All right now, readers. Here is the seventh chapter of this story!

Now, starting with this chapter, we're no longer focusing on just Andrew and Goombella traveling while using the quotes of the latter in the script alone. Because a second partner will be joining Andrew to go to Hooktail Castle.

One other thing I should say is that beginning with the next chapter, I'm gonna be using a bunch of notes that I wrote down from researching certain quotes that partners say individually for specific situations.

And let me say that it took me a while to write down those quotes, seeing that I had to watch YouTube playthroughs, play the game myself, look online for the quotes, and all that other stuff. Since Andrew will have two partners with him, this will be put into effect by the next chapter.

Anyway, for this chapter, Andrew and Goombella meet up with a familiar shy face, Andrew gains his second partner after hearing about his backstory, a piece of Andrew's backstory will be revealed here, and the three travelers solve a puzzle to unveil the secret pipe to Hooktail Castle. How will this go? Find out right now, readers!

IN PETALBURG:

We now see that Koops was still in his house in Petalburg. He was frustrated with himself. He had that one chance to be able to defeat Hooktail. And he blew it. He let his 'own' shyness get the better of him.

He had his 'own' personal reasons for wanting to take down Hooktail, and he thought that traveling with Andrew and Goombella there would've been the massive opportunity that he'd been waiting for. But when he confronted them earlier before they headed to Shhwonk Fortress, he pretty much chickened out and went back home.

Koops first learned about Andrew and Goombella when they were at the mayor's house. The part of the conversation that caught his attention was when Mayor Kroop started yapping to the two adventurers about Hooktail, and then Andrew promised that they could dispose of Hooktail from the area permanently, with Goombella agreeing with him.

When Koops saw Andrew, he felt that the muscular man was strong enough to take on a giant dragon, like Hooktail. He has the bode to handle it, and he could've sworn that he saw a six-pack abs underneath his shirt, which told him that Andrew is pretty powerful.

As for Goombella...well he assumed that she was under Andrew's care and was traveling with him to Hooktail Castle for important reasons, which he guessed were the same reasons that Andrew was going there.

The shy Koopa was well aware that everyone in Petalburg saw him as a coward. Even his 'own' girlfriend seems to think so. But if he had just asked to travel with them to the castle, he could prove them wrong.

But he failed. He failed to ask them to show he wasn't a coward, and he failed to do it for other personal reasons. As of right now, he was pretty sure that they were heading straight for the castle right now.

Then he stopped thinking like that to himself. He knew that they had to get the Stone Keys from Shhwonk Fortress first before even thinking of being able to reach Hooktail Castle. This was still his chance to do so. He just had to talk to them about it on the outskirts of Petalburg.

I'm gonna do it... Koops thought as he stood up from his bed and went downstairs. I'm gonna ask them right outside of town. This... This is my only chance to be able to get to do this. Umm... I just hope it works...

With that determined thought in mind, Koops exited his house, walked through Petalburg, and headed for the west side of town, not paying attention to anybody who saw him walk by. He had a mission, and he was going to go through with it.

He was eventually on the outskirts of town, as he passed the gate and stood right near the recently put-up bridge. And he waited. He waited patiently for the moment Andrew and Goombella showed up to get to Hooktail Castle. He just hoped that this idea would work...

By now, Andrew and Goombella had made it back to Petalburg, as they were passing through most of the buildings in town. Their next goal was to head to Hooktail Castle since they had the Sun and Moon Stones. As they were in front of the Item Shop, Andrew had to make a suggestion.

"We might want to stock up on some items at the store before we head to Hooktail Castle, Goombella," he told his Goomba partner. "It's better to play it safe than sorry."

"Gotcha, Andrew. Brilliant thinking," Goombella grinned. "You'd never know when we're gonna encounter something at the castle. And it'll be helpful if we get stuck in a rut."

"Exactly," Andrew nodded. "Let's go stock up on supplies."

