First Pokemon
Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny, and Hop are running towards the Wedgehurst Station, where they soon see a large crowd of people gathered right in front of it.
"Whoa! Look at all those people!" said Kyle.
"Well, my brother is coming here; so, it's not really surprising." said Hop.
"Good point." said Stan. As they tried to look through the crowd, they catch sight of an orange, winged, dragon-looking Pokemon with a fire-tipped tail.
"That's my brother's Charizard!" said Hop.
"Sweet!" said Cartman. Stan, seeing an opportunity to try out his Rotom Phone's pokedex app, takes it out of his pocket and points it at the Charizard.
"Charizard, the Flame Pokemon, and the fully evolved form of Charmander. It spits fire that is hot enough to melt boulders. It may cause forest fires by blowing flames." said Stan's Rotom Phone.
When they managed to get close enough to see the front of the train station, they see a man with tan skin, purple hair and beard, wearing a black jersey with a design of a blue sword over a red shield on it, white shorts with the number one on it, a red, fur-rimmed cape with lots of endorsement logos on it, white leggings with a black and gold diamond design on them, a baseball cap with a crown design on the brim, and black and white shoes with gold laces; standing next to the Charizard.
"Leon!" cheered someone in the crowd.
"Your Charizard rules!" said someone else.
"Thanks for saying that." said Leon.
"I want to be as strong as you are someday." said a young boy.
"If you work hard enough, you might someday; and when you do, come challenge me for my title." said Leon. He looks behind the crowd, and sees Hop's arms sticking up, waving back and forth.
"Leon! Over here!" shouts Hop. Leon smiles as he makes his way over to where Hop, Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny were standing.
"So, my number one fan in the world has come out of his way to pick me up." said Leon. "Look at you, Hop. I reckon you've grown an inch and a quarter since the last time I saw you."
"Bingo. That's the sort of sharp eye that's kept you undefeated for the past so long." replied Hop. Hop then motions to Stan and his friends. "And these are my friends, Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny."
"Please to meet you." said Leon. "My brother told me loads about you four."
"Wow, cool." replied Kyle.
"I'm the Galar region's greatest Pokemon champion ever and a massive Charizard fan too." said Leon. "People call me the unbeatable Leon."
"Come on, you, guys! I bet I can beat you guys back home!" said Hop. He turns and runs to the direction of his home.
"That Hop. Always wanting to be the best, isn't he?" said Leon. "With a proper rival of his own, I'd bet be push himself to become something truly special." Leon then turns towards the crowd of people. "Well, everyone! I bid you farewell for now! But don't you fret; I'll always be around to make sure everyone in Galar can have a champion time!" The crowd cheers in response. Leon turns and runs in the direction Hop ran.
"Come on, guys!" said Stan. He and the others ran off the direction Hop and Leon did. Soon, Hop, Leon, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny arrived at Hop's house; Cartman arrived several seconds later. Once everyone got there, they got down to business.
"Hey, bro." said Hop. "Where are the Pokemon you said you were bringing?"
"Right here." said Leon as he pulls out three pokeballs from his pocket and tosses them, releasing a white, bipedal, rabbitlike Pokemon with reddish, orange-tipped ears and toes; a green, monkeylike Pokemon with orange forearms, muzzle, and feet, two leaflike appendages on its head, brown ears and tail, and held a stick; and a light blue, reptilian Pokemon with a curly tail, and a yellow fin on its head.
"Cool!" said Kenny.
"Awesome!" said Stan.
"Kick ass!" said Cartman.
"This one is a Scorbunny; a fire type Pokemon." said Leon as he points at the rabbitlike Pokemon. He then points at the monkeylike Pokemon. "This one is Grookey; a grass type Pokemon." He then points to the reptilian Pokemon. "And this one is Sobble, a water type Pokemon."
"Sweet!" said Kyle. Leon then looks at the boys.
"So, who wants to pick their Pokemon first?" asked Leon.
"I'm picking first!" said Cartman as he runs in front of his friends.
"Okay, then." said Leon. "Which Pokemon would you like?" Cartman looks at the three Pokemon until his eyes settle on Scorbunny.
"I want Scorbunny!" said Cartman. Leon nods as he hands Cartman, Scorbunny's pokeball.
"Take good care of it." said Leon. Scorbunny jumps up and gives Cartman a fist bump.
"Scorbunny's so cool!" said Cartman. Kyle steps forward.
"I'm picking next." said Kyle. He looks at Grookey and Sobble; he walks over to Grookey. "I think I'll pick Grookey."
"Very well." said Leon. He gives Kyle, Grookey's pokeball. Grookey jumps up to Kyle and gives him a high five.
"Glad to have you, Grookey." said Kyle. Kenny looks at Sobble, then turns to Stan.
"You can have this one, Stan." said Kenny.
