Harry Potter and the Force Awakens

CHAPTER FOUR

While Harry was busy spying on Rey, Maz recognized Harry's droids when she spotted them. She walked over and introduced herself to Harry after speaking to the droids. This forced Harry to return his focus back to where he was sitting at the table.

D4 explained to her about the crash and what happened to their Jedi friend and how they discovered Harry after he fixed them and their ship many, many years later. D4 went on to explain about discovering everything was so different now and how they could use help to find out where they needed to go.

Maz said she would be happy to help but needed to take care of something really quick. She left their table and headed off down the stairs where Rey went earlier. A few minutes later, Rey came running back up the stairs and left through the door in a hurry. She seemed upset.

The little droid was still rolling after her.

A few minutes later everyone headed outside as that was where the excitement was. Harry and the others watched as five planets were destroyed by the First Order with one shot. How they managed a weapon of that power, Harry had no idea. One thing he now knew for sure though, was which side he was not going to be on.

Any organization who would destroy planets like that with people on them was an organization that needed to be stopped. What if they decided to destroy Earth that way? Harry was able to sense the death of millions in that attack.

Before they knew it the First Order was attacking them with their ships. The castle was being blown apart. Harry ordered Jojo to take the droids back to the ship to keep them safe. After they popped away, Harry used the Force to ignite his double-bladed lightsaber on both ends with its dark orange blades and then leaped into the fray.

The stormtroopers in their white armor did not know what to do with Harry as he moved with grace, speed, and power, slicing through them left and right. A few shot their blasters at him but he just batted them right back, hitting them with their own blaster fire.

They were everywhere though and so many of them. Harry was using his precognition like he never had to use it before. When he saw a group of them together he sent out some exploding spells in their midst to take them out quicker.

Harry then saw Finn with a blue-bladed lightsaber, but it was obvious he had no training and apparently no Force power either which Harry established earlier. The stormtrooper he was fighting was using his own device that could block the lightsaber. Eventually, he knocked Finn down and the lightsaber flew from his hand. The trooper was about to finish Finn off but Harry sent a strong piercing curse that went right through the man's armor and chest, killing him.

Finn looked up at Harry. "Thanks," he said a little shocked.

Harry force pulled the lightsaber over to him from where it landed on the ground after Finn dropped it. He then handed it back to Finn after he stood back up. The older gentleman walked up and he had a tall furry alien with him that carried his own big gun.

"I take it that's not your weapon of choice?" Harry asked Finn.

Finn shook his head no.

"I'd suggest you put that away then and use that man's blaster instead. Safer that way."

"Definitely," Finn replied.

"Look out! They're trying to surround us," Harry yelled suddenly then pushed out with the Force sending the troopers flying back and onto their backs.

The others then started cutting them down with their blasters as a small Resistance fighter ship was showing off above them taking down First Order ships and ground troops left and right. Harry helped finish off the rest of the troops around them with some powerful spells and then leaped again to get to more that were further away attacking others.

After a few minutes, Harry heard Finn yelling for Rey so he headed back that direction. When he arrived to the area where they were, he saw a nicer ship than the others leaving the planet. According to Finn, they had taken Rey with them. The surviving troops and ships left too. They all pulled out and left together.

After they were introduced, Harry discovered the older man's name was Han Solo and his big furry friend was a Wookie named Chewbacca. They both seemed rather interested in Harry after they saw what he could do. However, another ship landed that was part of the Resistance. Han and Chewie took off that direction to greet the newcomers while Finn continued to look worried and lost since Rey was taken.

Harry turned back and looked at all the destruction. He imagined there were some people trapped in the ruins of the castle. With a big draw on the force, Harry cast a very large Reparo and watched as the small castle started coming back together. He cast a few smaller ones before it was good as new.

They were then able to get to the ones hurt inside. Nearly everyone saw what he did and could not fathom how he managed it. It even distracted Han and Leia from their overdue meeting for a bit. Maz ran up to him and just stared up at him, wondering how he was able to do that. She saw him using force powers and his lightsaber earlier but she had never seen a Jedi do anything like that.

"I hope that puts everything back the way it was, Maz," Harry told her.

"How did you do that, young man?"