And that's what they did once they entered the store. Out of everything that they could get from the store, they ended up buying 3 Mr. Softeners, 2 'Fire Flowers', a Mushroom, and a POW Block. They still had the Courage Shells that they had bought earlier. Something told them that they'll need them when they explore Hooktail Castle.

Once they were done shopping, all of the items ended up in Andrew's backpack as they walked out and headed for the way they came into Petalburg when they first got there.

"Well, shall we head to Hooktail Castle?" Andrew suggested.

"I'm all for it," Goombella was ready to head to the castle and to find the first Crystal Star.

Seeing how determined she was, Andrew said nothing else as he and Goombella passed by the Inn and headed out of Petalburg, and straight to Petal Meadows, where someone was waiting for them...

IN THE PETAL MEADOWS - ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF PETALBURG:

The two adventurers passed by the gate as they were heading for the bridge that they put back up themselves. Andrew couldn't help but think back to the shy Koopa that they encountered before they left for the Shhwonk Fortress.

Could he still be wanting to talk to them? And what was it that he wanted from him and Goombella? Before he could think about it further, and maybe talk with Goombella about it, the two of them heard someone that got their attention.

"Ummm... Excuse me..." A rather familiar shy voice said as Andrew looked up to see who it was.

It was Koops. And it looked like he still wanted to talk with him and Goombella about what he wanted. Goombella noticed him too as she was also curious by seeing him out here. It was then Andrew decided to say something.

"It's you again," Andrew remembered him. "What's up, Koops?"

"It's... It's Andrew, right?" Koops wanted to make sure that he had the right person that he needed to talk to.

"That's right," Andrew pointed to himself and then Goombella. "That would be my name, and Goombella is here too."

"Whatcha waiting out here for us to get here, huh?" Goombella queried, raising an eyebrow.

"Look, I... Ummmm..." Koops struggled to speak to them. "See, the thing is, I've been waiting here in the hope of getting to speak with you."

"Well, we're here now," Andrew assured him. "We were just about to head to Hooktail Castle when we saw you waiting for us."

"Right... Ummm... That reminds me," Koops continued. "I have to ask you something, and you can say no, but I'm going to throw it out there."

"Of course," Andrew encouraged. "Just get whatever is on your mind and spill it with us."

Koops had to gulp as he knew what this meant. It was time.

It's now or never... Koops thought as he walked over to Andrew and Goombella.

"Okay, Koops. What's up? We're waiting," Goombella advised him, trying to sound as patient as she possibly could.

"Ummmmmm... See..." Koops uttered shyly. "I was wondering... Would you..."

It was then Koops took a deep breath and proceeded to yell while in a begging position. "OH, PLEASE TAKE ME WITH YOU TO FIGHT HOOKTAIL! PLEASE! I'M BEGGING YOU!"

"WHOA!" Andrew and Goombella had to jump at the abrupt yelling, and from what he told them.

Andrew couldn't believe what he just heard. Did Koops 'really' just say that? Did he just say that he wanted to come with him and Goombella to Hooktail Castle to fight Hooktail? Did he not understand the danger that could come with trying to fight a fierce dragon such as this particular one?

He and Goombella had to pant from catching themselves after hearing Koops yell like that.

Koops realized that that spooked them a bit, as he said. "Sorry about that."

A few moments after Andrew caught himself, he noticed that he and Goombella were thinking the same thing. Why was Koops willing to throw his life away like this by wanting to go with them to fight Hooktail? This whole situation seemed rather puzzling.

It was then Andrew finally spoke up. "Uhhhh, Koops?"

"Yeah?" Koops was curious by Andrew's rather calm tone.

"Listen," Andrew got right to the point. "I hope you realize that we're not going on a joyride here. We're going to take down a menacing dragon that's been terrorizing the town of Petalburg, and has been eating the Koopa residents that live there."

Andrew then suddenly said in a rather dark tone. "And there's a chance that we may not make it out of the castle alive."

