gaaradamirel90: Bladewolf will get the WWE Championship back, but not anytime soon. I mean, he went over 200 days in his second reign, so he's taking a break away from the title picture. I can't have him go for a title all the time.
Guest: I'll see what I can do.
hunter41963801: Thanks.
lawhoncl: I'm doing what I can.
Disclaimer: I do not own WWE. I only own the OC George Edwards/The Bladewolf.
SmackDown: 25/5/2000
SmackDown was live at the Roberts Municipal Stadium in Evansville, Indiana. The show opened with police officers stationed in the center of the ring, at the request of Mr. McMahon. When the limousine carrying Mr. McMahon, Shane McMahon and Gerald Brisco arrived, Mr. McMahon demanded that the Undertaker be arrested for trespassing Monday on RAW. Not even a second after Mr. McMahon promised that what happened Monday would not take place this evening, the Undertaker appeared and attempted to run the owner of the World Wrestling Federation over with his motorcycle!
An incensed Mr. McMahon screamed at the officers for not protecting him from the Undertaker's attack, and called out the Grim Reaper. Out came the Phenom of the Federation, decked in a black trench coat, dark glasses and blue bandana. After asking who the hell the Undertaker thought he was, Mr. McMahon warned that he would pay a price for his actions.
Mr. McMahon proceeded to verbally attack the Undertaker, first telling him that he single-handedly cost The Rock the Federation Title at Judgment Day. Then he addressed Monday night, saying he could have arrested him for trespassing that evening if he wanted to, and informed him that he is without a contract and that nobody walks out on Vince McMahon. On those grounds, the Federation's owner demanded the Undertaker's arrest. But the Phenom revealed that it was Linda McMahon who re-signed him to a new contract - "lots of years, lots of zeros" - before Judgment Day.
So since he couldn't have the Undertaker arrested for trespassing, Mr. McMahon demanded his arrest for attempted vehicular homicide. One officer responded that if he should arrest the Undertaker, he would have to arrest Mr. McMahon as well, for assaulting a police officer by jamming his finger in his chest. Mr. McMahon was left alone with the Undertaker, who grabbed him by the throat in a chokeslam attempt. Shane came to his father's rescue, but his chair shot had no effect on the Grim Reaper!
Tag Team Champions Edge and Christian informed fans that they issued an open challenge to any team that they haven't beaten, except they claimed that they've defeated everybody. Everybody except Eddie Guerrero and Chyna. "Latino Heat" took the match right to the champions with quick tags and double teams. Edge came back with a standing dropkick, and the champs kept the European Champion in their half of the ring. Guerrero reversed an attempted Christian powerbomb into a sunset flip, and was able to make the needed tag to Chyna. The Ninth Wonder of the World cleaned house, but ran into an Edge spear. The tag champions double-teamed Chyna and shoved the referee, causing the disqualification.
The Acolytes caught Crash Holly in the APA office. Faarooq had thought Crash learned his lesson from the beating Bradshaw gave him on RAW, but Crash challenged Faarooq to another fight by shaking a beer can and opening it in his face. In the ring, Crash got off to a fast start by breakin on Faarooq's face, but the momentum didn't last long. Crash was hoping to show Faarooq that he wasn't a 14-year old kid, but the old veteran taught young Crash what hardcore was really all about, finishing him with The Dominator on a trash can.
To determine the No. 1 contender to the Intercontinental Title, Chris Jericho, Hardcore Holly and Val Venis competed in a Triple Threat Match. Jericho and Venis united to attack Holly, but that ended when the two Superstars prevented each other from making the pinfall. Jericho took control of the match and almost finished Venis with a missile dropkick. He later caught Holly in a tarantula, a submission hold utilizing the ring ropes, but Venis broke up the hold. After a late Venis rally, Jericho hit his Lionsault on "The Big Valbowski," but fell victim to a Holly guillotine leg drop. With Jericho out of the way, Holly covered Venis for the win to earn the No. 1 contender spot.
In the office of the McMahon-Helmsley regime, Brisco informed Vince that The Rock was on his way. Against advice, Mr. McMahon insisted that he would handle "The People's Champion." When they met in the parking lot, Mr. McMahon insisted he was not looking for trouble and offered The Rock the night off, but not before attempting to stir trouble between he and the Undertaker. Before The Rock left, he asked Mr. McMahon to come a little closer, and slapped him in the face! While Mr. McMahon recovered, the Undertaker was seen in the back stalking him.
Before his match with Essa Rios, the Bladewolf was shown backstage at the interview area with Trish Stratus at his side. The crowd gave a mixed reaction as Kevin Kelly started the interview. "Bladewolf, I just wanted to get your reasoning on why you attack the Hardy Boyz this past Monday on RAW and what your issue with them is?"
