Hey there, folks! So, it's been a while, but I finally managed to drop an update on this story. I can't promise a weekly update, though, 'cause it seems like my other fic is the one y'all are really thirstin' for. But no worries, I'm not givin' up on Descendants' Harry Hook 'cause he's my jam.

BTW, I change the face claim of Amara. You might need to check it out the main cast part or in the Outlander Villain cast. Anyways, dive in and enjoy!

Disclaimer: I gotta make it clear, my OCs are mine, and the Descendants crew belongs to their original creators. I'm messin' with the plotlines a bit, 'cause I got some wild ideas of my own. So don't expect it to be a copy of the OG. And hey, shoutout to AI ChatGPT for helpin' me out with the grammar 'cause I ain't got nobody else to proofread this mess. Now on to the story. Enjoy!

Amara's POV

'Oh my gosh! He's, like, insanely hot! Dreams totally come true!' I couldn't help but fangirl internally as I headed back to my dad's turf. I was thrilled that I managed to keep my cool, just like the old Amara would have, because going all starstruck would've been a major turn-off, at least in my book.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I actually got to see the guy I've been crushing on ever since I first watched "Descendants." Harry Hook, he's this sneaky, wild, unpredictable (okay, maybe a little crazy), rude, and all-around wicked pirate. But here's the kicker – there's a heart in there, even if it's been twisted by his upbringing. You can't ignore the good in him, like his unwavering loyalty to Uma, just like in the movies.

He's all about the crew, cherishing their bond, but he's also got a taste for power, which is why he follows Uma, the daughter of Ursula, the sea witch. I mean, Ursula still commands a certain level of fear, but not on the scale of Maleficent, who pretty much terrifies everyone, especially those in her own territory. Though to be fair, each turf has their own version of a bogeyman, which, in our case, happens to be my father and his gang.

That's why Mal's VKs might be getting a bit too cocky, thinking they're in charge of the entire Isle. In reality, Maleficent only controls her part of the Isle, not the whole shebang. But since her territory is right by the bridge connecting to Auradon, it's a crucial chunk of the Isle. You could almost call it the capital, but not quite.

No one's really got the right to rule the Isle just yet, but my father's dead set on taking charge. And you know what? I'm all in for it, considering he's my dad. Now that I'm Scar's daughter, I've tossed the whole goody two-shoes act out the window, and it's all about diving headfirst into the dark side. Scar's just doing what he does best – taking over a territory, making it his, and becoming its king.

I've fully embraced the whole evil persona, even though I've only recently become Scar's daughter. And yeah, those memories of the old Amara might keep seeping in, so I've got that daughterly love for Scar, and I'm determined to follow in his footsteps and honor him. Unlike Mal, who I'm pretty sure is going to betray her mother eventually, just like in the movies. I can just sense it.

Anyway, circling back to Harry Hook, he's dead serious about Uma becoming the most powerful, and for a pirate, that's some big talk. I genuinely admire that about him, and the actor nailed the role. I remember the first time I watched that movie, I was like, 'Man, who else could've played Harry Hook as perfectly as Thomas Doherty?' I mean, there might be others out there, but Thomas totally aced it. His whole vibe, that laugh, the way he brought out the wild yet totally lovable side of Harry, and that accent – it was a perfect match, seriously! Yep, that actor was born to be Harry Hook, no doubt.

And you know what? I finally got to see him in person. I couldn't help but think, 'His face, style, and that accent, it's all Harry Hook!' But as I wandered through the lizard's turf, a thought kept bugging me, 'Will his personality match up too?' I mean, so far, all I got was a quick glimpse of his personality down at the docks. He's like a total wildcard. It's impossible to figure out what's going on in his head, and he's pretty darn flirtatious. But hey, that part makes sense, considering how he was all sensual and flirty with the girls in the movie. Hmm... I really hope our paths cross again.

Well, ain't that just my luck? There's Mal and her VK crew, right there near the entrance to my dad's turf, Outlanders. Their mere presence got under my skin, like they were out to deliberately step on my father's turf. I'd hammered it into my gang's heads that we should steer clear of the VKs whenever we could, no direct face-offs. But you know how it goes; fate just loves messing with you, and our paths crossed. The tension between us and the VKs was so thick you could cut it with a sword. And, of course, it had to happen when I was flying solo, without any of my crew to back me up.

Mal, decked out in her trademark purple leather getup and her usual cocky strut, just couldn't resist giving me a hard time. "Seriously, doesn't she have anything better to do than wreck my day?" I grumbled to myself as she strolled up to me, her tone oozing sarcasm and superiority. "Oh, look who we have here, Scar's precious little princess, Amara Thornwood. What's the occasion for your visit to our side of the Isle today?"