"But we're still willing to take that chance," Goombella added in a dry tone. "Regardless of what happens to us."

"Right, Goombella," Andrew said to his Goomba partner before turning around to face the shy Koopa. "Now, I suppose you have a 'really' good reason for wanting to come with us to take down Hooktail. So, let's hear it."

"Yeah. We might as well hear about your beef with Hooktail," Goombella added before asking. "What could 'possibly' be so important that you'd want to come with us to defeat Hooktail?"

Koops was expecting them to say something along that line. And he was prepared to give his explanation, right then and there.

"Well... You see... My dad... He went off to battle Hooktail long ago," Koops then made the shocking reveal. "...But he never came back."

It didn't take long for Andrew and Goombella to get clued in on what he revealed, and the revelation that was behind it. So that's it. His problem with Hooktail has something to do with his missing father. And that there was the horrifying implication that his father was dead.

Goombella then frowned not just from hearing his rather tragic personal reason. But also from misjudging him when she did.

"Jeepers. Gosh. And here I thought you had issues or something," Goombella then worked on apologizing to him. "But you're just missing your father who was likely eaten by Hooktail. I'm sorry that I thought you were a cringer with issues. I take back my original thoughts that I had about you, Koops."

"Ummm... It's fine... Really..." Koops said under his breath.

Andrew, meanwhile, was quick to figure out why Koops wanted to fight Hooktail and take it down. And it had to do with his father.

"I get it," Andrew snapped his finger. "You want to avenge your father, right?"

"I miss him, of course... I miss him badly. But this isn't just about avenging my dad," Koops had to back himself up a bit when he realized that Andrew was right. "Well, no... That's not true. Revenge is a part of it, I guess. A big part."

It was then Koops decided to add onto that. "But the truth is, I want to finish what Dad started. For his sake. For everyone's sake."

Andrew could notice the expression on Koops' face, and that it must've been hard for him to come out here and tell them all of this. That he just wanted to get rid of Hooktail permanently. He then figured out that there must be more to it than just avenging his father.

"Uh, Koops," Andrew started to say. "I get the feeling that there is more to it than just avenging your father, isn't there?"

"I... Man, this is embarrassing..." Koops took a deep breath before continuing. "See, everyone always says I'm a crybaby... A weakling."

"Is that so," Andrew wondered thoughtfully.

"But if I can defeat Hooktail... Well, I won't be those things," Koops proclaimed. "I'll be strong, like my dad."

"I see..." Andrew said in a low tone, as he worked on thinking this whole thing over.

"I know it'll be dangerous, but I still want to go!" Koops then pleaded with them. "Please, Andrew and Goombella!"

"What d'you think, Andrew?" Goombella decided to ask the muscular man who was in deep thought about what he had just learned.

Andrew was still concerned. He didn't want to be responsible for having this young Koopa throw his life away just to kill off a fearsome dragon. And for rather personal reasons too.

However, he started to reevaluate everything Koops had told them; that he wanted to do something that his dad would've been proud of. It reminded Andrew alot like him and how he was always there for his mother.

Andrew always had the best memories with his mother growing up, and as a child, he always looked up to her for help. As he got older, and became a teenager, Andrew started doing more for his mother, even while he was attending high school.

Every day since then, he's always been there to help his mom and was willing to do everything he could to help her by the time he entered his early 20s. Even when she was on the verge of dying, he was always there for her, no matter what. It made her death more tragic to him.

After his mother died, he used up a good amount of his money to pay for her funeral. And he wanted it to not just be a regular funeral. He made sure that it was the best funeral she could've been given. And one that would've made her proud of her son for going through that kind of trouble for her.

Even so, her death still left an empty spot in Andrew's life. And it was one of the reasons why he moved out of his old home, and eventually settled with living in the Mushroom Kingdom, all by himself. Her death still made him sad to this day.

