(shocker, I know)
Another quick A/N, there're major spoilers for all TMR books in here, not just the main three, so, you have been warned...
Prisoner A5
He woke with the cold realization that he wasn't dead. The fact that his heart was still beating despite his best efforts, mocking him in its own right.
As he became more and more aware he noticed small details about his current situation. He was leaning against what he guessed was a wall that was much harder than whatever he had been laying on earlier when he'd briefly returned back to the world of consciousness. And from what he could hear he was either alone or whoever was with him was being extremely quiet.
He stayed completely motionless, only tensing just slightly when the sound of footsteps echoed towards him. He forced himself to relax and look asleep, slowing his breathing and letting his head fall back to the side.
A second later was the sound of a metal door sliding open with much difficulty, not swinging forward, but sliding, scraping.
"My, my, you are quite the actor, but we were alerted the second your brain became active again." A woman's voice said as he remained silent, wishing her to go away. He hadn't even had a chance to open his eyes yet, he wasn't sure what to expect, and he wanted to figure this out first, before he talked to anybody, especially WICKED.
"A5 I am not leaving until you at least respond, and believe me, I have all day." The woman spoke, her voice vaguely familiar but he couldn't figure out where from.
He knew if he stayed silent much longer it would become a competition of who could out wait the other, and he knew he would never be able to give up, and didn't want to waste precious time, he didn't know for how long he would even be sane. He needed answers while he could still comprehend the world around him.
He slowly cracked his eyes open, only a slit and looked around. All he could make out was dark dingy concrete floors, and concrete walls with what looked like a sliding metal door.
He opened his eyes fully, hoping his eyes were playing tricks on him. There was a blond woman standing near the entrance which was open at the moment. She smiled at him, he could tell it was fake.
He went to sit up more, only to be surprised by the metal cuffs around his wrists and ankles, not allowing him to stand or move properly. His heart rate increased as a shiver ran down his spine. He was a prisoner here, locked in a cell, chained to a wall. And there was absolutely no one who knew he was here...
Please RR, thx.. :)...
