CHAPTER FIVE

"Captain, we have some questions for you and would like a word in person. Pull into our port side hangar bay immediately."

"Well, I guess that didn't work as smoothly as I had hoped," Harry told his elf and droids.

Harry hailed the First Order ship and responded.

"Sorry, but I'm on a very important, not to mention top secret, mission and behind schedule to boot. Maybe some other time?" he asked.

"No. This takes precedence over any mission you are on. Either pull into the hangar bay or we will be forced to fire on you," they replied.

"Fine! This better be very important because my boss is not very understanding," Harry replied.

"We can always smooth it over with your boss for you."

"That would require you knowing more about my top secret mission. What about top secret do you not understand? Coming around to port side hangar bay now."

Harry flew his ship into the hangar then turned it around so it was ready to go out of the hangar before setting it down.

"Z3, make sure she's ready to go when we have to leave in a hurry. I don't plan on being here long," Harry told his droid.

Harry lowered the ramp and walked down it, dressed in all black. He had performed a color changing charm to put himself in all black. He even had a hood covering his head with his face in shadow. His lightsaber was worn on his belt and easy for all to see.

There was an officer standing in front of about twenty storm troopers. All of his confidence and bravado he was showing previously vanished. In fact, Harry's entire welcoming party suddenly looked a little nervous.

"My lord," he said nervously, "we were not aware you are a Sith. No one told us that."

"Now you know. Perhaps you should have asked me before wasting my time?" Harry asked imitating Bane's impatience and gruffness.

"We are under strict orders to investigate every ship leaving Atrisia. We need to know what business you had on the planet."

Harry pretended to get angry and released some of his magic so they could feel it. He brought is hands up to the sides of his head in a claw like gesture like he wanted to scream.

He then growled out, "If one more person asks me to reveal my secret mission to them, then I'm going to get very, very angry. I can promise you will not like me when I'm angry," he told them then pushed out even more magic.

"We'll just need to check out your ship and then you can be on your way," he said nervously.

"No, I've had enough of this nonsense. I'm leaving!" Harry then turned around and went toward his ship's ramp.

"STOP! YOU CAN'T! WE HAVE PROTOCOL TO FOLLOW!" the officer yelled then turned to the storm troopers. "STOP HIM!"

The storm troopers all raised their rifle blasters and fired at Harry but they watched as he whipped around and put up a shield with his hand. The blaster bolts just hit the shield and went no further. They were in shock at the shield he put up. They had seen force users use their lightsabers to bat the blaster bolts away are back at their attacker but they had never seen one put up a shield to block the bolts.

Harry then reached with both hands and picked up all twenty of the storm troopers, plus the officer, and flung them away from him toward the back of the hangar. Many hit solid objects as they flew through the air. Harry looked around until he found the large container for the liquid metal fuel.

With a big pull, he toppled the container over then sent a powerful blasting curse at it, causing it to crack open. Fuel began spilling out and into the hangar. The storm troopers and officer who survived the force attack suddenly became more concerned with containing the fuel then they were about Harry.

Harry hurried back up the ramp, shutting it behind him.

"Get us out of here, Z3! Now! Full speed!" he yelled toward the bridge.

The engines were winding up when Harry dropped into his pilot seat. Z3 beeped that it was ready so Harry punched it.

When the engines fired behind them as it left the hangar bay, it ignited the fuel that was spreading around the hangar. The hangar was suddenly in flames as Harry and his crew sped away.

The big ship readied its weapons to blow the freighter to pieces, but just when they were almost ready to fire, their ship exploded as the rest of the fuel left in the tank ignited. It caused a giant explosion that spread through the large ship quickly, setting off a cataclysmic event that spread and took out the entire ship in a series of explosions.

Running at top sublight speed, the occupants of the VCX-100 Light Freighter never felt the repercussions of the big ship exploding.

Once Harry reached the hyperspace lane, he engaged the hyperspace engine, and they disappeared from sight.

While travelling through the galaxy between planets, Harry decided to work more on his visions. Mostly they pointed at things in the future, but occasionally he would get one from the past, especially if it was meant to show him something.

During one of his meditations to see more of these visions he had one of the past where he saw what actually happened on the night of October 31, 1981. He was amazed that the force allowed him to finally know what happened that night Voldemort came calling.

At the end though everything went dark so he decided to use his pensieve to check and see if he could see more by being a third party to the event. He brought the Potter pensieve with him when he left Earth. It was a handy tool that he wanted to have with him just in case he ever needed it.

Harry took the memory of the vision from his mind as soon as he stopped meditating. He conjured a vial with a stopper and placed the silvery-white memory in it.