He knew what it was like to lose a parent and wanted to do whatever he could for said lost parent. There was 'absolutely' no way that Andrew could turn down Koops' offer to avenge his own father's death. Making sure he wasn't crying, Andrew wiped his eyes and looked at him. He had made his decision.

"Of 'course' you can come, Koops," Andrew told him, straight up.

Koops then perked up when he heard Andrew say those words, as he was jumping for joy. "For real? No kidding?"

"Absolutely. We'd love to have you along. Right, Goombella?" Andrew said truthfully as he asked his Goomba partner.

"Yeah! You betcha," Goombella beamed. "We'd love to have you come with us to Hooktail Castle to beat Hooktail!"

"Yes!" Koops was beyond thrilled as he shook Andrew's hand rather excitedly. "Thank you so much! You won't regret this!"

"I already know that I won't regret this," Andrew said with a small smile before asking. "So Koops? Since Goombella can Tattle on everything in the area, what is it that you do? Can you launch yourself in your shell several feet to hit switches and stuff?"

"Ummm... Oh, yes! O-Of course. That's what I can do," Koops exclaimed sheepishly. "But, uh, there's more. See, I can hold my shell in place, while you move, and, uh, stuff."

"Can you demonstrate it to us?" Andrew was curious.

"Uh, sure," Koops accepted. "Just say when, and, uh...I'll stop."

Andrew and Goombella nodded as Koops went into his shell and moved several feet ahead before remaining in one spot, spinning in place as he waited for Andrew to give him the word.

"Wow," Andrew seemed amazed. "Okay, Koops. That'll be all!"

It was then Koops launched himself towards the gate before stopping and coming out of his shell, as he then walked back over to Andrew and Goombella. "Ummm...How'd I do?"

"How'd you do? Well, I think that was excellent," Andrew praised him.

"Really? You mean it?" Koops had to make sure.

"Yeah. That was 'totally' awesome," Goombella exclaimed. "We love what you brought to the table, Koops."

"All right... Nice..." Koops smiled. "I swear, I'll do my best to help you guys out when you need it."

"Thanks for that, Koops," Andrew seemed grateful for that. "Now, why don't we head off?"

"Yeah. OK, Andrew and Goombella," Koops nodded. "Let's get going!"

"You got it," Goombella said as the three of them walked off towards Hooktail Castle.

However, there was still one thing that Koops had to deal with. Something that he had forgotten about until this very moment.

"Koops..." A rather feminine voice got their attention.

"Hmm?" Andrew and Goombella were curious about this as they turned around along with Koops.

Uh oh... I completely forgot about her... Koops thought as he then saw the person that he had forgotten about.

It was another Koopa, who happened to be a girl. This Koopa was known as Koopie Koo. She was shown with long blonde hair that was in a ponytail, not unlike Goombella's, and she had a pink hair tie holding it together.

Her shell was a lighter shade of green than most of the other Koopas, she had pink short sleeves on her arms even though she wasn't wearing a shirt over her shell. This also went for her pink pants, in which only the sleeves were shown. Lastly, she was wearing white shoes, that had pink heels on the bottom of them.

Andrew noticed that Koopie Koo seemed to be giving Koops the look, in which he was just caught red-handed doing something without her approval. He then watched as Koops decided to speak up.

"Oh... Golly... Umm..." Koops had trouble speaking to her properly. "Hi... Hi, Koopie... Koopie Koo... Did you overhear all that?"

"Well, part of it. Koops... I THOUGHT I heard you say you're off to fight Hooktail..." Koopie Koo admitted. "But...you're joking, right? I mean, you're not exactly a powerhouse... He'll eat you up!"

Koops expected this from her, but he stood his ground. "I know, Koopie Koo. But I want to be tougher. For you... So I have to do this..."

It was then that Koopie Koo shook her head and sighed at this.

"No, Koops, you don't. I mean, going off to some dangerous place? It's... It's stupid," Koopie Koo told him sharply. "So what if you're timid? And sort of a crybaby. I don't care about all that. I just want you to be you. So, don't go..."

