The second of May would always be synchronous with a momentous occasion for Harry. In his previous life that was the day war had broken out, and in his new life because that was the day his younger siblings had been born. Yes, siblings, plural. It was interesting that the reason why he had two siblings instead of one is because technically he wasn't alive, and nature was trying to keep the scales of the past and the future balanced. Lily and James Potter had two kids in the past, and wasn't that such a depressing thought, that he had a sibling he had never even gotten to meet in his past. Considering he was the Master of Death, he was neither living nor dead, merely a stationary point in the passing river of time. To counter this, he now had two siblings.

Leo Franklin Potter and Ivy Alice Potter.

And oh how Harry loved them. He had an actual family, he had parents, uncles and aunts and now even siblings. His baby brother and sister. He felt he could burst from the happiness of the moment he had entered that delivery room in Sirius's arms and seen the two squiggling masses in his parent's arms. Even though he had wanted to stay there with his parents and new siblings, he knew his mother needed time to recover and Sirius and Remus were setting up a new bedroom in Potter Manor so that it would be ready by the time Lily and the twins were ready to be released.

That was a week ago, now he was sitting in his playpen and looking into the adjacent one to his, the one in which his siblings were sleeping. His parents had turned the walls of the play pen transparent after his fifth attempt at using "accidental" magic to leave his playpen and see his siblings. Though he was careful not to enter their playpen. The magical bond of twins was very delicate and needed time to develop properly outside the womb, otherwise it could severely impact their physical, mental and magical health. Though he did wonder if his twins would be similar to the Weasley twins. Over time, he had gotten good at compartmentalising, and recognizing that he wasn't at fault for all that had happened. Plus it helped that he heard from his father about the shenanigans which had ensued when had bought the Weasley twins to work one day, to give Molly respite from them as she was dealing with both Ron and Ginny who were sick, while the elder three had gone to their Aunt Muriel's.

It started with stolen candy, a lot of permanent ink and a bit of accidental or deliberate magic, considering who it was and ended with a certain toad-like employee sunken into a vat of ink and covered in terrible vomit inducingly sweet candies. The reason? She had insulted the Weasley clan within hearing distance of the twins.

Harry had spent the rest of the week in joyful vindictiveness. Truly, he could have summoned a little sympathy for Voldemort yet none for her.

Seriously, Voldemort! The psychotic, maniacal dictator who had killed thousands and was singularly responsible for every single bad thing in his life. He could summon up some dregs of sympathy for him, yet none for the spineless, fake, social climbing, child torturing hag.

While he spent a part of his time musing and crying over his lost past and getting better with his emotions, (it helped that he had people who would rush to his side and comfort him whenever he looked even a little sad, they were healing something that they weren't the ones to break.) The other half was spent with his family, and before he knew it, it was soon his second birthday.

He was two! And he wasn't stuck with the terrible Dursleys. His parents had felt quite guilty that the only thing they had done for his first birthday was a cake with just them and the marauders and so his day started with a bang, not literally as he was still very young and there were two newborns in the house and his parents were quite careful around them, but still a bang. As soon as he opened his eyes he could see various balloon animals running around, and bursts of colourful streamers hanging from the ceiling. As soon as he was awake, three of the balloon animals came bounding to him, a stag, a grim like dog and a werewolf. Soft barks filled the air as he giggled. Merlin this should have been his life from the very first time. He shouldn't have had to suffer and die and go back to have this. Shaking his head dispelling the depressive thoughts he slid from his bed. His parents had switched his crib to bed once they realised he wasn't going to fall off the bed, still beneath his bed was a rug with a cushioning charm and an alert for his parents. Just as he managed to reach the door it opened before a blur of black toppled him to the ground.

"Padfoot!" Harry giggled delightfully. The response to his exclamation was a very wet dog tongue over his face before the grim like dog backed off changing into his godfather who proceeded to pick him up and swing him around dramatically. The balloon animals still running around Harry.