After checking with the droids to make sure he had time, Harry went to his quarters and used his pensieve. He poured the memory in the pensieve and stuck in his finger to fully immerse himself.

Harry found himself at the house in Godric's Hollow in the front room or lounge where there was a sofa, some chairs, and a throw rug on the floor. His father James was sitting in a chair while his mother Lily was sitting on the sofa gently rocking a 15 month old baby Harry to try and get him to go to sleep. She quietly hummed a lullaby as she rocked their child.

It was a peaceful scene he saw before him …for a few seconds anyway.

The vision had shown him that when Voldemort attacked the Potters, it wasn't anything James or Lily did to defeat the dark lord. Had they done something they would have made sure at least one of them survived the ordeal to raise their son. There was simply no magical shield they could find to protect them and their baby against the killing curse. Dodging or putting something solid in the path of the curse was all that was available to them or anyone else.

They were worried that Voldemort would manage to kill them and little Harry would be left alone with that mad man. They simply didn't want to think about that happening. They were relying heavily on the Fidelius Charm to prevent the dark lord from ever finding them.

Of course, that didn't work out since their secret keeper, Peter Pettigrew, betrayed them to the dark lord.

When Voldemort passed through the wards, the Potters were alerted to the intrusion. They tried to apparate and also tried using a portkey but neither worked. Their floo had been disconnected from the network when the Fidelius was applied so that was also out.

"Take Harry and go, Lils. I'll hold him off," James told his wife and mother of his child.

Lily, who already had Harry in her arms trying to rock him to sleep when the alert went off, was standing there at the ready. When her husband and father of her child spoke to her she gave a loving but worried look at James before bounding up the stairs with her son. They both knew Voldemort was here for Harry. She realized she had to protect him as best she could while her brave husband would do his part.

She doubted James could defeat the dark lord by himself. When they had fought several times together against Voldemort, they had only managed to hold him off long enough to escape. Only once during those times did they do better and force him to escape. However, it was only after reinforcements from the Order arrived with Dumbledore leading them.

She had very little hope she would see her husband alive again. The dark lord was too evil and too powerful. His mastery with a wand and dark curses was beyond description. Only Dumbledore could match him.

James was a master of transfiguration so whenever Voldemort cast the killing curse or torture curse James always conjured something or pulled something in front of it in time to block it. This was frustrating the dark lord to no end. He wanted to get this ordeal over with and kill the child that threatened his goals.

He was shocked when a cutting curse from the Potter family head scratched his cheek and took off part of his left ear. He had moved his head out of the way of the spell but apparently not fast enough.

Harry gave a silent cheer after seeing his father get first blood in the duel.

That was too close, but it made the dark lord change his tactics. James Potter was a good dueler but he wasn't as fast or as powerful as Voldemort, and both wizards knew that.

Voldemort dropped using the dark curses for a bit and started with cutting and blasting curses with his extra power thrown in. These were faster to cast than the dark curses so that gave him an even better advantage with his already faster speed.

It wasn't much longer before James Potter was in trouble. He couldn't match the speed or the power of Voldemort. He was being scratched or worse with many cutting curses which were slowing him down. His shield was barely staying up against the blasting curses, which usually pushed him backwards some when they hit.

After a very powerful blasting curse by Voldemort that made James stumble backwards and drop his shield immediately afterwards, the dark lord followed quickly with a powerful cutting curse that James could not block in time or dodge due to being off balance.

The cutting curse hit him across the chest which stopped him in his tracks, knowing he was going to die from that one. It cut deep and blood was pouring out. Even his mouth was full of blood.

James eyes widened when he saw the dark lord cast a final killing curse to speed up his demise. James died instantly and fell down to the floor.

It was a difficult thing to see for Harry but it wasn't as if he was expecting his father to live and he had already seen it in his vision. He cleared his emotions and continued to watch all of it.

Voldemort cast a quick healing charm on his cheek and ear before heading for the stairs.

Harry followed him.

He found Lily Potter and baby Harry in the nursery they had set up for the child. All the typical items you find in a baby's room were there, such as colorful wallpaper, a changing table, and stuffed animals. Some of the stuffed animals were magical and some non-magical. Harry was standing in his crib hanging on to the bars of it. Only his head and the top of his shoulders were taller than the top of the rails.

His mother was standing in front of him with her wand at the ready. She tensed when Voldemort entered the room with a shield cast in front of him.

"So, you killed my husband," she stated as a fact with no emotion except for one tear drop running down her cheek.

"Yes, I killed him. He was a good fighter but obviously not good enough."

Harry had moved into the room more and off to the side so he could see Voldemort, his mum, and his baby self perfectly.

"Looks like he got a lick in though," Lily noted. "I don't remember the scratch on your cheek or the missing bit of ear that all looks to have been healed recently."

