Chapter 3
"So as you can see here, the Dimensional Stones are extremely important and vital for maintaining the balance of the time-space continuum; each of them possesses a special ability," Esther explained as she was pointing at an image of multi-colored stones on the big computer screen in the IDA conference room. "For example…"
She then pointed at a dark red stone.
"This is the Premonition Stone; it has the ability to show you what the future holds."
Esther then motions over to a dark grey stone.
"This is the Reality Stone; it controls all reality. And this is the Time Stone."
She points right at a light silver stone. "It not only controls the flow of time but also allows you to travel back in time."
"And what about all of the other stones? What do they do?" Yuki asked inquisitively.
"Well, here is the Nature Stone. The Nature Stone controls all forms of nature and wildlife. The Celestial Stone controls all sources of light while the Shadow Stone controls all sources of darkness," Esther answered as she pointed at a green stone, a yellowish white stone and a dark purplish black stone.
"However, there is something important that you need to know about the Shadow Stone. It has the ability to corrupt people's souls and therefore makes it extremely dangerous for mere mortals, so if you ever come across it, be very careful to avoid its dark influence."
"Okay, Mum," Jasmine nodded.
"Now… where was I… Oh yes!" Esther mused while rubbing her chin thoughtfully as she turned her attention back to the Dimensional Stones. "Now the other two stones are the Magicka Stone, which controls all known types and sources of magic, and the Love Stone, which can not only bring people back from the dead with the power of love but can also reveal to you who your true love really is."
"Blech!" Rhonda grimaced in disgust while sticking out her tongue and recoiling. "That sounds way too corny and silly to me."
"Well, you kids are still fairly young, so you have plenty of time to discover that for yourselves," Esther reassured them with a gentle smile.
"Not me! Love is gross and disgusting!" Rhonda protested with narrowed eyes.
"Yeah! Who needs stupid, stinking love anyway? I'd rather build Legos and play games on my PlayStation," Luthor concurred.
"I don't think love is stupid," Katie frowned sourly.
"Of course you don't," Luthor scoffed with an eye roll and a snicker. "You're the one who can't stop gawking at magazine covers of Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys."
"Stop it, Luthor! That's not funny!" Katie snapped angrily.
"Katie likes Nick Carter… Katie likes Nick Carter…" Luthor taunted her in a sing-song voice as he began dancing around the room in circles.
"I said stop it, Luthor! That's not funny! You're being mean!" Katie shrieked shrilly while stomping her foot on the ground.
"Knock it off, you two!" Shirley scolded them sternly, crossing her arms. "Be serious here."
She then turned to look at Esther. "So do you have anything else to show us, Mrs. Shirvani?"
"Oh yes, just one more thing…" Esther replied as she walked over to a large blue Stargate-like portal door and gestured over to it. "This portal is part of what we would call an inter-dimensional portal network system. This system allows you to travel to any dimension you wish, and if there is any particular universe that you want to visit, all you have to do to input a specific code into this watch-like device and it will transport you there in a matter of minutes."
She then takes out a light blue wrist watch-like device and shows it to everyone.
"Now if you would like, I can officially commission you these devices today and I will also have Edna Mode design specific outfits to your liking," she said.
Just then, the portal started to glow brightly as Rhonda and her friends started to see brief glimpses of several mysterious figures, including a group of small dinosaurs, a pink cowardly dog, a young Hawaiian girl and her blue alien dog, an orange bipedal bandicoot and a floating tiki mask, and a purple dragon.
Moments later, the portal began to spin and rotate wildly with a blinding blue glow as a loud whirling sound rang in the air. It wasn't long before a small group of dinosaurs flew out of the portal as they all landed on the table.
A small dark brown Pteranodon rolled and tumbled onto his chest with stars spinning over his head dizzily.
"Where are we?" he mumbled.
"I don't know," a male dark purple Apatosaurus groaned as he slowly got up to his feet. "It doesn't look like we're in the Great Valley anymore."
"I don't like the looks of this, Littlefoot," a female orange Triceratops frowned, scanning her surroundings suspiciously. "We're in a land full of strange, weird creatures. Tall furless creatures walking on their own two feet."
"Hey… are you guys dinosaurs?" Rhonda inquired curiously as she approached the table.
