Daisy VS Luigi Challenge Series

Daisy takes on Luigi in a series of challenges. The first challenge is a Scrabble challenge. After the game things get let's say interesting. Not suitable for children. Reader discretion is advised.

5. Dodgeball

Chapter 5: Dodgeball

*Thoughts are in italics*

*Around 20 minutes later*

*Luigi's Living Room*

*Daisy and Luigi are seated on the three cushion couch. In front of Daisy and Luigi sits the bowl full of challenge details and the blind fold*

Daisy hands Luigi the blind fold which he quickly puts on. "Ok let's find out where we're having our match and what type of match we're having" Luigi reported as Daisy as nodded her head in accordance. Luigi then mixed up the letters in the bowl with his right hand for about 10 seconds or so before taking out a piece of paper out of the bowl. Luigi looked at the location which was in his handwriting it read Koopa Troopa Beach. "All right Koopa Troopa Beach that's one of my favorite places". Luigi hooted. "The beach sounds fun. Tomorrow's the day I hope you're ready for the match. Don't focus too much on your tan" Daisy teased with a giggle. "Oh yeah. I'm ready". Luigi proclaimed.

*A few hours later at Mario Stadium*

Mario, Luigi and Yoshi take a break from their dodgeball training The trio is sitting on one the benches near the entrance to the stadium. "So you said Daisy is training with Peach at Peach's castle right?" Mario queried. "That's right" Luigi replied. "And neither one of you had the wherewithal to actually train at Koopa Troopa beach and do some reconnaissance before the match?" Mario probed. "We both decided against that. We agreed it would be an unfair advantage. We thought about maybe doing a janken match for it but decided against it. Maybe if we agreed on the winner of the previous match getting some type of advantage in this match then maybe it would work but we couldn't do it now at the last minute" Luigi imparted. "Even though you won the last challenge and would have said advantage. Mr horse". Mario chuckled while Luigi sighed in response.

"I would beat her in this challenge on a level playing field too. That way she can't say later well you only won because you got to practice there the day before; it was like a home field advantage for you". Luigi portrayed. "That's true she could say that". Mario figured. "She would say that. I know her well and she knows me well" Luigi admitted. "You know we're tied in this contest now. We've been going back and forth in these challenges and neither one of has really got any momentum going. I would like to get to something going here and take the lead here which I haven't had yet in the series .

She's very athletic and tough to beat at some of these sports challenges. I was able to beat her at golf but it was close and she beat me at tennis. I've got to take this one". Luigi indicated. "It's just a friendly competition. The world isn't going to come crashing down if she beats you in the contest series or you beat her. Just have fun with it. Plus I remember you saying that you like that she's athletic and that you like playing sports and games together. You guys have a lot in common just like Peach and I do. Enjoy this time you guys are having right now because it goes by fast. Before you know it this contest will be over so enjoy it and don't take it so seriously. You know you try to win but don't go insane in the membrane if you lose you know what I mean?" Mario assessed. "Yeah you're right. I'm looking forward to our match tomorrow. I''m so happy I've got you on my team and in my corner". Luigi confided. "Of course. I wouldn't have it any other way". Mario professed. "All right you guys ready for some more practice?" Luigi asked. "I'm ready let's go!" Mario accepted as Yoshi nodded his head in agreement. The trio hopped off of the bench and walked back onto the court.

*Sunday Afternoon Koopa Troopa Beach*

*Mario, Luigi and Yoshi are on one team while Peach, Daisy and Toad are on the other team*

*Players are playing a sudden death one set match*

*Mario, Luigi, Daisy and Peach are wearing their sportswear shirts and shorts*

*Toad is wearing his trademark outfit*

*Players have health meters and are out after they their meters reach zero*

*A jump ball is done as Lakitu holds the ball up with his fishing pole before releasing it*

Everyone jumps up for the ball in tandem. Mario scoops up the ball and lands on his feet holding the ball. "All right let's go!" Mario cheered. Mario threw the ball with his right hand and aimed at Toad but he narrowly dodged out of the way. Toad picks up the ball from the beach and bounces around on his feet holding the ball in his left hand. "Hmm who should I go for. I know Yoshi" Toad remarked as he switched the ball to his right hand and aimed at Yoshi and got him with a direct hit in the face. Yoshi picked up the ball and returned the favor to Toad hitting him in the right leg. Soon everyone had been hit by the ball at least once as Daisy was the last one to get the first time. Daisy picked up the ball and faked to Luigi before hitting Mario in the left leg. A high tide comes onto the beach and everyone grabs some coins to power up. A shell also washes up on the shore and Mario picks one up to use as a power up. Most the players manage to get five coins save for Toad and Yoshi who get four out of the max of 10. Mario sets his sights on Peach with his power up but she ducks out of the way of Mario's assault. Peach then collects the ball off the sand and tosses it at Luigi who gets hit in the chest.

Luigi tries to get revenge and aims at Peach's chest but she doges and quickly picks up the ball and knocks Luigi in the face. Luigi shakes his head in disbelief as he was the second person on his team to be hit twice. Luigi flings the ball to Mario who throws the ball to Yoshi. Yoshi swiftly knocks Toad in the face getting him for the second time. As Yoshi does a quick little dance to celebrate Toad picks up the ball and fires right back and Yoshi who promptly catches the ball. Yoshi then unleashes his special. Yoshi throws the ball in a bouncy rainbow line that continuously changes direction several times. The other team looks on in confusion before two balls are released (one of which is a decoy) the real ball smacks Toad in the face knocking him out of the game.

