Chapter Five

He just finished getting dressed and was about to leave their room to spend a bit of time with his sister, when he noticed that Alex was actually in bed when he came out of the closet rather than dressed, which concerned him, as he thought that she was going to come downstairs with him. That way, they could spend time as a family. "Alex? You okay babe?" Turning her head to look at her husband, Alex agreed as she sat in bed wearing her skinny jeans and a nice blouse (which shows off the girls as she isn't wearing a bra). "Yeah, I just realized the time." Confused as he heard Alex say that, Matt soon noticed that the TV was on; and when he turned his head, he saw what was on the TV. It was her soap opera. "Do you seriously still watch that?" Alex laughed. "Babe, it's Bold and the Beautiful; it's some of my inspirations for designs. Plus, some of the actors are mighty fine on the eyes." Matt just glared at his wife as she said that. "Excuse me!" Turning her head, Alex smiled at the man she loves before holding her hand up. "Remind me who put this ring on my finger?" Matt smiled, as he's very proud to be the man who put that wedding ring on her finger. "That would be me, Ms. Casey."

Alex smiled as Matt told her that, before watching as he made his way over to her in their bed; after which, he sat down next to her and moved his hand to her body. Placing her hand on top of his as he put it on her stomach, Alex smirked as she looked into Matt's gorgeous eyes. The eyes that always mesmerize her, which is why she placed her hands on his face and just smiled as she stared into his eyes. Leaning in, she kissed him and smirked as she took things nice and slow with the man she loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you." Matt agreed with Alex, as he loves her too. "I love you too." Alex smiled, well aware that was the case. "I know you do, and I am so glad that we decided to get married." Matt agreed with his wife, as he felt the same way. "I feel the same way." Alex nodded and just smiled due to the fact that this is precisely what she wants to be doing right now, before they head downstairs; well, she heads downstairs with Matt. Though, she was hoping to delay that since she wanted to take a minute to watch this. "Let me guess, there's a reason you're in bed with your show on?" Going to grab the remote, Alex paused the TV show.

After which, she turned her head once more and concentrate on her husband, who soon intertwined their fingers to ensure that his wife stayed nice and close to him, not that she'd want to be anywhere else. She wants to be close to the man she loves more than anything in the entire world, while they held each other close and concentrated on each other for a moment, which is precisely what they're in the midst of doing. "So, you want to watch your show more than come downstairs?" Alex took a breath. "I guess, I'm just a bit nervous." Matt was confused when he heard his wife say that. "What are you nervous about?" Alex sighed. "When I go downstairs, it's going to be awkward." Still not understanding, Matt looked into Alex's eyes. "And just why might it be awkward?" Alex bit her lip. "When I go downstairs, I'm going to spend time with my sister-in-law, rather than my boss." Matt agreed with Alex. "How is it any different than what we do? We're married now, but I used to be your boss." Alex smiled. "It's different when you've also been my lover for the past little while." Matt laughed as he heard Alex say that, before slipping closer to her and putting his hand on her neck.

After which, he leaned over her and smiled as he kissed her softly, which led to him taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves, the woman he craves and is so proud to call his wife. "Babe, you're married to HER boss. Remember that." Alex smiled, well aware that was the case. "And we both already know that my sister loves you, because she's been trying to set us up for a while." Alex was surprised. "Really?" Matt smirked. "I just didn't tell her that we were already together, as I wanted to keep you as my secret." Alex smirked, well aware that was the case as she placed her hand on his face, while also leaning in and taking things nice and slow with the man she loves. The man of her dreams, Matthew James Casey. "Plus, I know you need to talk business with her." Matt sighed. "I know, me working here for a while; meanwhile, she can stay in Chicago and take care of that office." Alex agreed with her husband as he said that, as that's precisely what they want to do. "We need her on board if we want that to happen, remember?" Matt smiled, nodding as he placed a strand of hair behind her ear. "And you need to tell her your plans for the future." Alex took a breath.