Well, considering the whole idea of Mal becoming the future queen of Auradon, which I absolutely can't stand, and my unwavering loyalty to my father, it means I'm all about staying on the dark side. That includes taking on Mal and becoming her rival, and I was more than up for the challenge. I gave Mal an indifferent glance and remarked, "Just taking a leisurely walk, you know? Seeing if there's anything interesting around here."

I noticed Carlos, Jay, and Evie exchange these sly looks with Mal. The tension in the air was so thick you could cut it with a knife. I could tell they were trying to size me up. Well, you know what? I couldn't care less about what they were up to.

Jay decided to chime in with an air of arrogance, saying, "Just keep in mind, we might be hanging around the entrance of your dad's territory on the Isle, but VKs never back down from a fight."

I kept my cool and didn't let them see any intimidation. "You know, I've heard some rumors about your little gang," I stated, emphasizing the word 'rumors,' "but let's be clear, they're just rumors, not concrete facts." A smug smirk crept onto my face, and I could tell it got under their skin, which only fueled my satisfaction. I mean, in my book, they're all a bunch of quick-change artists.

"And Mal," I gave her a quick glare before returning to my laid-back vibe, "you still owe me for that little shove down the stairs. But..." I paused for a moment, "I didn't drop by for a showdown. I'm just here to kick back and enjoy the view."

I could tell Mal was seething on the inside, but she managed to compose herself and flashed a wider grin, probably thinking she looked all evil and cunning, showing off her sharp wit. Though in my book, it's all an act. I mean, she's not that evil; a little love and kindness and she'd turn into a goody-two-shoes, just like in the movies. Ugh, what a phony. "Well, go ahead and enjoy yourself, Thornwood. Just don't forget who's calling the shots on this Isle in the end."

I rolled my eyes and took a step closer to Mal, our faces nearly touching. "Rule this island? Dream on, you giant lizard descendant," I scoffed, a mocking smirk playing on my lips as I sized up Mal. "Don't get too carried away with yourself. We all know who's got a crew that doesn't switch sides every other day."

Carlos and Jay stepped up, appearing ready to have Mal's back, with Evie right there beside her. Some low growls echoed behind them near the entrance to my dad's turf, and I spotted my own gang approaching the scene. Hell yeah! Backup was on its way when you needed it. They made their way over to me, and there was a tense standoff for a moment. It was like a silent showdown, full of challenges and unspoken words, and the tension kept rising. But before things could heat up even more, a commotion from the market drew everyone's attention.

I took the chance to step back, as I was really in a good mood and didn't want to spoil it. "Seems like we've got other stuff to deal with today," I remarked. "Keep an eye out, lizardspawn. Actions have consequences, and that move of yours..." I let my words hang for a moment, then gave a dark chuckle with a hint of malice. "You get what I'm saying. Until next time, VKs."

With one last icy exchange of glances, we went our separate ways. As I made my way back to the Outlander territory, my crew following, I couldn't help but think, 'I've got my own plans to fine-tune, and I'm dead set on coming out on top in this little game, Mal. You might get Auradon one day, but this Isle won't be in your pocket too.' The ongoing rivalry might not have been settled, but it was far from forgotten.

However, my thoughts kept drifting back to my encounter with Harry Hook. The memory of his devilish grin and those piercing blue eyes lingered in my mind, and I couldn't seem to shake him off, even as I was plotting my next moves. I couldn't help but smile at the thought of him. 'He's quite interesting, and good-looking too,' I mused. I chuckled, my good mood returning, and my crew settling back into their usual cheerful antics. 'I hope I get to see him again soon.'

Harry Hook's POV (not gonna make this into 1st pov)

Harry went on with his day like usual, following Uma's orders, but his mind kept drifting back to the encounter with Scar's daughter at the docks earlier. She really piqued his interest, especially with that bold attitude of hers. She had this air of elegance and royalty about her, just standing there on the docks. Everything about her, from her hair, her figure, her face, and those captivating eyes, had him hooked.

He wanted to know her name right away, maybe subtly ask his crew about her, but he didn't want to make it too obvious. Uma was still figuring out who to trust, and he had to make sure Scar's daughter was the right choice. To him, she was a real mystery, that Scar's girl.

The next day, Harry ended up back at the docks, telling himself it was for a patrol, but secretly hoping to catch sight of that black-haired girl. He couldn't help but wonder if he'd run into Amara once more. Inside, he cursed himself for not asking her name the last time they met. The elusive "Ma Reine" still remained a mystery to him.

