AdieuLupin: You'll just have to see how it goes.
XTCViper: Well, Bladewolf can't win them all.
hunter41963801: Bladewolf will be turning Heel soon.
Straw Hat PiratesFan2023: No, that was the final time. This series ain't being deleted for any reason, because I plan on doing it seriously, not having my OC switch between gimmicks like every month and whatnot.
Disclaimer: I do not own WWE. I only own the OC George Edwards/The Bladewolf.
"Okay, so they basically got a Beauty and the Beast storyline going for us?" Patricia asked as she and George stood together in catering, looking over what the creative team had thought up for them leading up to Backlash in three weeks. They were still at the arena for SmackDown, having finished the Bladewolf vs T&A match, and were now going after the storyline they were in that the creative team had thought up along with Vince .
"Basically, yeah." George said as he flipped a page and hummed at some of the stuff he read. "Not really sure about this, to be honest. I mean, my character isn't exactly the type for romance."
"Neither was King Kong and yet look at how that movie turned out." Patricia pointed out with a smirk as George blinked and looked at her.
"You've watched King Kong?" He asked with surprise.
"The original 1933 film, yeah." Patricia nodded. "Never watched that shit of a 1976 film, or it's sequel. though I did watch King Kong vs Godzilla from 1963. Good movie."
"So you like monster flicks?" George asked, a little surprised she was into those kind of movies. She struck him as more of a comedy and drama kind of girl.
Patricia shrugged. "They're alright. used to love watching the classic Universal monster films like Dracula, the Wolfman, Frankenstein, you name it, I've watched it. I like monster movies , horrors, comedy, action, bit on the fence for going to the theatre to see that 1998 Godzilla film."
George snorted. "Yeah, I know what you mean. Saw that movie myself, got a neutral opinion on it because I am a fan of Godzilla, but mostly the original Toho movies."
"Hmm." Patricia hummed before an idea occurred to her. "Hey , you a fan of superhero films?"
"Yeah. I watched Batman from 1989." George nodded.
"Good, because I was planning on going to see X-Men in July... and I was wondering if you'd like to come with me?" Patricia asked a little shyly. She hadn't felt this nervous since she asked a boy out at high school.
George blinked before he thought about it, then nodded. "Okay. If we're not busy on the road during that time, then yeah. I'll go and see X-Men with you."
"Great!" Patricia said with a wide smile, showing off her pearly white teeth. "Anyway, I gotta go shower and get changed into regular clothes since I'm not doing anything else tonight."
George nodded and watched her go, silently appreciating the curves of her body before he shook his head and shook that thought away. "Shouldn't be thinking about that. Don't got time for a relationship."
"That's what they all say." Paul Lévesque (Triple H) said as he came up and patted George on the shoulder. "let me tell you, man, trying to maintain a relationship in this business, especially keeping it under wraps, can be hard."
George looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Out of respect for our friendship. are you trying to compare this to what happened with you, Stephanie and Joan?"
Paul winced at that. "No! Just... look, dude. Trish there is attractive, alright? And you're gonna be in this Beauty and the Beast storyline with her. Trust me when I say, feelings grow. Sometimes it goes from business into personal levels. You just need to make sure if it's what you want should you somehow develop feelings along the way because... I see the way you look at her."
"I literally just met her on Monday ." George argued.
"And it's clear she's already captivated you." Paul nodded, ducking a swipe from his friend.
"Look, I ain't interested in a relationship right now." George said with a sigh. "I mean, sure there was that brief fling with Sable in 1997-"
"Still can't believe you slept with her." Paul muttered, ducking another swing.
"We were drunk and kept it under wraps." George said.
"And then there was Sunny-"
"We were drunk!"
"I think you're going to be drunk for all your one night stands." Paul said with a smirk before running off with George chasing after him.
"Get back here you bastard!"
Later
George arrived at the hotel that the wrestlers had booked to use while they were in the city. George went into the building, made sure he had his hotel room key and took the elevator up to his floor which was the sixth floor. However, as soon as he stepped out he saw Patricia standing outside her own door, looking quite frantic.
"You alright?" George asked as he walked over.
"No! i think I've lost my key!" Patricia said, looking quite stressed as she opened her duffel bag that she brought to the arena since it had her ring egar and a spare set of clothing. "Dammit! i don't want to make a mess out here!"
George watched her for a moment before he looked at his door, which was across from hers actually, before he decided to be a good friend and walked over, unlocking his door and held it open. "Hey, Trish? Why don't you stay in my room for the night and we'll find your key later."
"You'd do that?" Patricia blinked at him in surprise.
"Well, can't leave you out here all night looking for the key and getting your clothes everywhere." George pointed out. "You can shower and sleep in my room. We'll look for your key in the morning."
"Thank you." Patricia smiled at him before she walked in. George watched her enter the room before he sucked in a deep breath then exhaled.
'Keep it business and professional.' George thought to himself. His past relationships never worked out, and he didn't know if he was ready to go into another after five years of being single. Shaking his head, he walked into his room and shut the door behind him...
And that's it for this chapter. It's slow-building between George and Trish. I don't want to rush anything. Sorry for the chapter being too short, I tried my best with it. I am going to do a lot of off screen moments and chapters as best as I can do them.
