Episode 4: The Naked Time

USS Enterprise: Councilor's office

"Won't you come in Captain," said Councilor Casandra Leek. "Please be seated. Do you mind if I cast bones before we begin?"

"That's right. You were an Oracle on Libran weren't you," mused Starbuck.

"That's true," agreed Councilor Leek. "But thanks to those learning machines I because a fully qualified psychologist and Star Fleet officer. But's we're not here to talk about me. Now let's see what the bones say:"

With that, she rolled the bone dice into a large flat bowl. Each face of a die was marked with an esoteric symbol. After staring at them for a moment, she looked up at her Captain.

"Your meeting with a Lord of Kobol disturbed you," observed Councilor Leek.

"I'll say! Stonn thought I should have been more skeptical about his claims," said Starbuck. "But when you meet your own god, you 'just know' who they are."

"Why don't you start from the beginning?" Asked Councilor Leek.

"It started as we were approaching the planet Psi 2000," began Starbuck. "Or at least that is our name for it.

3 days earlier - USS Enterprise - Bridge

"Captain, I am detecting and energy field ahead," reported Science Officer Stonn.

"On screen," ordered Captain Kara "Starbuck" Thrace.

As they observed, the shimmering field of energy coalesced into a human appearing face. Its' gender was not obviously apparent.

(Children of Kobol, seeking me out at last) they all heard telepathically.

"Who are you?" Asked Starbuck.

(I am the dreamer, dreaming dreams of joy . . . I am the child of fire. . . I am the Lord of the Vines . . . I am Dionysos!)

"That's quite a claim," laughed Starbuck. "Do you have any proof that you are a Lord of Kobol?"

(Come down to the planet and all will be revealed) thought Dionysos.

Captain's log: Stardate 58245.4 - We are approaching the planet we have designated Psi 2000. There are indications that the planet may be inhabited. I am therefore sending myself, my new 1st Officer: Commander Stonn, Doctor Leptus, security officer Lt Tormolon and Yeoman Six to investigate.

Planet Psi 2000

The landing party appeared in an open square. The local inhabitants looked mostly human, with skulls that are shaped just differently enough that they could never be mistaken for a human. They wore no clothing, but their hair hung down to their knees. Depending on how they moved, their hair would sometime cover and sometimes reveal parts of their bodies.

"Welcome to Maenus," said a female native. "Lord Dionysos awaits you."

"Doc I'm suddenly feeling a little light headed," complained Starbuck.

Doctor Leptus pulled out his tricorder and scanned first her, then the air.

"It's the air," reported Dr. Leptus. "It appears to have trace amounts of a hallucinogen of some sort. Based on my readings, I would guess that the effect on us would be to lower our inhibitions and cause some mild hallucinations. We should be all right as long as we remember that we're on drugs and can't do things that are impossible when we're sober like: fly or walk on water."

"Can you give us an antidote?" Asked Starbuck.

"I could synthsize one, given enough time. But not right now," replied Dr Leptus. "But the effects are mild enough, I don't think it will do us any long term harm."

"Then we'll proceed," ordered Starbuck, before turning to the Maenad. "You said Dionysos is waiting for us?"

"This way," said the Maenad, as she led them towards a building that looked very similar to one of the Temples on Kobol. She led them to the top of the stairs but at the door she paused and pushed her hair behind her shoulders, revealing her body fully to them. "You must remove your outer wrappings before entering the presence of Lord Dionysos."

"I won't order any of you to strip for this. So from this point on, it will be volunteers only," announced Starbuck.

"We're with you," replied Yeoman Six, who had already kicked off her boots and pulled her mini-dress off over her head. Being a model Six Cylon, she didn't feel the need for an emergency space suit and so she wore nothing under her dress.

"Good," replied Starbuck. "Not you. I want you, Lieutenant Tormolon to stay our here and guard our things."

"Aye Captain," answered Lt Tormolon.

Once they had disrobed the landing party stepped into the temple. As they stepped across the threshold the effects of the drugs in the air intensified. The marble floor felt slightly chill against their feet as they padded forward. It was a large room with 30 foot high ceilings. In the center of the room were a large number of flat pillows on which the local natives were engaged in an orgy. An extremely attractive human-appearing man arose from the center of the pile of people and floated into the air.

"Lord Dionysos, the strangers you foretold," said their Maenad guide.

"I'm Captain Kara Thrace of the Starship Enterprise, this is my 1st Officer Mister Stonn, Doctor Leptus and Yeoman Six. And you are?"

"Dionysos," proclaimed the Lord of Kobol, as he floated towards them.