Toad goes over to the out box. The decoy ball bounces past Peach. Daisy picks up the ball and fires at Mario's right leg. Mario grunts in annoyance as his hit for the third time and his life meter is getting low. Mario fires the ball at Peach who quickly catches it and passes it to Daisy. Daisy bounces around on her heels with the ball for a few seconds teasing who she's going to throw the ball at a few times she then pump fakes at Mario before hitting Luigi in the face and getting him for the third time and now joins his brother with a low health meter. "I got him right where I want him now. Next time I'm going to unleash my special after I max out my power" Daisy predicted with a grin. Luigi gulped nervously as he picked up the ball. "Uh oh she's plotting something I can't let her get her catch the ball again" Luigi tensed. Luigi pump fakes to Daisy who takes the bait and shuffles around looking for the ball and Luigi zooms the ball over to Peach and makes a direct hit at her right shoulder as Peach gets struck for the second time.

Peach picks up the ball and quickly fires it at Mario who narrowly darts out of the way at the last moment. Mario throws it right back at Peach and she quickly catches the ball. Peach heaves the ball right at Mario's face unfortunately Mario can't avoid Peach's attack this time and he's taken out of the game. Mario is now standing in his team's outbox while Toad sits in the other team's outbox. Peach throws the ball at Yoshi but he moves out of the way and fires it at Daisy but he misses by a mile. Toad picks up the ball and quickly tosses it at Luigi in attempt to get back in the game but Luigi dances out of the way of Toad's fire. Luigi mocks a throw at Peach who stutter steps towards the ball. Luigi laughs as he fires the ball at a jumping Daisy as another high tide comes in. Daisy catches the ball and everyone runs around to gather coins. Most of the players get a few coins except for Daisy who has maxed out her coin speed and her special meter. Daisy takes a small breath.

"Now the time is right. They won't see this coming" Daisy foreshadowed. Daisy faked toward Luigi who swallowed anxiously expecting Daisy's special at any moment. "All right!" Daisy hooted as she finally unleashed her special. Daisy makes a full circle garden appear where her aim is. Yoshi and Luigi run around waiting on pins and needles for the moment of Daisy's attack. "Here it comes oh boy!" Luigi cringed as Daisy threw the ball and hit Yoshi in the chest knocking his meter down to one sliver of health. "I thought she would go for me for sure. But I guess it makes sense that she went after Yoshi since his health was the highest but now we're both in the same boat". Luigi fretted as he picked up the ball.

"Maybe I can get Peach here. They are probably both expecting me to go after Daisy. I have to keep them guessing." Luigi reckoned as he wet his lips. Luigi alternated the ball between his two hands before finally firing square at Peach in the face. Peach has now been struck for the third time. Now everyone but Daisy has a shard of health. Daisy picked up the ball and passed it to Peach. Peach threw it at Yoshi and he tried to dip out of the way but it clipped his right side and Yoshi is now out of the game. "Oh no!" Luigi groaned as Yoshi and Mario shook their heads. "That's okay we can still get back in this game. They haven't one this match yet". Mario portended. Luigi picked up the ball and threw it at Mario. Mario faked toward Peach before hitting Daisy in the back and getting back in the game with a sliver of health. "All right!" the brothers remarked in unison. "Let's a go!" Mario quipped as Luigi smiled. "He's still got a sliver of health we can take him right out again" Peach certified. Peach picked up the ball and double faked at Luigi causing the brothers to laugh in response.

Peach then chucked herself before popping Mario square in the chest. "That's okay". Luigi considered. "I have to stay positive they are really not up by that much. I can still win this". Luigi concluded. Luigi took a deep breath and quickly threw at Peach who briskly caught the ball. Peach and Daisy tossed the ball and back forth to each other a few times before Daisy held onto to it and fired it at Luigi. Luigi made a daring doge of the ball and threw it back at Peach and connected with Peach's left shoulder knocking her out of the match. Peach joined Toad in her team's out box. At the moment Daisy and Luigi are the only remaining players. Daisy has a health advantage over Luigi; who cannot afford to be hit or he will out of the game.

Daisy plucks the ball off the sand and held it in her right hand. The princess looked at the plumber as she clutched the ball. "This is it oh boy I can't get hit whatever I do. I just have to avoid her offensive and get her a couple times. I have a chance" Luigi surveyed as Daisy feigned hurling the ball toward Luigi's head. Luigi threw up his hands to catch the ball and then he was immediately hit by the ball in the right shin. "Ah you got me good game" Luigi piped as he walked over to Daisy and the two shared a smooch on the lips followed by a big hug. "Agreed. That was really close you were a tough out" Daisy marveled as Peach and Mario shared a kiss and embrace of their own. "Well you've taken the lead in the contest now. You're up three games to two" Luigi conceded. "I can't wait to see what the next challenge will be" Daisy bubbled. "Me too" Luigi agreed.

*Sunday night*

*Around 7:30 pm

*Interior Daisy's Castle in Sarasaland*

*Interior Daisy's Living Room*

Are competitors now sit next to each other on the three cushion couch. The bowl of challenges and the blindfold are on top of the table in front of them. Daisy is the middle seat while Luigi is sitting on the right end seat. Luigi hands Daisy the blind fold which she quickly puts on. Daisy mixes up the letters in the bowl with her right hand for about 10 seconds or so before taking a piece of paper out of the bowl. She took the blind fold off and put it on the table. She then proceed to open the paper in her hand. The challenge was in Daisy's handwriting. "Hockey match. Oooh yay this shoot be a hoot" Daisy approved. "Oh cool perfect time of year for a hockey match" Luigi praised. "The cold weather is here already" Luigi critiqued. "Maybe we can play somewhere outdoors too?" Daisy suggested. "It has to be someplace cold. I'm down with that though. Now we just have to decide the venue" Luigi spoke. "Looks like we'll have to do a challenge detail bowl to decide this. That's the only fair way" Daisy heralded as Luigi bowed his head in consensus.