Andrew had to stare off and wonder, who was Koopie Koo supposed to be? Koops' girlfriend or his mother? Because if she was 'actually' the former to Koops, he hoped that she knew about the limitations of being protective.

Still, Koops was inclined to stick with Andrew and Goombella and take down Hooktail as he made it clear to her.

"Sorry, Koopie Koo... I've made up my mind," Koops remained firm before saying rather confidentially. "No need to worry, though! After all, I'm traveling with Andrew. He's the man!"

"And he's quite strong too," Goombella added, making sure she knew this.

Andrew seemed a little flattered by this. By now, he should expect Goombella to think rather fondly of him. But he was pleased to see that Koops, his new partner, thought of him in such a positive way.

By contrast, Koopie Koo did not like this decision one bit. And she decided to let Koops know how she felt about it.

"FINE! IGNORE ME!" Koopie Koo yelled, going into her shell, and launched herself towards the bridge to knock Koops to the side. To an extent, she also knocked over Andrew and Goombella as well.

"STUBBORN KOOPA!" Koopie Koo shouted again, knocking all three of them down again as she launched herself back to Petalburg angrily. She didn't look back as it looked like she had some tears forming but didn't let them show as she went back to town.

Andrew, Goombella, and Koops got back up as the latter shook his head in shame, even though he had to do this.

"I'm sorry, Koopie Koo..." Koops apologized, even though she was out of earshot by now. "I swear to you... I will come back to you a stronger Koopa!"

"Jeepers," Goombella moaned, shaking her head from that impact. "What is that girl's beef?"

"I dunno for sure," Andrew dusted himself off. "But I'm pretty certain that she's rather overprotective of Koops."

"Ummm...Don't mind her, g-guys," Koops told them. "She's not bad. She was just, ummm...overreacting..."

"Saying she was overreacting is putting it lightly, Koops," Andrew informed him while tugging on his handkerchief.

"Very, very lightly," Goombella decided to add dryly.

"Well, anyway Andrew, that's that, I guess," Koops decided to get them back on track. "No turning back! Hooktail's castle awaits!"

"You got it, Koops," Andrew nodded. "Let's go, Goombella."

"Right," Goombella also nodded as the three of them crossed the bridge. But not before Andrew found a 'Mystery' item in the bushes nearby, which he put into his backpack as they headed straight for Hooktail Castle.

As they headed there, Andrew remembered something. The Happy Heart Badge that he couldn't get earlier. If what he knew about Koops' ability was correct, then he could also use it to retrieve items and badges for him that he could get alone. Once he was in front of the smaller pipe, he got his newfound Koopa partner's attention.

"Hey, Koops? With your ability, you can retrieve items and badges that I couldn't reach alone, can you?" Andrew asked.

"Uh, yeah. Y-Yeah, I can," Koops seemed rather curious. "Why do you ask?"

"Come with me. I'll need your help with something," Andrew motioned him to follow as he jumped on top of the pipe.

Koops followed him as they both went down the pipe and came back up on top of the taller pipe as Goombella watched them. She saw the Happy Heart Badge and realized what Andrew was about to do.

"Okay Koops, I'd like you to launch yourself in your shell to get that badge over there," Andrew instructed.

"Right," Koops said sheepishly as he got into his shell.

Andrew then jumped and sent Koops towards the Happy Heart Badge, which he successfully grabbed from the distance as he returned to Andrew like a boomerang.

Once the badge was on top of Koops' shell, Andrew grabbed it as Koops came out and was on his feet.

"Thanks, Koops," Andrew thanked him. "Let's head back down."

Koops didn't say anything as he and Andrew went back down the pipe and came back out the smaller pipe. They jumped down as they approached Goombella.

"Good find, Andrew," Goombella told him. "You're becoming an expert in finding badges, aren'tcha?"

