Route 2
The boys arrive on Route 2 on their way to Professor Magnolia's house. Kyle looks at the map app on his Rotom Phone.
"Okay; if we continue going up this path, we should reach Professor Magnolia's house." said Kyle. "Maybe we can train our Pokemon on the way there."
"And find more for our teams." suggested Kyle.
"Good ideas, guys." said Stan.
"Come on, I wanna do more Pokemon stuff!" whines Cartman.
"Okay, we're going, fatass!" says Kyle. The boys start to explore the grass in search of more Pokemon.
Kenny was looking when he spots a Pokemon that looked like a brown acorn with eyes and feet. He takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Seedot, the Acorn Pokemon. If it remains still, it looks just like a real nut. It delights in surprising foraging Pokémon." said Kenny's Rotom Phone.
"Since this is a grass type Pokemon; my Blipbug should be able to take it on." said Kenny. He then throws his Blipbug's pokeball, releasing him from it. "Okay, Blipbug; use Struggle Bug!" Blipbug crawls over to the Seedot and latches onto it, then starts wrestling around before knocking it to the ground.
Kenny then quickly takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at the Seedot, hitting it, and sucking it in. The pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking.
"Yes! I caught Seedot!" said Kenny. He then looks up his new Seedot's information. "This says my Seedot is a girl, she knows Tackle, Harden, and Absorb; she has the Chlorophyll ability which doubles her speed when it's very sunny out."
Kyle was looking through the grass when he spots a bipedal, purple and cream colored, catlike Pokemon. Kyle takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Purrloin, the Devious Pokemon. It steals things from people just to amuse itself with their frustration. A rivalry exists between this Pokémon and Nickit." said Kyle's Rotom Phone.
"Go, Grookey!" said Kyle, throwing Grookey's pokeball and releasing him. "Okay, Grookey, use Branch Poke!" Grookey leaps at Purrloin and strikes it with his stick, knocking Purrloin back. Purrloin lets out a growl and releases soundwaves at Grookey, weakening his attack strength. "Grookey, Scratch!" Grookey scratches Purrloin across the chest with his free hand, knocking Purrloin to the ground. Kyle takes an empty pokeball out of his pocket and throws it at Purrloin, hitting it, and sucking it into the pokeball. It wiggles around a few times before it clicks.
"Sweet. I caught a Purrloin!" says Kyle. He then uses his Rotom Phone to learn more about Purrloin. "Okay, my Purrloin's a boy, he knows Scratch, Growl, and Sand Attack; he has the Unburden ability, which increases his speed when he eats something he's holding."
With Stan, he had his Sobble out while looking at a brown and white, doglike Pokemon with a thick ring of yellow fur around its neck. Stan takes out his Rotom Phone and uses it to see what the Pokemon is.
"Yamper, the Puppy Pokemon. This Pokémon is very popular as a herding dog in the Galar region. As it runs, it generates electricity from the base of its tail." said Stan's Rotom Phone.
"I think I'll capture this one." said Stan. "Okay, Sobble; use Water Gun!" Sobble releases a strong stream of water from his mouth, which hits the Yamper, knocking it back a bit. The Yamper responds by charging at Sobble, and ramming into him. "Sobble, use Pound!" Sobble slams both his hands onto its head, making it fall flat on its belly. Stan quickly takes out an empty pokeball from his pocket, and throws it at the Yamper, hitting it, and sucking it in. The pokeball wiggles a few times before it clicks.
"Yes! I caught Yamper!" cheers Stan. He then uses his Rotom Phone to look up his new Yamper's information. "This says my Yamper is a boy, he knows Tackle, Tail Whip, and Nuzzle; and he has the Ball Fetch ability, which makes it if he's not holding anything after I try to catch a Pokemon and fail to do so, he'll retrieve the pokeball I tried using and brings it back to me. That can come in handy."
Cartman and Scorbunny were looking at a black and white raccoonlike Pokemon that had a pattern on its eyes that looked like sunglasses. Cartman takes out his Rotom Phone and uses it to see what the Pokemon was.
"Zigzagoon, the Tiny Raccoon Pokemon. Its restlessness has it constantly running around. If it sees another Pokémon, it will purposely run into them in order to start a fight." said Cartman's Rotom Phone.
"Okay, Scorbunny; let's kick its ass." said Cartman. Scorbunny gets ready for battle. "Scorbunny, use Quick Attack!" Scorbunny quickly runs at the Zigzagoon, and slams into it. The Zigzagoon responds by charging at Scorbunny, and rams into him. "Scorbunny, use Ember!" Scorbunny breathes out streams of fire at the Zigzagoon, hitting it. Cartman quickly takes out an empty pokeball, and throws it at the Zigzagoon, hitting it, and sucking it in. The pokeball wiggles a few times before clicking.
