Wild Area and Pokemon Dens (Part Two)
Near the stairs leading up to Motostoke, the boys and their Pokemon have just finished eating lunch.
"Man, that was good curry." said Kenny.
"Yeah, I'm full." said Cartman, patting his stomach.
"I find that hard to believe." replied Kyle.
"Kyle, shut your Arceus damn mouth!" exclaimed Cartman. Kenny reaches into his backpack and pulls out the ball of gold; he looks at it. "Hey, where'd you get that, Kenny?"
"Found it in a Pokemon Den." said Kenny. "I wonder if I can sell this at a PokeMart."
"Maybe I should go down a Pokemon Den and find something for myself." said Cartman.
"Assuming you can fit your fat ass down one." replied Kyle.
"Shut up Kyle or I'll kick you in the nuts!" exclaimed Cartman. The boys began packing up their stuff when they hear someone calling out to them.
"Excuse me, boys." a man standing near the stairs calling out to them.
"Yeah?" replied Stan.
"I'm a Watt Trader." replied the man, now known as a Watt Trader.
"So what?" asked Cartman.
"I can sell you some items for Watts if you have some." replied the Watt Trader.
"I have three hundred Watts on me." said Kyle as he walks to the Watt Trader while pulling his Rotom Phone out of his pocket. "Do you have anything I can buy with that much?" The man reaches into a large duffel bag and pulls out a black pokeball with a golden ring around it.
"I can sell you this Luxury Ball for just one hundred Watts." said the Watt Trader.
"Sweet; that makes the Pokemon caught with that friendlier, right?" replied Kyle.
"Exactly." said the Watt Trader.
"I'll take one." said Kyle. He transfers one hundred Watts from his Rotom Phone to the white one the Watt Trader had on him; after that, he gives Kyle the Luxury Ball. "Thanks, dude."
"You're welcome." replied the Watt Trader. Kyle then returns to the others while putting his Luxury Ball in his backpack.
"Cool." said Kenny. "I should try to get some Watts also."
"Maybe we should go into the city and get some supplies?" suggested Stan. "And maybe see what these mushrooms I found in a Pokemon Den are."
"Ha! You found some lame mushrooms." said Cartman.
"Let's just go." said Stan. They both enter the city and head for the nearest Pokemon Center they saw. Once they find one, they head inside it and go over to the PokeMart.
"What can I do for you, boys?" asked the clerk. Stan takes out the two mushrooms he found and puts them on the counter.
"Can you tell me if these are worth something?" asked Stan. The clerk gawks at the mushrooms.
"Those are Balm Mushrooms!" said the clerk. "Those are very valuable."
"How come?" asked Stan.
"Potion manufacturers dry them up and ground them into powder to use as an ingredient in their stronger potions." said the clerk.
"Really?" replied Stan. "How much can I sell them for?"
"For two of them; I can give you thirty thousand pokedollars." said the clerk, making the boys' eyes widen.
"THIRTY THOUSAND?!" replied Stan. He quickly slides the Balm Mushrooms to the clerk who then gives Stan the money. Stan and his friends gawk at all the money that he got.
"I have GOT to find a Pokemon Den and find some of those." said Cartman. Kenny then pulls the gold orb he found earlier and puts it on the counter.
"Is this worth anything?" asked Kenny, making the clerk stare with surprise at the objects.
"You bet it is!" said the clerk. "That's a Big Nugget!"
"So what can I get for it?" asked Kenny.
"For one, I can give you forty thousand pokedollars." said the clerk.
"FORTY THOUSAND?!" replied Kenny.
"Hey, I got some Big Nuggets, too." said Kyle as he takes the two Big Nuggets and puts them on the counter.
"For two, I'll give you eighty thousand." said the clerk.
"Sweet!" said Kyle. The clerk takes the Big Nuggets and gives Kenny and Kyle the money he promised.
"Dude, that's a lot of money!" said Stan. Cartman then runs out the Pokemon Center door.
"Where's Cartman going?" asked Kenny.
"Probably to find a Pokemon Den." said Stan.
"He must really want to find stuff he can sell." said Kyle. "Usually, he runs like that if there's a sale on candy." The boys quickly buy some pokeballs and run off after Cartman.
Cartman was soon outside the city in East Lake Axewell, looking all around the area.
"Gotta find a Pokemon Den! Must find valuable items and get super rich!" said Cartman. He soon sees a Pokemon Den that had a beam of light coming out of it. He quickly runs over to it and jumps inside. He soon finds himself standing in a wasteland where a giant purple scorpionlike Pokemon was looking at him. Cartman takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Skorupi, the Scorpion Pokemon. It attacks using the claws on its tail. Once locked in its grip, its prey is unable to move as this Pokémon's poison seeps in." said Cartman's Rotom Phone.
