Freak was used to this by now, every time something weird happened she would be blamed and would be punished severely, whether she was beaten till she was black and blue, or forced in her little room in the cupboard for days without food and even rarely being let out for a bathroom trip and if she was lucky, she could sneak a bit of water from the tap without Aun-Mam finding out. Then when they finally let her out, she would be punished again for not doing any chores and being lazy and listen toMam complaining about how it was her fault that she got burnt from the grease from that morning's breakfast, resulting in Freak getting hit with the frying pan and not getting any food that day with extra chores before she could even think about eating again. She was never allowed to know about what was going on as the claimedFreaks Don't Get to Know About Normal People Things,so it came as a surprise when she was able to catch wind of what was to come."/I don't know what has happened, but Figg has fallen seriously ill, she won't be able to watch that Freak for a month now. She is so ill she can't even take her for our son's week at that strange Pizza-Plex in America/" "#No that can't be we were going to drop her off for the week so we can get away for Duddy-kins special day! Do we have anyone who can watch her I don't want her freakishness ruining his special day#" "/What about Marge?/" "#You know your sister hates the boy and you know what that bearded man would do if he found out the freak was seriously injured#" "/What about the other one from your garden club/" "#And have her find things out and have us arrested, what do you think would happen to us then, hm!#" "/We can't leave her home alone she would burn the house down/" Petunia hummed in agreement. "/What if take her and leave her in that one place in the Plex, what was it, Sunny-Side Daycare, she looks the part and if anything happens, we will be informed so we can punish her/" Vernon grunts and continues "/We could even-/" before she could hear anymore Dudley's door flies open as he runs down the stairs causing his parents to start to whisper as he went outside the front door likely to scare the other kids on the block, although she did hear a few words of the conversation "Left- and decided- freak." This caused Freak to become curious to what they were talking about, but Freak new better than to ask questions, when she did, she got in trouble, and she would hurt more, so instead she decided to act like she heard nothing until a shrill voice rang out, "#Freak get in here Now#" She scrambled out of her tiny cupboard, and headed straight into the kitchen and bowed a little like taught, "*How can I help you mam." "#Freak we have decided that we are going to take you with us to America, you better be on your best behavior and none of that freakishness you hear otherwise when we get back you will wish you never crossed us, understand?#" Freak gulped knowing she would likely not survive if she did anything to ruin the Dursley's trip and slowly answered morosely "Yes mam and sir" "#Good know this you are going because we have no one else to watch you, this trip is only for Dudley you don't get to have fun#" She nodded again and went to pack a small plastic bag with the one clothes set she had and a small blanket knowing she'll likely be sleeping on the floor. As everyone else finished packing and they pulled out of the driveway little did they know that what they did just changed the course of all of their futures.