Littlefoot and his friends then burst out into terrified and frightened screams as they jumped in the air and attempted to scatter for cover. A male green Stegosaurus also tried to escape from the conference room by repeatedly bashing his head against the wall to no avail.
"Wait, stop! Don't run! We're not going to hurt you! We just want to know who you guys are!" Rhonda yelled as she continued to watch the dinosaurs run about in a desperate, fearful panic.
"Y-You are?" a tiny female green Saurolophus stammered as she suddenly screeched to a halt and looked over at her uncertainly.
"Yeah," Rhonda nodded as she slowly walked over to the group as she glanced over at the Apatosaurus. "You're Littlefoot, right?"
"Yeah, and these are my friends Cera, Ducky, Petrie and Spike," Littlefoot answered as he motioned over to his friends.
"Charmed," Katie replied as she joined Rhonda. "I'm Katie. This is Rhonda. These are also our friends Luthor, Jasmine, Shirley and Yuki."
"What are you guys?" Cera retorted with a raised quizzical eyebrow.
"Well, we're humans," Rhonda replied. "What do you guys call yourselves?"
"Well, I'm a threehorn, Littlefoot is a longneck; Ducky is a swimmer, Petrie is a flyer and Spike is a spiketail," Cera explained.
"Cool," Rhonda nodded.
"Where are we, Rhonda?" Ducky asked anxiously.
"Well, you guys are in London," Rhonda replied in a matter of fact tone.
"London? What exactly is London?" Cera grimaced in confusion.
"London is the capital of England," Katie answered.
"Oh no… are we in the human realm?" Cera's eyes widened with a stark realization.
"In a matter of speaking, yes," Rhonda answered empathetically.
"Oh no… Oh no, no, no," Cera shook her head vehemently as she and Littlefoot exchanged horrified and disbelieving glances.
"I guess that means we're not even in our own universe anymore," Littlefoot declared in an incredulous voice.
"So what do we do now, Mrs. Shirvani?" Shirley asked Esther.
"Well, we'll have Littlefoot and his friends stay at the downstairs basement for the time being until we can get the portal working again. Unfortunately it's going to be at least 24 to 48 hours until it can be fully accessed again," Esther replied solemnly.
"Oh, great; can this day get any worse?" Cera groaned with an eye roll.
"Madame Director! Madame Director! I have the most terrible news!" one of the IDA agents hollered as he rushed into the room and handed over a touch screen device to Esther. "I just got word of an elderly couple being kidnapped from their Los Angeles home and I have reason to believe that they may be related to Special Agent Petrie."
"Dear God!" Esther gasped in horror as her hand flew to her mouth and she examined the video of an unconscious Elena and Horatio being taken out of their home by Maleficent and her goons.
"Oh no, Grandma, Grandpa! We gotta save them!" Rhonda exclaimed in a terrified voice.
"How are we even going to do that, genius?" Luthor scoffed derisively at her. "We don't even have a vehicle."
"We'll borrow one of Mum's private jets and we can fly over to Los Angeles to save them," Jasmine proposed.
"Yeah, except they might not even be in Los Angeles anymore, Jaz! God knows where they might be now; they could be anywhere," Rhonda retorted acerbically.
"I might know where they're headed," a male scratchy voice interjected, and everyone turned around to see Iago flying into the room.
"Iago, glad to see that you're well," Esther greeted him coolly.
"Enough with the pleasantries, lady," Iago barked curtly as he landed on a chair, shooting her a dirty glare. "Listen, I have a reason to believe that Maleficent and her goons may be taking them to some Western European country called Alamania. Something about wanting to barter the old farts in exchange for Vivian Alamain gaining access to the royal throne or some stupid crap."
"If that's where they are really headed, then we need to get there right now! Come on guys, let's go!" Rhonda declared as she started to run out the door.
"Not so fast, Rhonda," Esther admonished her firmly as Rhonda suddenly stopped to a halt and turned to look at her. "You're not going anywhere without proper supervision. I will be having Special Agent Jason Forsythe accompany you on this mission."
"Ah man; do we really need a stupid babysitter on this mission?" Luthor pouted sullenly while crossing his arms.