"I'm kicking this thing's ass and catching it." said Cartman as he takes out his Scorbunny's pokeball and lets him out of it. He then returns Scorbunny to his pokeball and uses his Dynamax Band to enlarge it, then heaves it as far as he could, letting Scorbunny out again, this time Dynamaxed.
"Scorbunny, use Max Flare!" said Cartman. Scorbunny releases a large plume of fire from his body at the Skorupi, hitting it, and doing super effective damage. The sunlight in the Pokemon Den starts to get intense. Skorupi then summons up pillars of purple slime which hit Scorbunny, damaging him. A surge of energy rises up from Skorupi. "Hurry and use Max Flare again!" Scorbunny releases another plume of fire from himself, only this time it was much stronger, and it hits Skorupi, doing enough super effective damage to cause the energy in it to explode and freeze it in place. Cartman quickly takes out an empty pokeball and uses his Dynamax Band to enlarge it; he then heaves it at the Skorupi, hitting it, and sucking it in. The pokeball wiggles it a few times before clicking.
"Sweet! I caught a Skorupi!" said Cartman. He soon finds himself back outside and sees some berries, a TR, and two blue, four-pointed rocks near the Pokemon Den he was in.
"What are these?" asked Cartman as he pockets the objects. He looks up his new Skorupi's data on his Rotom Phone. "This says my Skorupi is a girl, she's part bug and part poison type, she knows Poison Sting, Leer, Hone Claws, Fell Stinger, Poison Fang, Bite, and Toxic Spikes; and she has the Battle Armor ability which makes it so her opponents attacks won't ever be critical hits."
At the Rolling Fields area, Kyle was walking towards an active Pokemon Den; upon reaching it, Kyle climbs inside it and soon found himself facing a bipedal, yellow and cream colored, lizardlike Pokemon. Kyle points his Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Scraggy, the Shedding Pokemon. If it locks eyes with you, watch out! Nothing and no one is safe from the reckless headbutts of this troublesome Pokémon." said Kyle's Rotom Phone. Kyle puts his Rotom Phone in his pocket and pulls a pokeball out of his belt.
"Okay, this says Scraggy's part fighting type and part dark type." said Kyle. "Let's go, Arrokuda!" Arrokuda's pokeball and releasing her. Kyle then returns Arrokuda to her pokeball and enlarges it with his Dynamax Band. He tosses it and releases a now Dynamaxed Arrokuda. "Okay, Arrokuda, Max Airstream!" Arrokuda unleashes a cyclone from her body, and it hits Scraggy, dealing super effective damage to it. Arrokuda begins surging with energy and her speed increases. Scraggy unleashes two streams of black energy from his hands and they hit Arrokuda, damaging her and lowering her special defense. "Max Geyser!" Arrokuda unleashes a massive stream of water from her mouth, and it hits Scraggy, damaging it. It suddenly began to rain inside the den. Scraggy begins surging with energy and a fist made of energy comes down from the sky and it hits Arrokuda, damaging her. Scraggy begins to surge with more energy. "Max Geyser!" Arrokuda unleashes an even stronger stream of water from her mouth, and it hits Scraggy. The energy surrounding Scraggy explodes and it freezes in place. Kyle takes out an empty pokeball and enlarges it with his Dynamax Band; he throws it at Scraggy, hitting it, and sucking it it. It moved around a few times before returning to its regular size and clicks.
"Cool. I caught a Scraggy." said Kyle. He then finds himself back in the Rolling Fields outside the Pokemon Den he was in. He sees two smaller balls of gold, a pear-like berry, and a TR. He picks them up and puts them in his backpack; he then uses his Rotom Phone to learn more about his new Scraggy. "My new Scraggy's a dude, he knows Low Kick, Leer, Payback, Headbutt, and Sand Attack; he also has the Moxie ability, which increases his attack stregnth when he beats a Pokemon in a Pokemon battle; sweet."
With Kenny, he was near a hill that had the ruins of a tower at the top of it, he was looking at a Pokemon Den that had a beam of light coming out of it.
"Here goes nothing." said Kenny as he hops into it after collecting Watts. Once inside, he sees a large, white, humanoid Pokemon that had a green dome over its head that had red protrusions coming out of the front and back of it. Kenny takes out his Rotom Phone and uses it to see what the Pokemon was.
"Ralts, the Feeling Pokemon. If its horns capture the warm feelings of people or Pokémon, its body warms up slightly." said Kenny's Rotom Phone.