As the day faded into evening, Amara was nowhere to be seen at the docks, and disappointment gnawed at Harry as he realized he might not get the chance to see her again. To ease his curiosity, he struck up a conversation with some of his fellow pirates, discreetly trying to gather any information they might have about the elusive daughter of Scar.

His efforts proved successful, and he learned that she was indeed Scar's daughter, and her name was Amara Thornwood. It was a beautiful name that suited a woman like her. Rumor had it that she had ambitions to expand her territory, potentially taking over the Lizard's domain. This explained her frequent presence at the docks, and he speculated that she had a thing for the sea.

Harry couldn't deny that he was becoming more and more intrigued by Amara. She was like a puzzle, and he wanted to solve it. He was determined to see her again, to understand what made her tick, and to discover the depths of her audacious spirit.

The following days were filled with a sense of anticipation and excitement as he continued to frequent the docks. He hoped for another encounter with Amara, a chance to pick up their playful banter right where they had left off. Days turned into a week, and Harry's fascination with Amara Thornwood remained undiminished. He had a feeling that this fiery lioness had a lot more to offer than met the eye, and he was determined to uncover all her secrets, one daring interaction at a time.

He'd heard through the grapevine that his Ma Reine had a run-in with Mal's group a week ago, and it was a heated confrontation, even if it was just a short exchange of words. Harry couldn't help but be curious, especially when Gil spilled the beans that Mal had pushed Amara down the stairs. That took their rivalry up a notch, making it more intense than even the one between Uma and Mal. To Harry, that was just plain nasty, and the fact that Mal hadn't apologized only made things worse. It sure does, just goes to show what kind of villain she is, with all that pride and arrogance. As a fellow villain kid, he could get behind the act, but that over-the-top pride, not so much.

Scar was already causing Maleficent some trouble, especially with those escalating wine prices. Fortunately, we pirates preferred ale, so we weren't affected. The Outlanders hadn't been a problem for us thus far, and we hoped it would stay that way. Harry couldn't wait for Uma to forge an alliance with them.

Harry was well aware that between Ursula and Scar, the latter was the most ambitious on the Isle. Scar had grand plans to rule it himself and bring about improvements, much like he had in his own territory.

Harry had visited Scar's domain a couple of times before and had to admit that if Scar did end up ruling the Isle, he wouldn't complain too much, except for the formal suits. He'd heard that the citizens themselves had chosen to emulate Scar's style, turning the suits into a fashionable trend rather than a uniform. An added bonus to that potential alliance was that it would bring him closer to his Ma Reine. He really wanted to see her again and hoped that it would happen soon.

Normal POV

Amara and her gang stood in a different part of Dragon Hall, and she couldn't help but feel a mix of indifference, irritation, and a touch of hatred as she observed the VKs from a distance. They paraded through the chaotic halls of Dragon Hall, their school, with their usual arrogance, acting as if they owned the place.

Their confident, nearly arrogant attitude got on her nerves. Mal, sporting her faux leather, purple hair, and that wicked smirk, appeared to be the pack's leader. She was in cahoots with Evie, Carlos, and Jay, and Amara had a gut feeling it wasn't for any heroic undertaking.

"They really believe they're something special," Amara grumbled to herself as she sat on the windowsill with her crew gathered around her. She had zero patience for the VKs, and Mal, in particular, had managed to get on her nerves.

Jun Gongmen, Lord Shen's son, observed Amara's frustration from where he lounged, getting his nails painted black by his twin sister Mei. He tossed out a casual question, "What's eating at you, Amara?"

She pivoted toward Jun, a mix of frustration and effort to keep her cool evident on her face. "You won't believe the VKs, seriously," Amara vented, her voice carrying a blend of irritation and disbelief. "It's like they waltz in here, acting like they're the undisputed rulers of the joint or something. It's driving me absolutely nuts, Jun. I mean, who do they think they are, right?" She gestured towards the VKs with a dismissive wave.

Jun cocked an eyebrow, Mei pausing her nail-painting operation for a hot second. "Tell me about it," he added, a trace of agreement threading through his tone. Those VKs weren't slipping under his radar, not by a long shot.

Juma Khan, son of Shere Khan, chillin' with a book near Wei Lung, son of Tai Lung, sthrew a nod their way, fully vibing with the sentiment. "They're a constant thorn in our side."

