chanteholland807: They're two different finishers. I just forgot to add Fury of the Wolf, which is a Fireman's Carry Facebuster, the same move as the F5 while the Wolf's Wrath is a Fireman's Carry Cutter.

XTCViper: Thanks.

hunter41963801: Thanks.

AdieuLupin: Damn right.

Disclaimer: I do not own WWE. I only own the OC George Edwards/The Bladewolf.

George was backstage at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, Pennsylvania where tonight's RAW was being held. The ring was still being set up and some of the wrestlers and backstage workers had arrived. George was busy on his phone when he felt a poke at his spine.

"Whoa-hey," George spins around to a laughing Patricia. "Okay. Now what if I was drinking something?"

"You would have been, S-O-L and I feel sorry for the poor soul who would have been in front of you." Patricia folds her arms.

George chuckles. "This what I have to look forward to. You scaring me?"

"A few times," Patricia smirks. "Got to admit you were to easy. The little scream made it obvious."

"I was texting, and it was manly yell thank you." George waved his phone.

"Ah-uh." Patricia playfully rolls her eyes. "That's what it was."

"Hush." George zips, Patricia snickers. "You ready?"

"Getting there."

George walks with her as they start down the hall.

"What's making you so nervous?" He asked her. "Someone bothering you or something?"

"No, it's just... I'm nervous about this storyline, George." Patricia said with a sigh. "I only debuted in March, not done a lot to get to work with the legendary Bladewolf-"

"Hey, I've only been since 1997, I ain't achieved legendary status like Mark or Shawn has." George said.

"That's not what everyone else says." Patricia said with a small smile. "From what I've heard, everyone respects you as much as they respect the Undertaker after the Hardcore match you two had last year."

"Yeah... that was a night itself." George said with a small chuckle. "But look, you shouldn't be nervous about working with me. Anyone who says something is just trying to cause shit to stir. Believe me, it's happened before. When I first came here, the tension could be felt from miles away when it came to Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart. Look, don't give a shit about what anyone says. You're fine. You're perfect."

Patricia scoffs. "I'm not perfect Colby."

"To me you are." George says with no hesitation. Patricia's eyes look over but he kept his gaze ahead. He meant it. "Sometimes it's best to think that way for ourselves as well. It lessens the stress. You know how good you are. You'll make mistakes out there but it doesn't change the fact you're good out there. Besides... I ain't perfect myself. Made many mistakes before and after I became a professional wrestler. Some of them were... a hit at my confidence. I ain't a good guy."

"Oh don't start that cliché shit." Patricia said with an eye roll.

"I'm not! yeah, I may be okay now but years ago... boy was I a piece of shit. My brothers and I... we acted like we were untouchable, we were arrogant, foolish, because we felt like we could." George said with a sigh, slightly ashamed at what he did in those days during school and after they left school. "Took a while for us to change for the better and we felt like becoming wrestlers helped with that. We wanted to do some good, get a good pay, and have a job we'd love to keep coming too everyday."

"So you've had a few rough edges, everybody has. You've clearly changed since then or else I'd be dealing with an arrogant piece of shit that I'd want to smack for even looking at me." Patricia said, causing George to snort before he chuckled.

"Harsh, but okay." He commented. "You feel any better, or are you still nervous?"

"I think I'm okay." Patricia stops with him. "Like you said, confidence starts with me. Right?"

"That's right."

"Thank you," Patricia says to him. "I would hug you but I'm not for breaking personal space."

"Trish hush, and come here." George held his arm out. Giggling, she walked into his one arm hugged that turned into both as he held her right. "You got this."

Patricia nods, giving him a gentle squeeze as she was buried in his hug for a brief moment but she didn't mind. It was one she desperately needed at the moment and it did it's job well. All those nerves she had were slipping away with ease and she was so happy for it and even grateful to the person who helped the most.

A certain pine and ember coming from the cologne he had on. One hug made the difference and so did his words. If only the guy everyone judged knew how much power he had when it came to the simplest things. Just in that moment he made a difference.

Patricia struggles to do so but knew she had to as she pulls herself away.

"Thank you, George."

"Anytime." He tells her. "You know where to find me when it gets the best of you. I still remember how nerve wrecking it can be." George fixed the strands that came from tucked behind her ear. "And if you ever need to talk about anything else..." Patricia's eyes meet his. "I'm here."

Giving his hand a gentle squeeze. "Thank you," a genuine smile lifts her lips. "I'm happy to be working with you."

"Yeah, and I'm happy to be working with you." George said with a soft smile as he stared at her with soft eyes.

"Well, I'm gonna go freshen up, get a quick shower before the show starts, then we'll go over what we're doing tonight." Patricia said as she starts to walk away. "See you later!"

"See you!" George called and watched her go, feeling his heart beat faster than normal. He enjoyed working with Patricia. She seemed to make his life feel more at ease than ever before. He didn't know how to explain it, but he was glad she was in his life, even if they had just met a few weeks back, but they have taken the time to bond. Both at the hotels and on the road when they need to drive to the arenas.

He was hesitant to try and see if a relationship was possible between them. He knew that it could be difficult given their job, and keeping relationships hidden from the public as wrestlers doesn't exactly go well. The last thing George wanted was to turn this into something similar to Shawn, Sunny and Bret.

George enjoyed that lingering touch, that warmth, he liked the smell of her shampoo, he liked her personality, her looks were merely a bonus, and she made his heart skip a beat. He soon came to realize something that slightly worried but didn't worry him.

He had a crush...

Looks like someone realizes he's got a crush on the beautiful blonde-haired girl. Next chapter is the 4-17-2000 RAW, which is continuing on from this chapter since this one is happening before that show begins.