After all, that was something else she was nervous about. "Hey, what's going on Alex?" Alex sighed. "Do you think she'll be on board with that?" Placing his hand next to Alex on their bed, Matt smiled. "Of course, she's going to be on board with you retiring from modelling for the reasons you tell her. You want to stop because you want to have a family with me." Alex smiled, agreeing with the man she loves as that's precisely what she wants to have. She wants to have a family with him, but she's talking about something else. "We both know that I'm really talking about something else babe. The other thing that I need to talk to her about, if I want to do it; I just want to make sure that we're both on the same page when it comes to me talking to her about that." Matt agreed with Alex as she said that, well aware of precisely what she's talking about. She's talking about her wanting to make the transition from a model for the company to a designer for the company. "Honestly, I already know that my sister is going to be on board with it because she knows how much I love you and want to be the doting husband who supports his wife in whatever way he can." Alex agreed with Matt.

After all, that's precisely what he does for her. He always supports her and makes sure that she gets whatever she needs to be happy, including having him as her husband; because that makes her very happy and always will. "Did I ever tell you that I have the best husband in the entire world?" Smirking as Alex asked him that question, Matt nodded as he leaned in and started to take things nice and slow with the woman of his dreams. The woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you Alex, always will." Alex agreed with her husband as he told her that, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I have no doubt in my mind that'll always be the case." Matt smirked, as that'll always be the case; guaranteed. "Listen, I can talk to her first if you want? Just see what she's thinking and let her know that you're thinking of the idea, just like how I need to get her open to the idea of us living here." Alex agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that was the case; while also being able to tell that he's nervous about talking with Christie over how he wants to move here. How they want to move here. "You're nervous about talking to her about that, aren't you?"

Matt sighed, as he's trying not to be nervous; but, he just is for some reason. "I can't explain why I feel this way, as I shouldn't feel nervous about telling my sister the truth. I just feel nervous when I think about talking to Christie about this." Alex agreed with her husband, well aware that was the case. "I know you are, and I hope you know that I'm here for you. Whatever I can do to make sure that you breathe and just take it easy, when you tell me, and we'll do it together." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife, well aware that she's here for him; that she'll always be here for him as they live this life with each other. A life which will be full of love and devotion towards each other. "Matt, it's your sister. You already know that you guys can talk about anything and everything with each other. Just take a breath and take it easy. You'll do fine and you have no reasons to worry." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, well aware that was the case. "I know, and I'm not even sure why I'm worried right now." Alex agreed with Matt, as she had no idea either. "Me neither, so just go do it and make me happy by talking to your sister. I promise, you got this babe." Matt agreed with Alex.

He then went to get up, but not before leaning over her and placing his hand on the side of her face; leaning over her, he soon leaned in and just went to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you, and I am so proud to have the honor to call you my wife." Alex agreed with her dreamy husband as he told her that, well aware that was the case. "And I feel the same way when it comes to me having the honor to call you my husband." Matt agreed with Alex as he leaned in and just took things nice and slow with her one last time, prior to him getting up and turning around so that he can make his way out of their room. "Don't be long." Alex agreed with her husband. "I'm watching my show. Just talk to your sister and I'll be out before you know it." Matt agreed. "I may make a lasagna; you like that idea?" Alex smirked, as she loved that idea. "I think that's a great idea. Can you do that for me?" Matt nodded, as he most certainly can and will make the lasagna for her. "I'll do just that." Alex smiled as she agreed with Matt, while also watching him walk away so that he can head downstairs to be with his sister.

Alex's Thoughts: As I watched Matt walk away to head out to the living room so that he can go spend some time with his sister, I couldn't help but smile because of how happy I am right now. How pleased I am when it comes to how me and Matt are husband and wife. This truly is everything that I've ever wanted in life, due to the fact that he's the man of my dreams. The way he makes me smile and just makes me laugh is the best feeling in the entire world. And even better, he's a real hunk. He's so muscular and just incredible in bed. He makes me feel like the luckiest woman in the entire world, which I feel like I am due to the fact that a lot of things had to fall into place just for me and Matt to get to his place. (1) I had to get the job at Casey and model for them, (2) Matt had to fall in love with me if I wanted a chance with him; and (3) his relationship with his ex had to be so bad, that he could actually consider leaving her so that he can be with me. And lucky for me, all of those things happened, which is precisely why we're together now. Why we're married.

