Peter's pov
Peter was swinging around Queens, unaware of the turmoil of emotions in the Stark household, in the few hours before he had to go to his job at the nearby Delmar. With no adults in his life he had to have a way to pay for food, clothes, and the school. Though he was able to get a scholarship again so those costs were more affordable. Peter was still struggling, selling sandwiches only provided so much money, and on top of that, the money under his aunt's name was going fast.
Suddenly, Peter's spidey senses gave of a low warning, someone, or something was watching him. He stopped mid-swing, landing on the closest building. The first arrow glided towards him. Peter caught it with his back still turned on the famous archer, which is said to never miss the target. His eyes wandered to the arrow, its tip shining with a foul smelling, green liquid.
Poison
These few seconds were enough for heavy footsteps to land behind the hero. Peter whipped around as the familiar voice addressed him.
"Calm down, spider-man, we just want to ask a few questions." Peter swallowed down nervously, Caption America was decked in full gear with his shield held protectively in front of his chest.
Peter started at the man, happy that he was wearing a mask, the opponent should never see the terror in your eyes. If the poisoned arrow was anything to go by, this was going to turn into a fight if he didn't surrender. The nerves swarmed in his stomach. He wouldn't reveal his identity so easily. He had a job to do, protect everyone, even the Avengers, and if not knowing his was better, so be it.
Peter was mentally debating all this when the voices began. He was officially connected to the Avengers comas. His d-Tony thought it would be a good idea if Peter could communicate with everyone when in his suit, but that was before the world forgot him, and he was depromoted from hero to unknown vigilante.
Peter frowned under the mask if he counted the number of voices right. All the Avengers were here, his entire family with him for a few minutes. A single tear slipped down his covered cheek.
At least Peter had one bonus point, the avengers didn't know he could hear their entire plan. Score one for the spider and zero for the Avengers.
Peter listened for a few seconds surprised to know that all his mentally debating barely took any time,it was barely a minute after that first arrow was shot. Peter was even more shocked that the plan was to kidnap him.
Peter tried to stop himself, but he couldn't help but ask Karen ,his suit Al, to open the comas line completely so that the others could hear him.
Somehow, he found his voice," Guy's this kidnapping thing is just plain rude."
Everyone took shock intakes of breath. The avengers because they couldn't believe what just happened and Peter because he couldn't just keep his mouth shut. Mr Stark whispered, "Friday, how the hell did this kid hack our comas!"
Knowing the questions wasn't directly targeted him, he still replied, " We'll if I'm being truthful I've hacked more advanced things of yours Mr Stark and this time I just asked my Al. By the way, why are you calling me kid? Is it the voice or something else?"
Peter scolded himself, stupid. He should really stop this, but if he was being honest, playing with the avengers was odly fun, and a tiny voice in his head whispered they deserved it. They forgot me.
The sassy remark from Spider-man was seemingly too much for the archer because Peter suddenly found himself under fire, the swarm of arrows a bit hard to miss.
He ducked, caught, and stepped out of the way, not on of the arrows, finding their target. Cap deciding to join into the fight, through his shield at Peter. Again, catching the flying object directed at him, he simply shook his head. This reminded him of all the practice sessions he had with Steve. Tony almost went crazy with worry, but it was totally worth it.
The captain stared at him for a few seconds before he heard Natasa yell. Offer the comas, " I'm coming in."
Still listening to Natasa and dodging flying arrows, the masked hero didn't notice the said person creeping up behind him.
When Peter finally turned, he was too late, and a firm kick was placed on his stomach, so much for spiders sticking together. Staying on his back for a few seconds because that really hurt, he presented the perfect time for an arrow to plant itself in his shoulder.
As the drug rushed through his system, dosing his senses in a fine coat of sleep, he barely caught the words, " How in the world did this kid keep avoiding my arrows?"
His lost consciousness thought, I should really get a voice changer built into the suit so that nobody can recognise my age and call me kid. Well, everyone except Tony. His dad.
Tony's pov
Travelling back to the tower with an unconscious spider-man,Tony was still grumbling about having to travel to Queen's,he was literally almost four hours away from his family now and he had to stay at the tower tonight. On the other hand Tony was extremely shocked at this guys skills and the fact that he hacked into the teams comas. On top of that, he couldn't believe the kid built his own Al, an accomplishment that took Tony a few years to manage.
So, with his disbelieving nature stored at the back of his mind, he redirected his mind to the current situation. It was hard even to focus on the mission with Peter in the front of his mind.
They had brought the kid back to the tower and, with lots of consideration, put him into the white room that was especially designed to contain the Hulk. It was soundproof, mostly indestructible, and had a soft consuniod floor so that whoever was in very didn't get hurt.
The kid still wore his suit and mask because Natasa warned them that such an advanced suit might be weapon proof, and by taking it off, they could accidentally contact one or more of the guys friends.
Usually, such uncertainty could easily be resolved, but in this case, not even Friday could scan for anything. She insisted the suit Al was keeping her out.
So, for now, it was a waiting game that Tony most definitely did not like. He wanted to find his kid but the team insisted they need him here with Spider-man's suite being as advanced as it was. Stupid spider-man and his Al...