"Yes, you do, young man, and if you know what's good for you, you better start showing me some respect," a nasally male voice interjected as a tall, skinny and lanky man entered the room. He had short, dark black hair, a slender, thin and narrow face, pale blue eyes, and was dressed in a standard IDA uniform, which consists of a white dress shirt, a midnight blue jacket with the official IDA insignia on his right shoulder, a pair of black dress pants and a pair of black dress shoes.
Luthor just looked at him and burst out into a hysterical fit of laughter.
"What a dork!" he cackled. "Why would they send someone like you to watch over us?"
"Hey!" Agent Forsythe narrowed his eyes indignantly. "I can protect you little snots just fine!"
"Knock it off, Luthor," Rhonda retorted sternly. "We don't have time to waste; we need to get moving."
She then walked over to Agent Forsythe and gazed up at him earnestly. "If you know where the IDA private jet is located, please take us to it straight away."
"Yes, ma'am," Agent Forsythe nodded in approval.
"Hey, why don't we come along with you guys?" Cera offered as she approached Rhonda.
"Are you sure about that, Cera?" Rhonda frowned uncertainly. "I mean, I don't want to impose…"
"Ah, don't sweat it, kid! I'm sure you're going to need all of the help that you can possibly get anyway," Cera waved her paw dismissively with a reassuring and confident smile. "It's no big deal."
She then turned to look at her friends with a beckon of her head. "Come on, gang; let's go."
Then as the group prepared to leave, Agent Forsythe shot a disapproving glare in Luthor's direction.
"At least someone here has manners."

A FEW HOURS LATER…
UBILAM, ALAMANIA
THE ROYAL KINGDOM OF ALAMANIA
Elena opened her eyes slowly with a soft moan as she felt all of her senses slowly return to her. The moment that she came to, she was surprised and mortified to discover that she and Horatio were lying on their chests with their hands and feet bound with chains and they were also gagged. Elena then took a moment to gauge her surroundings and soon realized that she was in the royal throne room.
No… It can't be… she thought.
It wasn't long before she was hit with a sudden flash of memory…
Elena was busy in the kitchen making turkey and cheese sandwiches for her and Horatio as he had just gotten home from work when suddenly she heard something crash through a window and clutter to the ground. She then looked down to see a small grenade sitting right near her. Then just as she was leaning down to pick it up and examine it, the grenade detonates, releasing a huge mist of noxious green gas that causes her to immediately collapse and fall unconscious.
The next thing Elena remembered was being carried out of the house with Horatio as she saw a green fairy with long black horns and wearing a black outfit leading them towards a waiting helicopter. She appeared to be accompanied by a young fellow with silver spiky hair and a young dirty blonde haired girl with hazel green eyes…
Wait…. A blonde haired girl…
Jeannie!
Elena's eyes then widened in horror as she soon realized that Jeannie was somehow involved with the group that kidnapped her and Horatio.
What on earth is Jeannie doing with those people?
"Ah, you're finally awake, dear sister," a female voice greeted her smoothly and Elena glanced up to see Vivian approaching her with a wicked and sinister smile.
Vivian! Elena's eyes flashed with furious indignation as she watched Vivian bend down to remove the gag from her mouth.
"What the hell are you planning this time, you crazy eight bitch?" Elena sneered with her eyes narrowed.
"Is that any way to greet a member of your family, dear sister?" Vivian smirked derisively as she locked eyes with her older half-sister.
"I stopped considering you family the moment that I found out that you murdered my dear and innocent father!" Elena snarled angrily, her body shaking violently. "If Karissa had any idea about what you are doing…"
"Mother doesn't need to know anything about what I'm doing, and if I were you, I'd shut my trap," Vivian retorted with a cold sneer, her voice suddenly turning dangerous and menacing.
She then turned away from her captives as she walked over to Ivan and motioned over towards the couple.
"Ivan my dear, see to it that our guests are looked after. Make sure that you do not let them out of your sight."
"Yes, Madame," Ivan nodded obediently with a reverent bow.
"Good… carry on," Vivian smirked demurely as she walked away and left the throne room.
Elena scowled indignantly as Riku, Jeannie, Jen, Pete, Impmon and some of the other Organization XIII members yanked her and Horatio up to their feet forcibly and Elena looked over at Jeannie with an incredulous yet bewildered look in her eyes.