Now, is a simple Vegas Wedding my dream wedding? Of course, it's not. But, it's more than okay with me for now because of the title it gives me. It makes me Matt's wife; it makes me the one and only Ms. Matthew Casey, a title which I plan on having for the rest of my life since that's how long me and Matt are going to be married. Add in the fact that we plan on having children with each other, then we both know that this is something that's going to last a lifetime; and just the idea of this lasting a lifetime makes me smile since that's precisely what I want. I want to be married to Matt for the rest of my life, which is what he wants as well. We both want this marriage to last for the rest of our lives, and we're determined to make sure that it happens, and that makes me very happy. But not as happy as the way he touches me and pleases me in bed. Now, that's how you make love to a woman. God, the way he runs his hands all over my body is just perfect and I am so glad that I get to have that man all over me for the rest of my life.

He's going to make love to me all the time, I already know it; especially since he wants to be a dad so bad. God, I can already see that; I can see that Matt is going to be the best dad in the entire world because of how big his heart is. I can see him holding our children in his arms and just cradling them when they need his love and attention. I can see them calling him 'daddy' in my head, and I am more than ready to have that in my life. And that's why I'm ready to retire from modelling, while also hopefully becoming a designer for Casey. I mean, I am a member of the family now, which is why I would much rather contribute to the company, rather than just stay on the sidelines and model. Then again, Matt is a big fan of me modelling and I may try and do one last lingerie shoot for him so that I can get him to be all happy. We'll see though, as it takes time to figure things out; right now, though, I am just going to take it easy and concentrate on watching my show. Then, I'm going to go downstairs and spend some time with my man and his sister.

Speaking of Alex's man/husband, Matt was now in the kitchen; not that it was hard to get there, as his and Alex's bedroom is on the main floor of the home. It's one of the reasons why he bought this place in the first place, so that he can have easy access to the kitchen from his room (where he and Alex eat sometimes). But, it's not where they're going to eat their next meal due to the fact that Christie's here and she's going to want to eat with them; he just has to find her first as he doesn't know where she is. And there was a reason for that, which was that she was in her guest room for a minute. "Let me guess, you were looking for me?" Turning to face his sister as he walked into the kitchen, Matt snickered and agreed; after which, he made his way over to the fridge to grab the lasagna they were going to have. "Oh, you okay with us having lasagna?" Christie agreed, as she loves the idea of having lasagna. "Come here first." Matt agreed as he made his way over to Christie. "Hey." Christie smiled as she proceeded to hug her brother.

After which, she punched his shoulder. "Hey! What was that for?" Christie shook her head. "For not letting me be at your wedding!" Matt snickered. "Sorry, it was last minute. We literally stopped in Vegas for like 2 hours, then came right here." Christie agreed. "Speaking of Vegas, aren't you supposed to be there right now with Kelly and Andy?" Matt sighed. "Yeah, I forgot about that. I just…" Matt sighed once more, while looking at his sister. "When I was free, I just couldn't wait to marry Alex, so we went to Vegas and got married; then, we came here after getting married." Christie agreed with her brother, happy for him and Alex. "Well, I'm happy for you guys. I know that you've been wanting to be with her for a while, so I know that you must be very happy." Matt agreed with Christie as he was really happy. "Listen, how about you sit down? I want to talk to you about some things." Christie agreed with her brother as she went to sit down on one of the stools, while Matt walked into the kitchen. "Want anything to drink?" Christie agreed.

After all, she'd love some water. "I'd love some water. God, it's so warm out here." Matt agreed with his sister. "The best place for me to start my life as a married man, especially with a lingerie model as a wife." Laughing as she looked at her brother, the reason why he's here in California makes so much sense now. "If you bring that up to my wife, I will deny ever saying that." Putting her hands up, Christie agreed with her. "Yeah, so what's going on now?" Matt smiled. "We're just enjoying the start of our new life. Making some decisions for the future." Christie smiled. "Let me guess, you're already talking about becoming a dad?" Matt smirked, as that most certainly is something they're talking about (but you already knew that). "Yeah, we're talking about it, and I'm thrilled over that." Christie agreed, as she knew just how much her brother wants to be a dad. "I know you want to be a dad really bad, which is why I was always so confused as to why you were staying with Hallie when she made it clear she didn't want to have kids."

