Harry's friends
Harry looked at the woman with narrowed eyes and asked her, "What the hell do you mean, Circe?"
The painting of the legendary witch huffed, which wasn't actually out of character for her since Harry had come to expect this arrogant response from her every time he asked this.
Yes, Harry had been asking this question every day since after the first time he came up here, she refused to even talk to him after the thing happened. So, he decided to check this place out that day. It turned out this place was just the portrait and nothing else, Circe probably carved it to judge a worthy heiress fit for her 'legacy'. So, he just came up here 'cause it gave him good exercise every morning to see if the old witch would talk to him.
Till now, she has refused but he is sure to convince her someday, he has years left in Hogwarts.
Harry sighed and left this place again, going down the same way he came up to the place. He thought about his previous years in Hogwarts and thought about the things he could handle right now, the name of Voldemort still hasn't been shown but it will pretty soon, maybe.
The Philosopher's Stone is currently safe with Nicholas Flamel and Harry never wants to see the Mirror of Erised again, if that's possible, since it would show him . . . Ron and Hermione.
Harry closed his eyes as he remembered their faces, how did he forget them? He decided to ignore that thought as he thought about the Chamber of Secrets that happened in his second year at Hogwarts, can he even open it anymore now that he isn't a Horcrux?
Harry looked around to check there was no person, ghost or even a painting in sight before casting, "Serpensortia!" and out came a young Adder, at least it looked young from its bright orange appearance as well as the markings it had.
The Adder looked at him and hissed aggressively, Harry couldn't understand it. The young snake didn't take his appearance well, of course, and jumped to bite him. Harry caught it in the air with a well-placed "Leviosa" on it, making it float.
Harry casted the Snake-Vanishing Spell on the Adder before sitting on the ground, wiping away the sweat on his forehead. Looks like he had to find another way to visit Slytherin's Famed Chamber so might as well research it before going in without thinking.
Harry thought about his third year, Pettigrew. What should he do with Peter? He looks like a shy young lad at the moment but when will he become a Death Eater? Was it true he didn't want to betray and did so out of fear or did he actually go to Voldemort to join him?
Well, he could only wait and look out for him, nothing to do about that.
Also, now that Harry thought about it, his Fourth and Fifth years were really dumb. Why did he not train as hard as he could have when he knew his life was in danger the entire time? Why did he spend so much time thinking of Cho in his Fifth Year after the date that he blew up?
In his Sixth Year, he could've just stopped Malfoy instantly with a Stupefy, but well, that wouldn't really do much since Dumbledore just ignored his warnings pretty much the entire year. After his Sixth Year, why did he go to the Dursleys? They could've gone to the Burrow from the get-go and gotten training from the Aurors that were there.
It was really dumb but nobody thought of it at the moment, no need to beat himself to the ground now. Also, thinking about his run from Voldemort in the year that was supposed to be his last in Hogwarts, Harry should have made sure that he, Ron and Hermione were actually prepared to live out in hiding when sorting out the Horcruxes, that year was crazy all around.
Hermione really saved him during the run after Ron went out after the Locket Horcrux messed his brain up, or else he would've been depressed to death.
Thinking of Horcruxes, he knows where they are. Currently, Voldemort's Horcruxes are the ring, the locket, the cup, the diadem and the diary. Nagini is not cursed into becoming a Horcrux yet if Dumbledore was right about Nagini becoming a Horcrux after Voldemort got revived after the Third Task.
Harry can get the diadem right now, easily, but he doesn't know how to destroy it, since he doesn't have a Basilisk's tooth right now, and he is not sure if he can even use Fiendfyre.
Harry sighed, why was he even trying? It's not like the Prophecy between the both of them has happened yet. There's also the fact that Voldemort still isn't a thing anywhere, Harry has searched within the Daily Prophet since the day he was born here and nothing, no mention of muggles being killed by magic or anything.
Did Harry's birth in the past cause a butterfly effect that changed Tom Riddle's life? Does Tom Riddle even exist in this timeline?

It was the next morning and Harry was once again aware of his lack of friends when he saw James hanging with his friends, though he was used to it by now. Harry was just mentally older than these children in every way after the life he has had.