"Happy Birthday Prongslet! You're two! Merlin, why are you growing up so soon?" Sirius, the ever immature adult whined.

Harry laughed as his hands held onto Sirius's shirt. He knew Sirius would never let him fall but still. "I wanna be big! Like you!" He exclaimed. He was so thankful that he could finally speak properly, just a few sentences but still it was nice.

Sirius felt his heart melt looking at the two year old. Merlin he didn't know how but everyday he thought he couldn't love Harry more yet everyday he was proved wrong. Now that he had finally worked through his problems with Arcturus he did have the option to stay at Black Manor, and he had been but he had temporarily moved in with the Potters until they got used to having three toddlers around.

"Of course you will be Prongslet, you're gonna be the strongest and biggest! But first, let's go enjoy you're birthday shall we?" Saying so he swung Harry atop his head, and began moving out of Harry's spacious bedroom (the heir's room of course) and down the spiral stairs. Everywhere they walked, more and more balloon animals joined their parade and entertained Harry while streamers swung merrily above his head.

As Harry entered the dining room above Sirius's shoulders, he saw his parents holding each sibling and Remus holding a huge chocolate cake, all singing Happy Birthday. Well his parents, Remus and Sirius were. His siblings were just laughing and enjoying the animated animals and the whole novelty of it. Sirius deposited him on the high chair at the head of the table and conjured up an elaborate crown complete with flashing lights and tiny dancing stags, dogs and werewolves in tophats. As he looked around at the gathered grinning people, Harry decided this was the best birthday ever. Even better than the ones spent at the Burrow.

Life after that continued as is for the Potters. Sirius moved out at the start of September as they had a better grasp of managing the kids, plus they had found a couple of house elves so it was easier. Everyone went back to their usual schedules. The adults always tried to make it to breakfasts, lunches and dinners otherwise, Lily to her training and research and she was also looking into spell crafting, but right now she did all from home so that she didn't have to leave the kids alone with just the elves, James and Sirius to their estate management and Wizengamot duties and Remus helping with combing through laws and loopholes, and Harry was left to play and grow normally. He knew he had to work to change things, but not now. Not yet. He wanted a while to just enjoy being a kid and more importantly being a big brother.

Time passed in similar fashion, with the Potter siblings rarely seen outside, speculations ran rampant on them, until one fine day when someone had tried to breach the Potter Manor wards in a desperate bid to get a much coveted picture of the Potter twins. James had stunned, hexed and sued him and the paper, and then he and Sirius bought out the Daily Prophet, now they only printed factually correct information. Until the twins' third birthday.

This year it was a mix of stars and beach themed decor, stars and constellations twinkled above, the whole manor had been darkened even though it was the middle of the day, and the living room had been transfigured into a beach, the end result was a beautiful midnight party at the beach, Lily had accordingly dressed the twins in matching outfits. Ivy was a cute lavender flowy gown with sequins on it and Leo had on baby cargo pants with a similar lavender shirt and silver constellations on it, to top it off they too were wearing their patented Sirius-Birthday-hats he had made for their first birthday, Ivy's was a rose-gold crown which had multiple jewelled flowers with butterflies floating around her head while Leo's was a silver crown with twinkling stars which formed the constellation Leo repeatedly. They had given into the orders requests and for the first time had hosted an actual party with all the order members. There were the usual Sirius, Remus, the Longbottoms, Mary and Dorcas. Along with them there were the order members who had survived, Albus, Aberforth, Emmeline, Molly, Arthur, Elphias, Dadalus, Mundungus (though that had been a very hard sell, and he had only been allowed after he had made a very constricting magical vow that he would not sell any pictures of anyone there, or steal anything, or even speak one word about the gathering to any being magical, muggle, creature through any means.), Arabella (and wasn't that a very weird blast from the past fro Harry, logically he knew she was a member of the order but he had never really interacted with her much during or after war so it had been very weird to see her.), Hagrid, Snape (surprisingly Lily was the one who had been most against him coming into her home rather than James, but then again James had sort of mellowed down where as Lily had hardened after everything.), Benjy, Caradoc, Hestia, McGonagall, and Kingsley.