"Sweet! I caught a Zigzagoon!" said Cartman. He uses his Rotom Phone to look at his new Zigzagoon's information. "My Zigzagoon's a dude, he knows Tackle, Leer, Sand Attack, and Lick; and he has the Pickup ability which means he could pick up items after a battle. That sounds like a good way to get free stuff." The group was suddenly approached by a boy.
"Excuse me but are any of you Pokemon trainers?" asked the boy.
"You bet your ass we are." replied Cartman.
"I was wondering if one of you wants to have a Pokemon battle with me." said the boy.
"I'll battle you." said Kenny, stepping forward.
"Great." said the boy. Soon, Kenny and the boy were standing several feet from each other while Stan, Kyle, and Cartman watched.
"You can do it, Kenny." said Kyle. Kenny and the boy each pull out a pokeball.
"Blipbug, go!" said Kenny, throwing Blipbug's pokeball and releasing him.
"Skwovet, come out!" said the boy, throwing his pokeball and releasing a Skwovet.
"Blipbug, Struggle Bug!" said Kenny. Blipbug jumps onto Skwovet and begins wrestling around with it; he jumps off it and lands in front of Kenny.
"Skwovet, Tackle!" said the boy. Skwovet charges at Blipbug and rams him, knocking him back.
"Don't take that from it, Blipbug!" said Kenny. "Use Struggle Bug!" Blipbug jumps onto Skwovet and wrestles around with it again, this time, knocking it out.
"Skwovet, no!" exclaimed the boy.
"You did it, Blipbug." said Kenny.
"Way to go, Kenny!" said Stan. Blipbug suddenly freezes up.
"You all right, Blipbug?" asked Kenny. Blipbug suddenly begins to glow. "Hey, Blipbug's evolving!" The others gathered around and watched as Blipbug began to change. When the glowing stopped, Blipbug now had an orange, bloblike body with blue circles on his shell with blue, V-shaped feelers on the sides of his face. Kenny takes his Rotom Phone out and points it at his newly evolved Blipbug.
"Dottler, the Radome Pokemon and the evolved form of Blipbug. It barely moves, but it's still alive. Hiding in its shell without food or water seems to have awakened its psychic powers." said Kenny's Rotom Phone.
"According to my Rotom Phone, my Dottler's now part bug and part psychic, and he now knows Reflect, Light Screen, and Confusion." said Kenny.
"Sweet." said Kyle.
"Congratulations, Kenny." said Stan. Skwovet's trainer returns Skwovet to its pokeball and walks over to Kenny.
"Good battle; and congratulations on your Blipbug evolving." said Skwovet's trainer and he gives Kenny pokedollars.
"Thanks." said Kenny. His friends walk over to him.
"Wow, dude!" said Stan. "Your first Pokemon battle, and you won!"
"Talk about easy money." said Cartman. "You just made more money than your dad ever did."
"A kid's lemonade stand makes more than his dad." said Stan.
After that, the boys train their Pokemon for a while longer.
Stan's Sobble learned Water Pulse, his Rookidee learned Fury Attack, and his Yamper learned Bite.
Kyle's Grookey learned Razor Leaf, his Skwovet learned Stuff Cheeks, and his Purrloin learned Fake Out and Fury Swipes.
Cartman's Scorbunny learned Double Kick, and his Zigzagoon learned Snarl and Headbutt. While Cartman was training his Metapod, she suddenly froze up and started to glow.
"You guys! My Metapod's evolving!" shouts Cartman. His friends gather around and watch as Metapod seemingly cracked open and a butterflylike Pokemon with a purple body, blue snout, hands, and eyes; comes out and flies around.
"Whoa." said the boys with awe in their voices. Cartman uses his Rotom Phone to see what his Metapod evolved into.
"Butterfree, the Butterfly Pokemon, and the final evolved form of Caterpie. In battle, it flaps its wings at great speed to release highly toxic dust into the air." said the Rotom Phone.
"Ha, ha!" said Cartman. "I got a fully evolved Pokemon first!"
"Whatever, dude." said Kyle. Cartman looks at his Butterfree's information.
"My Butterfree learned Gust, Supersonic, and Confusion; and she has the Compound Eyes ability which increases her accuracy." said Cartman.
"We can't let him do better than us, dude." said Kyle.
"We should definitely catch more Pokemon and train them." said Stan.
"But let's go to Professor Magnolia's place first." said Kenny. With that, the boys head down the road towards their next destination.