"Jeannie, honey, why are you doing this? We have done nothing but invite you into our home and let you be a part of our family and this is how you repay us?"
Jeannie could barely look the older redheaded woman straight in the eye as she maintained a neutral and blank expression, even as there was a tinge of sorrow and regret in her eyes.
"I'm really sorry, Mrs. Petrie, but I must do what Maleficent says," she said quietly, her mouth twitching.
"But what about your family? Your brothers and sisters? Your parents even? What about Rhonda, your best friend in the whole world?" Elena demanded sternly, desperately trying to get through to the young girl.
Jeannie just turned away and said nothing as she fought desperately to hold back the tears welling up in her eyes.
"Shut your mouth, you old hag; now come on, we better get moving," Pete snapped at Elena as he gave her a hard shove in the back, causing her to let out a sharp yelp of pain.
Elena then hung her head solemnly and kept her eyes straight to the ground as she and her husband were escorted out of the throne room.

Meanwhile, Shane Donovan was meeting in the conference room with Esther and some of the other high ranking IDA agents as he was interrogating them about Jeannie's whereabouts.
"She's with Organization XIII in Alamania? How? Are you absolutely sure?" he demanded in a shocked and incredulous voice.
"We have received some aerial video footage yesterday of Elena and Horatio Petrie being escorted out of their home by Maleficent and her goons, and it appears that your daughter might have been with them," Esther explained as she handed over a small touch-screen device to Shane. "And according to our latest satellite data we have received just a little over an hour ago, they are now somewhere in the capital of Ubilam."
Shane then received the hand held device from her and poured over the video footage before his face paled rapidly at the sight of his daughter standing next to Maleficent, Riku and Pete.
"No… That can't be… How could my little precious jellybean have possibly been mixed up with those hooligans in the first place?"
"I don't have the answer to that, I'm afraid," Esther sighed sympathetically as she placed a comforting hand on Shane's shoulder. "But what I can tell you is that you need to get your daughter the hell out of there before things escalate even further."
"That I will do, Madame Director," Shane nodded affirmatively. "Just say the word and I'll be there on the double. Tell me where she is and I'm going to get on the first flight to wherever she is and get her out of there as quickly as possible."
"Understood," Esther nodded and she motioned over to Rebecca and leaned over to whisper to her discreetly.
"See to it that Agent Donovan gets to Alamania safely."
"Yes, ma'am," Rebecca nodded.
"Special Agent Rebecca Petrie will be accompanying you on your trip to Alamania," Esther informed Shane.
"Understood, Madame Director," Shane nodded as he turned to face Rebecca. "On me, Special Agent Petrie."
"Wait! Stop!" a loud, booming male voice hollered as everyone turned around to see Mufasa, Sarabi, Sarafina, Nala and Zazu barging into the room.
"I need your help, please," Mufasa pleaded, panting heavily as he stopped to catch his breath. "My son is missing and I was told that you might know where he is."
"Mrs. Shirvani, do you have the faintest idea who this strange talking lion is?" Shane hissed softly to Esther.
"He's King Mufasa of the Pridelands," Esther whispered back. "I think we might be able to help him."
She then suddenly turned her attention to him, her face brightening considerably. "Your Majesty, why don't you join Agent Shane Donovan and Special Agent Rebecca Petrie on their excursion to Alamania? I have a feeling that wherever Agent Donovan's daughter is, your son might be there too."
"You really think so?" Mufasa raised a questioning eyebrow as he and Sarabi exchanged uncertain glances before he hung his head with a deep sigh. "Fine; it's not like I have much to lose at this point. Let's get going, everyone."
"Okay," Nala nodded as the lions then followed Shane and Rebecca out of the conference room.

Meanwhile, Agent Forsythe and the rest of the heroes landed at a private airstrip near the royal palace as they disembarked from the IDA-issued jet.
"Just stay close, kids; we don't know what we might run into," Agent Forsythe admonished them sternly.
Just then a helicopter arrived as it landed right next to the private jet and Shane and his group emerged from the aircraft. Simba then turned around to see his father advancing towards them from a distance and an expression of pure joy and relief lit up his face.
"Dad! Dad!" he yelled as he raced over to where Mufasa was.
"Son!" Mufasa cried as Simba leaped into his father's arms and embraced him.