Matt agreed. "Can we not talk about her? I'm married now." Christie agreed. "When did you guys get married anyways?" Matt smiled. "Last night in Vegas." Christie was shocked as she heard her brother say that. "Like, last night? Damn! That was fast. Wait, that means that…" Matt nodded as he went to walk over to the coffee machine so that he can get them some coffee. "Yeah, you're interrupting me the day after my wedding." Hearing that, Alex yelled out. "YOUR WEDDING!" Matt laughed. "Our wedding. You get your dream wedding in a couple years." Christie agreed with her brother. "More like before you guys have a baby." Matt smiled, glad that she brought it up. "Speaking of us having a baby." Christie was shocked. "NO! You're kidding." Going to set her coffee down, Christie smiled as she got up so that she could hug her brother. "Wait, why are you…" Christie smiled. "God, why didn't you say that?" Matt then realized. "Oh god, we aren't pregnant yet." Christie just looked at Matt. "Oh." Matt then went to check. "Right, babe?"

Alex agreed. "Not pregnant yet." Matt agreed. "Ok. Enjoy your show." Walking back over to her chair, Christie smiled. "So, are you guys trying?" Matt smirked, nodding. "We aren't, not trying if that makes sense." Christie agreed with Matt, well aware of what he was saying. "However, there's something you need to know about what this means for Alex." Hearing that too, Alex agreed to let him tell her. "Go ahead Matt." Matt agreed with his wife. "Thanks babe." Christie was confused as she looked at her brother. "Hey, what's going on?" Matt sighed. "Uhm. Me and Alex spoke about this just today actually, but…we think that she's done modelling." Christie was shocked when she heard Matt say that. "EXCUSE ME! She's one of our best models." Matt sighed. "I know, I get that. But, we made the decision together on my recommendation after we agreed that we were going to start trying for a baby. Well, you know what I mean when I say that." Christie agreed with Matt. "You want her to get to a healthy place for a pregnancy?" Matt sighed and agreed.

He then looked at his sister. "Listen, the girls are always gorgeous and incredible when they model. I'll never deny that…" Matt then went to speak to his wife. "I CHEATED ON MY FIANCÉ WITH YOU, SO DON'T YOU DARE THINK ABOUT THIS ANYMORE ALEX!" Alex laughed as she heard Matt say that. "Agreed." Christie shook her head as she heard her brother say that. "Alex, get your ass out here right now. That's an order from your boss. Plus, I heard what you said about your soap opera. It's not on today! It's SATURDAY!" Matt then realized that. "Yeah, it's Saturday!" Alex sighed when Matt and Christie both said that, before deciding to get up out of bed. "Give me a minute. Christie, living room. I need to talk to Matt. Well, he's going to want to talk to me." Matt agreed with Alex, as he will. "If you don't mind sis?" Christie agreed with her brother, before getting up and walking away so that she can go sit in the living room; meanwhile, Matt turned his attention back to the lasagna so that he could check on it before Alex came out so they could talk.

However, Christie asked him a question first. "By the way, you moving here? I think I heard something about that." Matt nodded, as that's something he needs to talk to his sister about. "Yeah, we can talk about that in a bit." Christie nodded, ready to do just that as she proceeded to make her way into the living room so that she can watch some TV. "Actually, sis?" Christie looked at her brother. "Can you watch the lasagna? I'm going to go talk to Alex in our room if you don't mind." Christie nodded, well aware that they need to talk. "Go ahead. By the way, Violet says hi." Smiling, Matt agreed with his sister when she told him that his niece said hi; while also continuing to make his way over to his and Alex's room once more so that he can talk to her. After all, why in the world does she think that she can just like to him lie that. If something's wrong, when he wants her to talk to him about it so that he can help her because he's worried now; he's worried that his wife isn't okay and that she needs to talk to him right now. And she will talk to him.

