Minato was currently filing away paperwork in his office while trying to keep his son entertained, ever since him and Naruto visited Kushina's grave Minato newfound vigor pushed him to try to be better Kage and a better father although some would say his new workaholic tendencies may be wearing him down but he denies it.

"Okay I got the paperwork approved for the chunin exams, now I just gotta sign off on those foreign genin forms so those kids can take their chunin exams here, and then prepare for the upcoming Kage summit.

Minato mumbled to himself as he took a sip from his now 12th cup of coffee.

"Waaaaah!"

Naruto ran up to his father crying.

"My little Naru-sun what's wrong."

Minato bent down to his son.

Naruto raised up his arms to Minato.

"Aww of course I'll pick you up."

Minato picked up Naruto and started carrying him around while doing his work.

Even if Minato looked like hell twice over, the dark circles under his eyes are ever very present and his hair was a bit dishelved but he was fufilled to be handling his work and still spending time with his son.

{Knock Knock}

"Come in."

Minato said as he was still comforting Naruto.

The door opened to reveal Fugaku.

"Gakky what brings you here today."

Minato asked the head Uchiha.

" Sasuke told me on his last mission that when his team had last reported to you he told me and I quote, you looks like a zombie that's been through a few wash cycles. "

Fugaku explained.

"How imaginative of him but I feel great. "

Minato smiled with bloodshot eyes

" When's the last time you have slept Minato? "

Fugaku asked.

"If today is tuesday let's see I last went to sleep on the first of this month."

Minato answered.

Fugaku eyes went wide.

" The 1st of this month! Minato it's the 12th now, you haven't slept for 11 days?!"

Fugaku said with great concern.

" Huh I guess so oh well I feel fine so you and you weird looking friend next to you don't need to worry about me."

Minato assured a now confused looking Fugaku.

" My friend? Minato I'm the only one here."

Fugaku answered.

"There's not a wavy looking guy next to you don't be rude to your friend. "

Minato said.

"And you're hallucinating now, okay you need sleep."

Fugaku said as gently took Naruto from Minato's hands.

"I'm fine all I gotta do is put my put my head down for a bit and...zzzzzz."

Loud snores came from Minato.

" Yeah he may be out for awhile we should leave a note for your father shouldn't we Naruto."

Fugaku smiled as he said to the toddler.

" Dada seepy."

Naruto pointed to his conked out father.

"Indeed he is, he is very sleepy. "

Fugaku said as he pulled out a sheet of paper and started writing a note on where he'll be with Naruto and the man left the Hokage office.

Fugaku walked into his home as he was removing both his and Naruto's shoes.

"Welcome home honey, oh it's Naruto where's Minato? "

Mikoto asked as Fugaku handed the toddler to her.

"Minato is taking a much needed nap, he'll probably be out for a few hours so I decided to bring Naruto here so Minato can rest."

Fugaku explained.

" Sasuke did mention Minato may have been overworking himself so some time for him to rest is good."

Mikoto said as lightly tickled Naruto earning a giggle from the boy.

"Well Sasuke won't be back until later so we can keep an eye on Naruto until then, surely there's enough of Sasuke's old things to keep a one year old entertained. "

Fugaku said as he left the room.

" While he grabs some stuff for you to play with why don't we get you something to eat, it's lunch time anyways. "

Mikoto carried Naruto off to the kitchen .

After a few had passed Fugaku had walked into the kitchen with a dust covered object.

"I found Sasuke's old high chair, I figured it'll be good for Naruto to.."

Fugaku went silent as he saw his wife cooking lunch while holding onto Naruto on her hips, this was a familiar site to him, it reminded him of when their children were very young Mikoto would seem like she's glowing.

Fugaku couldn't help but to smile as he reminisce about the early years of their marriage when Itachi was first born.

"It's Sasuke's highchair, it's been so long since I last saw it... although it can stand to be wiped down a little.

" Right."

Fugaku grabbed a damp rag to start wiping off the dust from the old highchair.

Soon after Fugaku finished cleaning off the chair, Naruto was sat in it and a plate of fish and rice was placed in front of Naruto.

Naruto looked at the plate confused, this was different from what he normally eats.

"Try it Naruto you might like it."

Mikoto got a spoon full of food and fed it to the toddler.