"I thought I was never going to see you again," Simba sniffled softly as he buried his face into his chest.
"It's all right, son; I'm here now," Mufasa reassured him gently.
"Come on; we better find the others," Rebecca urged them as the rest of the group continued their trek to the palace.
However, the moment that the heroes entered the royal throne room, they were soon met by a large group of Russian soldiers as they aimed their guns at them. Shane, Rebecca and Agent Forsythe also drew their weapons and aimed them at their foes.
"Well, well, well… I was hoping that you fools would show up here," Maleficent smirked evilly as she, Vivian and their allies materialized from out of the blue with their weapons drawn.
Mufasa then let out a low, menacing growl as he, Sarabi and Sarafina got into defensive positions with pointed glares and ferocious snarls.
"Where's my daughter, you wretched bitch?" Shane growled indignantly, still aiming his weapon.
"Is that any way to treat the lady of the manor, Agent Donovan?" Vivian addressed him in a cool yet sinister tone, still holding her gun. "I thought that you would have better manners than that."
"Daddy!" Jeannie cried as she saw her father and attempted to run towards him, but she was soon grabbed by the arm forcibly by Vivian and held back before being quickly pulled back into her embrace tightly. "I'm so sorry, Daddy!"
"It's okay, sweetheart; Daddy is going to fix everything, I promise," Shane tried to reassure her calmly as he looked on helplessly at his little girl.
His demeanor then quickly changed into hard and determined resolve as his eyes darkened with anger and fury.
"If you even dare to lay a hand on her, I promise you that I will hunt you down to the very ends of the earth!" he vowed.
"I'll be the judge of that, Agent Donovan," Maleficent replied coldly with an unfazed yet reserved expression.
"What is it that you want anyway, you wicked she-devil?" Shane glowered with a sneer.
"What we want is total world domination, starting with this simple little kingdom right here," Maleficent answered with a haughty and confident grin.
"And as soon as Alamania falls right under our complete control, we will be expanding our influence throughout the rest of Europe and eventually we will have the power to lay waste to the entire United States."
She then holds up the Reality and Time Stones in her hands, her grin widening even more with a triumphant gleam in her eyes.
"And with these Dimensional Stones in our possession, nothing will stop us, absolutely nothing."
Just as she says this, however, she suddenly felt the wind knocked right out of her as Luthor had charged right at her and head-butted straight into her abdomen before quickly snatching the Reality Stone out of her hand.
"Psych!" he laughed maniacally as he quickly raced off into a nearby left-hand corner.
"After him!" Vivian yelled as a team of Russian soldiers chased after him with guns blazing.
"Seize them!" Maleficent ordered as many of the Organization XIII members aimed their Keyblades at them, including Riku.
"Riku?" Jeannie whispered with her eyes widened, not believing that Riku would actually do anything to Rhonda and her friends.
But just as a major fight was about to break out, a mysterious figure suddenly crashed through the ceiling and landed on the ground, followed by two more people. Riku then stepped back in horror as he could scarcely believe what he was seeing.
"Sora?"
"Back away, Riku! This is over!" Sora ordered, pointing his Keyblade at him as Donald and Goofy followed suit.
"Yeah, you better step down right now!" Yuki declared boldly as she joined the trio's side with a Keyblade also suddenly materializing in her hand.
"What in the bloody hell, mate?" Jasmine sputtered in disbelief as she couldn't help but gawk at Yuki.
"What ARE you?" Shirley also balked, her mouth agape.
"I'll explain everything later; right now we need to deal with these insipid morons," Yuki quickly answered as she faced down Riku determinedly.
"Fools! Destroy them!" Maleficent roared with a livid expression.
It was then that the entire room descended into utter chaos as the two factions began firing and exchanging various spells at each other. Yuki and Riku were busy teleporting haphazardly in the air as they were furiously exchanging Fire and Lightning spells. Riku then shot an Ice spell at Yuki, which hit her in the stomach and caused her to fall and tumble to the ground with a groan.
Then just as Riku alighted on the ground and was about to cast another Fire spell, Yuki unexpectedly unleashed a Wind spell on him, causing him to be blown back as he was thrown several feet across the room.
