeked out the backdoor and saw Penelope playing with Clooney, she was so adorable playing with the dog that loved her almost as much as he did. He stood watching in amazement for a few minutes, she was so free spirited, so kind hearted and he loved her so much, he loved her too much to lose her now.

When he saw Clooney run into his dog house he decided that now was the time to talk to her, to try to convince her that they belonged together, that they were soulmates", so he blew out a deep breath and stepped out the backdoor. She looked around when she heard the door open, her heart was racing as memories of their interludes from earlier filled her mind, not that those memories had ever left, she was so in love with him and now was the time to make him hers, forever.

Penelope smiled at him and said, "bet you thought you'd got lucky and got rid of me huh?", he walked straight over to her and pulled her into his arms and said, "please don't go, please don't leave me, stay, stay with me". She wrapped her arms around him and held him close, was he, was he afraid that she'd leave him, why would he ever think that she would leave him, surely he knew that she loved him with everything she had in her.

She stepped back and said, "I'm not going anywhere Derek", he said, "do you promise?", she laughed and said, "I do, I promise that I'm not leaving, I heard him whining, so I came outside to see what he was up to and then we just got to playing". Derek said, "that's all, so you weren't going to leave me?", she said, "that's all and no I wasn't planning on leaving you, I love you Derek why would I leave you?", he pulled her back into his arms and said, "don't leave me, don't ever leave me, stay with me forever".

Penelope said, "is that a proposal?", he said, "would you like it to be one?", she said, "what if I do?", Derek said, "if you want a proposal then I'll give you a proposal" and she watched in shock as he dropped to one knee. He said, "the ring is in my safety deposit box at the bank, I'll get it later", he then smiled up at her and said, "Penelope Grace Garcia, will you do me the honor of marrying me and not only becoming my wife but becoming my queen, forever?", she nodded her head and said, "yes your highness I'll marry you, I'll become your queen but I have a stipulation".

Derek looked at her and said, "name it", she grinned and said, "you have to become my king, can you do that?", he picked her up and tossed her on his back again and said, "consider it done my queen, consider it done". She started giggling as they headed back into the house, up the stairs and plopped back down on their bed, where they spent the rest of the day and night making love, only stopping long enough to grab something to eat late in the day and to go to the bathroom.

As the sun came up the next morning Penelope looked down on her now ring adorned finger and smiled, it was happening, she was going to marry the love of her life, her hotstuff, her angelfish, her everything. Derek tightened his arms around her and said, "I love you my queen", she grinned and said, "and I love you my king", they cuddled closer together and soon fell back asleep wrapped in nothing but each others arms.