"Well, you see, I'm not from around these parts. On my planet we developed the Force in a different way. I just used a spell from my native planet that repaired your castle… and apparently that small ship that crashed into it," Harry said noticing the Tie-Fighter was back good as new and sitting next to the castle. It must have got caught up in the repair spells.

"A spell?"

"Yes, we call the force magic on my planet. That's because we cast spells with it and use it in a different but very precise way than the Jedi or Sith. I became a Jedi a few years ago when I discovered the force on my planet in the same way the Jedi use it."

"You are a wonder, Harry Potter. I was devastated at what they did to my place, but you worked a miracle it seems. I still find all this hard to believe but I thank you for fixing my castle so quickly and easily."

"My pleasure, Maz. I thought it would be easier to help the ones caught inside if it all went back to where it belonged."

"Ah, a pragmatist. I'll go see if I can get the injured some help. You might want to go talk to Leia who just arrived," she said pointing at the lady Han was talking to. "She's the head of the Resistance and they could use all the help they can get against the First Order."

"Thank you, Maz," Harry said with a bow of his head. "I'll do that."

Harry walked toward Leia who was still talking to Han. He overheard Han say as he was heading that way that he had seen their son. Harry was then wondering if the two were married. When he arrived, they both looked at him askance.

"Maz informed me that I needed to talk to Leia, Han, to find out where I need to go. I trust you are Leia, Madam?"

She nodded.

"Leia, this is Harry Potter," Han introduced them. "Apparently, he's a Jedi and something else based on what I've seen him do today and especially after what we just saw him do with the castle."

"That was very impressive, Harry Potter. I am curious as to how you could accomplish such a thing?" she asked.

"I wouldn't mind knowing that myself," Han added. "I know jedi have great abilities but I've never seen a jedi capable of such a thing."

"Oh, that was just an ability I have from my home planet," Harry said waving his hand like it was no big deal.

They both looked at him with many questions on their faces.

Harry beat them to the punch though and went on to explain similar to what he told Maz about the magic and how they used it on his planet. He could sense they were trustworthy so shared some, such as how he was still training and learning about the force.

He also mentioned that he could sense the force in Leia. She simply smiled at that as he continued his story. They were more than astonished when he finished.

"So where can I help?" Harry asked her. "I realize you don't really know me so I'll understand if you want to make sure you can trust me first. I've just seen the First Order destroy five planets full of people. I knew at that moment I could never side with them."

Leia nodded at him knowingly.

"I have my own ship and two droids with me. I can go take care of problems if you want to send me where I can help. I'm very accustomed to fighting so that will not be an issue for me. I have both the force and my magic to aid me."

"Thanks for your offer, Harry," Leia responded. "I will give it some thought and let you know where you can help. And, yes, I am force sensitive and I could sense you were telling the truth. Rest assured we can use your help.

"You know, for the longest time, I thought my brother Luke was the last jedi. It appears I was misguided. Now, let's go see who all needs help before we head back to base."

Once back on base, they had Harry examined by medical personnel so they could establish a baseline for him in case he needed medical attention in the future. His examination revealed an extremely high midichlorian count and caused some questions based on his answers. So it was there with the medics, Leia, and a few of the other leaders that Harry explained the difference as he understood it between the Force and Magic.

He was reluctant at first to reveal any more info about Earth, but he felt the discussion was warranted in this case. He just decided not to mention where his planet was located while choosing his words as carefully as he could as he expounded on the subject.

"The Force and Magic are exactly the same thing. It's how they are used that makes the difference. The magicals on my world tend to use phrases like 'magical core' as if we have a core of magic within our bodies, but in reality all the magic flows through the blood. There is no real central core unless you consider the heart which pumps all the blood and magic through the body. So the magic comes from within rather than pulling it in from the outside like the Jedi do.

"This has allowed my people to develop the Force in very specific and precise ways, usually with a lot of finesse. Force users tend to be able to do bigger things as they are pulling from outside themselves. Of course, what one can ultimately accomplish depends greatly on how powerful one is with the Force. Likewise, there are magicals on my world who are more powerful than others, just like you have Force users who are more powerful than other Force users."

Harry saw many nodding as they followed along.