Overwhelmed, Starbuck fell to her knees.

USS Enterprise: Councilor's office

"Why did you feel the need to kneel before him?" Asked Councilor Leek.

"I suppose I should have been more skeptical of his claim to being a Lord of Kobol," admitted Starbuck. "And perhaps it was the drugs influencing me. But when you meet your own god, you just know it's true. I could tell from his very presence that he was a Lord of Kobol."

"Then what happened?" Asked Councilor Leek.

"He took me by the hand and said:

"you don't need to kneel before me O bucker of the stars. Come! Join us!"

Then, he pulled me into a kiss and the drug effect increased to the extent that I was overwhelmed by it, we all were," said Starbuck.

"And so you joined them?" Asked Councilor Leek.

"Did I ever! I fraked anyone who wanted me!" Admitted Starbuck. "Over and over I did it with them. I especially liked it when Dionysos went down on me. I've never felt such pleasure. I don't know how long it went on but eventually my muscles of pleasure started wearing out. Lord Dionysos seemed to know when we had reached our limits because he pulled us out of the pile and addressed us."

"Thank you children of Kobol and others for sharing yourselves with us," said Dionysos. "I have others to attend right now," he said, indicating the pile of copulating Maenads. "And your people have reached your maturity. But if you even have need of us, you know where to find me."

"Were there any long term consequences for you and your shipmates?" Asked Councilor Leek.

"Fortunately, I was on birth control, so I didn't have to worry about that, because I have lots of opportunities to put a bun in the oven," admitted Starbuck. "I've talked to Leptus. He says the drug effect caused him and Stonn to prematurely go into pon-far, their mating time. But now that they've worn off, he's back to normal and we've agreed to not let it affect our friendship. Stonn wants to pretend it never happened. But we're still friends."

"And Yeoman Six?" Asked Councilor Leek.

"I haven't talked to her yet," admitted Starbuck. "I thinks she's avoiding me."

"Perhaps I would be better to speak with her first," said Councilor Leek. "I'll make her an appointment to see me and send it to her."

"Thanks! I appreciate it," said Starbuck.

"You seem to adjusted well considering what you've been through," said Councilor Leek. "But I would like to you continue to see me on a weekly basis. Let's end our session here."

USS Enterprise: Captain's Quarters

After her session with Councilor Leek, Starbuck decided to go back her her quarters to rest. But when she opened the door she found her bed already occupied.

"Six?" Asked Starbuck.

"I let my self in," replied Yeoman Janice Six, as she sat up. "I hope you don't mind?"

"No. I'm just surprised is all," replied Starbuck. "What brings you to my quarters Yeoman Six?"

"You don't have to use rank with me Captain . . . not after what we've shared," said Six, as she strolled forward and put her arms around Starbuck's neck.

"That was the drugs that made me do that with you," explained Starbuck. "They lowered our inhibitions, made us feel free to do things we wanted to, but would normally restrain our selves from doing. You don't need to be afraid. I would normally never make sexual advances at a subordinate."

"I'm not afraid that you'll do that," replied Six. "I'm afraid that you won't. It lowered our inhibitions . . . that means all those things you did to me, you really wanted to . . . I know I wanted to do all those things to you and would again if you'd let me."

"Yeoman-" cautioned Starbuck.

"Call me Janice," interrupted Six.

"Fine. When we're alone, you can call me Kara," said Starbuck. "But you should know that I'm not interested in an ongoing exclusive relationship."

"I don't want a relationship after what I've learned," replied Six. "I just want you for right now. Make Love to me again!"

"What did you learn that has you so upset?" Asked Starbuck.

"Doctor Leptus examined us after we got back and told me . . . . told me. . . . I'm pregnant!" Said Six.

"Congratulations!" Gushed Starbuck. "Who's the father?"

"I didn't know when he first told me," replied Six. "There were so many . . . Stonn . . . Leptus . . . various Maenads . . . So I had Doctor Leptus test me . . . .It's Lord Dionysos . . ."

"Wow! That's amazing!" Gushed Starbuck.

"No! No! Don't you see?" Protested Six. "I'm a Cylon . . . a Monotheistic Cylon . . . I don't believe in the Lords of Kobol! . . . and now. . . . I've been impregnated by a Lord of Kobol that I don't even believe in!"

"Wow! Sounds like you need to spend some time with Councilor Leek," suggested Starbuck, as she wiped tears from Six's face.

"I will," agreed Six "But for now . . . will you Make Love to me again?"

"Sure," said Starbuck as she leaned in to kiss Six.