Matt's POV:
As I made my way into me and Alex's room this morning, I noticed that the bed was empty; however, I did hear Alex in the washroom humming. So, I knew right away just where my gorgeous wife is. And that's precisely why I made a beeline towards the washroom, as I wanted to speak to her for a moment; though, I also wanted to reassure her that I wasn't mad. I want to make sure that she knows that first and foremost due to the fact that I love her more than anything and I want to be married to her for a long time. And I know for a fact that if I yell at her, that may not happen. So, I am just going to take it easy as I speak to my beautiful wife. And now that I was in the washroom looking at her, I couldn't help but smile because of how truly gorgeous my wife is. "Wow." Looking up at me in the mirror, Alex blushed as she clearly thought that I was joking when I said that. "Do you mean that?" I nodded when Alex asked me whether I meant that, as I most certainly do and will always mean that. "Hey, of course I do. You look gorgeous babe." Alex smiled.

After which, she set her makeup down, prior to getting up and looking at her shirt, which was very much a turn on due to the fact that it showed off her chest. "Have to say, that's a real turn on." Smiling, Alex agreed with me as I walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist. After which, I bent down and pressed my lips to her shoulder; after all, I want to talk to her so that I can know what's going on, which is my right as her husband (in my opinion). And that's precisely why I pushed on her hip. "Turn around for me babe." Agreeing with me, Alex turned around in my arms and then stepped close to me; wrapping her arms around my neck, Alex smiled as she looked into my eyes. Meanwhile, I wrapped my arms around her and placed my hands on her butt as I held my gorgeous wife close to me. "Hey, what's going on? You lied to me about your show so that you couldn't come out. You okay baby?" Alex sighed. "I guess, it's just nervous. I mean, I was worried she'd be mad at us. At me…" I looked at Alex when she said that, confused.

After which, I opened her shirt a bit and tugged on it to bring her body against mine; prior to leaning in and kissing the woman of my dreams. I then took things nice and slow with her, ensuring that she relaxed and just took it nice and easy with me. "Babe, it's all okay. I'm right here for her, and I'm more than ready to listen. What's going on?" Alex sighed as I asked her that question. "I guess, I'm just worried right now." Confused, I looked at Alex as I had no idea what she was worried about. "What are you worried about babe?" Alex sighed as she ran her hands down my arms. "I think I'm worried about whether she's going to approve of us or not?" I smiled when Alex said that. "Babe, she loves you. She loves the fact that we're together, as it means that I'm no longer with Hallie. She hated Hallie and didn't want us together; she especially didn't want her to be her sister-in-law, which I understand now." Alex agreed with me as I told her that, before wrapping her arms around my neck and leaning in to kiss me softly. Meanwhile, I just took things nice and slow.

I kissed my wife nice and slowly, as a way to ensure that we were both very happy with each other. Then again, it's not very hard to be nice and happy with each other when we're very comfortable and just taking it easy right now. I'm holding the woman of my dreams in my arms, as I take it nice and easy with her. There's nothing better than this feeling, and Alex knew that since she was all over me right now. Well, only until my sister decided to disturb us. "Whoops, I thought you guys were just in bed talking. I wanted to make sure you were okay, while also telling you I put the lasagna in the oven." Turning our heads, me, and Alex both agreed as she told us that; after which, I placed my hand on Alex's back and kissed the side of her head. "You want a minute with my sister? You guys can talk? I know you guys want to talk." Alex agreed with me as I asked her that, clearly more than ready to talk to my sister. "Yeah, thanks babe." I agreed with her, kissing her softly. "No problem." Smiling, I went to walk out. "How about you go sit in my bed?" Christie looked at me.

After all, she wasn't too sure about that. "Seriously Christie? Are you really asking me that question right now?" Crossing her arms (like a baby) Christie gave me a bit of side-eye. "It's a valid question with you guys being all over each other." Alex just looked at my sister. "Christie, get in bed and just take it easy. I'll be right out, and we can talk." Christie agreed with Alex as she said that, while I turned to look at my wife (who really turned me on when she did that). "Now, that was hot, and I love the way you just put my sister in her place." Alex agreed with me as I told her that, before looking up at me in the mirror. "And I can do the same with you later, unless you go make us food." I agreed with my wife, nodding as I walked away. "Christie, take it easy on her. And just to let you know, the Los Angeles move was my idea." Christie agreed with me. "Can I ask why?" I sighed when she asked me that question, before telling her. "I just feel like I'm done with Chicago, need a chance, a fresh start. Between Hallie and dad, I just need to be somewhere new."