Wei Lung flipping a coin with one hand, the other in his pocket, casually leaning against the wall, chimed in, "We gotta show we're just as good, if not better." He moved closer to Juma, whispering, "I mean, seriously, all those rumors are just hype. They're not as great as they think. Mostly just pulling off pranks and swiping minor stuff. Total snooze-fest."

Chillin' next to his big sis and Juma, Gan Yu, son of Shan Yu, shot a nod, eyes locked onto the VKs. His sis, Qara Yu, pulled her lollipop from her mouth, eyes fixed on the VKs too. "They might have a rep, but that doesn't mean we can't challenge them," she declared.

"Don't stress, Amara," Mei tossed in, wrapping up Jun's nail session and now casually filing her own. She glanced at the crew. "We'll show those VKs that the Outlanders are a force to be reckoned with."

Zuri, Kaa's daughter, just finished soaking up all the attention from her fanboys, threw a sly smirk their way. "How 'bout we crank up the heat, huh?"

Shan Yu's twins, Sarnai and Yargui, lost it, going wild by leaping onto their older bro, shouting, "WOOHOO, CHAOS TIME!"

Wei Lung let out a hearty laugh, extending a hand to help Gan Yu reign in the mini hurricanes. "Easy there, little terrors. We're cooking up chaos, not letting it loose here. Let's scope out a more strategic spot."

Gan Yu rolled his eyes at the twins' wild antics but sported a small smile. "These two are always game for chaos, huh?"

Amara shot a nod of approval, absorbing the lively energy. "Alright, let's go on a hunt for the perfect spot for our little surprise. Keep those peepers on the VKs. We hit 'em when they least expect it."

Jun, flashing a mischievous glint from his freshly painted nails, threw in, "I'm totally game to sprinkle some chaos on their perfectly planned day."

Juma Khan, closing his book with a smirk, chimed in, "Chaos it is, then."

With the gang scattering, gearing up for their master plan, Mei sauntered over to Amara, a cheeky smile on her face as she used her fan like a shield. Zuri and Qara trailed not far behind. "Get ready for some serious fun."

Amara shot Mei a playful grin, casting a glance at the other two girls. "Oh, you bet. Let's give 'em a taste of who really runs the show."

While the VKs swaggered down the halls, thinking they owned the place, Amara watched their confidence with a fire in her belly. No way were these upstarts stealing the spotlight without a showdown. This rivalry was just starting to simmer, and she wasn't about to back down. With her crew in tow, Amara schemed her next move, fully determined to make the VKs regret crossing paths.

As they huddled and plotted, Mei, still hiding behind her fan, leaned in to Amara. "This is gonna be epic, Amara."

Zuri let out a chuckle, playfully hugging Qara's arm to herself. "Epic's an understatement."

Qara chimed in with a sadistic grin, "Let's make sure they remember our names after this." The four exchanged a confident nod, ready to flip the script on the VKs and show them who's really in charge.

~Timeskip~ hours later~

Amara strolled through the lizards' turf again, making her way to the docks for a breather and some quality time staring out at the sea. Her thoughts were all tangled up in scheming and fine-tuning her game plan for the events about to unfold. She was busy mulling over how Mal's crew would eventually switch sides, especially with the doltish prince inviting them over to Boradon. Then there were her own grand plans to snag control of the lizard's territory and, eventually, the whole darn isle.

Thing is, she knew she had to loop in the adults on this. The grown-ups were the ones holding down the turf war, with their kids lending a hand. But Amara wasn't in it for the sidelines – she wanted a major role in this takeover, not just playing second fiddle. Gotta get the adults on board with the program.

As she mulled over the takeover schemes and revenge plots against Mal, Amara found herself constantly drawn back to that unexpected run-in with Harry Hook. Even with all the strategic thinking on her plate, thoughts of the pirate kept sneaking in. It had been days since she last laid eyes on him, but the memory was still crystal clear in her mind. Funny thing was, seeing Harry had been a dream of hers even before setting foot on the Isle, and now, it was like a dream come true that refused to fade away.

The docks were a hive of activity, pirates buzzing around, getting cargo on and off ships, giving the whole place a lively and bustling vibe. With each step toward the scene, Amara's heart raced, fueled by the anticipation of running into the charismatic pirate once again. The unknowns of what might unfold only cranked up the excitement even more.

Initially, he blended in with the sea of pirates milling about, making it hard for her to spot him. Then, in the corner of her eye, a flash of red caught her attention. She turned her head, and there he was – Harry Hook, stationed by the ship's railing, deeply engrossed in a chat with another pirate. His unmistakable red coat and that distinctive hook of his made him stand out like a sore thumb. Her heart did a little dance, skipping a beat at the sight.