"You sure, Kenny?" asked Stan.
"Yeah, totally." said Kenny.
"Thanks, dude." said Stan. Sobble crawls over to Stan and up his back to his shoulder. Stan looks at Kenny with pity.
"I'm sorry I didn't bring enough Pokemon for all of you." said Leon.
"Maybe we can help Kenny catch a Pokemon." said Kyle.
"Hey, yeah." said Stan. "You still got that pokeball you found?" Kenny reaches into his pocket and pulls out a pokeball.
"Yeah." said Kenny. Stan turned towards Kyle and Cartman.
"Come on, guys. Let's find Kenny a Pokemon." said Stan.
"Yeah!" Kyle and Cartman say in unison. The boys left Hop and Leon's house and headed down Route 1. As they did, Stan pulls out his Rotom Phone.
"Hey, guys; let's use our pokedex apps on our new Pokemon." said Stan.
"Good idea, dude." said Kyle. He takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at his Grookey.
"Grookey, the Chimp Pokemon. When it uses its special stick to strike up a beat, the sound waves produced carry revitalizing energy to the plants and flowers in the area." said Kyle's Rotom Phone.
"Cool." said Kyle. "This says that my Grookey is a dude, he knows Scratch, and Growl; and he has the Overgrow ability which powers up his grass type moves if he has a third of his stamina left."
"Let me see what the pokedex app says about Sobble." said Stan as he takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at his Sobble.
"Sobble, the Water Lizard Pokemon. When scared, this Pokémon cries. Its tears pack the chemical punch of 100 onions, and attackers won't be able to resist weeping." said Stan's Rotom Phone.
"This says my Sobble is a dude, also; he knows Pound, and Growl; and he has the Torrent ability, which is like Overgrow, but it powers up water type moves." said Stan.
"Me, next!" said Cartman as he points his Rotom Phone at his Scorbunny.
"Scorbunny, the Rabbit Pokemon. A warm-up of running around gets fire energy coursing through this Pokémon's body. Once that happens, it's ready to fight at full power. said Cartman's Rotom Phone.
"My Scorbunny's a boy, he knows Tackle, and Growl; and he has the Blaze ability, which is like Overgrow and Torrent, but for fire type attacks." said Cartman. The boys soon arrived at an area with tall grass.
"Be on your guard, you guys." said Stan. They suddenly hear rustling coming from the grass; they see a dark blue and beige, insectlike Pokemon crawl out of the grass.
"A Pokemon." said Kenny. He pulls out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Blipbug, the Larva Pokemon. A constant collector of information, this Pokémon is very smart. Very strong is what it isn't." said Kenny's Rotom Phone.
"I don't give a Rattata's ass if it's not strong; I still want this Pokemon." said Kenny.
"Let's battle it." said Stan. Sobble, Grookey, and Scorbunny surrounded Blipbug. "Sobble, use Pound!" Sobble leaps at Blipbug and pounds it.
"Grookey, Scratch!" said Kyle. Grookey leaps at Blipbug and scratches it with his fingers.
"Scorbunny, Tackle!" said Cartman. Scorbunny runs at Blipbug and rams it, knocking it to the ground.
"Catch it, Kenny!" said Stan. Kenny takes out his pokeball and enlarges it; he throws it at Blipbug and hits it. It gets sucked into the pokeball and it falls to the ground. Kenny watches as the pokeball moves around a few times; it stops and clicks. Kenny walks to the pokeball and picks it up.
"Yes! Blipbug's my first Pokemon!" said Kenny, raising Blipbug's pokeball up.
"Congratulations, Kenny." said Stan.
"Couldn't have done it without you guys." said Kenny. He then takes out his Rotom Phoen to learn more about his new Blipbug. "Okay, this says my Blipbug's a boy, he only knows Struggle Bug, and he has the Swarm abliity, which is like your Pokemon's abilities, but it powers up bug type moves."
"Sweet!" said Kyle. Just then, Stan, Kyle, and Cartman get notifications on their Rotom Phones. They all look to see that their Pokemon each learned a new move.
"Hey! My Sobble learned Water Gun!" said Stan.
"My Grookey learned Branch Poke!" said Kyle.
"And my Scorbunny learned Ember!" said Cartman.
"We're off to a good start, dudes." said Kyle.
"And we're gonna get better!" said Stan.
"I'll be better than all you guys." said Cartman.
"Shut up, fatass." said Kyle.
"Don't call me fat you son of a bitch!" said Cartman.
"Anyway, let's see if we can buy some pokeballs at the Pokemon Center." suggested Stan.
"Yeah, I should also get my new Blipbug healed up." said Kenny.
"Good call, dude." said Kyle. The boys head to Motostoke to do as they planned; Now that the boys have their first Pokemon, their journey has now officially begun.