Bladewolf gave him a look. "Did you not listen to what I had to say Monday Night? Did everyone get so stupid that I have to spell it out for them? Fine, let me repeat myself, Kevin, I said I was going to bring a reign of chaos and destruction in wake of my return here in the World Wrestling Federation, and I would choose my targets. It doesn't matter to me who it is, it could've been anyone... hell, I could've picked you."
Kevin backed up nervously before Trish grabbed his shirt and pulled him close, taking the microphone from his hand.
"To spell it out clearer for you, and the rest of the trash in Evansville..." She said, and the crowed booed at the insult to their hometown while the Bladewolf chuckled. "My boyfriend said he's here to bring chaos and destruction. He may no longer wear a mask, but he's still the demonic and destructive monster you all trembled in fear at just the sight of. The Hardy Boyz were his chosen victims, and they will serve as examples to the rest of the WWF locker room, and to whoever is chosen next after my boyfriend is done with them."
Bladewolf smirked, put an arm around his girlfriend's shoulders and took the microphone. "I don't have to explain myself to everyone, I do what I want to whomever I want."
With that, the couple walked away as Kevin looked a little afraid after that interview.
'In the arena'
Essa Rios' theme hits to a negative reaction and Rios comes out with the beautiful Lita at his side. The bell rings and Tony Chimel begins introductions. "The following contest is scheduled for one-fall! Making his way to the ring, accompanied by Lita, from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, weighing 217 lbs... ESSA RIOS!"
Rios and Lita making their way down the ramp and to the ring. While Lita remains outside, Rios enters the ring and shows off to the crowd before he stops as his theme dies down and waits for his opponent to arrive.
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
I bring the Darkness (End of Days) by Jim Johnston plays as the Bladewolf walks out with Trish Stratus at his side, earning a mixed reaction from the fans. The couple start making their way down to the ring. "And his opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Trish Stratus, from Death Valley, weighing 310 lbs... THE BLADEWOLF!"
"This will be the Bladewolf's first match back since Judgment Day, King." Cole said. "On Monday Night RAW, he explained he was here to cause chaos and destruction, and his victims would be chosen randomly. And he ended up choosing the Hardy Boyz."
"Well, I can't explain what he's thinking, but he's made the best decision in letting Trish come with him to ringside." Jerry said, awestruck by Trish's beauty.
"Oh God." Cole rolled his eyes. "Either way, the Bladewolf takes on Essa Rios who's gonna have to figure out a good gameplan to take the big man down and beat him. Something that's easier said than done."
While Trish remains outside, the Bladewolf enters the ring and takes off his vest, dumping it outside the ring without taking his eyes off Essa Rios. The referee checks both men before calling for the bell.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
"Bell rings, matchup underway." Cole said as Bladewolf and Rios circle one another. "Bladewolf and Essa Rios going up against each other."
They lock up but Bladewolf used his superior strength to manhandled Rios and throw him into the corner. He goes for a right but Rios quickly ducks out the corner and backs off as Bladewolf flips his hair back and watches him.
"Rios will need to use his speed to avoid getting manhandled by the Bladewolf." Jerry said. "But he's got a good luck charm at ringside."
"What?" Cole frowned.
"Lita!"
"Oh."
Rios attempts a kick but fakes it out and backs away from the Bladewolf who watched him with a look of non-amusement as Rios kept avoiding him. Bladewolf adjusts his right elbow pad when Rios runs at him only to be clobbered with a huge right punch.
"What a right hand!" Cole exclaimed along with some of the crowd.
"I felt that!" Jerry added as Bladewolf grabs Rios around the waist and hits a German Suplex. "Oh!"
"German Suplex right across the ring!" Cole noted.
Bladewolf gets to his feet and walks over to Rios, watching him try to pull himself to his feet. Bladewolf brings a clubbing forearm down across Rios' back, sending him down to his hands and knees. Bladewolf places his hands on Rios' back then drives his knee right into Rios' ribcage, causing him to groan out in pain and cough.
"Oh! Knee to the ribs." Cole said. Bladewolf drags Rios over and hooks the leg. "Now the cover!"
"One!"
"Two-!"
Rios kicks out at two.
"And Rios kicks out." Cole said. "And you gotta wonder more about this relationship between the Bladewolf and Trish Stratus. I mean, she is the woman who cost him the WWF Championship to Triple H the night after WrestleMania."
"Well, she is hot so he probably forgave her." Jerry shrugged.
"Because she's hot?" Cole frowned.
"What, have you not seen her? Her and Bladewolf are a couple!" Jerry pointed out.