Christie agreed with me when I said that, clearly understanding where I was coming from. "Yeah, I get that. Sorry, that happened to you, I'm just glad that you're going to move away and take it easy. We can talk about what this means for the office there another time." I agreed with Christie as she said that. "Yes, we can. I'm on personal time right now since I just got married yesterday." Christie smiled. "Congratulations again. Now, how about you go work on some food. I need to talk to Alex about what you told me about. How she wants to become a designer and how she's done modelling." Coming out of the washroom, Alex sighed. "You heard that?" Turning our heads, me, and Christie both smiled at Alex; with Christie speaking to her. "Yeah, I did. But, it's okay. How about you come join me in bed? We can talk for the first time as I finally have a sister!" I just looked at my sister when she said that. "HEY!" Christie smirked. "Oh, shut up. I can't talk to you about girl things or else you just tune me out." I sighed, as I knew that was true.

After which, I turned to look at Alex. "Just make sure that you don't put Alex in the middle. And if you do, don't expect her to take your side." Making my way back over to Alex, I smiled as I wrapped my arms around her and then bent down to kiss her softly. "I love you." Alex agreed with me, smiling as she stared up into my eyes. "I love you too. Now, you go work on the lasagna. We'll be out soon." I agreed with Alex, before walking away so that I can go make us all some lunch. "It'll be an hour. I'll just sit out there and watch TV." Alex agreed with me as I said that. "Sounds good." Walking away, I smiled as I went to go sit in the living room to watch some TV; while Alex proceeded to make her way back to our bed so that she can talk to my sister.

Alex's POV:
Sitting in bed with Christie, I took a breath due to the fact that this was a bit awkward. I mean, she used to be my boss; and now I'm her boss. I mean, that's just not something very easy to deal with and I'm just glad that we're in a good place when it comes to this. The last thing I want to be is in a bad place with my sister-in-law. "So, do you want to talk about it? The change?" Christie laughed. "You mean, how you're my sister-in-law now? I think we're good. And I mean that Alex, because I know that you make Matt happy." I smiled when Christie said that. "We make each other happy." Christie smirked when I said that. "And you're going to make him even happier when you get pregnant with your first child." I was shocked when I heard Christie say that. "Hold on a second, he told you that?" Christie nodded, as Matt did mention that; plus, she just knew in her heart that it was one of the reasons. "It was one of the reasons I always knew that Matt was never really going to marry Hallie. She never wanted kids; you clearly do." I agreed with Christie.

Taking a breath, I looked at my new sister-in-law. "Christie, listen. Can I just speak to you for a minute?" Christie agreed, smiling. "Go ahead, the floor is yours." I smiled. "Listen, this has nothing to do with you not being a good boss or me…" Christie looked at me as I said that. "Hey, I know that Alex; don't even worry about that." I smiled when Christie said that. "It's all about me and Matt's dream to have a family. We just think it'd be better if I was done modelling as part of that goal." Christie agreed with me. "Because of the way you have to eat for photoshoots, compared to how you need to eat if you want to get pregnant." I agreed with Christie. "I want to put my health in line before we get pregnant. Plus, I want to be there for Matt. I think there's actually another reason why we're in LA." Christie was confused when I said that. "And what might that be?" I sighed. "I think the whole Hallie situation got to him and he's just overstressed in Chicago. He's overwhelmed and just needed somewhere fresh to start our life with each other now."

Christie agreed with me when I told her that, while also smiling at me as she was clearly very happy for me and Matt. "I hope you guys know that I'm very happy for you guys. As much as I hate the fact that I'm going to loose you as a model, I know that you're going to be very happy as a couple. You're the woman that Matt needs in his life." I smiled when Christie told me that, as I absolutely loved the sound of me being the woman Matt needs in his life. "The truth is, I think that we need each other in our lives. There's just something about the way we make each other so happy that makes me smile all the time." Christie agreed with me as I told her that. "And I can already tell that Matt's much happier compared to how he was before." I smiled, nodding as she said that, while also pushing a strand of hair behind my ear. "Listen, I would like to do something else though at the company if that's okay?" Christie nodded when I said that. "And what might that be?" I smiled when Christie asked me that. "I think I might be interested in designing."