"What you call midichlorians in the blood, we call magic. The main reason is the lack of science and technology available in the magical world on my planet. However, the non-magicals have advanced much further than their magical counterparts.

"The issue is what magic does to the technology so therefore the magical world on my planet does not get to use much of the technology advanced in the mundane world. You on the other hand have developed ways to shield your technology from the effect of the Force. Had the non-magicals been able to do that then the magicals might have taken advantage of the newer technology developed by the non-magicals. Perhaps, even developed some themselves.

"However, the magical community stays hidden from the non-magical. There is a lack of trust as to how they will react to the power magicals yield. Since the non-magicals far outnumber the magicals on my world it would be a big risk to expose our abilities to them, especially if they take it wrong. They could literally bomb all our magical communities and kill us all.

"Do you honestly think they would do that?" asked Leia curiously.

"Perhaps. We really don't know. I should say that most likely the majority of the mundane people would be fine with the knowledge, but I dare say there would be enough of them who would want to either control us or wipe us out due to fear of the unknown."

"That's barbaric!" said one of the younger medics.

"Yes, but until technology on my planet reaches the level like you have and all the nations can come together and quit fighting against each other, then I think magicals will remain hidden."

"We have had Sith and others in the past and now the First Order who are not any different, and even perhaps worse, than the ones you are calling barbaric on Harry's planet," Leia told the outspoken medic.

Harry could see everyone agreeing to that statement, even the medic.

"Your midichlorian count was the highest I've ever seen personally," the older medic who examined him said. "I've heard of others, such as Luke Skywalker and Yoda, with extremely high counts, but in general most Force users do not have as many midichlorians. Are you indicative of the Force users on your planet?"

"No. I'm at the upper end of the scale for magic, or Force as you call it. Over my short lifetime, while I've met many who were above average, I've only known of two others who's magic was in the range of mine.

"One was my old school's headmaster who defeated a powerful dark lord when he was much younger. He was always thought of as the most powerful magic user for several centuries. The other one was the dark lord I defeated when I was 17. He was the most powerful and feared dark lord for centuries himself. Both of us appeared to be fairly equal in power, although it was clear my headmaster was more powerful than either of us and, for the most part, better skilled due to all his experience.

"Why didn't he take on your dark lord for you? Why expect a 17 year old kid to handle it?" another asked.

"In my lifetime, it was his age that held him back. He died at a very old age when I was 16 and still one of his students.

"But the simple answer is Prophecy," Harry continued. "You see, there was a prophecy that pitted that dark lord and me against each other. It basically said that in the end one of us would kill the other. Another factor that played a big part was the fact that my headmaster was about twice as old as my dark lord who happened to be in his seventies at the time I killed him. Like I said, my headmaster was very powerful but at that time his body was too old to fight long enough against someone of that dark lord's skill and power.

"In the end, he sacrificed himself so that the spy within the dark lord's ranks, the one he had working for our side, was trusted all the more and my goal to defeat him would have a better chance of being successful. In fact, they both sacrificed themselves for the cause. Unfortunately, there were many others who died in the war before I finally defeated him."

They saw and heard the emotion in Harry's last statements so decided to not ask any additional questions.

As it turns out, the Resistance needed a lot of help. The First Order was very powerful and seemed to be pretty much everywhere. Harry offered to help with the mission to go rescue Rey, but Leia told him they had that covered. Besides, she had other ideas for where he could help.

That was why Harry, Jojo, and the droids were back in their ship heading for the planet Atrisia in the Atrisi system. It was also sometimes referred to as Kitel Phard, as that was the last Dynasty. It had quite a history and was supposedly the example followed when the Galactic Empire was formed. The Atrisi System was located in the Southern Core portion of the core worlds.

Atrisia had several continents so was classified as a terrestrial world populated mostly with humans. The planet contained a city named Jar'Kai, which was the name the Yovshin swordsmen named their duel-wielding sword fighting technique after. The name Jar'Kai was also used as a lightsaber technique, indicating fighting with two lightsabers.

It was amazing the information you could pull off the holonet.

There was some information from a scientist on the planet Leia was hoping Harry could secure for the Resistance before the First Order managed to get a hold of it. She was sure they would run into trouble but was hoping Harry was up for the task.

