Rose woke up the following morning, confused to find Tilly beside her. She stroked some stray hairs from her sleeping daughters face, noticing that her forehead was warm. Jack rolled over to face her as he woke up. "Hey" he smiled. "Hi" she smiled back. "What's she doing in here?" She frowned confused at Tilly. "She was sick in the night so I said she could sleep with us… I hope that's OK?" He almost asked, unsure if he should have allowed Tilly in their bed at all. "Why didn't she wake me? Was she OK?" She asked confused. "I'm not sure why she didn't. Guess they both wanted me up in the night" he chuckled. "I'm think so. I just helped her change her top, brush her teeth and I changed her bedding" he said "thank you… you should have woke me" she smiled. "It's OK… I know how tired you've been recently" "thank you" she repeated. "Is Sophia awake?" He asked. Rose peered in to the crib beside her and shook her head "no, spark out" she replied just as Tilly squirmed, beginning to wake up. She looked up at Jack, not noticing Rose was awake yet. "How are you feeling?" Jack asked "not good" Tilly replied, rubbing her eyes then saw Rose "hi mummy" "hey baby" she kissed her head. "Daddy says you were sick?" Tilly nodded. Rose checked her forehead again "you do feel quite warm… you can stay off school today. Hopefully you'll start to feel better" Rose smiled weakly. "Thank you…" Tilly smiled a little. "Do you want any breakfast?" She offered "no thank you…" Tilly shook her head as Jack got out of bed to start getting ready for work. "I'm sleepy" Tilly said as she rubbed her eyes. "I'm just going to get ready" Jack interrupted as he grabbed his stuff and headed in to the bathroom. "Go back to sleep darling. I'm going to go and make Daddy breakfast then I'll come back up, OK?" Rose said as she stroked Tilly's cheek. Tilly nodded and hugged her teddies closer to her as Rose climbed out of bed.

Once Jack was ready he went back in to his and Rose's room to grab his jacket, to find Tilly fast asleep in the middle of their bed with Sophia beginning to wake up in her crib. He leant down and pulled the blanket over Tilly before kissing her head then lifting Sophia up "let's go see mummy" he smiled and kissed her head as he walked downstairs.
"Look who's awake!" Jack smiled as he walked in to the kitchen, causing Rose to turn around and face them. "Good morning!" She grinned and held her arms out for Sophia who giggled back as Rose took her. "Your breakfast is on the table" she smiled at Jack "thank you" he smiled and sat down to eat.
"Will she be OK?" Jack frowned, referring to Tilly. "Yeah, of course she will be. Kids pick up bugs all the time, especially when they start school. She'll be right as rain soon" Rose nodded "I'm worried about her" Jack said "you're worried because you've never dealt with it before. She's OK, I promise" Rose said as she stroked his hand. "She said sorry for being sick?" Jack almost asked, causing Rose to sigh sadly. "The last time she had a bug, she was sick on the landing at the mansion. She got a telling off from Cal and the housekeeper, I'm guessing that's stuck with her" Rose said. Jack just shook his head "unbelievable" he replied.
"I was thinking that this weekend we could go out for a meal? The two of us? I could ask Lucy if she can have the girls? Only if Tilly is better obviously…" he said cautiously. Rose nodded "I'd like that, I feel like we haven't had a moment to ourselves these last few months between the girls and James" she chuckled. "That's sorted. I'll pop by and ask Lucy on my way home from work. I was also going to have the lawyer chase up your divorce papers today, if that's alright?" He asked. Rose nodded "please do!" "OK" Jack smiled and stood up "I best get going. Have someone come and fetch me if Tilly gets worse obviously" he leant down to kiss Rose before kissing Sophia's head. "Love you both" he said as he left for the door. "Love you too" Rose shouted after him.