"I guess I have," Andrew said sheepishly as he put the badge in his badge kit. "And this badge kit you've given to me has been a lot of help."

"Ummm... Badge kit?" Koops was a tad curious about this.

"Yeah, Koops. Goombella gave me this right before we headed for Petal Meadows," Andrew informed him as he put the badge kit away. "I've been finding a good haul of badges since I've gotten to this area. So far, I've found and collected three badges."

"Wow. Cool," Koops had to admit, that was rather impressive.

"It sure is," Andrew nodded as he pointed forward and continued walking towards Hooktail Castle. "Now let's go. The castle should be just up ahead."

Goombella was already trailing behind him, with Koops managing to keep up with them...

Eventually, the three of them made it back to the stone panels that Andrew and Goombella encountered earlier.

"Well, there it is," Andrew pointed out. "The same stone panels that we passed by earlier when we first got here. Right, Goombella?"

"Yup. Say, Andrew?" Goombella then asked. "You still have the Sun and Moon Stones with you?"

"Yeah," Andrew took out the Sun and Moon Stones. "They're right here."

"Great," Goombella beamed as she took the Moon Stone. "I'll put the Moon Stone in this one over there, and you put the Sun Stone over where you are."

"Got it, Goombella," Andrew nodded before glancing at Koops. "And Koops, just watch what happens when we do this."

Koops only nodded as he saw Goombella place the Moon Stone into the slot of the left stone, while Andrew placed the Sun Stone into the slot of the right stone. Immediately afterwards, the ground around them started shaking as the two smaller stones with the Moon and Sun Stones placed into the respective slots rotated and shifted closer to the bigger stone panel, revealing two blue switches as a result.

The stones stopped right next to the big stone, with the Sun and Moon Stone facing the same way they were facing before.

It was then a message magically appeared on the pipe-shaped stone.

"Whoa... What...was that?" Koops had to blink at what he just witnessed.

"I think the first part of the puzzle has been solved," Andrew then motioned him toward the inscription on the pipe-shaped stone. "And now I think we need to solve a riddle."

"Wowser! This is 'totally' AWESOME!" Goombella was excited as she rushed over to the inscription. "Oh yeah! It's an inscription alright! And there's a riddle that we need to solve!"

"That's what I thought," Andrew said.

"I gotta say, as an aspiring archaeologist, I am an expert on these things," Goombella said proudly.

"Ummm...what?" Koops was confused yet again. "Goombella's into archaeology?"

"Oh yes, Koops. Like you wouldn't even know," Andrew explained to him. "She is 'absolutely' passionate about archaeology."

"Darn right about that, Andrew," Goombella smirked before reading the inscription. "Would you like me to read the inscription that's on this stone panel?"

"Sure thing. Go ahead," Andrew encouraged her as Koops looked rather curious about what it could be.

"Well, it's written in old English. But here's what it says," Goombella cleared her throat and then read it out loud. "Here beginneth the path to dread Hooktail Castle. Weaklings, retreateth! Ye who seeketh to proceed: a power of two must hitteth both switches simultaneously."

"Okay. So if we were to translate it to modern English, it would be like this," Andrew then decided to translate. "Here begins the path to the dreaded Hooktail Castle. Weaklings, retreat! He who seeks to proceed, the power of two must hit both switches simultaneously."

"Bingo, Andrew!" Goombella told him.

"And that means that if we hit both switches at the same time, we can activate the secret pipe," Andrew deduced. "Which'll lead us to Hooktail Castle."

"That's 'totally' it, Andrew," Goombella cheered. "Y'know? You're good at this. I think you'd make a great archaeologist if you're interested."

"Oh, well, I do what I can," Andrew rubbed the back of his head.

"Ummm... Is there anything else written on that stone panel? Goombella?" Koops decided to ask.