It was different but Naruto seemed to like the new food.

"Good job sweetie."

Mikoto said as she continued to feed Naruto.

"This brings me back to when the boys were babies specifically Sasuke."

Fugaku commented with a slight smile.

"It takes me back, we haven't had to care for a baby in a long time... I kind of miss it."

Mikoto said as she continued feeding Naruto until the toddler deemed himself full when he shook his head at another spoonful.

"All done Naruto? "

Mikoto asked the toddler who nodded in agreement .

" No moe."

Naruto said.

"Well alright since you're full now is there anything you want do Naruto?"

Mikoto asked the toddler.

Naruto started thinking, he never been asked what he wanted to do himself.

" Wan pway."

The toddler said.

"Alright sounds like a plan your uncle brought a bunch of Sasuke's old toys for you to play with."

Mikoto said as she carried Naruto out of the kitchen and brought the toddler to the living room which was now full of different toys and action figures.

Naruto looked at all the toys in amazement. He never seen this many toys in one space before and they all look much more interesting then his toys at home.

"Ah ah!"

Naruto reached his arms out to the various toys.

"He seems excited to try these."

Fugaku said as he finished wiping down the toys.

Mikoto placed Naruto down and the toddler was quick to start playing with the various toys, all these toys were intricate and have actions and functions he'd never imagine compared to his usual toys.

"Some of these toys may be above his age range but he's having fun."

Mikoto commented as she watched Naruto play.

Fugaku sat down with his wife and also started watching Naruto play.

Naruto happily played with the toys but something was missing he needed someone to play with, the toddler then went over to Fugaku and Mikoto and tapped their legs.

"Yes, what is it?"

Fugaku asked.

Naruto grabbed Mikoto and Fugaku's fingers and started trying to lead them to where the toys were at.

"I think he wants us to play with him."

Mikoto said to her husband.

" Well I suppose we could, we can't disappoint him."

Fugaku said as both him and Mikoto sat on the floor with Naruto.

Naruto handed toys to the married couple and started he started playing with the two Uchiha.

Mikoto and Fugaku had no cue what kind of play Naruto wanted them to engage in but the toddler was having fun nonetheless.

"His idea of play doesn't seem very structured."

Fugaku commennted.

"Can't expect a baby to all that pragmatic, besides there's certain fun to be had in simplicity. "

Mikoto explained to her husband.

Naruto all off a sudden stood up and started walking off and started to look for something.

" What's wrong Naruto? You're looking for something."

Mikoto asked the toddler.

" Dwaw. "

Naruto pointed to some papers laying nearby.

"Oh you want to draw something, we don't really keep art supplies around."

Mikoto said as she trying to think of something to bring out for Naruto.

"Didn't we get Itachi some paint some time ago when he tried to do art. "

Fugaku asked.

" Oh right he used to paint a lot, although we'll have to check if the paint is still good. "

Mikoto explained.

" I'll check the storage, also I'll bring out some more stuff, Naruto might like it. "

" Good idea, he'll have a usefor all of the boy's old stuff. "

Mikoto said as she followed her husband with Naruto in her arms.

Sometime later the sound of the front door was heard being opened.

"Mom, Dad I'm back."

Sasuke said as he walked into the living room but he stopped in his tracks as he saw that the living room was filled with all his old baby stuff.

"Uhh?"

"Welcome home Sasuke, we were just setting up your old stuff."

Mikoto explained to Sasuke.

"SASA!"

Naruto rushed over to Sasuke.

"Hey Naruto...this for Naruto right?"

Sasuke asked as he picked up the toddler.

"I don't know, how would you feel about a new sibling?"

Mikoto asked.

"What?! No ain't two enough!?"

Sasuke said exasperated at the notion of having another baby around.

"But don't you want to be a big brother, I mean you're so good with Naruto."

Mikoto said to boy.

" That's different Mom, he's like my little buddy/ soon to be student? "

Sasuke said to his parents.

" Student?"

Fugaku repeated

"Yeah me and Hinata are gonna teach him our best moves."

Sasuke boasted.

"Your best moves huh, you barely just learned the fireball jutsu last week and even then you still mess it up sometimes. "

Fugaku explained to his son.

" Obviously I'll be a better ninja then Dad. "

Sasuke huffed.