A little owl landed in front of Harry and he sighed. He took the note from the owl and opened it. Harry muttered to himself, "Shit."
The note said: 'Potter, I think I have an idea for our mutual problem, meet me after Potions'.
Harry had no intention of meeting that boy after the last time they had met but he also had no intention of letting Hogwarts be attacked by werewolves again. That sounded a little confusing now that Harry thought that out.
See, Harry and David Yaxley had hit it off at the Black gala years ago, despite Harry getting increasingly exasperated with the blonde boy. They had continued to be pen pals (Why do wizards use this term when they don't know what pens are?) before going to Hogwarts and had been sorted into Gryffindor and Slytherin.
It worked great for both of them since they saved each other's back when one of them aggravated the other's housemates, knowingly and unknowingly, and they hung out together from time to time since they were way smarter than anyone else they knew.
So, that sent a routine but what did it have to do with werewolves?
Well, one Halloween Filch had left the greenhouse open and the Devil's Snare being the trouble it was had spread through into the castle itself. Coincidentally, Harry and Yaxley had stumbled onto it when they were roaming after curfew and got into a tiny brawl with it.
There was this other time when they faced off Peeves in front of Filch's office after curfew when the poltergeist had decided that they were breaking more rules than him. Peeves got a wad of gum in his nose and Harry got a bruise on his shoulder in the end, but the poltergeist agreed to not fight them again.
The last time Harry and Yaxley were hanging out was after the final exams of their First Year when David wanted to find out more about the Hippogriffs that Hagrid kept for Professor Kettleburn's lessons for the Fourth Year students. So, they set off on the night of the full moon and met some rude werewolves.
Of course, the werewolves didn't speak but they did try to kill a couple of children, however reckless their adventure was. Luckily, Harry had the sense to be paranoid in the Forbidden Forest and knocked out the two werewolves. Yaxley had looked at the two in fear while Harry collected one's fallen tooth (When Yaxley had asked why, Harry had said, "It's a good memorabilia and maybe I can research what makes the werewolf curse last.") before the two of them ran away.
So, in the summer, like a 'logical' person, Yaxley had decided to study up on werewolves to be able to beat them up and with a father like Head Auror Corban Yaxley, who was a Death Eater in Harry's first life, it was very easy for David to get material for going against werewolves.
Now, Harry wasn't one to send out a child alone to fight werewolves but he didn't want to fight werewolves again just for the said child to try out his new spells. Though, since he knew David Yaxley, he knew that said child would let the transformed werewolves into Hogwarts just so he could have the home turf, therefore Harry has to help Yaxley.
So, that night, after his last class, Potions with the Ravenclaws, he made sure James and his pals went to sleep and then walked to the greenhouses, cursing his luck.
It was their first visit this year and Harry could see that Yaxley was taking after his father in looks and was also growing his hair out to look more like him. In David's (and his older brother, Corban Junior's) eyes, his father was the epitome of a wizard, better than even Dumbledore and Grindelwald combined, and was the first coming of a wizard greater than Merlin.
Yaxley nodded to Harry in greeting and asked with a grin, "How did the summer go, Potter? Learnt any new spell from your folks, 'cause I sure did. Father taught me and brother loads, you see."
Harry rolled his eyes and demanded, "Are you really going after werewolves, Yaxley? You were shivering in fear the last time you saw one."
Yaxley's grin widened and he said, "Of course, I want to test my new spell soon. The Homorphous Charm is said to turn werewolves back into humans for more than eight hours! That's so good."
Harry commented, "You should also know then that the werewolf's resistance to the Charm doubles with each hit and also takes longer to take effect each time. There is also the fact that the older a werewolf is, the higher his resistance to magic is."
Yaxley frowned for a moment and said to Harry confidently, "We can do it, don't be a party pooper, Harry."
"I am not a party pooper, I am just your voice of reason and the only wizard with common sense here, apparently," Harry says as if talking to a child, which he was in this case.
"Yeah, well you know what?" Yaxley says, smirking suddenly, "Before you came here, I went into the Forbidden Forest alone and saw a werewolf. I told him to come to Hogwarts and I will open the door for them."
"What?!"
"Yeah, I know, I can trap those beasts so easily."
"I really hate you."
"No, you don't, because I am so smart!"
