Two years. It's been two years since Rosalie and Evan finally got the courage they were both lacking and told each other how they felt. In those two years there were a few ups and downs, from arguments to both of them, at different times, almost dying at the hands of their enemies.
Once they had Elizabeth's permission to be together, which she gave them with an exasperated sigh saying that it was about damn time, something they were already expecting, word spread fairly quickly. Their friends congratulated them and some even told them the same as Elizabeth, making them believe that maybe they hadn't been as good at disguising how they felt as they thought.
Now, two years later, Rosalie is standing in one of the corridors of Atlantis, nervously playing with the hems of her sleeves, with Daniel standing at her side and facing a closed door. She keeps taking deep breaths, but she can't seem to steady herself.
She hears Daniel telling her that she doesn't need to be nervous, and when she looks at him, she sees the kind smile that he always seems to wear. She takes another deep breath, but the nerves persist.
All of a sudden, Daniel tells her it's time. She nods and takes his offered arm, just as the door opens. Taking a final deep breath, she walks into the balcony and her eyes search for the one person she knows will be able to settle her nerves.
As soon as her eyes find Evan, all her nerves are forgotten and she smiles at him, seeing him with tears in his eyes. She looks to his left and she sees Sheppard standing beside him. She smiles at the man, before looking to the other side and spotting Samantha there, a huge smile on her face.
She finally reaches Evan and Daniel hands her over to him, whispering something in his ear, before kissing the side of her head and leaving. She smiles at Evan, wanting to kiss him but deciding against it.
Evan walks her over to where Sheppard and Samantha are and she smiles at Jack, who's now standing in the middle of them. He smiles at both of them and nods, as if asking if they are ready.
They both nod and look back at each other, before looking around the balcony, seeing that they are surrounded by their friends and the love they all feel for them.
Jack clears his throat and looks around at everyone before speaking.
-"Dear friends, we are gathered here today to celebrate Rosalie and Evan's wedding."
The End.