Bladewolf gets to a knee and starts driving his right fist into Rios' forehead repeatedly until the referee steps in, causing Bladewolf to scare him back with a glare. Bladewolf gets to his feet, pulls Rios to his before he pulled him close and hits a belly-to-belly suplex that sends Rios rolling out the ring to Lita's feet.
"What a belly-to-belly!" Cole said.
"Lita, move back!" Jerry called even though Lita couldn't hear him.
Bladewolf exits the ring and Lita backs off as Bladewolf looks at her for a few seconds before he turned to Rios who grabbed Lita and used her as a shield.
"Look at Rios!" Cole said with disgust. "Using Lita as a shield!"
Lita looked wide-eyed at the Bladewolf who merely shook hi head with amusement and stepped forward, causing Rios to shove her towards the Demon Wolf who had been swinging his fist only to clobber Lita instead.
"Oh!" Jerry exclaimed with wide eyes.
"Bladewolf just... I think he was going to punch Rios but got Lita instead!" Cole said.
Bladewolf glanced uncaringly at Lita before Rios jups him, only to be caught in the arms of the Bladewolf. Bladewolf runs and drives Rios' back into the ring post, drops him like a sack of potatoes. Rios tries crawling away but Bladewolf grabs him and drags him towards the steel steps, pulls him to his feet and then Irish whips him... RiGHT INTO THE STEEL STEPS!
"Oh!" Jerry and Cole exclaim.
"Right into the steel steps!" Cole added.
Bladewolf grabs Rios by the hair and delivered a headbutt to Rios' forehead, then tosses him into the ring. The Bladewolf slides in and walks over to grab Rios, when Rios suddenly rakes his eyes which caused Bladewolf to grunt and back off, checking his eyes. However, it allowed Rios to get somewhat of an upperhand as he delivered clubbing forearms to the back of the 2-time WWF Champion.
"Now Rios gaining the upper hand here." Cole said.
Rios grabs Bladewolf by the hair and drives his head off the top turnbuckle, causing him to stumble back Rios then climbs up to the top turnbuckle, jumps off... AND CONNECTS WITH A MOONSAULT ON BLADEWOLF!
"Moonsault!" Cole shouted.
"Wow!" Jerry added.
Rios covers the Bladewolf.
"One!"
"Two!"
"Thr-!"
Bladewolf kicked out with force, throwing Rios off him.
"And the Bladewolf kicks out." Cole said.
Rios gets to his feet and pulls Bladewolf to his, then runs, bounces off the ropes and leaps at Bladewolf who sidesteps and pushes him... RIGHT INTO LITA WHO WAS ON THE APRON AT THE TIME! Lita was sent off the apron as a result and landed on the floor hard.
"Oh!" Jerry's eyes widened.
"Lita! Lita got knocked off the apron!" Cole shouted.
Rios turns around, only to be grababed... AND HIT WITH HELL'S END!
"Hell's End!" Cole shouted. "That Reverse STO Bladewolf used on Test and Albert at Judgment Day!"
Bladewolf rolls Rios over and hooks the legs.
"One!"
"Two!"
"Three! Ring the bell!" The referee called.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
I bring the Darkness (End of Days) plays as the Bladewolf gets to his feet and flips his hair back. "Here is your winner... THE BLADEWOLF!" Tony Chimel announced as the crowd gave a mixed reaction.
"Bladewolf looking dominant in his first televised match back." Cole said. "And I think there's more to come."
"I hope Lita's okay." Jerry said, more concerned about Lita than the outcome of the match.
Trish slides into the ring and wallks up to her boyfriend, pecking him on the lips and they exchange a kiss for a few seconds before Bladewolf looks to where Lita was, then said something to Trish who gained a sinister grin as she slid out the ring.
"What's Trish doing?" Cole frowned.
"Not sure." Jerry shook his head.
Trish tosses Lita into the ring and slides in, grabs Lita by the arms and holds her up for Bladewolf, who examins her for a moment... THEN GRABS HER BY THE THROAT!
"No!" Jerry shouted.
"He's going to Chokeslam Lita!" Cole added.
Lita looked to Rios for help, but Rios was like 'screw this!' and left her to her fate. Lita looked wide-eyed at the Bladewolf who was ready to hit the Chokeslam when Matt and Jeff Hardy come running down the ramp.
"Here comes the Hardys!" Cole shouted.
Bladewolf released Lita and quickly left the ring with Trish just as the Hardy Boyz entered. Bladewolf and Trish back up the ramp to boos from the crod, but Bladewolf just gave a sinister smirk in response as he watched the Hardys check on Lita.
"This rivalry has just gotten started, King." Cole noted.
"It has." Jerry nodded.
SmackDown went to commercial break...
And that's it for this chapter everyone. I hope you all enjoyed it.