"That sounds nice." said Kenny. He takes out his Dottler's pokeball and lets him out of it. Kenny then returns Dottler to his pokeball and uses his Dynamax Band to enlarge it; then he throws the enlarged pokeball, releasing his, now Dynamaxed, Dottler.
"Okay, Dottler! Use Max Flutterby!" said Kenny. Dottler releases a swarm of glowing green butterflies which hit the Ralts. The Ralts' energy seemed to get weaker, then it responds by summoning up rings of psychic energy and bombards Dottler with them, but not doing a lot of damage to him. "Dottler, use Max Flutterby again!" Dottler hits the Ralts with another barrage of butterflies, damaging and weakening the Ralts further. The Ralts reacts by creating large yellowish green stars and dropping them onto Dottler, damaging him more. A mysterious fog appears around them. "I gotta end this quickly! Dottler, use one more Max Flutterby!" Dottler releases one last barrage of butterflies at the Ralts, this time damaging it enough to cause the energy in it to explode. Kenny then quickly takes out an empty pokeball and uses his Dynamax Band to enlarge it; he then heaves it at the Ralts, hitting it, and sucking it in. The pokeball lands on the ground and wiggles a few times before clicking.
"Yes! I caught a Ralts!" said Kenny. He then finds himself outside the Pokemon Den and sees two Big Mushrooms, two curved yellow and pink berries, along with a Technical Record for the move Zen Headbutt. Kenny then looks up his new Ralts' information.
"This says my new Ralts is a dude, he knows Growl, Disarming Voice, Double Team, Confusion, Hypnosis, Draining Kiss, and Teleport; and he has the Synchrozine ability which makes it if a Pokemon causes him to be poisoned, paralyzed, or burned; then the same thing will happen to the other Pokemon." He looks at the Zen Headbutt TR and decides to use it on his Dottler, believing he could use another attack. He pockets the other items he got from the Pokemon Den and decides to continue exploring.
With Stan, he was exploring East Lake Axewell and he soon comes across an active Pokemon Den; he jumps into it and he immediately sees a red, lobsterlike Pokemon. Stan takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Corphish, the Ruffian Pokemon. No matter how dirty the water in the river, it will adapt and thrive. It has a strong will to survive." said Stan's Rotom Phone.
"Able to adapt to anywhere he goes? Kind of sounds like me and my friends because we always manage to survive any mess we get into against all sorts of odds." said Stan. He takes out his Yamper's pokeball and releases him from it. He then returns Yamper to his pokeball and uses his Dynamax Band to enlarge it; he then heaves it as hard as he can and releases him, only this time he's Dynamaxed.
"Okay, Yamper, use Max Lightning!" said Stan. Yamper releases electricity into the sky, which then comes down as a giant lightning bolt onto the Corphish, doing super effective damage. The area is suddenly covered in electricity. The Corphish responds by releasing a streaming geyser of water at Yamper and hits him. It soon starts to rain in the area also. "Yamper, use one more Max Lightning!" Yamper starts gathering the electricity that's filling the area and releases it, along with some of his own, into the sky where it comes down as another, stronger, lightning bolt, hitting Corpish, doing enough super effective damage to cause the energy in it to explode, freezing it in place.
Seeing his chance to capture it, he takes out an empty pokeball, uses his Dynamax Band to enlarge it, and throws it at the Corphish, hitting it, and sucking it in; after the pokeball lands on the ground, it shakes once, returns to its normal size, and clicks.
"Kick ass!" said Stan. "I caught Corphish!" He soon finds himself outside the Pokemon Den. After he picks up his new Corphish's pokeball, along with the berries, two large white orbs, and a TR for Waterfall; he uses his Rotom Phone to look up his new Corphish's data.
"My new Corphish is a dude, he knows Water Gun, Harden, Leer, Taunt, Bubble Beam, and Knock Off; and he has the Hyper Cutter ability which makes it so his attack power can't be lowered by his opponent" said Stan.
The boys also spent their time training their Pokemon as well.
Stan's Drizzle learned Tearful Look, his Rookidee learned Taunt, his Yamper learned Spark, his Oddish learned Stun Spore, Sleep Powder, and Giga Drain; and his Corphish learned Double Hit. Also, during Rookidee's training, he freezes up and starts to glow.
"Whoa; you're evolving!" said Stan. Stan watches as his Rookidee starts to change; when she finished, she was bigger, her body was mostly nave blue and her head being black, and her beak and wings were longer with her wings being black tipped. Stan takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at his newly evolved Rookidee.
"Corvisquire, the Raven Pokemon, and the evolved form of Rookidee. Smart enough to use tools in battle, these Pokémon have been seen picking up rocks and flinging them or using ropes to wrap up enemies." said the Rotom Phone.
"That's so awesome!" said Stan.