"Oh, he came mighty close, my dear. It prompted me to take him more seriously after that," Voldemort answered like it was just a normal conversation you would have with someone.

Lily smiled. "Too bad he didn't take your evil head off," she said changing the tone of the conversation.

Behind her baby Harry was listening and not liking what he was feeling. He didn't understand all the words but he could tell his mum was very upset. He didn't like it when his mum was upset.

Voldemort smiled back. "Step aside, girl. There's no need for you to die too. I'll let you live if you'll just move out of the way."

Lily's eyes and face took on a very determined look. "NO!" she screamed. "Stay away from my baby!" she threatened.

"I said step aside girl!" he said with a little more venom.

"DON'T YOU TOUCH HARRY! DON'T YOU DARE!" she yelled making sure she was still between Voldemort and her baby.

Harry almost started crying when he heard his mum yell, but then he heard and saw something really bad happen next.

"AVADA KEDAVRA!" Voldemort yelled back after dropping his shield, then watched the pretty red headed mother fall at his feet dead.

His eyes then looked back up at Harry in his crib. The child of the prophecy.

Little Harry was only 15 months old but he had seen his parents and others perform magic in front of him as long as he could remember. He knew that when a spell was cast from a wand it had pretty colors. When the colors hit something or someone then it made something happen or change.

He saw the man who was looking at him use a pretty color that looked like his mum's eyes. She fell down from it and wasn't moving. He must have hurt his mummy and where was his dadda? Did the mean man hurt his dadda too?

These were questions that had little Harry confused. He didn't know what happened to his parents, but he was willing to blame the man who just hurt his mother. Even though he wanted to cry, what the man did to his mum was making him very, very angry.

"Mumma? Mumma?" he called down to his mother who didn't answer.

He then looked up at the mean man who hurt her.

One thing the Potter parents never told anyone about their son was just how powerful he was. They figured that since he was a child of prophecy, a prophecy that hinted at the child being as powerful as the dark lord, then that was the reason he was so powerful at such an early age. Sooner or later people would learn that secret but they were in no hurry to reveal it.

As Harry grew angrier, his face contorted and he had a look of pure concentrated ire and determination. Suddenly, the toddler was taller than he was before.

Voldemort looked and he saw that the child was floating and standing on air inside his crib. He was no longer hanging onto the railing as he had his hands above his head. He then saw the child staring right at him, his bright green eyes which were like his mother's seem to have a glow about them. It was unnerving, the look he had.

The dark lord knew then that this was definitely the right child. No way was it the Longbottom boy. His guess that it would be the half-blood was spot on. He then thought it best to get this over with. The child was already too powerful. He raised his wand back up.

"Avada Kedavra," he cast it right at the boy's face that was disturbing him by the way it looked.

Voldemort's eyes grew big as he was completing the curse. The child had brought his hands down quickly and released a torrent of magic that the dark lord had no chance of stopping or getting out of the way of. Even his own curse was rebuffed by the magic.

He felt his own killing curse hit him and his soul and life force leave his body. The body and his wraith was thrown backwards by the force of the magic torrent. It blew part of the walls down too, destroying part of the house. It mangled Voldemort's body horribly and forced the wraith out of the hole in the ceiling that it created, pushing it completely away from the house, and the town. When finally the powerful, magical force stopped pushing him the wraith just kept going, fleeing from the child that had so easily killed his body.

He knew he had to hide. He had taken precautions so he could not completely die but he was practically powerless in this form so he had to get away and plan for a comeback sometime in the future.

Meanwhile, back at the Potter home, little Harry collapsed back onto his baby bed after expending so much energy and magic. He passed out and slept to rest his body and recover the used magic.

So that's why it just went dark, Harry thought to himself as he left the memory. That was a lot of magic for a small child. Of course it made sense for him to pass out after using that much magic on Voldemort. Harry realized that Hagrid would be by to get little Harry soon.

The rest of the story was not a mystery.

Harry arrived back at the Resistance base just in time to actually meet Rey, however Finn had been seriously hurt and Han had been killed. She was very upset about that.

Leia introduced the two of them to each other and they immediately got along.

"I'm glad they were able to get you back from the First Order and destroy that horrible weapon," Harry told her.

"What's this about you being a Jedi?" she asked.

"I'm not sure about that. I only discovered the force a few years ago so I'm still learning."

"I just discovered it myself."

"When I saw you back at Maz's place, I sensed you were strong in the force."

"You were on Takodana when I was there?"

"Yes, I arrived after you. I was fighting stormtroopers when they took you. Sorry about that."

"Not your fault. It was terrible losing Han and Finn getting hurt, but I managed to learn a few things about the force while I was in captivity."