"Why, yes there is, Koops. I can read it to you," Goombella then went and read what appeared to be an addendum. "If ye are a Petalburg Koopa, huzzah! Your HOLD ability 'maketh' this chore a snap! So, you know what this means, right Andrew? Having a Petalburg Koopa with us right now will make solving this puzzle a piece of cake."

"Oh... Right," Andrew said, trailing as he turned towards Koops. "Well Koops, I guess it was a great idea for you to tag along with us after all."

"Aww, shucks... Uh, really?" Koops seemed a little flattered by that compliment Andrew just gave him.

"Yes," Andrew decided to get to work with this. "Alright Koops, you use your hold ability where you hold yourself in place while spinning near one of the switches, and once I hit the other one, you release and slam right into the one you're in front of."

"Right," Koops didn't object as he went in front of the switch to the left, and Andrew walked next to him while Goombella stayed in front of the big stone panel.

Koops then went ahead and launched himself a few feet away from the blue switch he was in front of, as Andrew made sure he was spinning in place.

"All right Koops. Once I give the signal, you can slam right into the switch!" Andrew took out his bat and approached the switch that was on the right.

Koops didn't say anything as he remained in place. Once Andrew was in front of his switch, he held his bat over his head.

"NOW!" Andrew yelled immediately after slamming his bat onto the switch.

Koops instantly rammed right towards the switch, as this pretty much activated them. Both switches disappeared as it would appear that they solved the puzzle. The pipe-shaped stone ended up crumbling to pieces, much to Goombella's amazement.

Moments later, a green pipe popped up in its place, with another green pipe appearing right near the entrance to Hooktail Castle. Andrew was pretty proud of how they managed to achieve this as Goombella and Koops went over to his side.

"Well, that worked like a charm," Andrew proclaimed.

"Wow... Gosh, um, wow," Koops remarked. "Didn't think we could've pulled that one off. ...Yet, we did it."

"You bet we did! And d'you know why?" Goombella gleamed. "Cause we are an awesome team!"

"Uh-huh. I guess we are," Andrew said slowly as he jumped on top of the pipe. "Now, let's make our way to Hooktail Castle."

"All right, Andrew! I'm right behind you," Goombella said, joining Andrew in standing on top of the pipe.

"Ummm...Okay. I'm also ready for this," Koops said as he joined them in standing on the pipe.

In a matter of seconds, all three of them went through the pipe and managed to come out of the pipe that was in the distance, which was also in front of the entrance to Hooktail Castle.

With their sights set on getting through the castle that stood before them, the three of them walked over to the entrance, as they made their way towards their first official challenge. As well as to the location of the first Crystal Star; the Diamond Star...

END OF CHAPTER 7...

Well, that's it for this chapter. If you guys think this is exciting now, just wait for the later chapters. The more partners that join Andrew, the more interesting the interactions will be amongst each other, as each of them will have comments for specific situations. It should be something to look forward to. With that said, I hope you've enjoyed this chapter too.

Now, as you may have noticed, part of Andrew's backstory involves the death of his mother, in that memory is what convinces Andrew to allow Koops to come along with him and Goombella. How his mother ended up dying will be revealed later on in the story. And the other problem that he had in his former home will be revealed in a bit that'll also play a role in Andrew's backstory. I hope you look forward to that too.

Anyway, next time, Andrew, Goombella, and Koops explore Hooktail Castle. In that chapter, Koops finds a letter in what he thinks is Dad's skeletal remains which reveals something about Hooktail, the three of them deal with a Red Bones, start collecting Shine Sprites, Andrew gets cursed again, they meet a mysterious woman for the first time, Andrew and Goombella clue Koops in for the first time about the Crystal Star, and a few other things will take place. How will this trek go for the three of them? Find out next time, readers!

In the meantime, only if you feel up to it, you can leave a review for this chapter, and let me know what you think. That's all that I can say about that.

Aside from that, there's nothing else to say here. So until next time, I do hope you look forward to the climax of the first chapter. And on that note, thanks for reading again, everyone!