Kyle's Thwackey learned Screech, his Arrokuda learned Agility, his Axew learned Dragon Claw, and his Scraggy learned Facade. His Skwovet and Purrloin also got stronger.
Kenny's Dottler and Magikarp got stronger, his Nickit learned Assurance and Nasty Plot, his Nuzleaf learned Mega Drain, his Bunnelby learned Double Kick, and his Ralts learned Psybeam. Bunnelby also found a Potion with her Pickup ability, but that's not the only thing she did; while training, Kenny's Bunnelby, Magikarp, and Nickit all froze up and started to glow.
"Wow! You're all evolving!" said Kenny. He watches his Pokemon all start to change before his eyes. His Nickit's body was bigger, longer, and he looked like he was wearing a mask over his eyes. Kenny takes out his Rotom Phone and holds it towards his newly evolved Nickit.
"Thievul, the Fox Pokemon, and the evolved form of Nickit. It secretly marks potential targets with a scent. By following the scent, it stalks its targets and steals from them when they least expect it." said Kenny's Rotom Phone.
"Cool! And this says that you learned the move Thief." said Kenny. He then looks over at his evolved Bunnelby; her body was bigger, wider, her ears were longer and looked stronger, and around her waist was what looked like a brown and yellow-striped fur belt. Kenny points his Rotom Phone at his newly evolved Bunnelby.
"Diggersby, the Digging Pokemon, and the evolved form of Bunnelby. With power equal to an excavator, it can dig through dense bedrock. It's a huge help during tunnel construction." said Kenny's Rotom Phone.
Kenny then looks at his newly evolved Magikarp and was stunned by what he looked like now; his body was a LOT longer, his scales were blue, he had a cream-colored underbelly, along his back were spiky dorsal fins, he had two long blue whiskers on his face, his mouth was bigger and had sharp fangs in it, and a blue, three-pointed crest on his forehead. Kenny continued to stare at his newly evolved Magikarp as he points his Rotom Phone at it.
"Gyarados, the Atrocious Pokemon, and the evolved form of Magikarp. It has an extremely aggressive nature. The Hyper Beam it shoots from its mouth totally incinerates all targets." said Kenny's Rotom Phone.
"Man, Cartman's going to go crazy when he sees you." said Kenny, making Gyarados roar towards the sky. "And this says you learned Bite, Leer, Twister, Whirlpool, Ice Fang, Brine, and Scary Face; and you also have the Intimidate ability now which weakens your opponent's attack strengths."
Speaking of Cartman; his Raboot learned Flame Charge, his Butterfree learned Psybeam and Whirlwind, his Zigzagoon learned Pin Missile, his Pancham learned Low Sweep, and Work Up; and his Skorupi learned Bug Bite.
Also, during the training, his Zigzagoon froze up and started to glow.
"Sweet, you're evolving!" said Cartman. He watches as his Zigzagoon started to change; when he was done, his body was longer, his skin was smoother, his underbelly and legs were black, and he had a long tongue hanging out of his mouth. Cartman points his Rotom Phone at his newly evolved Zigzagoon.
"Linoone, the Rushing Pokemon, and the evolved form of Zigzagoon. It uses its long tongue to taunt opponents. Once the opposition is enraged, this Pokémon hurls itself at the opponent, tackling them forcefully." said Cartman's Rotom Phone.
"Kewl." said Cartman. "And this says you learned Night Slash when you evolved. My friends are going to be so jealous."
Soon, the sun was starting to go down, and everyone meets up in front of Motostoke and sets up camp for the night. As they made dinner for themselves, they let their Pokemon out so they can hang out together. Stan, Kyle, and Cartman were looking at Kenny's Gyarados with stunned shock.
"That's one dangerous-looking Pokemon." said Stan.
"Not so lame now, is he, Cartman?" Kenny says to Cartman, making Gyarados roar at him, causing him to hide behind the boys' tent.
"Cartman, I can still see you." said Stan as he's Cartman's butt sticking out.
"Dude, he can hide behind a Snorlax and you could still see him." said Kyle.
"Shut up, Kyle!" Cartman shouts from behind the tent.
"Well, guys; tomorrow we get our endorsements." said Stan.
"Do you think we can do it?" asked Kyle.
"We have to, Kyle." said Stan. "Otherwise, we can't do the Gym Challenge."
"We'll just need to give it our all." said Kenny.
"I'll bet I do better than you assholes." said Cartman.
"We're trying to get endorsements; not enter a pie-eating contest, fatass." said Kyle.
"Let's save our energy for tomorrow." said Stan.
"Good idea." said Kenny. Once dinner was ready, everyone ate, then cleaned their dishes, and finally went to sleep.