Meanwhile, Littlefoot, Mufasa and their friends were doing their part to help out in the battle. Littlefoot was smacking around several opponents with his tail while knocking away other foes with his gangly neck, while Cera rammed into several Organization XIII members and knocked them away with her horn while swiftly dodging and evading numerous elemental spells.
Spike, Ducky and Petrie mainly served as decoys to distract and confuse their enemies while Mufasa and the other adult lions launched at them and began savagely tearing and ripping away at them with their claws and teeth. Shane, Rebecca and Agent Forsythe also gunned down several Russian soldiers that came lunging right at them with weapons drawn.
As the ongoing chaos and commotion continued to unfold, Rhonda, Katie and Jasmine decided to sneak away with Taokaka as they tried to track down Elena and Horatio's whereabouts. As they rounded the corner and entered a narrow corridor, Taokaka sniffed the air as she was trying to find their scent.
"Huh… Tao thinks that they might be around here somewhere," she mused.
"I would sure hope so," Rhonda frowned apprehensively. "We have to find them quick before something really bad happens to them."
Just then the heroes ducked as a Russian soldier flew over them before crashing into a wall and crumpling to the ground unconscious. They turned around to see Luthor approaching them with a triumphant and satisfied smirk with his arms encrusted in brown rocky stone.
"I know where they are! Come on!" he urged as Rhonda and the others followed him into another room.
Meanwhile, Elena opened her eyes again as she came to and realized that she and Horatio were lying in hospital beds in a strange and unusual laboratory.
"Where are we, El?" Horatio mumbled in a sleepy and groggy voice as Elena suddenly felt her senses returning to her.
"Good; you're awake," a thick female German accent greeted them as Elena whipped around to see a middle-aged Caucasian woman with long, straight and jet black hair tied in a bun and piercing, icy blue eyes approaching them with a serious and grim expression.
She then walked over to Elena's side and took out a syringe as she was preparing to inject her with it.
"Just relax; you'll be going right to sleep soon enough."
"Get your filthy, nasty hands off my grandparents, you old hag!" a female child-like voice yelled shrilly as the German doctor glanced up to see a huge fireball hurtling right at her as she let out a terrified scream. The fireball then slammed right into her as she was knocked straight into a wall.
"Grandma! Grandpa! Thank God we found you!" Rhonda cried as she and her friends rushed over to Elena and Horatio and freed them. "Come on, we better go right now!"
"You don't have to tell me twice, kiddo," Horatio retorted as he and Elena got off their beds and started to follow them out of the room.
The German doctor then opened her eyes with a soft groan and watched the group leave with her patients.
"Goddamn little shits!" she cursed in German.
Moments later, she let out another terrified and panicked scream as she saw a flying cabinet enveloped in a bright pink aura hurtling straight for her as her vision soon went black.
A short time later, Rhonda and her friends re-entered the fray as they helped their allies fight off even more waves of Organization XIII members and Russian soldiers. Taokaka was even lunging and leaping at several enemies at high speeds as she was delivering quick, brutal yet savage slash attacks while knocking some of them away with sidekicks, drop-kicks and uppercuts. However, what they didn't notice was that Maleficent, Vivian, Ivan, Riku, Pete, Jen and Impmon had snuck off with Jeannie and were now retreating back to their helicopter.
Shane then realized too late that Maleficent's group was making their getaway as he glanced over to see them dashing for their helicopter.
"No! Jeannie!" he yelled as he broke away from the battle and raced off to catch up with Maleficent and her allies.
However, by the time he caught up with them, they had already boarded the helicopter and were now flying away from the private airstrip.
"Daddy!" Jeannie yelled as she poked her head out the door.
"Jeannie, I'll save you!" Shane yelled back.
Then as soon as the helicopter had disappeared into the horizon, he swung his fist down in frustration while sulking off and shaking his head.
"Dammit."
"What happened, Mr. Donovan?" Rhonda asked as she and her friends rushed over to him.
"Maleficent has taken off with Jeannie and I need to get her back or Kimberly is going to go spare over losing our little girl," Shane explained desperately.
"They must be heading back to London to finish the job; come on, we better get going," Rebecca urged everyone.
"Yeah, let's go," Littlefoot agreed.
The heroes then boarded the private jet as it swiftly took off again and was now heading to London.