Harry assured her he was, plus he was unknown and would not be as big of a suspect for the mission which would be conducted on a First Order controlled planet.

When they came out of hyperspace they appeared before Atrisia. The planet had a decent amount of traffic so they had to wait their turn.

Finally, they moved up into position and were hailed by Port Security so they could identify themselves. This is where Harry was hoping the answer he was told to give was going to work as planned. If not then they were likely going to be fired upon.

Harry had Z3 input the information and was told to wait for verification.

Harry began to use the force to see if he could sense any problems as they waited to hear back from Port Security. He was interrupted.

"I'm sorry. Can you please provide that information one more time for us?" someone from Port Security asked.

Harry looked over at the droids before he pushed the button and answered. "Sure."

Harry indicated for Z3 to give them the information again.

"Sending again now," Harry told them.

A few seconds passed then they heard, "Information received. Please standby."

Harry reached out again with the force and sent some calm, peaceful feelings to Port Security.

"You're free to land in bay 196D. Have a pleasant stay on Atrisia," the person said pleasantly a minute later.

"Thank you," Harry replied, then let out a breath he didn't know he was holding as he guided their ship to the docking bay indicated.

Harry wasn't sure if what he tried with the force actually worked on the port security. Bane had tried to teach him to use the force to implant fear, hate, and other negative emotions into his opponents, but Harry figured if you can implant negative emotions then why not positive ones? He knew Bane wouldn't be happy about it, but no surprise there.

Harry had also spoken to his droids and Jojo about not telling anyone about Earth or where it was located. The last thing he wanted was for the First Order to go after the magical people on Earth for what they could do or to destroy the planet.

He got the idea when people with the Resistance, a group he was now helping, and ones outside the leadership he spoke to, had asked that very question. He quickly decided to not tell any more about it so he could help keep his home world as safe as possible.

Harry had exited his ship once they landed. Jojo and the droids were instructed to stay onboard and wait for him there.

While most of the inhabitants he came across were human, there were obviously others who had migrated to the planet. He could see a few different species as he went about his business.

As he travelled the planet of Atrisia using a leased speeder, Harry kept a keen eye out for any of the First Order. He killed all the stormtroopers who got a good look at what he could do on Takodana. There may have been some who saw him fighting at a distance but doubted they could tell much about him since they were in the middle of fighting Maz's customers.

He ran across some stormtroopers in their white armor on the planet, but he avoided them. He had a job to do so it was important not to draw attention to himself until he had at least completed it.

It was amazing that the city he was travelling in looked a lot like a Muggle city, except for the advanced technology, of course. When he arrived at his destination, he left his speeder with the droid attendant and continued on foot.

The scientist he was looking for, or at least his office, was in the building he was approaching. He had to use a lift to get to the right floor but soon worked out the right direction he had to go to get to the man's office.

However, when he reached the office of the scientist who had the information Leia wanted, he heard loud talking and someone pleading for his life. Harry arrived in the doorway just in time to see the scientist killed by a stormtrooper using a blaster rifle.

The stormtroopers saw Harry when he appeared in the doorway so they immediately went on the attack.

Harry sunk down even deeper into the force as his precognition warned him of blaster bolts about to come his way. Harry's lightsaber lit up on both ends just in time as the shots were fired. He batted the bolts back at the stormtroopers knocking a couple of them down.

There were a total of five of the stormtroopers in the office, so after the two were knocked down, Harry sprang into action with speed only a jedi could manage. His lightsaber sliced through the other three with frightening accuracy and deadly force. Harry then turned to the two who were hurt but not severely. The returned blaster bolts were blocked mostly by their armor.

Harry held his lightsaber near their bodies so they stayed on the floor.

"Now that I have your attention, tell me what you are doing here," Harry insisted.

"We won't tell you anything," one of them replied in that voice that sounded like it was coming over a walkie talkie.

"Oh, but you want to tell me everything I need to know," Harry told them using the force.

"I want to tell you everything you need to know," they both repeated back to Harry.

"Good. Now what are you doing here in this office and why did you kill that man?" Harry asked with the force.

"He has information the First Order wants," one of them replied.

"But he wouldn't tell us where he had it hidden," the other chimed in.