There were also an assortment of kids, though the youngest were definitely the Potter twins. There was Harry himself, Neville, all the Weasley kids, and the adopted kids of Mary and Dorcas, (Sylvie and Elsa McDonald-Meadows, sisters who were the same age as Bill and Percy respectively.), Benjy's grandson who was the oldest at 16 but studied at Ivelmory and Emmeline's nephew who she had adopted once her sister died, who was Charlie's age but was a squib.

All the kids were enjoying the magicked up beach, Harry and Neville the only ones who stood a bit apart from it, Harry because he wanted to hear the adults' conversation and Neville because he didn't really like water. It still amazed Harry to see the shades of the man Neville had grown into showing early in 5 years old. It just showed how much a supportive and loving environment helped kids.

"And you are an old fool Albus!" Sirius's raised voice caught his attention. He turned to see Sirius with a frustrated look on his face and standing off against the headmaster. Noticing that they had caught the attention of the kids, Albus quickly put up a halfway silencing charm, one which didn't allow the kids to hear anything, but allowed the adults to listen to them in case anything happened to them.

Harry narrowed his eyes, wondering if it would be worth it to try to pierce the charm or not. It seemed that now his mum, dad, Remus and Emmeline had joined Sirius's side, Molly, Dedalus, Benjy and Caradoc had joined Albus's. Just as he weighed the pros and cons of it, his dad caught his eye and noticing his intense stare flashed him a reassuring smile before letting off a bang with his wand which made them all wince. A few words from him had all the adults nodding while sending guilty looks towards the twins before Albus took down the charm.

"Well, I think it's time for cake, don't you princess?" James said as he came to pick up Ivy from where she had been waddling in the shallow waves. With a wave and a few murmured words he dried off her dress and got rid of the sand stuck to her. Lily did the same to Leo and Sirius to Harry. All the adults, similarly took charge of the kids and led them away from the beach and towards to the dining room where Remus had gone ahead to make sure everything was perfect.

"How did you…"

"Make the beach?"

"And can you teach us.."

"But only, we want to make a swap…"

"Not a beach…"

Fred and George crowded around Sirius and James, their mischievousness and love for pranks shining through. Harry was sure they were asking because they had something dreadful planned for their siblings or dad, or their mum if they were feeling particularly adventurous.

"Fred! George!" Molly Weasley snapped from behind where she was wrestling both Ron and Ginny to not run away from her. She had overheard what they had asked and was not happy. Twin grins adorning their faces the Weasley twins turned around, walking backwards to face their mother.

"Don't worry mum…"

"We won't use it at home…"

"We were just getting ideas…"

"For our first year at Hogwarts!"

Saying so both turned right sides again and ran amidst devilish laughs. Sirius barked out a laugh at the audacity of the little devils. The Weasley twins may be just kids but he could recognise true pranksters' hearts beneath it all, the prank they had played at that toad was a bit immature but it had potential, so much potential. His attention though was drawn back to his silent godson who had a frown on his face. His face twitched as his heart melted at the absolutely adorable expression on his face. Merlin, he loved him so much, if he ever had a son and that was a big if, he knew he would want him to be like Harry. Harry who was so sweet and kind and so devoted to his siblings, Harry who had his parents and his and Remus's whole hearts in a vice ever since he had looked at them with his emerald green eyes. He slowed letting the others overtake him tugging Harry to a stop. Kneeling so he could look into his eyes, he asked.

"What's wrong Prongslet?" His hands came up to run through Harry's hair, the famous Potter strands never ever laying flat.

Indecisiveness in green eyes, made Sirius, well, serious as his playfulness faded and he looked at Harry. "Hey, you know you can talk to us about anything right?"

"I know Padfoot, but not now, I don't want to ruin the twins' birthday."

"You are a great big brother. You know that?" Sirius said, pressing a kiss to Harry's forehead, before picking him up and making his way towards the dining room.
