Natsu got up. He didn't accept the hand she held out to him. To tell the truth, he didn't want to accept anything from her. She was his poison.

The pink haired boy had already disappeared at the back of the classroom. He dropped his bag next to his desk. Fucking back to school. Fucking class. Fucking EVERYTHING. He was probably asleep. So he pushed a key slightly in his thigh.

She knew that her friends wanted to tell her many things, but her wish was to take the course. The girl simply unfolded the paper and read it. Grey's writing.

"You're going to be confused by a lot of stuff. Don't back down and don't react to anything. I'll explain it all to you."

She turned to her friend, starting her face again.

What. The. Fuck.

That was her mind actually. She didn't understand what Grey meant. Everything was confusing to her. And no one had warned her that Natsu would be in her class. At that point, she would also have to give them explanations. That was her second mistake. And she knew that they knew. He couldn't have kept it to himself.

When the bell rang, 2 hours later, Natsu was the first to go out. The tension between them made him very uncomfortable and angry. Unfortunately, he wasn't the only one who was fast. The whole group was behind him. Even Erza. It smelled bad. But they didn't seem to have noticed it. He sighed, reassuring himself that the break would go well.

Never expect something like that.

- NATSU~," screamed a high-pitched voice in front of his classroom.

A young girl grabbed him by the arm. Lisanna. His girlfriend.

And Lucy didn't know it.

The blonde was surprised. She didn't expect to come out of class and see a girl kissing Natsu. Her Natsu. Correction, she couldn't appropriate a person. He decided on his own.

Then she understood Grey's word. It was necessary to remain neutral. Especially since she and Lisanna were not great friends.

Gajeel pinched her ribs to distract her. The shock could be read in capital letters on her friend's face. She yelped and begged him to stop. Her group, usually so quiet, seemed to be the loudest in the halls. Everyone was looking at them. Lisanna too.

She choked when she saw the blonde in the group. The white-haired girl was having the worst day of her life. Or at least her school year.

So he sighed when Grey pulled Lucy by the shoulder with a smile on his face. He wanted to pull her away. To, technically, take advantage of their break. But he knew that, in reality, the kid was just saving his friend.

Lisanna took him with her. She was weighing. Lucy had still succeeded in getting out of it. Bitch of miss perfect. It was decided, she would not leave Natsu without supervision, there was no way.

Arrived in the top courtyard, at the back of the building, she sat on a bench. A white weighs down the atmosphere.

- Lis," Natsu began, lighting a cigarette. I didn't know it, I swear.

- But yes of course," she grumbled. You were not at all aware that Lucy Hertfilia would be back. And in your class too!

Two shadows joined them. Jellal and Elfman. The only friends Natsu had still. The rest of them were with Luce.

He hadn't pronounced that name for a long time.

- What's going on," Jellal asked.

- The bitch is in Nat's class.

The pink haired boy raised his eyebrows.

- Don't talk about her like that.

He pressed the cigarette butt with his heel on the floor.

Elfman wanted to calm his sister down. He couldn't.

Natsu grimaced. His heart stopped. Just for a second. Then restarted. Lisanna was telling the truth.

- She was in deep trouble," he whispered.

Lisanna was silent. Elfman could loosen his grip on her body.

- She wasn't feeling good, and I couldn't help her.

The girl came forward and grabbed his face in her hands, forcing eye contact.

- I remember the condition you were in after that. You were in a bad way. And it was her fault. I saved you, I helped you regain your energy. Don't let her ruin it a second time.

And so she kissed him. But Natsu couldn't erase his guilt with a simple kiss.

Meanwhile, the blonde had gathered her friends around a table. It was time for answers.

- Makarof-san is going to take his retirement," Jubia began.

- Mirajane is going out with Laxus," Grey replied.

- Juvia thinks they're cute together. She wants to see them get married.

The blonde nodded, now that's an interesting gossip.

- I've got a part-time job offer for the library," Revy exclaimed.

- Juvia and Grey are dating," her boyfriend said, opening a can.

The group stared at him, each one making a face.

- What the hell," he asked, taking a sip.

He spun the can for his friends.

- Gajeel, I may have been gone for two months. But I think I've noticed the difference since I've been back.

- Well, you don't notice every couple either.

There was a silence. Lucy swallowed, her hands tweaked the hem of her left wrist.

- How did that happen? I mean, for both of them.

Her friends avoided her look. No one dared to talk about it. Erza made up her mind with a sigh.

- She followed him all the time after he told us about you two. Then they arrived holding hands at Sting's party in mid-August. We were surprised. He stopped going out with us after tonight.

The blonde grunted.

They continued gossiping, she didn't pay any attention to it anymore. To tell the truth, her remorse haunted her. She felt that the year would be hard on her mind. Especially if Lisanna continued to push her.

The girl shook her head. She shouldn't interfere with their relationship, it wasn't her own.

So she let the day pass without paying any attention to it. It was hard, but she did it.

Her feet dragged her to the sidewalk. Her headphones screamed Willow's latest album into her eardrums, drowning out her brain.

Avoiding thinking. And moving forward. That's all she needed.

If she hadn't felt Natsu's presence behind her.

He only lived in the next neighborhood.

He felt tense looking at the ground. He tried not to look up but it was impossible. Natsu blushed then thinking of what Lisanna would say if she saw this. His girlfriend would surely have had a temper tantrum. Shouting that he should go back and ruin his life with her. But he loved Lisanna. He bit his cheek, staring at the figure in front of him. Her physique was always beautiful. And what about those jeans. Perfection.

Lisanna. Think about her and no one else.

And anyway, it was disrespectful to stare at a woman's body.

He went out of his thoughts when he saw Lucy turn right. He turned left.

So, they were still separating. This thought made him angry. The young guy remembered the pain he had gone through. He hated it.

He smiled. Who would believe him if he couldn't?

Natsu shot in a rock. He felt sad just thinking about it. But happy when he saw her. Then sad when she left.

Shit, he thought as he opened the door of his house.

No one had come home yet except him.

The young man went up to his room and lay down on his mattress. His arms crossed on his forehead, he let his legs hang down at the end of the bed.

Strangely, a tear flowed. He did not wipe it away. She finished her fall on the sheet.

He loved Lisanna.

He loved Lucy.

And all this would end in disaster.