"That's why we killed him," the first one finished for them.

"Take off your helmets so I can see who I'm talking too," Harry told them.

"But we aren't supposed to take off our helmets except in private, like when we need to shower," answered the second one.

"Oh, but you really want to take them off for me, don't you?"

"Yes, we want take them off now," they both replied then pulled their helmets off.

One had blond hair while the other had brown hair.

Harry whipped out his Elder wand and obliviated them both of ever seeing him or talking to him. He then stunned them. He put his wand in the palm of his hand and said "Point me" as he thought of the information Leia wanted. The Elder wand spun and stopped, pointing at a picture on the wall.

Harry removed the picture and it revealed a space behind it just big enough for a datapad. Sure enough there was a datapad in the space. Harry picked it up and used a form of the banishing spell he learned from Dumbledore. This sent it to his office in his armoire that was on his ship. He didn't want to risk being stopped and searched with the datapad on his person.

Then with a slight pop Harry apparated out of the building and to a spot he was sure he would not be seen appearing. It was a place he had taken note of before he entered the building. He landed and looked around. Positive he was not seen, Harry made his way back to the droid attendant and rented another speeder. He flew it back to where he started, so he could head back to the docking bay and hopefully leave the planet soon after.

He wanted to make sure he didn't cause questions so stopped himself from apparating straight to inside his ship. Many people saw him rent a speeder and so he returned on a speeder.

When Harry landed the speeder on the platform that led to the shuttles provided to take him up to the space station and his ship, he saw that a group of stormtroopers were bothering what looked like a family of five. The three children consisted of two older girls in their teens who looked like twins and a young pre-teen boy who looked to be their brother.

It was a family of Zeltrons with red skin and blue hair.

The parents were pleading with the stormtroopers to leave their daughters alone. However, the girls were pretty and had drawn the attention of the stormtroopers who thought they could get away with anything since the First Order was in charge of the galaxy.

Teenage Zeltrons sometimes had problems with controlling their pheromones due to hormones at that age and that was probably part of what started the confrontation. However, that was not an excuse for the stormtroopers to act the way they were. They did have helmets that filtered most if not all of the pheromones.

As Harry walked toward the shuttles and the stormtroopers, he started talking to himself.

"Do not get involved. Don't do it. Do. Not. Get. Involved," he kept mumbling.

He had a mission to complete so that information would go to the right place. But, as he drew closer and he could see that the stormtroopers were getting a little handsy with the two girls, Harry knew his saving people thing would not allow him to stay out of it.

Harry used the force and grabbed the group of five stormtroopers then force pulled them away from the family, slinging them back down the platform behind him. When they landed, they tumbled for quite a bit. Harry continued walking and came up to the family.

"I suggest you continue on with your business and get your kids out of here quickly while I teach these troublemakers some manners."

"Thank you," the father said a little shocked at what Harry could do but quickly ushered his family toward a shuttle.

Harry spun around quickly at that point and batted the blaster bolts back toward the stormtroopers as his lightsaber extended and hummed just in time, hitting three of them. Harry then did a force push on the whole group, but pushed them from the side which sent them all over the rail and off the platform where they plummeted to their death.

It was a short lesson and a difficult one to learn, but Harry felt he had done his part in teaching it.

With all the people on the platform in awe of what he did, Harry boarded a shuttle and travelled back to the space port. Without speaking to anyone and after casting a Notice-Me-Not spell on his person, Harry headed to his ship and boarded without calling any more attention to himself.

However, when they started to leave they were told that they had to wait. An incident had occurred with the death of some First Order stormtroopers and they were trying to determine who was involved. No one was allowed to leave yet.

Harry closed his eyes and pulled the force all around him. He then pushed the button to speak.

"You know that I am with the First Order, so why am I being delayed from leaving when someone killed stormtroopers? Surely you don't believe I killed them?" he said in an irritated tone but used the force heavily.

There was a bit of a pause on the other end. Then they spoke again.

"Sorry about that. You, of course are free to go. Leave when ready."

Without another word, Harry lifted off the platform and flew out of the bay, moving further away from the planet.

However, before they could reach the hyperspace lane, they were hailed by a much larger ship that was following and closing in on them.