With a confident stride, Amara approached the scene, but she didn't want to come off as too eager to meet him. Instead, she stationed herself at the opposite end of the dock. It was a delicate balance – close enough not to be invisible, but far enough to avoid being overly conspicuous. A strategic spot where, if Harry happened to glance her way, he'd catch a glimpse of her.

Well, Amara lucked out. She didn't have to do anything except stand there, and eventually, Harry spotted her. His face lit up with a grin as he swaggered over. Despite trying to keep it cool, Amara's heart was doing a marathon, thanks to that magnetic thing Harry had going on.

The vibe in the afternoon air was buzzing with anticipation as Harry's playful invite hung in the breeze. Leaning against a barrel, Amara, trying her best to play it chill, couldn't help but get drawn into the magnetic field of this pirate dude. His grin and laid-back attitude had her both intrigued and her heart doing a sprint.

"Fancy seein' ye here again," Harry remarked, his grin unwavering as he closed the distance between them. 'Ah, there's Ma Reine. Still as perfect as I remember her,' Harry thought as he looked at Amara intently.

'Ah, he really is so handsome,' Amara thought to herself, shrugging nonchalantly and feigning indifference. She was doing her best not to look in his direction, but she couldn't help glancing at Harry from the corner of her eye. "I suppose I've got a talent for stumbling upon intriguin' spots on this Isle," she said.

Harry, still smiling, suggested with a playful glint in his eyes, attention fully at the girl in front of him, "Or perhaps it's just fate doin' its thing and bringin' us together."

A small smirk played on Amara's lips. "Perhaps, but let's not get too carried away. We're still pretty much strangers, aren't we?"

"Strangers, indeed," Harry chuckled lowly, a charming grin on his face. In his mind, he thought, 'Not for long, Ma Reine.' Then he smoothly continued the conversation, "So, beautiful, have ye come to tempt me with yer company once more?"

"Well, I don't know. Should I? I gotta admit, your company wasn't the worst part of my day," Amara said, crossing her arms and keeping her cool. 'I'd spend my time with you anytime, any day if I could,' she thought. When it comes to Harry, she was so lovesick, but who could blame her? She'd been crushing on him for so long.

'This is my chance,' Harry's grin widened, clearly pleased with her response. "Well, then, I consider that an invitation," he said, stepping a bit closer. "How about we make this encounter a bit more memorable?"

'This is already a memorable moment for me. What could top this?' Amara thought as she let out a small giggle, playing along. "Memorable, huh? I'm curious to see what you have in mind."

'Don't chicken out on me now, Ma Reine,' Harry tilted his head challengingly, excitement shining in his eyes. "What do ye say we spice things up with a wee bit of adventure? This Isle's got more surprises than ye might think."

"An adventure with you? Well, that does sound tempting," Amara said, raising an eyebrow. Inside, she was genuinely intrigued and secretly thrilled. 'Aaaaahhh, I was mistaken! Spending more time with him? That beats everything.'

'YES! She's in,' Harry winked at her, gesturing in a gentlemanly way towards the darkened sea. He led the girl along the docks. "Then follow me, beautiful. Let's see where the night takes us."

Sauntering toward the dock's edge, Amara and Harry's banter intensified, occasionally laced with subtle flirtation. The magnetic atmosphere turned the afternoon into a promise of mystery and excitement. Enthralled by Harry's tales of buried treasures and mythical creatures lurking in the island's shadows, Amara lost track of time.

Their casual conversation evolved into a dance of wit and charm, each word a step transcending the boundaries of their worlds. Amara's laughter echoed in the night air, blending with the lapping waves as hours slipped away. The sun dipped below the horizon, casting warm hues over the docks, creating a breathtaking backdrop for the unfolding connection between Amara and the pirate.

As they strolled, the distant sounds of the bustling market faded, leaving only the rhythmic symphony of waves. The magnetic pull between them became a bond forged in shared stories and laughter, seemingly oblivious to time passing or the dwindling crowd along the docks. The once desolate Isle of the Lost now shimmered with the allure of the unknown. Beyond VK rivalries, life on the Isle promised adventure, camaraderie, and the thrill of the unknown. What started as a place of rivalry and tension now felt like the thrilling backdrop for an unwritten chapter in the book of their unexpected connection.

Hey folks! Quick heads up, the next chapter of 'When Life Mirrors Fiction - Reborn to TVD' is taking a bit longer. I've been stuck in a writing slump, you know how it goes.