"That's great! I figured a few things out on my own too for the first couple of years. Of course, I learned a lot more once I had a teacher."

"You have a teacher?"

"Sort of. It's actually a holocron from a dark Sith of many, many years ago. He knows a lot but he is definitely dark. He complains often because I refuse to turn from the light."

"Then why is he teaching you?"

"On my home planet we developed the force in a different way. We use it so differently that we call it magic."

She chuckled. "There's no such thing as magic."

Harry waved his hand and two comfortable chairs appeared out of thin air. Rey was shocked.

"Would you like to sit down and discuss it?" Harry asked with a smile.

Rey tested one of the chairs then sat in it.

"How did you do that?" she asked.

"Magic," he told her with a grin.

Harry went on to tell her a bit more about magic from his home world and how he was sharing it with Bane in exchange for the Sith teaching him all about the force.

Later, Harry sparred some with Rey and taught her a little about the different lightsaber forms. She seemed to pick it up quickly. She just needed more practice.

However, they had to cut it short after a few days when Leia and the others managed to get a complete map to where Leia's brother Luke, a real Jedi, was supposed to be located.

Rey and Chewie were sent to go after him. Harry offered to go along and help, but once again Leia needed him for something else. She wouldn't tell him what it was, just that she needed him to stay close.

That something else turned out to be an attack on the Rebel fleet by the First Order. When they were arrayed out in front of the rebel fleet and ready to fire on all of them if they didn't surrender, she called Harry to her.

"Harry Potter, this is where I need you. I had a vision about this very scenario and you helped us. What can you do?"

Harry studied the situation carefully and looked at all the First Order ships lined up in a row against them. The one directly in front of them was close enough that he could see partially inside their bridge. It was like they were in a staring contest with each other.

He then turned to Leia.

"I'm going to need a shuttle flown by remote only. You may not get it back. No one will be on board except me. Tell them you are sending an emissary to negotiate our surrender."

"What are you going to do?" she asked.

"Kill every one of them."

"How?"

"You'll see."

As Leia ordered Harry a shuttle just as he requested and informed the First Order that they were sending over an emissary to discuss the terms of their surrender in person, Harry headed to the shuttle bay.

Once he was on the shuttle and they were given instructions on where the First Order wanted the shuttle to land on their ship, Harry gave some more directions to the pilot controller who would be flying the shuttle remotely.

"I don't care which bay they want us to park in, just make sure you take us close by the bridge so they can see me on board the shuttle. Got that?"

"Aye, you can count on me. I'll get you up close and personal."

"Good man. You do that and I'll do the rest."

Harry sat in the co-pilot seat where he would be visible as the shuttle exited the rebel fleet ship and headed toward the massive First Order ship.

"If that big ship starts moving before you can park it then turnaround and head back. No need to waste a shuttle."

"Why would it move before you land?" the pilot asked.

"You'll see. Just stay clear of the ship if it moves. Things could get really messy."

As directed, the pilot took the shuttle right by the large bridge of the First Order ship. Harry looked over and made eye contact with someone onboard while at the same time he noted a specific spot and what it looked like.

Harry then rose from his seat with many on the bridge watching him. He then purposely headed toward the back of the shuttle giving the impression he was going to get ready to exit. However, once he was out of sight of the people on the bridge, Harry apparated over to the spot he memorized as the shuttle continued onto the bay where it was instructed to land.

When he landed on the bridge, his dark orange, double-bladed lightsaber came alive in his hand as the captain and the bridge personnel looked on in shock.

They tried to defend themselves but he was too quick and the spells he threw out were devastating.

On the rebel ship, Leia and the others watched the flashes of light on the other bridge. There was a dark orange blur moving around that bridge at incredible speed and many other flashes of colorful light they weren't sure about.

It was only a few seconds later when Harry stopped and put away his lightsaber. There was now complete silence on the bridge and a lot of dead people that were with the First Order.

Harry then sent strong magical locks on all the doors leading onto the bridge. He then quickly went to the controls and started turning the ship.

The ship he was on was the main ship. It was on the end with two other ships lined up next to it on its left.

Once he was facing the other First Order ships, he set the ship for hyperspace and a point just past the second ship.

Now the whole time he was doing this he was getting plenty of questions from the other ships and those onboard the same ship who were wondering what the bridge was up to. He just ignored them.

Once he had it all set, Harry engaged the hyperspace engine and apparated back to his own ship during that split second pause before it actually starts. He landed on the bridge and instructed the rebel fleet to leave and move away from the First Order ships immediately.

They didn't hesitate as they witnessed the large ship plow through the other ships quickly. Not a single one was left in one piece. They were obliterated, including the main ship.
